  • Star Spotting: We Really Hope Drake Is Cooking Up Some Donkey Sauce With Guy Fieri (PHOTO)

Drake, possibly cooking up a three-napper with Guy Fieri.

Drake is UNQUESTIONABLY a Canadian hero. He did just join Justin Bieber on stage over the weekend in Toronto (we're pretty sure that 50 percent of the country's precious cargo was on stage that night). Celebrity chef Guy Fieri spends most of time either traveling across the United States eating diner food, or opening restaurants like Guy's American Kitchen And Bar to great...er...fanfare. Since these two guys represent their home nations so proudly, we should DEF consider this a summit between our some of the countries' greatest ambassadors.

The "Amen" rapper was snapped working in the kitchen with Guy yesterday with the caption: "Drake And Guy Fieri Last Night." That has us wondering: what kind of recipes would these two come up with? Well it would definitely have a lot of "Diced Pineapples," a liberal amount of Guy's famous Donkey Sauce, and a "Fancy" sprig of parsley? Okay, that doesn't sound very good, but we have to believe that these two will find a way to whip something up that will taste delicious. If all else fails, Guy can just deep fry whatever they come up with. Don't worry if it's unhealthy for you... Drake says "YOLO" anyway!

  • Video Premiere: Craig Owens, 'Paradise'

Craig Owens stays balanced in the video for his cover of Coldplay's "Paradise."

You know how we've slowly been taking you through some of our favorite tracks off of Punk Goes Pop 5? Like Forever The Sickest Kids' dead-on take of Rihanna's "We Found Love," and We Came As Romans' version of The Wanted's "Glad You Came." Well we're also in obsesso mode over on-again Chiodos frontman Craig Owens' rendition of Coldplay's epic record, "Paradise." And now there's a video, too, and it's a tear-jerker, so get ready to ugly-cry on your yoga mat.

Watch Craig Owens' "Paradise" video after the jump.

Truthfully, we were a little nervous when we heard that "Paradise" would be included on the Punk Goes Pop Volume 5 compilation (a punked-up Coldplay? We weren't sure...), but Craig did a masterful job of infusing some of his rock sensibilities into Coldplay's sparkling melodic record. Interlaced between shots of a lone but not lonely Craig performing and doing yoga (incidentally, we swoon for a punk yogi), we see shots of Craig in the studio recording his version of Coldplay's smash. While it may seem a little out of the ordinary for Craig to start doing yoga poses mid video, finding balance is clearly one of the ways Craig finds strength in himself and his sobriety finds his willingness to inspire others: "Focusing on myself is the best way to be a help to everyone around me. So I stay focused, and thankful for the things that I have -- and roll with the punches life sometimes throws my way," said Craig. Also, did we mention that Craig totally nailed that really high part of THE chorus? You know, that one part where Chris Martin goes "para para paradise!" #OnPoint.

  • New Song: Austin Mahone Featuring Flo Rida, 'Say You're Just A Friend'

Austin Mahone releases his own take on Biz Markie's "Just A Friend."

Austin Mahone seems to be expanding his contact list (or Facebook friends, whatever method you prefer) at a rapid pace. First, he announces that he's opening for -- ahem -- Taylor Swift, and now his brand-new single, "Say You're Just A Friend," features Flo Rida. Not too shabby for a 16-year-old. But then again, he's a 16-year-old who is totally jacked, so clearly dude is focused.

Listen to Austin Mahone's "Say You're Just A Friend" featuring Flo Rida after the jump.

Truth be told, we never thought any version of Biz Markie's famed "Just A Friend" could top Mario's interpretation, aptly titled "Just A Friend 2002," but the "Say Something" singer has released his own take on Biz's hit, and we're all about it. Set to a sugary sweet pop beat, Austin's record sports an original verse that has him singing his heart out to a lady pal (key word, pal). Naturally, once the chorus rolls around, Austin is still trying to get this gal to date him, only this time, he borrows Biz Markie's familiar melody. Flo chimes in towards the end, and ushers Austin right back into the refrain of his soul-baring hook. Did we need to hear this song remade again? Not necessarily, but if anyone's gonna do it, it might as well be Austin. Also, we knoowww Austin must be joking, right? Because what girl's gonna call him a "friend," when he wants to add the word "girl" in front of that word? But it's cool -- he's paying homage to a classic. We get you, Austin.

