- 'Bohemian Rhapsody' Viral Video: A Historical Comparison
by Fallon Prinzivalli
There are few songs more iconic than Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody." It's one of those songs you can sing in the shower when you think no one's home or yell with friends at a bar on Friday night.
Apparently, it's also a great song to belt in the back of a cop car after being arrested for a DUI. At least, that's what Canadian Robert Wilkinson thought. A YouTube video of the incident recently went viral, but the song isn't a stranger to cars. Remember Wayne's World? (Who are we kidding, how could you forget?) Wayne and Garth also sing a hilarious rendition of the song while driving down the street.
So, who sang it better and which will be remembered? Or should everyone stick to the original Queen version from now on? Watch them after the jump and let us know which you think is the most classic rendition.
Robert Wilkinson
While we're appalled at Wilkinson's actions, the video did get some laughter from us. Because he's intoxicated his words are slurred and his voice is pitchy – it's funny now, but like most viral videos, it might die off with the next YouTube sensation.Wayne's World
This scene no doubt introduced a lot of the movie's fans to the song. Mike Myers' facial expressions are hilarious and absolutely perfect as he imitates the band. The scene is classic and, like the movie, will always stick with movie lovers.Queen
No one can sing it better than the originals. This will be the version that's always remembered, because while you may remember the song from "Wayne's World," there's simply no beating Freddie Mercury.Which do you think is the classic version? Tell us in the comments or on Twitter!
Переслать - 'Wrath Of The Titans,' 'Mirror Mirror,' And More: Double Feature Friday!
If one movie is never enough for you and you're looking for a flick to get you in the mood for this week's new release, Double Feature Friday is here to help. Every week we break down the new releases and pair them with older movies that you should catch before heading out to the theater. Or just skip the new movie and check out the classic we recommend.
"Wrath of the Titans" & "Carlos"
In recasting several of the supporting characters from "Clash of the Titans," "Wrath" picked up an exciting new Ares in Édgar Ramírez. It may not be a name you know now, but you will soon enough when he stars in Kathryn Bigelow's tentatively-titled Osama bin Laden thriller, "Zero Dark Thirty," with every other hot actor currently working. Ramírez had a minor role in "The Bourne Ultimatum," but his star-making turn came in the three-part miniseries "Carlos," where he plays one of the most notorious terrorists of all time. It's an impressive piece of work that leaves little doubt that Ramírez is the real deal and a soon-to-be star.
"Mirror Mirror" & "The Fall"
Before Tarsem Singh was directing Julia Roberts as the evil queen and even before he had Henry Cavill battling Mickey Rourke in sandals, the visionary director spent years and much of his own money to fund his passion project, "The Fall." The visually stunning film tells the story of a young girl listening to a story. When the focus of the movie switches to the fantasy land, the audience experiences everything as the young girl does. Not everything makes sense, and there are clear points where she misunderstands what the narrator is actually telling her. As a one-film justification for owning a Blu-ray player, "The Fall" works not only as a one-of-a-kind visual masterpiece, but also an endearing tale about why we like stories—and movies for the matter—so much."Intruders" & "28 Weeks Later"
When it was announced that Danny Boyle's indie-cred zombie flick, "28 Days Later," was to get a sequel called (what else?) "28 Weeks Later," it may have been easy to fear the worst. Instead of a pointless cash-in, director Juan Carlos Fresnadillo delivered on bringing viewers back to the world of post-zombie apocalypse London and expanding upon the vision created by Boyle. Looking back at "28 Weeks Later" is also a fun way of seeing what a difference 5 years can make in the life of an actor. You might be surprised to learn that some of the supporting players in "28 Weeks Later" include Jeremy Renner, Rose Byrne and Idris Elba. As Fresnadillo's follow-up to his zombie sequel, "Intruders" promises the same sense of dread and family-endangering horrors."Goon" & "Slap Shot"
It takes a hockey movie coming out in theaters to realize that there aren't a lot of hockey movie in theaters these days. With the release of the surprisingly charming "Goon," I suggest you go back to look at perhaps the greatest hockey movie of them all, "Slap Shot." Paul Newman plays a burnt-out pro, who comes to play and coach a minor league hockey team. He has to deal with unruly crowds, a difficult owner and a set of three brothers who want to do little else but fight, similar to Seann William Scott's character in "Goon."What are you watching this weekend? Переслать - War Of The Five Kings: Stannis Baratheon
Joffrey Baratheon. Robb Stark. Balon Greyjoy. Renly Baratheon. Who are we missing in the War of the Five Kings? Well, in my opinion, we're missing the big one: the new guy on the street, the man some have called Azhor Azhai Reborn. The final king to enter the ring, ladies and gentlemen, is...
