Переслать - 'Girls' Gets Glam With New Nail Polishes
FROM MTV STYLE: You know what really fancies up a onesie? A perfectly pretty manicure, that's what! Thank goodness, then, that Deborah Lippmann has concocted a collection of nail lacquers inspired by the four friends of HBO's hit series "Girls."
That's right! Just in time for the show's second season, you can pick up a collection of shades representing Hannah, Marnie, Shoshanna and Jessa.
"Deborah Lippmann's colors are irreverent and classy and I've always coveted them (and stolen them from my mother), so who better to embody the 'Girls'' spirit in polish form," said creator/star Lena Dunham. "I've been wearing Hannah like it's going out of style."
We're personally enthralled by Jessa's Bohemian Burgundy, but you can take a look at the entire collection over (and get pre-order details) at MTV Style!
Переслать - Carrie Bradshaw And Co. Are Totally '80s In New 'Carrie Diaries' Trailer
Crimp your hair and collect your friendship bracelets, y'all: a brand-new and trés retro new trailer for "The Carrie Diaries" is all over the internet today, after airing last night during the "Gossip Girl" series finale.
Between the Adam Ant soundtrack, the unmistakable style and the intermittent shots of a be-sweatered Austin Butler looking like a total "Tiger Beat" coverboy, there's no question that this "Sex and the City" prequel is all about the 1980s...and with a truly evocative line comparing sex to an unspeakable activity involving cased meats and a keyhole, there's no question that they've borrowed at least a little bit of the original series' signature raunch for this CW drama about the life and times of a young Carrie Bradshaw.
AnnaSophia Robb and her crazy-curly hair are still front and center in this new extended peek at the show, but you'll also see more of the supporting cast—including Ellen Wong and Katie Findlay as Carrie's teenage ladyfriends (who, by all appearances, could give Samantha a run for her money when it comes to sexual TMI over brunch). Also noteworthy: lots and lots of made-in-the-80s fashion, including high-rise jeans, cravat blouses and plenty of neon nail polish.
But let's be real, the real eye candy in Carrie-land is of the male variety...and the real ooh-la-la moment of this trailer has nothing to do with what people are wearing, and everything to do with what appears to be a seriously steamy aquatic kiss between AnnaSophia and Austin.
"The Carrie Diaries" premieres at 8 p.m. on January 14.

Переслать - Hollywood Crush Readers' Favorite 2012 YA Novel Is...
Shadowhunters not only look better in black—they look better atop the leaderboard too. After a week of feverish ballot-casting in Hollywood Crush's Favorite YA Novel of 2012 poll, Cassandra Clare's urban fantasy "City of Lost Souls" has slayed its way to the top spot!
The novel, the fifth in the author's "Mortal Instruments" series, handily bested second-place finisher "The Fault in Our Stars" by John Green and third-place finisher "The Golden Lily" by Richelle Mead.
"I'm so happy that so many have embraced the story of Jace and Clary and their friends," Cassie told Hollywood Crush of the honor. "This fifth book was a pleasure to write but also sad because I knew it meant the end of the 'Mortal Instruments' was drawing closer. It will be bittersweet to say goodbye to the characters next year!"
But as one chapter of "The Mortal Instruments" saga closes, another begins. The big-screen adaptation of series starter "City of Bones," starring Lily Collins, Jamie Campbell Bower and Robert Sheehan, will hit theaters August 23, 2013.
Long story short: Shadowhunters are here to stay!

Переслать - 'Pitch Perfect' EXCLUSIVE Clip: Watch The Treblemakers Make Trouble
If you didn't catch the dulcet tones of the a cappella comedy "Pitch Perfect" back during its theatrical run, you'll be glad to know that you've got a second chance to remedy your egregious error in judgment. (Seriously, you guys? We told you, like, a million times that this movie is the business. GEEZ.) The movie is out on Blu-ray and DVD today, ready to fill your ears with music, warm your heart with romance, and splatter your decolletage with a projectile burrito thrown from a moving bus. And to celebrate this delightful moment, we've got an EXCLUSIVE extended scene from the film!
In this clip, reigning a cappella champions—and the Bellas' arch-nemeses—the Treblemakers face off against an alumni group made up of 30-somethings who showed up looking for a rumble of the traditional, non-musical, beat-you-in-the-face-with-my-fists variety. But when the guys refuse to resort to violence, the tension escalates and things start to get...weird. (We don't want to spoil it for you, but let's just say that one of these dudes has a seriously questionable relationship with the Golden Girls.) Also: hilarious one-liners from our most favorite lady Rebel Wilson! Getting pitch slapped never hurt so good.

Переслать - 'Vampire Academy' Movie Moves Forward With Screenwriter, Script
Fans of Richelle Mead's fangtastic "Vampire Academy" series have been bloodlusting after news regarding the big-screen adaptation ever since the rights were optioned by Preger Entertainment way back in the summer of 2010. Now—finally!—there's some forward motion on the long-gestating project.
According to the film's official Facebook page, "Heathers" writer Daniel Waters has finished a script for the movie!
"Dan has written a brilliant screenplay for "Vampire Academy," producer Don Murphy wrote. "Smart and funny, clever and really a great read—it is going to make a terrific film."
Though probably best-known for the teen dramedy, Dan was also a screenwriter on "Batman Returns," "Hudson Hawk" and "Demolition Man."
For the uninitiated, "Vampire Academy" introduces best friends Rose Hathaway (a Dhampir) and Lissa Dragomir (a Moroi), who through a twist of fate become "shadow-kissed," leaving them telepathically bound to one another. The six-part series follows Rose and Lissa through all manner of life-threatening circumstances, punctuated by love, loss and political intrigue. We, for one, can't wait to see this engrossing tale brought to the big screen.

Переслать - 'Gossip Girl' Reveal: XOXO?
Spotted: Spoilers ahead if you haven't watched the "Gossip Girl" series finale!
And so it was that Lonely Boy and Gossip Girl were one and the same.
After six seasons of back stabbing and bed hopping, the true identity of the Upper East Side's most infamous blogger was revealed during last night's "Gossip Girl" season finale, with Dan Humphrey unmasking himself as the mysterious scandalmonger.
It was a surprising revelation, to be sure, but one that ultimately made sense. How else was Dan to insinuate himself into the privileged world of Manhattan's elite than through his writing, all the while crafting an identity he could control and use to his benefit?
But that's what we think! What's your opinion of Dan's big reveal? Vote in our poll after the jump!

Переслать - Emmy Rossum's 'Beautiful' Screening
As if we weren't already jelly enough of Emmy Rossum (that voice! that hair! that closet full of cute cotton clothes!), the actress spilled via Twitter today that she's preparing for a very magical screening: the first look at supernatural romance "Beautiful Creatures."
Happy Monday twitter verse! Very excited I get to see a private screening of Beautiful Creatures tonight. Can't wait to see it!!!
— Emmy Rossum (@emmyrossum) December 17, 2012
The film follows caster (a.k.a. witch) Lena Duchannes, who moves to a small Southern town and falls in love with mere mortal Ethan Wate, causing all kinds of problems, naturally. Emmy stars as Lena's cousin Ridley, who's been claimed for the dark side and and lures men with her siren powers.
Here's hoping Emmy can conjure up some kind of post-screening review, otherwise we'll have to patiently (or not so patiently) wait for the film's premiere on February 13.
Are you dying to see "Beautiful Creatures"?