  • Beyonce And Jay-Z In The Studio Together? We Smell A Duet! (PHOTO)

Bey and Jay hard at work in the studio. But where is Blue Ivy?

When we heard that Beyoncé would start recording her next album, we nearly lost our minds. And can you blame us? She's Queen Bey! We caught a glimpse of her recording tracks a few weeks ago, and of course with this AH-mazing news, we started to speculate if there would be any guest appearances on her upcoming record (pshh, not like she needs 'em or anything). But according to this photo snapped by Timbaland-affiliated writer Jozzy, it looks like Bey's better half, Jay-Z, might appear on a track with her! (Either that or he surprised her some mid-recording session Chinese food like the good husband that he is.)

Jozzy snapped the pic of the Super Bowl XLVII Halftime Show performer with the caption: "THIS IS WHO I'M LOOKING AT RIGHT NOW! JAY Z AND BEYONCE #BLESSED TO BE HERE." The photo and tweet were deleted after fans got a little crazy (besides, they probably want to keep this project as under wraps as possible), but this being the internet, stuff just kind of lives forever. Given what we know thus far, we can say that maaaaybe Jay-Z is on this album, DEFINITELY soulful crooner Miguel is on the album, and if we cross our fingers real hard, Blue Ivy will be featured on the album?! Can't blame us for wishing. Why can't 2013 get here already?!?!

  • Ke$ha, Wiz Khalifa Release Albums; 'GRAMMY Nominations Concert Live!!' Airs Wednesday With Taylor Swift, Fun. + More, Nominations Announced

Welcome to Buzzworthy's "The Week In Pop," where we round up new album releases, talk show musical guests, and TV performances by your favorite pop stars and more (so you don't have to).

This week, Ke$ha drops her sophomore album, Warrior, and swings by "Conan" on Tuesday; and Wiz Khalifa releases album number two, O.N.I.F.C. Meanwhile, two live albums street: Blur culls a two-CD live set from their Olympic Closing Ceremony concert with Parklive, and Gavin DeGraw's Sweeter Live reprises new and earlier hits during a show from his summer tour. It's a hot week on TV as well: sexy models and performances steam up TV screens on Tuesday when "Victoria's Secret Fashion Show" airs on CBS, featuring Rihanna, Justin Bieber, and Bruno Mars. Plus, the GRAMMYs announce their 2013 nominations during Wednesday's "GRAMMY Nominations Concert Live!! -- Countdown to Music's Biggest Night" on CBS. The lineup includes The Who, Ne-Yo, fun., Maroon 5, and more, with co-hosts Taylor Swift and LL Cool J.

    NEW ALBUM RELEASES

+ Ke$haWarrior: Ke$ha expands beyond her brash-trash, club-party-loving style, and she's better for it. There's less auto-tune in places ("Wonderland"), and more genre blending: her EDM-tipped pop wraps around rock, punk, and rap influences. Add in her humorous lyrics, and she can conjure smiles and blushing as much as dancing, like with "Thinking of You." Also, watch her sexy, Illuminati-hinting "Die Young" video, and listen to "C'Mon." Punk icon Iggy Pop stops in for the revving, funny "Dirty Love," and The Strokes' Julian Casablancas and Fabrizio Moretti guest on "Only Wanna Dance."

+ Wiz Khalifa, O.N.I.F.C.: Wiz Khalifa has a lot to be excited about: he's about to be a dad and a hubby (Wiz plans to marry Amber Rose before their baby's born), and he also drops his sophomore set, O.N.I.F.C., which stands for "One Night In First Class." Hear the NSFW, pensive "Remember You" featuring The Weeknd and listen to the NSFW, laidback, and herb-worshipping "The Bluff" with Cam'ron. Also check out his video for "It's Nothin'" featuring 2 Chainz where they celebrate a decadent lifestyle like "it's nothing" and for his summer party jam, "Work Hard, Play Hard."

+ BlurParklive Deluxe Edition: While MP3s of Blur's epic Olympics Closing Ceremony concert performance in London's Hyde Park were released after their show in August, a physical 4-disc edition with DVD is just becoming available. In addition to housing fan favorites such as their megahit "Song 2," the box set includes "Under The Westway," which is a newly penned song made specifically for their post-Olympics appearance that Blur premiered via Twitter from a London rooftop.