Know Your King
Stannis Baratheon, the last player in the War of the Five Kings, is perhaps the most dangerous of them all. No, he doesn't behead lords for the fun of it, nor does he own a direwolf. But he does have the red woman -- and that is more than enough.Where's He From?
Baratheon keeps his home on Dragonstone, which once belonged to the virtually extinct House Targaryen. Dragonstone, a relatively small and secluded island just east of Westeros, is well within striking distance of King's Landing, a fact that's not lost on Stannis. The King's Court
Stannis is surrounded by a diverse group of companions. Maester Cressen, the man who raised him, remains in Stannis' service on Dragonstone. Also advising the wouldbe king is Davos Seaworth, a former smuggler turned knight in Stannis' employ. Finally, there is Melisandre, the red priestess of Asshai. She believes Stannis to be an ancient hero born again anew, one who will lead the Seven Kingdoms with the conviction of the Lord of the Light. It's a notion that does not sit well with Cressen or Davos, even as Stannis becomes an increasingly more devout worshiper of Melisandre's strange religion. What Does He Do?
Anything he can to win the Iron Throne, which he believes is his by rights. That means spreading the word far and wide that Joffrey is a product of Lannister incest and not a true born Baratheon, confronting his very own brother on the battlefield, and relying on dark magic to aid his cause. In essence, there's very little that Stannis won't do in pursuit of the crown.Do We Like Him?
That's... complicated. Stannis is an interesting one: not as outright loathsome as Joffrey but certainly not someone you'd want to have a beer with. Stannis, more than anything, is fascinating. As a character, I think he's one of the finest in George R.R. Martin's entire saga. But that doesn't mean he's a nice guy... far from it, in fact. What do you think of Stannis Baratheon? Переслать - Seann William Scott Happy To Play 'Three Dimensional Character' In 'Goon'
Seann William Scott knows what type of character he usually plays. He broke out thanks to the antics of a fast-talking sex maniac, Steve Stifler from the "American Pie" movies, and ended up playing similar characters throughout his career.
The Seann William Scott of "Goon," however, is an entirely different monster, a gentle one. Doug Glatt is good at one thing: kicking the crap out of guys. One thing Doug is not good at is hockey. Despite that combination, the owner of a local Canadian hockey club recruits Doug to save a dying team.
MTV News talked with Scott and his co-star and the film's co-writer Jay Baruchel about the character Doug and why there aren't many hockey movies.
For Doug, Scott simply enjoyed the chance to play a character that had more to him than Stifler. "It was just an awesome experience because it was so well-written, such a huge challenge for me to play a three dimensional character for once," Scott said. "It was much more comforting and enjoyable to play a guy who's nice and a good guy. I think it was easier for me to do that than to play a total jackass."
Baruchel wrote Doug and the film with a very particular viewer in mind. As a young Canadian hockey fan, Baruchel wanted a movie for enthusiasts like himself.
"[Hockey] is part of the reason I get up in the morning. It's my favorite sport. It's my religion," Baruchel said. "The marketplace is fairly barren when it comes to hockey flicks. I think there been precious few good ones for most of my life. It was just our chance to give Canadian kids a movie I feel like they've been waiting for, for a long time. Whoever digs this movie, we want them to connect to it, but we made it with a very specific group of people in mind."

Переслать - Five Reasons To See 'Wrath Of The Titans'
Despite some negative reviews for the original, "Clash of the Titans," the "Wrath of the Titans" is upon us (in 3D, no less) to follow-up its $500 million predecessor.
For the second adventure of Sam Worthington's Perseus, daddy Zeus comes a-callin' once again to ask his demi-god son to, you know, save all of mankind…again. Though no one releases the Kraken, there are plenty of Greek monsters to go around.
