Britney Spears laughing is really the only gift we need this holiday season.
In the words of the legendary Donna Summer, Britney Spears works hard for the money. Really though, she topped Forbes' 10 Top-Earning Women In Music 2012 with $58 million (uh wow, can we borrow 20 bucks?). What we're trying to say here is, with all of that hard work on "The X Factor," having your own fragrance(s), and also being one of the world's biggest pop stars, sometimes it's necessary to have a little laugh. TRUST, we've been there, Brit. And it's our prerogative (had to), to celebrate the miracle that is the Holy Spearit and bask in the joy of her laughter. (We don't have 58 mil in the bank though, so we're more like cry-laughing.)

NOPE, still funny!
Appearing at the "X Factor"'s final press conference of the season *TEARS*, the "Scream & Shout" singer appeared to have caught a serious case of the giggles and went for a ride on the LOLercoaster. Maybe Britney remembered that hilarious thing Simon Cowell told her the other week. Or maybe Britney's experiencing one of those moments when you TRY to hold it in, and then it just totally backfires and into inappropriate laughing, and then it only makes it worse (AKA "The Giggle Loop"), and pretty much you're a one-woman LOL patrol. Believe us, that's pretty much half of our day at the office. The other half is split between daydreaming that we're in One Direction and making GIFs, in that order specifically.
This is that part when you're catching your breath after cry-laughing and you're like, "Whoooooo."

Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett team up again for a jazz rendition of "You And I."
It's no secret that Lady Gaga is a style chameleon, capable of slipping in and out of literally any type of fashion at the drop of a (meat) hat. The above also applies to her music: Gaga, who has collaborated with more than her fair share of venerable music greats (including this performance with The Rolling Stones and her duet with Cher from last year), has reached even further back into the musical cannon with this new jazzy version of her song "You And I," recorded with inimitable jazz great Tony Bennett.

The swinging, sultry, smoky number isn't the first time Gaga's worked with Bennett, either. She also recorded a version of the standard "The Lady is a Tramp" for Bennett's Duet's II album last year. Um, and let's not forget Bennett's nude painting of the smoking (literally) diva. Does that count as a collabo?
The new take here, which is a taste of what's to come the duo's upcoming jazz album, is an exciting shift away the country-leaning original. The slowed down, horn-led, brush-stroke approach relocates Gaga's song from the dusty open roads of the Midwest to a hazy, swaggering lounge of the 1920s. The album, Bennett has said, is "going to really reaffirm that she's one of the best jazz singers that anyone's ever heard," which is high praise indeed, considering the 86-year-old crooner has been around for almost all of them.

Cody Simpson turns Frank Ocean's "Super Rich Kids" into his own "Super Beach Kids."
Covering Frank Ocean seems like the obvious choice these days because, well, Frank's songs are the effing best. And while you might expect that "Thinkin Bout You" would be the cover song of choice, we've been quietly waiting for someone to cover our personal favorite Frank Ocean jam (and the true sleeper hit of Frank Ocean's Grammy-nominated R&B Channel Orange debut) -- the Earl Sweatshirt-assisted "Super Rich Kids."

Cue Cody Simpson: Not only has he covered Frank's "Super Rich Kids," but the pop singer took it one step further by re-imagining the tune entirely and changing the setting from say, the Upper East Side, to the beach. Changing the title to "Super Beach Kids," Cody keeps Frank's melody and overall vibe intact, but instead of singing about privileged kids, Cody sings about his beach-obsessed pals. And rather than "searching for some real love" as per the original, the kids in Cody's version prefer to search "for them real waves." Instead of starting his day "up on the roof," Cody starts his "morning on the sand." Honestly, we don't even like the beach (um, wrinkles, duh), but this jam makes us wanna grab some SPF 100000 and hit the sand. With an giant umbrella, of course. And in a few months, because it's COLD OUT right now. Nicely reinterpreted, Cody. You done good.

Rihanna poses makeup-free (and clothed!), is still stunning.
We'll keep this one short and sweet because, well, we're not sure we wanna spend all day talking about how gorg Rihanna looks without makeup (our jealousy issues are raging today). That said, we feel it is our civic duty as faithful members of the Rihanna Navy to bring this unique Rihanna photo to your attention.
After seeing a flood of stunning Rihanna photos surface over the past few months (both clothed and not clothed...OK fine, mostly not clothed), it's kind of refreshing to see the gal who was just named MTV News' "Rockstar Of The Year" rock with with no makeup (pun intended, obviously). And in a long, black, fully-covering-her-entire-body knit sweater to boot! (Maybe she finally gathered it was cold out?) Don't get us wrong -- we're not complaining about our ever-growing collection of fully made-up, basically nake-o shots of Rihanna, it's just nice to see the natural side of her too. Which brings us to our final and most crucial point: Would you get a load of that bone structure!? #Cheekbones.

Alicia Keys becomes a new woman in "Brand New Me."
Alicia Keys is totally slaying the game right now. Her brand-new Girl On Fire disc just topped the Billboard 200, making this the fifth No. 1 album of her career, and now she's just unleashed a new video, aptly titled "Brand New Me." We think that deserves a slow clap.