Check out more new album releases, upcoming TV appearances, and performances after the jump.

+ Gavin DeGrawSweeter Live: This live CD was recorded during Gavin's concert over the summer at California's Antelope Valley Fairgrounds. The set spans material throughout his career and includes hits from his 2003 Chariot debut like "I Don't Want To Be," "Chariot," and "Follow Through." It also comprises new material from last year's Sweeter, such as the title track and "Not Over You."

  • New Song: Goldroom Featuring SLL, 'Sweetness Alive'

Goldroom is back with a sweet new dance track.

After diving through a teenage summer in chill-out anthem "Fifteen," L.A. producer Goldroom is ready to kick things up a notch. New single "Sweetness Alive" hands the vocals over to a pair of female singers, the breezy twins of SLL (formerly Saint Lou Lou), who bring us on an EDM romp. The buoyant EDM track bounces instead of floating, driven by funky synth pulses and a bass line grooving just ahead of the steady 4/4 drums. The dance track leaves no room for a breather, dropping parts in and out like sprinters passing batons -- er, excuse, us, disco sticks.

Listen to Goldroom featuring SLL's "Sweetness Alive" after the jump.

"Set us free/ we're dancing in the fields of delight/ it's all so bright," SLL sing, and you can practically see the disco ball shimmering. The track doesn't name its vision of paradise -- Ibiza? Miami? -- so you'll have to use your imagination. "Close your eyes and let this take you somewhere nicer," Goldroom's Josh Legg urges in the track's SoundCloud liner notes. We're already there, dude.

Goldroom's "Angeles" EP dropped earlier this year, with the producer keeping busy with a handful of mixes and the occasional new track. "Sweetness Alive" is already an online hit, bowing in the Hype Machine's top 15 this week -- can't wait to hear it everywhere.

  • The Buzz On: Baker

Meet our newest pop obsession: Baker.

While plenty of pop singers can also call themselves songwriters, how many of them qualify as bona fide classical cellists? Let us rephrase: How many pop singers are classical cellists who went to Harvard? Yeah, probably not too many. That brings us to Baker -- the Harvard-educated, classical cellist-turned FABULOUS pop singer who is currently burning up YouTube with his viral hit "Not Gonna Wait."

Find out more about Baker after the jump.

Earning well over four million YouTube hits, we are POSITIVE that if it hasn't already, "Not Gonna Wait" will find its home in da club, as well as on every pop radio station ever. As for the track's video, Baker is seen strutting around NYC (he spends a lot of time prowling around on the High Line and staring longingly out a high rise window -- not bad scenery at ALL) looking smokin' hot and singing his heart out. Fun fact: Baker wore an IRL pajama top for most of the video because he wanted to be comfortable! A man after our own hearts...

As far as Baker's upcoming album is concerned, dude is working with a slew of production talent including Young Boyz (who also did "Collide" for Leona Lewis) and Eric Sanicola from RedOne (he helped produce Cher Lloyd's album!). Not only that, but Baker co-writes with Damon Sharpe (he's written for Jennifer Lopez and Kylie Minogue, among others). As for Baker himself, the Manhattan native channels a variety of musical influences -- we're seeing a little bit of David Bowie-cool swagger with the come hither pop sensuality of Enrique Iglesias, or more currently, Asher Monroe. A rare combo, we know, but Baker 100% pulls it off.

Baker's upcoming debut album is set to drop in Spring 2013, and will also include "Not Gonna Wait" as well as another of Baker's singles, "Convince Me."

  • Rihanna, One Direction, Adam Lambert Fans, Get Ready For A Fan Army Face-Off On 'The Big And Best Of 2012' Livestream: PLUS 12 Reasons To Watch!

Fan Armies GET READY, because we're gonna appoint the BEST FAN ARMY of 2012!

Okay guys, we need to take a look around for a second -- is it SERIOUSLY December right now? How did that happen? I guess it makes some sense, because so much has happened this year: so many break-ups, so many hook-ups, so many nearly n00d Instagrams, SO much fandamonium. (Thank GOD for Twitter, because where else could we obsess about One Direction and Bieber and Gaga and Rihanna and everyone else all day?)