Here are our five reasons to check out "Wrath of the Titans" this weekend.
Sam Worthington
Worthington has occupied a weird space within the realm of action stars. He led "Avatar" onto become the biggest movie of all time, but essentially no one claimed for that success other than James Cameron. Three years later, Worthington has starred in a handful of actioners and a drama or two, but despite consistently good performances, critics and audiences seem lukewarm to the Aussie. In "Wrath," he does the best he can with Perseus; he's always watchable and is easily the strongest element of the main quest storyline. With the right character, Worthington could conceivably hoist himself into the upper tier of action stars.Liam Neeson and Ralph Fiennes
It was easy to dismiss Liam Neeson's and Ralph Fiennes' work in "Clash" as a Cash-in of the Titans, but here they are, back again. Despite their history as on-screen nemeses, the two actors consider each other best friends and brothers, and it shows on screen. Both grown men look like they could not be having more fun hamming it up in false beards and long hair with their best bud.Bill Nighy
It doesn't take working with his best friend for Bill Nighy to squeeze every bit of fun out of a ridiculous character. As Hephaestus, the fallen god, Nighy literally spends most of his on-screen time yelling at an owl made of metal. The performance is odd and fun, and one that really adds a lot of spice to the otherwise gritty world. The Creatures
One of the benefits of having so much of the focus set on the action is all the great monsters you're sure to encounter. There's the chimera, the cyclops, and two dudes that have to share a set of legs. It all leads to the big daddy of them all, Kronos, Perseus' granpappy, who is literally a mountain-sized monster made of lava. Think about that: a mountain-sized monster made of lava. It's Brain-Off Fun
One of the greatest strengths of "Wrath of the Titans" is also one of its biggest problems. The film demands almost nothing of the audience. You don't need to pay very close attention or really care about things happening on the screen, and you will get the full effect of the film. The tight 100-minute run time doesn't follow characters as they evolve and grow throughout the story. It transports them from monster to monster to explosion as the audience looks at the screen. Depending on what you want from your Greek mythology action movies, this will ultimately decide whether you like "Wrath" or not.Are you going to see "Wrath of the Titans" this weekend? Переслать - Five Action Heroes Justin Bieber Should Punk
by Fallon Prinzivalli
Much to every celebrity's chagrin, "Punk'd" is back. This time around Hollywood's A-listers are turning on each other as Ashton Kutcher relinquishes his role as Prank King to a different celeb every week. Justin Bieber hosted last night's premiere bringing Taylor Swift to tears when she thought she destroyed a wedding, and subsequently, a relationship.
The reactions to the pranks are priceless and that sparked our imagination. What if Bieber had punk'd a few action heroes on last night's episode? Due to the grandeur of their actions, there's no doubt their reactions would greatly surpass celebs. Continue after the jump for our picks of heroes Bieber could give the "Punk'd" treatment to in the future!
Indiana Jones
Bieber should make Indy think he blew up the American Museum of Natural History. He's one fearless hero, but the professor and lover of artifacts in him would be completely mortified. There's a good chance he'd also be reduced to tears.Neo from 'The Matrix'
Hack the hacker — that's what Bieber should do. Neo goes from a computer hacker to a manipulator of the world around him. What would he do if he thought he manipulated the world to the point of an apocalypse? We're not exactly sure how the Biebs would accomplish this prank, but he has manipulated the hearts of millions of girls so we know he'll come up with something.Terminator
The robotic soldier initially sent to destroy the human race ends up returning in the second film as a hero. The latter version of the Terminator is the one JB would have to prank, otherwise he may not make it past the opening credits of the show (hasta la vista, baby?). Could you imagine the Terminator attempting to round up escaped zoo animals or something? We're laughing just thinking about it.Selene from 'Underworld'
Jokes are completely foreign to the leather-clad vampire. In a constant fight for her life — first from lycans, then her own kind, then humans and back to lycans — we can barely remember seeing her crack a smile. Being on "Punk'd" might loosen her up a bit. Well, that, or she'll kill everyone in sight before they're able to reveal to her that she's on MTV. Maybe we need to rethink this pick...Chunk from 'The Goonies'
Chunk may not come to mind when you think of action heroes, but he's certainly earned his right to the title. When the Goonies were at the mercy of the Fratelli's, Chunk showed up with Sloth to not only save them but the entire Goon Docks, too. He's extremely gullible, which makes him Biebs' perfect target. JB would have to incorporate food into the prank, since Chunk is constantly eating and can smell ice cream when it's locked in a freezer 20 feet away. It's a unique gift and if you mess with Chunk's food—human body parts, perhaps?—it's bound to get quite the reaction. What action heroes do you think should be featured on "Punk'd?" Переслать - Joel Kinnaman Answers 'Killing' Season Two Questions
Those of us who have spent a considerable amount of time watching various television series over the years understand that there is a basic formula to season finales. You want to excite/satisfy your audience in going out with a bang, but also keep them wanting more so they return for another season. AMC's critically-acclaimed and compelling whodunit "The Killing" succeeded on both counts with its finale last season, but in doing so was met with harsh criticism from fans who did not receive a definitive answer to the show's biggest question: Who killed Rosie Larson?
