- Star Spotting: The Wanted Get Dressed Up In Christmas Sweaters, AKA Best Greeting Card EVER (PHOTO)
The Wanted get holiday festive, and this is why we LOVE Christmas!
Put two of our favorite things together, like boy bands AND Christmas, and you'll have us in the palm of your hands. So The Wanted's picture of them decked out in holiday attire basically has us swooning and awww-ing at the SAME DAMN TIME (BTW, Jay McGuiness makes such an adorbz reindeer!). It's official: This photo is our Holiday Card 2K12. Hey, some people send pictures of their babies or families on Christmas cards; we send sexy boy bands who had killer success in 2012 on ours. To each his/her own.
The "I Found You" singers shared the photo on Facebook to let us know that they're a part of VEVO's advent calendar event AND that we could possibly win a print of the band!!! While we can only begin to ponder which image we'd like blown up and have turned into art (maybe the one of the band pantsless or Jay wet in the shower), we have a wish list of other things The Wanted could give us for Christmas: peace with One Direction, tons more new tunes, a collabo with Justin Bieber, annnd... if they have time... a personal invite to make us honorary band members. Christmas is all about dreaming big, guys, and we're going for it.

Переслать - New Song: The Saturdays Featuring Sean Paul, 'What About Us'
The Saturdays call on Sean Paul for an assist on their reggae-tinged track, "What About Us."
The Saturdays are preparing for their U.S. takeover, and with a hot new record featuring Sean Paul and a brand-new E! reality series, "Chasing the Saturdays," we're pretty sure it's gonna happen sooner than later. Because are we, as proud American citizens, really not going to embrace a girl group who look that adorable holding vintage boom boxes? I rest my case.
Listen to The Saturdays' "What About Us" featuring Sean Paul after the jump.
Although the title bears the same name as Brandy's 2002 masterpiece, The Saturdays' "What About Us" is a reggae-tinged pop jam with a hefty assist from the one-and-only Sean Paul. The song is set to an island-flavored beat. As Sean Paul chimes in with the occasional "How ya feel?!" The Saturdays sing in harmony about trying hard to nab their dude (a concept we don't fully understand because, well, just LOOK AT THEIR FACES): "Boy it's now or never/ Time we get together/ Been a long time coming/ now I need that loving." It's up for debate whether or not this is the best song we've heard from The Saturdays, but LUCKILY we'll get to decide soon since their triumphant U.S. takeover is superimminent! Also, again, THE FACES!

Переслать - New Song: Fort Lean, 'The Mall'
Fort Lean really loves the mall, guys.
It shouldn't come as a shock that we've got a little thing for Brooklyn-based rockers Fort Lean. You might recall their song "Sunsick" (which is a JAM, by the way) from when we first buzzed about them. Or perhaps it was their cinematic "All The Lights" that turned us into FL converts. So you can imagine how psyched we are to bring you Fort Lean's latest, "The Mall." And nope, it's not realllly about shopping, per se.
Listen to Fort Lean's "The Mall" after the jump.
In their classic style, lead singer Keenan Mitchell SLAYS us with his lush vocals, enhanced only by the tight harmonies from the rest of the band. Taken from Fort Lean's Change Your Name EP, "The Mall" seems to be a shopping center on the surface, but if you dig deeper, you'll find a lot more to the song than simple musings about the food court: "I'll make you drive me to the mall/ That's the only place I want to go.../ Everything we see is perfect." Right? There's definitely a metaphor in there somewhere. And actually, even if there's not, you gotta give props to these boys for writing an ode to the No. 1 suburban teenage hangout. (But we can almost guarantee there's a deeper meaning. Why else would guys from BK sing about a mall, you know?)