But in case you were too busy Tweeting about Demi Lovato and Adam Lambert this year, we're going take a look back and celebrate the year in music and pop culture that was 2012, AND we're going to be crowning one superstar's fans the title of Best Fan Army. It all goes down on a very special livestream called "The Big & Best of 2012: A Year End Celebration Presented by T-Mobile," and it's all happening on Wednesday, Dec. 12. Which also happens to be 12/12/12 at 12 p.m. E.T.!

There are more than a few important reasons to tune in, ESPECIALLY if you live and breathe by the code of a fan army, and you probably do if you're reading this.

See how you can join the competition to become the Best Fan Army, and get 12 VERY GOOD reasons to watch "The Big & Best Of 2012" livestream on 12/12/12 at 12pm E.T.!

1.) "LAST FANS STANDING: THE BEST FANS OF THE YEAR'" WILL PROVE WHICH SUPERSTAR HAS THE BEST FAN ARMY! Fan armies, this is what we were talking about! We're talking to Katy Perry's Katycats, Rihanna's Rihanna Navy, Lady Gaga's Little Monsters, The Wanted's TWFanmily, Taylor Swift's Swifties, Selena Gomez's Selenators, One Direction's Directioners, Justin Bieber's Beliebers, Nicki Minaj's Barbz, Adam Lambert's Glamberts, Bruno Mars' Hooligans, Demi Lovato's Lovatics, Chris Brown's Team Breezy as well as a handful others. We are going to prove which fans are the best in a social media challenge to declare once and for all which fan army is the most intense. So keep your eyes directed here to learn how to represent your crew!

2.) CARLY! RAE! JEPSEN! Carly Rae Jepsen who had the breakout year to end all breakout years, will be there to reveal her top five moments of the year. Certainly we have an idea of what one of them HAS to be: splitting Pop Tarts with Austin Mahone and Boys Like Girls!

3.) GRACE POTTER WILL BE PERFORMING, THIS TIME WITHOUT HELIUM! Grace Potter, when she's not performing on Big Morning Buzz or singing covers with helium at the OMAs, is an amazing artist who will be performing on "The Big & Best of 2012!"

4.) METRIC WILL BE PERFORMING, SO YOU CAN GET A "DIVAS LIVE" PREVIEW! Metric, who were recently added to the already-loaded bill at "Divas Live," will also be performing for the entire world in this livestream. No word on whether or not their set will be performed underwater.

5.) ALT-J WILL PERFORM! Mercury Prize-winning Alt-J will premiere their MTV Hive "Live In Boston" performance. So get ready to pick your brain up off the floor.

Get even more reasons to watch "The Big & Best Of 2012" livestream on 12/12/12 at 12pm E.T. after the jump!

6.) THOMPSON SQUARE AND FIRST AID KIT BOTH WILL PERFORM LIVE! Country/folk Thompson Square and First Aid Kit, both will help us celebrate the year that was 2012, but in an "acoustic/downhome" sort of way and not like the "super embarrassing, don't tag me on Facebook" kind of way.

7.) DUSTIN LYNCH IS PERFORMING A SURPRISE DUET! Seriously, it's like a mystery flavor of ice cream, but it's a country duet with Dustin Lynch, and the mystery is probably a superstar that will blow us away. Can't wait for this!

8.) SWAY ALL DAY! MTV News' Sway Calloway, VH1's Carrie Keagan and CMT's Kourtney Hansen will be broadcasting live from MTV's famous Times Square studio! Tune in to see which hat he'll wear!

9.) OUR FRIENDS FROM MTV2'S "GUY CODE" ARE PARTICIPATING IN A SCAVENGER HUNT IN TIMES SQUARE! Damien Lemon, Andrew Schultz, and Melanie Iglesias from MTV2's "Guy Code" will be running around frantically in New York's busiest cross-sections, probably making a fool of themselves, all for your entertainment.