Directed by Diane Martel ("If I Ain't Got You" and "Like You'll Never See Me Again"), "Brand New Me" has Alicia right where we like her: at a piano. The clip begins with the "Girl On Fire" singer (and her giant mane of curly hair) pensively playing the piano, then getting up to walk confidently through an unfinished backstage set. As the track climaxes, Alicia pauses for a vocal breakdown (the good kind of breakdown!), but not before pulling off her wildly curly wig to reveal a much shorter 'do -- which we're guessing is the final stage in unveiling "the brand-new her." #METAPHORS! At the video's end, Alicia finds herself back at the piano, but this time with a fresh outlook (on life? Music? What to have for lunch? We're not sure). But guys, we think the ENTIRE VIDEO IS A METAPHOR. At least Alicia didn't include any cocooning butterflies -- that might've been overkill.

Nope, you haven't died and gone to heaven. It's The Wanted singing "White Christmas"!
Perhaps you already saw Austin Mahone sing "Jingle Bells" with his mom and a well-placed golden retriever? And were so overcome with "AW" that you had to sit down for a few minutes? Was that just us? Um, moving right along... Next up on MTV's "12 Holidaze" performance list is one of our favorite (boy) bands EVER -- and we don't just mean that because of their adorable accents -- it's The Wanted! The "Glad You Came" singers chose to sing "White Christmas" for their "12 Holidaze" segment and yes, the golden retriever (whose name is Stormy, btw) is there, too. Because it's just not a "12 Holidaze" video without him.

Honestly, it's hard not to grin your way through The Wanted's "White Christmas" rendition. Not only are the boys harmonizing just so, but class clown Max George has jokingly covered his face and head in puffy white cotton (aka fake snow) so that he resembles a weird-looking Santa (or just himself in 50 years). We kinda had a feeling The Wanted would get a little silly on set judging by their would-be greeting card and Max's penchant for beard hats. While the guys sing a cappella in a circle, Stormy the dog chills next to them before scampering off (The Wanted wave him off), and then returns as the boys exclaim, "He came back!!" Seriously, beautiful (British) boys, pitch-perfect voices, AND an adorable dog? We love our jobs.

Guys, guess what day it is...it's Christina Aguilera's 32nd birthday!! Can you believe she's one of those people who's birthday is so close to Christmas that she probably gets DOUBLE presents? (Well, considering that it's Xtina, we're not surprised -- she probably planned it that way from birth.)
We're so proud of everything Christina's accomplished -- which is SO MUCH. Not only has Christina been pouring out hits since 1999's "Genie In A Bottle," but we've been obsessed with her decade-long style transformations (uh, remember "Dirrty" and the subsequent birth of Xtina?). And obviously we've been nothing but obsessed with her comeback album, Lotus, and watching her coach wannabe singers every week on "The Voice." In fact we're SO proud of our Legendtina, that we felt it necessary to make a GIF wall capturing all her iconic music videos. So, let's take a take a trip back into the Christina Aguilera music video vault to relive all her finest teen pop/drrrrty/beautiful/bodylicious moments. Happy birthday, Christina! You are beautiful!

First you see Joe Jonas' stunning mug, now you don't!
There is nothing, we repeat, NOTHING, better than a Joe Jonas selfie taken while lying down in bed. (So many things we could say here, but this is a family blog, so we'll keep it clean.) And that's exactly what we thought we were getting when we clicked on one of the middle Jonas' recent tweets. Here we were all like, "look how hot and scruffy Joe looks taking a quick catnap in bed with a floral duvet cover!" Then we realized that maybe this floral duvet cover possibly belonged to Joe's rumored new girlfriend, because why would Joe have a floral bedspread? But nonetheless, we were like "HE LOOKS DAMN GOOD."
But then, as if someone was trying to seriously give us a panic attack, this stunning selfie of Joe transformed into a torturous GIF that, brace yourselves, covered Joe's beautiful mug! As you can see in the GIF above, Joe felt it was appropriate to place what we believe to be a gray knit hat over his stunning face, and then make a GIF of it. Sure, we appreciate the creativity and all, but didn't your mama teach you NEVER to mess with a Jonas face? Come on now, this is basic common sense.

BESTIE ALERT: Jordin Sparks and Adam Lambert may have forged the greatest friendship ever at "VH1 Divas."
"VH1 Divas" is SERIOUSLY the gift that keeps on giving. Not only did the show pack a list of AMAZE performances into two hours (including Miley Cyrus grabbing her crotch and Kelly Clarkson being ENGAGED), but the evening also forged some new and dear DIVA friendships. Adam Lambert, who played gracious host to the star-studded event, already found a great friend in Kelly Clarkson (the two are "American Idol" alum, after all), but he may have to add someone else (a third "Idol" alum) to phone "Faves": Jordin Sparks! The pair KILLED it in their onstage tribute to Whitney Houston, and they decided to commemorate the night with a pic of their best fierce faces. (Oh, and we think NeNe Leakes would agree that Adam has officially achieved full Diva status.)
Snapped after the show, Jordin uploaded the photo to Instagram with the caption: "'DIVAS WAS AMAZING!' What did you guys think? @adamlambert was incredible! Good to see you love!!<3." Maybe we're crazy, but we think these two should take a whole Facebook album's worth of BFF selfie pics. If there was a Tumblr called FunnyFacesOfJordinAndAdam, we'd reblog like every picture on there. (Just lose the duck face, Jordin, K?)
