- MTV PUSH Artist Of The Week: Dev
She's an MC, she's a vocalist, she's a mom and she's just a really cool lady. California native Dev (born Devin Tailes) is kind of hard to define, and we're pretty sure that's the way she likes it. You already know her voice -- Far East Movement's 2010 mega smash "Like A G6" samples Dev's "Booty Bounce." She's the reason y'all felt so fly sippin' your sizzurp that summer. Respect.
But this gal ain't stopping at one successful sample -- after her first official single "Bass Down Low" had a strong showing on the Billboard Hot 100 chart after its November 2010 release, Dev released her debut album, The Night The Sun Came Up, in the U.K. in 2011. But 2012 marks the U.S. release (March 27 to be specific) -- fans will recognize the car bumpin' "In My Trunk" and the sparse, downtempo "Take Her From You."
We spent some time with Dev during her mtvU Woodies Awards Festival performance recently, and she gave Snooki some great mom-to-be advice. Now we've got more video interviews with the "Kiss My Lips" singer, and she's opening up about her career, her "sensitive side" and her musical friends, who include Enrique Iglesias (her costar in her upcoming video "Naked") and Timbaland, who Dev had a great time with in the studio: "The vibe was just really cool, and it wasn't anything too weird or awkward." Now you know: Timbaland -- not a weirdo.

Selena Gomez got arrested on the set of 'Spring Breakers'!
We've been with Selena Gomez almost every step of the way since she's been filming her movie about a bunch of college girls gone wild (not in that way), "Spring Breakers." So of course she'd update us on the best part -- the arrest scene! Selena uploaded this Instagram photo to her Twitter with the caption, "Lol I'm so lame. Having way too much getting arrested." I guess that could technically mean that she could have really been arrested, but come on. Not with that face -- there's not a cop in the world who wouldn't let her off.
If I can soapbox it for one minute: Let's just take a moment to all collectively thank the beauty and splendor that is Instagram. The iPhone app that turns all of our lame photos into masterpieces is also a celeb favorite, and that makes me feel really good. Sure, it's probably further exacerbating my fellow millennials' already inherent superiority complexes, but who cares! Everyone looks so pretty!

Most people might not think spending $2,999 to go to Jamaica to hang out with Hanson for a week is a wise investment, but those people aren't me and that might not be their lifelong dream. Too bad for them, more "Can you help me with this suntan lotion?" for this gal.
The brothers Hanson recently announced that they needed a vacay (get in line). Unlike you or I browsing Priceline unrequited for hours on end, they decided to go to Jamaica and invited all of their fans. To mark their 20th year as a band, the dudes are heading to the Breezes Grand Resort in Negril, Jamaica, for five days of fun in the sun. Look forward to three performances from the band and two additional performances from "artist friends" Hanson has invited to join the festivities. Also, the following things are listed on their site, so we know they have to happen or I'm seeking litigation:

+ Learn to cook Jamaican food with Taylor
+ Tie-Dye Session with ZacA TIE-DYE SESSION WITH ZAC!!!!!!!!!! Hanson's "Back To The Island" vacation extravaganza takes place in January 2013 and is only available to Hanson fan club members. Tickets are on sale now and oh, payment plans are available. (I'm talking to you, Mom and Dad.)

Bonus round for all Lovatics! Allow us to present you with "Aftershock," a new Demi Lovato track that you're definitely going to wish was included on the U.S. release of her album. Sucks for us, but "Aftershock" was only included as a bonus track on the Japanese deluxe version of Unbroken. Um, hello, discrimination -- American fans would clearly die for this song, too!
"Aftershock" is an uptempo, raucous dance song laden with sugary pop synths and thick beats. In the record, Demi sings of her new man and how insanely crazy he makes her: "Lovestruck/ My heart is overheating and it won't stop/ I try to slow the beating, but you're so hot/ The tremors keep repeating and I tell myself keep breathing/ But I'm caught in your aftershock." Against the driving beat, Demi goes in hard on the hook and her booming vocals once again secure her spot at the top of the game.

We're not trying to be greedy here or anything, but would it kill Team Lovato to allow the American Lovatics to have a listen to Demi's hidden gems? I mean, what's a girl gotta do -- fly a million hours to Japan to get her hands on the full Demi catalog? Anyone up for an impromptu vacay? My treat.

Justin Bieber shares a teaser of 'Boyfriend.'
There are only a few monumental firsts that are truly unforgettable in life: Your first kiss, your first date and the first time you hear a short taste of Justin Bieber's much-anticipated new single, "Boyfriend," from his forthcoming Believe album. Honestly, we're not even sure how the internet is still standing after he shared the 13-second snippet during a recent visit to the "Ellen" show.