10.) THE BEST MUSIC AND POP CULTURE MOMENTS OF THE YEAR ALL OVER AGAIN! Remember the crazy moments from the VMAs? When you found out that Beyonce and Adele's babies were born? Rihanna's allergies to clothing? There will be trained experts (AKA Comedy Central's "The Colbert Report," VH1's "Big Morning Buzz Live" and "You Oughta Know," MTV News' "RapFix Live" and "After Hours," MTV Hive's "Live in Boston,"  CMT's "Live in Nashville," "Live@CMT," and "Concrete Country," oh and us too) to help jog your memory, y'know, just in case you forgot.

11.) MOAR SURPRISE GUESTS! We could tell you who, but then it wouldn't be a surprise.

12.) YOU'LL HAVE SOMETHING TO TALK ABOUT OVER WINTER BREAK! The first few days off are GREAT. You sleep in, eat whachoo want, watch TV, maybe catch up on all those books you said you already read. But then it starts to dawn on you: you're bored and probably have nothing to talk about. Well, we guarantee if you watch eight hours of a livestream recapping 2012, you'll have something interesting to say! Much better than "How's the weather?"

Big & Best of 2012: A Year End Celebration Presented by T-Mobile goes LIVE at 12pm on 12/12/12. Watch at www.bigandbestof2012.com for 8 hours of LIVE performances by Grace Potter, Metric, Alt-J, Thompson Square, First Aid Kit, and Dustin Lynch; surprise guest appearances, prize giveaways, special editions of Rapfix Live, Big Morning Buzz Live, MTV News After Hours, You Oughta Know and much more!!

  • Harry Styles And Taylor Swift Take A Romantic Stroll In NYC, Which Totally Means Haylor Is ON! (PHOTOS)

    Haylor is ON! Rejoice!

After weeks of speculation, we can now pretty much confirm that a budding romance between Taylor Swift and One Direction's Harry Styles (otherwise known as HAYLOR) is ON! Because if a stroll through NYC's famed Central Park Zoo doesn't read "ROMANCE," we're not sure what does. (Fine, the only way their date could have been more romantic is if they'd been on a horse and carriage ride, but they've gotta keep a low profile. We get it.)

See more photos of Taylor Swift and Harry Styles after the jump.

In all seriousness though, you can totally tell by the giant smiles on their faces/the ridiculously blatant puppy dog eyes that something is a brewin' and it's definitely not coffee (ba dum ching!). On one hand, we're all about this new relationship for Taylor -- Harry's cute, won't be thrown by her fame, and HELLO THE ACCENT. On the other hand, the dude's only 18 years old and a known player, so how long can this whole thing really last? Whatever -- by now you know the drill: Haylor will date, they'll break up, Harry will rebound with some hot older pop star (he's rumored to like slightly older ladies), and Taylor Swift will write a song about it that will boost both her and One Direction's album sales significantly. So really, everyone wins!

    GAZING!

  • Star Spotting: Kevin And Danielle Jonas Take The Cutest Christmas Photo The World's Ever Seen (PHOTO)

Please gaze upon the most perfect holiday photo ever taken in the history of holiday photos.

Um, can anyone say "picture-perfect holiday card"? Although they probably didn't intend to, Kevin Jonas and his wifey Danielle Jonas may have accidentally taken the most quintessentially holiday photo EVER. "But it's just a couple in front a Christmas tree," you say. WRONG! Look closely... it's sooo much more than that.

First, it's Kevin and Danielle Jonas, who (as a unit) are definitely more attractive than your average run-of-the-mill couple. (Sorry, normal couples worldwide, but you know it's true.) Second, Danielle is rocking a scarf (because what holiday card is complete without one gratuitous piece of winter wear?). Lastly, the base of the Christmas tree is surrounded by Christmastime's signature flower, the poinsettia, and the tree is so meticulously covered in ornaments that we actually think it's possible the underbelly is plastic and was imported from a prop warehouse. Oh, and sorry to be blunt with this one, but neither Kevin or Danielle have runny, gross noses. Because you and I both know that the majority of "look at us standing in front of this gorgeous tree in the depths of winter!" photos include the inevitable red and runny nose. (Sure, it looks like Kev and Danielle are in California, otherwise known as the state where everyone stays healthy and beautiful all year round, but the rest of the world doesn't have to know that.)

So, congrats, my friends! Ten bucks says that Kev and Danielle make this the cover of their annual Christmas card. Let us know if you need our address!