In knowing how TV networks function, I have to admit that I was much more surprised at the localized outrage from certain fans than I was at the conclusion of the season. Lucky for all of us, there is a brand new season upon us and while I'd be happy to drone on about why I'll definitely be tuning into the second season premiere this Sunday, April 1 at 8pm ET/PT, I thought you might appreciate hearing some expert teasery from an insider source: star Joel Kinnaman. Minor spoilers ahead for those who still need to power through season one on DVD.
First off, what the heck is going on with Kinnaman's character Stephen Holder? Is he a dirty or clean cop?
"I think that most people's intuition about him is correct," Kinnaman said, adding that he enjoys the character's seemingly moral "grey area."
"I think that most people are not good or bad and the characters that are the most appealing they have that grey area. Sometimes you do bad things for good reasons and sometimes you do good things for bad reasons," he said. "I really love playing him because he's carrying a lot of stuff, he's got a lot of luggage and that's a lot of fun to play. Also, you're going to find out where he stands pretty soon."
The man who will be "RoboCop" was not at liberty to divulge any specifics, only that the development and exploration of Holder's relationship with Sarah Linden is one of his favorite arcs of the season, along with the fact that we will find out who Rosie's killer is.
"You will find out who the killer in the end of the second season. That was the arc from day one and then there was the mismanaged expectations, mostly marketed in a bad way. Nobody could have expected the fury that came out," Kinnaman said about the fans who were upset with the end of the first season. "In one way I found it flattering because people cared so much, but of course that's not the response that you want."
"[Executive Producer] Veena Sud has said the first season was all about questions and the second season is all about answers," Kinnaman continued. "Everything ties together and is part of the solution and that's the big reason why it's going to be exciting to follow the story, even though you're not going to find out the answer to the story until the end. It's a puzzle and all the pieces fit."

Переслать - 'Anchorman 2': What Should Ron Burgundy Do Next?
"Anchorman 2" is officially on the way, and the MTV Movies team is officially way too pumped for the long awaited sequel. We've already run down the cameos we want to see and the long road Ron Burgundy traveled on his way back to the big screen, but our obsession is far from over: until a plotline is announced, it's up to us to develop our own ideas for the "Anchorman" sequel's plot.
Keep reading for the Movies team's ridiculous plot predictions!
» Ryan Rigley: "My pitch: after being fired from CNN World News, Ron and Veronica are reunited with the old Channel 4 news team just in time to cover the launching of the Challenger space shuttle. But this proves to be a task easier said than done as Wes Mantooth and the evening news team are also assigned the story, along with a handful of other rival news teams. With the hopes of getting some exclusive coverage, the Channel 4 news team breaks into mission control and inadvertently causes the Challenger to explode moments after liftoff."
» Brian Phares: "Another spacebound idea: now that Ron Burgundy and Veronica Corningstone have reached the pinnacle of their success as network anchors, there's only one branch of news left to cover: the world. They team up with media mogul Ted Turner who has built a space station as his headquarters for his new world news network. Ron and friends high tail it up to space and uncover an evil alien plot to destroy the world through subliminal messages planted in vagisil commercials. Expect moonwalking, trips to Pleasure Town and male chauvinism galore."