After Justin revealed his hunky cover art for "Boyfriend," we were definitely expecting an equally evolved, grown-up sound, and the preview doesn't disappoint. The teaser still leaves the majority of the tune (coproduced by Mike Posner) a mystery, but what we can gather from the minimal thumps and beats is that Bieber is leaning toward some serious hip-hop inspiration -- and (drumroll, please!) we got lyrics! "I could be a gentlemen/ If I was your boyfriend, I'd never let you go."
The full "Boyfriend" single drops Monday so we have to wait the entire weekend to hear it, which will officially make the next two the longest days of our lives. But until then, you know what to do -- repeat this ish over and over and over and over...

Posing for the April issue of GQ magazine, in addition to giving us the "You and I both know that I just hooked up with a hot model" gaze, Mr. Worldwide poses in a (perhaps too tight) white suit while chilling spread eagle on the ledge of a pool. Normal. Also, what powerful ab muscles he must have to be able to support himself in that position! You been working out, dawg?

Inside the spread (hahaha) Pitbull opens up (hahaha again) to the mag about being labeled a sell out: "People say I switched? Maybe I outgrew you. I look at it as an evolution, and setting the path. I'm showing you where to go." Haters to the left. Pit is also candid about his fame and how he views it as a business venture: "Look, Pitbull is a product. Don't get it f***ed up -- I'm a businessman. This industry is 90 percent business, 10 percent talent. It's the people who think they're talented, that their s*** don't stink, who get left behind." Pitbull has tons of other worthwhile things to say in the interview, but we're thinking a lot of readers might just stop at this photo.

Remember Willa Ford? Yeah, us too, in a totally distant way. Not in the kind of way where we still put "I Wanna Be Bad" on every single party playlist we make, then laugh about it in a performance of practiced nonchalance and say things like, "Oh my God, you guys! This song is such a guilty pleasure!" while earnestly enjoying it. And certainly not in the kind of way where we only know the holiday season has truly arrived when we put on her epic Yuletide classic, "Santa Baby (Gimme Gimme Gimme)" to booty-pop with some eggnog. Not like that at all.
Point is, Willa Ford is back! The pop chanteuse is enjoying a renaissance with the upcoming premiere of her new series for Starz, Magic City, and on the red carpet for the show's premiere in El Lay the other night she looks... Well, she doesn't look like Willa Ford anymore! At least, not the Willa Ford we remember. She looks all grown up, in an oh-so-classy Vivienne Westwood navy blue dress and YSL pumps, and luxe auburn tresses. (Ooh, you fancy, huh?) But most of all, she looks like she wants to be bad. And you know what? She's pulling it off! Props to you, Willa.
Does Willa Ford look anything like Willa Ford? No! No, she does not. Does she look good? Totally! Did ya understand THAT, haters? (Note: "Did Ya Understand That" was Willa's 2001 flawless/non-charting second single. If you missed that reference, shame on you.)

Rihanna is a geisha on the set of the 'Princess Of China' video.
I'll be honest. I've attempted to pull off the geisha look before. But not everyone can. And really, probably not everyone should. (Guess my mom was right -- it just doesn't work with my pasty Jewish coloring.) Also, it's reductive.
Still, Rihanna's looking fierce on the video set of her Coldplay collaboration "Princess Of China." Along with a shot of her flipping fans the bird while wearing what must be the largest fake gold nail in existence (it's under that smiley face), Ri tweeted: "Gangsta goth geisha #thuglife #princessofchina." In addition to that insane nail situation, Ri shows off some killer leg and sports at least two pairs of chopsticks in her hair. In case one wasn't enough! And some severe eyeliner.

Rihanna shared two more pics from the shoot -- a cool smoking photo (EVEN THOUGH SMOKING IS NOT COOL AT ALL) and a very "my makeup is fly" shot.
So basically, in the span of one day, Rihanna successfully became a thugged-out geisha. What'll she think of next?

The 26-year-old has been nominated for a million bajillion awards and most recently, he spent one lucky night at the Playboy Mansion celebrating his cover of the magazine. Bruno is only the 10th man to appear on the magazine's cover, and we're pretty sure he's A-OK with that elite title.
Other celebs on hand for the festivities included Cameron Diaz, Coldplay's Chris Martin, and um, BRITNEY EFFING SPEARS. We're guessing guests played rousing games of Parcheesi while decadent cheese platters made the rounds. JK. We're actually guessing that everyone within a 5-mile radius of that party had to sign serious nondisclosure agreements.
Shout-out to my man Hugh Dawg (my affectionate title for Hugh Hefner). Dude is like 147 years old and doesn't look a day over 70. Any guesses on what his secret is? (Hint: See photo 2.)