Переслать - New Video: Black Veil Brides, 'In The End' (VIDEO)
Watch Black Veil Brides' apocalyptic "In The End" video.
Black Veil Brides are in a contemplative mood on "In The End," the first single from their upcoming third full-length, Wretched and Divine: The Story of the Wild Ones. The song's video finds the Los Angeles band performing in the midst of a postapocalyptic wasteland, fighting dangerous-looking bands of marauders and sinister priests, and probably, we're guessing, having trouble finding a place to plug in their amps. But the important thing is, none of that stops them from rocking the eff out.
Watch Black Veil Brides' "In The End" after the jump.
The high-concept metal-core act's new video is all part of Wretched and Divine's overarching story, which includes a forthcoming film called "Legion of the Black, about a group of rebels called The Wild Ones who "defend their hearts, minds, and bodies against F.E.A.R," according to the band. Based on frontman Andy Biersack's introspective mortality lyrics, a big part of that has to do with what happens after we die. "In the end, as you fade into the night. Who will tell the story of your life?" he sings over crunching percussion and furiously squealing harmonized guitar leads. (BTW, Biersack is looking a lot more dangerous than the last time we saw him in costume, or out of costume as the case may be.) "And who will remember your last goodbye?"
Well, in his case, probably the legions of fans who've rocketed the band to success.

Переслать - New Song: Bruno Mars Featuring Esperanza Spalding, 'Old & Crazy'
Bruno Mars and Esperanza Spalding take us straight back to the '40s on "Old & Crazy."
It's no secret that Bruno Mars' musical stylings have always had a taste for the retro (please see: "Locked Out Of Heaven"), but we never thought he'd go all out and release "Old & Crazy," a jingly-jangly, might-as-well-have-been-released-in-the-'40s-style, boogie-woogie banger. But he did, and we dig it.
Listen to Bruno Mars's "Old & Crazy" featuring Esperanza Spalding after the jump.
Slated as the bonus track on Unorthodox Jukebox's Target Deluxe Edition, Bruno enlisted the help of last year's Grammy Award winner for Best New Artist, Esperanza Spalding. A playful and kitschy track, both the "Young Girls" singer and Esperanza take turns cooing about the crap that goes along with getting old: "Will you still call me 'baby' when I'm old and crazy?" While we can understand why this tune was relegated to "bonus track" status (it's not exactly a sexified pop single), it's simple, sweet, and definitely worth a listen. Even better, blast it while you're wearing an apron and cooking a rump roast for dinner and apple pie for dessert! It'll enhance the effect.