» Kate Callahan: "For me, one of the funniest scenes in 'Anchorman' is the alley fight between the guys at Channel 4 and their competitors around San Diego. Wielding a wooden chair leg, Ron Burgundy faces off against other anchors played by Vince Vaughn, Ben Stiller, Luke Wilson and Tim Robbins. A rematch in the sequel can make for some fun cameos and a chance for Ron to find a stranger household item to use as a weapon."
» Kara Warner: "Completely agreed. The only thing I really want to see in the sequel is another amazing network-on-network street brawl, complete with the 'Como estan, bitches?!?' intro from hilarious, mustacheod cameo man Ben Stiller. Maybe they can get another Spanish-speaking network in there for fun and have Ferrell's buddy Danny McBride along for the ride, too?"
» Joel Hanek: "As someone who has dressed up as Brian Fantana for two Halloweens I can earnestly say that I don't even care what they do – the fact that an 'Anchorman' sequel is actually happening at all is amazing and I've already tried to pre-order tickets for the midnight screening. The only thing I ask is that the original cast comes back and we finally see the News Team assembled once again. I hope they don't cast another female lead because Christina Applegate's Veronica Corningstone is the perfect balance to Ron. One thing I do hope they do is expand the outrageous cameos – I would love to see what Will Arnett, Danny McBride, Bill Hader, Kristen Wiig, or Jonah Hill could do in the Burgandy-verse."

Переслать - Five Reasons To See 'Mirror Mirror'
Okay, I'll admit it, I was a skeptic when I walked into see "Mirror Mirror." As someone firmly standing in the "Snow White and the Huntsman" camp, I was convinced that "Mirror Mirror" was silly and unnecessary, no matter how much I love Tarsem Singh. Boy was I wrong.
"Mirror Mirror" is actually a charming, light-hearted and endearing take on the Snow White fairytale. The trailers -- as many people have said before me -- really do not do the film justice. Now I not only firmly believe that "Mirror Mirror" is a movie for everyone, but I also feel like there could actually be room in 2012 for two equally great Snow White movies. Who would have thought?
If that wasn't enough to convince you that "Mirror Mirror" deserves your time this weekend, I've listed off five more solid reasons after the jump.
The Heroine
"Mirror Mirror" would be nothing if it didn't have a strong Snow White. And strong she is. As she says in the trailer, Snow isn't a girl who needs to have a prince come save the day for her. It helps that Lily Collins gives a fantastic performance as a princess coming into her own. And though Julia Roberts tends to dominate the marketing for this flick, Collins gives as good as she gets in the flick. Considering what a presence Roberts has in the film, that's saying something. The Humor
Ah, the "Snow way!" that started it all. Cast your fears aside: "Mirror Mirror" is actually genuinely funny, and it's hard not to laugh when Julia Roberts and Armie Hammer are playing off one another on the screen. I'll talk about this more later, but Hammer actually ends up being one of the most hilarious elements of the film. And despite the corny Snow White play on words in the trailer, the dwarves are very charming and funny as well. The Look
Singh's signature stamp has always been his gorgeous visual effects, and they can be seen in full force in "Mirror Mirror," albeit with a twist. They're tempered by the fact that this is a kid's fairy tale, and not an adult drama. The landscapes aren't as surreal as they are in "The Fall" and Armie Hammer's abs aren't glistening like they would be in "Immortals," but "Mirror Mirror" definitely has its charm, and fits well into Singh's filmography. The Fairytale
"Snow White" is a story that has been told over and over again, so the big struggle with "Mirror Mirror" was finding a way to make what is old new again. Turns out it wasn't a struggle after all. From the dwarves to the witch's red apple, "Mirror Mirror" takes the familiar elements of the Snow White fairytale and puts its own spin on it. Consider me enchanted.Armie Hammer
No, I'm not just saying this because Hammer is charming enough to make even the most resilient girl swoon. "The Social Network" star is flat out hilarious in "Mirror Mirror," even if he looks a bit silly in the trailers that have been released. Seriously, the man is a bonafide star, and it's got me seriously thrilled to see how he pulls off "The Lone Ranger." His puppy love scene in "Mirror Mirror" is easily one of the funniest things I've seen in theaters since a certain gross-out gag in "21 Jump Street."Are you planning to check out "Mirror Mirror" this weekend?