Переслать - 10 Reasons Why You NEED To Watch 'VH1 Divas' LIVE On Sunday, Dec. 16, At 9 P.M. ET
Here's 10 reasons why you should tune in to "VH1 Divas" on Sunday!
We're in celebration mode, guys! It's the end of the year, and there has been so much good stuff to look back on (we could talk about Demi Lovato for like an hour alone, OK?). So let's blow 2012 out with a spectacle like no one has ever seen! We're talking, of course, about "VH1 Divas," a show that pays homage to all the world's FOINEST diva talent and features a lineup so stacked, that we don't know how they're going to fit all of that FLAWLESSNESS on stage. (We're sure they'll find a way.) Like, we're talking about Adam Lambert, Miley Cyrus, Kelly Clarkson, and MORE in one auditorium. Need we even continue?
Here are 10 reasons you should tune in to the show on Sunday, Dec. 16, at 9 p.m. ET on VH1.
1.) JUST IN CASE YOU WEREN'T AWARE GLAMBERTS, ADAM LAMBERT IS HOSTING! Yes, the "Trespassing" singer/guyliner expert will be hosting the salute to some of our favorite singers of all time.
2.) ADAM LAMBERT IS PERFORMING AS WELL, INCLUDING A MADONNA SONG! And he ain't just hosting either! Yes he will be performing a number of songs, including a tribute to the Queen of Pop, but he's been mysteriously mum regarding the particular Madge tune. HMM.
3.) MILEY CYRUS WILL TAKE A BREAK FROM PERFORMING WITH STRIPPERS TO SING AT "VH1 DIVAS!" We don't know if she's bringing the bondage gear or not, but we do know Miley will be performing at "Divas," and we're definitely sure the "Decisions" singer is going to bring it!
4.) OUR QUEEN (AND LAST FANS STANDING WINNER) DEMI LOVATO IS PERFORMING "GIVE YOUR HEART A BREAK" Demi has had such an amazing year: from having the craziest fans to winning a VMA for "Best Video With A Message" for "Skyscraper." And now she's finishing out 2012 with a performance that will def SHUT DOWN the "Divas" stage. We can't wait!
Learn more about why you should tune into "VH1 Divas" after the jump!
5.) JORDIN SPARKS, MELANIE FIONA, AND LEDISI WILL PAY TRIBUTE TO WHITNEY HOUSTON! This year, we lost one of the greatest singers of all time: Whitney Houston. Her passing affected so many of us who loved her, and some of today's biggest stars like her "Sparkle" costar Jordin Sparks, Melanie Fiona, and Ledisi will all honor her legacy with a must-watch performance.
6.) KELLY ROWLAND, ADAM LAMBERT, AND KERI HILSON WILL HONOR THE LATE DONNA SUMMER WITH A TRIBUTE! The iconic and irreplaceable Donna Summer left a lasting impression on music (she's going into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame next year, and WELL DESERVED), the word "Diva" would have less meaning without knowing Donna's presence. Kelly Rowland, Adam Lambert, and Keri Hilson, some modern day divas in their own right, will do Donna justice by giving a magnificent onstage tribute.
7.) CIARA WILL DRAW INSPIRATION FROM MICHAEL JACKSON FOR HER SHOWSTOPPING PERFORMANCE! Even after he's departed, MJ still continues to inspire us. Ciara has hinted that a Michael Jackson song may sneak its way into her performance. Ciara: always be startin' something.
8.) "DIVAS" VETERAN KELLY CLARKSON WILL BE PERFORMING "CATCH MY BREATH!" Trust Kelly here -- she's a total pro. We're also keeping our fingers crossed that she'll join in on some major tribute songs as well. After all, she did spend all year covering other people's songs on tour!
9.) NATASHA BEDINGFIELD, IGGY AZALEA, AND BOOTSY COLLINS ARE PERFORMING DEEE-LITE'S "GROOVE IS IN THE HEART!" It's a '90s party, guys. Seriously, "Groove Is In The Heart" is my jam, and with Natasha and Iggy performing it, we could not ask for another! Like another performer on it... you know, it's fine, nvm.
10.) "BASKETBALL WIVES"' OWN JACKIE CHRISTIE WILL HOST THE RED CARPET STARTING AT 8PM! Hopefully the drama will be kept to a minimum, because we're supposed to love each other diva-to-diva on such a celebration!
+ Watch "VH1 Divas" airing Dec. 16 at 9 p.m. ET on VH1. The show is hosted by Adam Lambert with performances from Jordin Sparks, Pitbull, Demi Lovato, Kelly Clarkson, Ciara, Iggy Azalea, Natasha Bedingfield, Miley Cyrus, Kelly Rowland, Ledisi, Keri Hilson, Paloma Faith, Metric, Melanie Fiona, and more.
Переслать - Watch Ed Sheeran, One Direction, And Taylor Swift Sing (And Dance!) Karaoke Together (VIDEO)
That time One Direction, Taylor Swift, and Ed Sheeran all sang (and danced) karaoke together.
Remember when we told you that Haylor (Taylor Swift + One Direction's Harry Styles, KEEP UP) went on a karaoke date? And that they sang Elton John and Kiki Dee's "Don't Go Breaking My Heart?" Well, now there's ACTUAL VIDEO PROOF of the event, and it was honestly SO much better than you could have ever imagined. Why? Because we learned that it was actually Ed Sheeran and Harry Styles who sang the song while Taylor danced in the background (and we're imagining little cartoon birds fluttering around her as she goes). We repeat. ED SHEERAN AND HARRY STYLES SANG A LOVE DUET TO ONE ANOTHER!
Watch Ed Sheeran, One Direction, and Taylor Swift dance and sing karaoke after the jump.
Ed (who btw cowrote "Little Things" for 1D and "Everything Has Changed" for Taylor) and Harry seemed to have a total ball professing their love for each other via song. Meanwhile, Taylor seemed contented to dance with 1D's Niall and Louis while her new boyf
flirtedgot his karaoke on with Ed. While we wouldn't recommend that Haylor sing "Don't Go Breaking My Heart" (or her brand-new "I Knew You Were Trouble" for that matter), we honestly couldn't be more thrilled that Ed and Harry did. Which leads us to a crucial question: Any ideas for an Ed + Harry name? "Hed" just seems really plain.+ Watch Ed Sheeran, One Direction, and Taylor Swift dance and sing karaoke, catch Taylor Swift's "I Knew You Were Trouble" video, and see Taylor Swift talk about going dubstep.

Переслать - New Song: T.I. Featuring Pink, 'Guns And Roses' (NSFW)
T.I. and Pink get emotional on "Guns And Roses."
T.I.'s forthcoming Trouble Man: Heavy Is the Head drops Tuesday, and really, what better way is there to rev us up for the album's release than by unleashing his collaboration with Pink, aptly titled "Guns And Roses." Because if Pink can't "Get The Party Started," then we don't know who can! (Ba dum, ching!)
Listen to T.I.'s "Guns And Roses" featuring Pink after the jump.
This isn't Pink's first foray into the rap universe (see: her collaboration with Eminem on "Here Comes The Weekend"), and after one listen to "Guns And Roses," we can totally see why the hip-hop community clamors to get her on their records. T.I. takes the first verse on the T-Minus produced jam and spits about what he calls "a bittersweet romantic story": "My heart says nah, she can't leave me never/ Been head over heels since the very day I met her/ Feel so deep in love I ain't been able to get up/ Sometimes I want some peace of mind cause she don't shut up." Pink's lush, vibrato-laden vocals command the song's hook from there and serve as a perfect feminine contrast to T.I.'s verse: "Should've known it/ From the start it was already over/ Now we're just too dumb to notice." Man, that's seriously heavy, but then again, did you expect Pink and T.I. to sing about candy and glitter?
Be on the lookout for T.I.'s new disc, which not only features his amazing collabo with Pink, but also boasts features from R. Kelly, Andre 3000, and Lil Wayne.

Переслать - Star Spotting: Pharrell And Diddy Go Shopping Together, Because Bros Dates Are ALWAYS In Style (PHOTO)
Pharrell and Diddy went on a shopping bro date.
We know, you're all like, "But celebrities shop in designer stores all the time! This is no biggie." And fine, that's true, but there's just a lil' something extra about the sight of Pharrell and Diddy werqueing their American Express Black Cards at Lanvin that makes us realllly happy. Maybe it's because dudes don't traditionally go on shopping dates? Or perhaps, it's because Diddy's arm is so casually resting on Pharrell's shoulder?! Whatever it is, we just can't help but be entranced by this photo's serious aura of #bromance!
Pharrell (who, for all those true fashionistas out there, was rocking Lanvin's new sheepskin jacket) and his shopping buddy Diddy were snapped by Lanvin staffers who were thrilled the duo decided to stop by for a little retail therapy: "Thanks, @Pharrell for stopping by with
#Diddy. You rock in our#Lanvin sheepskin coat. xo." But also, what happened next?! Did the bros hit up Prada and give each other fashion advice? Did they go have some caviar for lunch, followed by a deep tissue massage? Or maybe it was courtside seats at a Knicks game? If anyone can offer accurate insight as to what the second half of Pharrell and Diddy's day out on the town looked like, we'd be forever grateful. (Fantasizing with half the info is no fun!
