- No Joke: 'American Idol' Loses Heejun Han
Resident jokester joined by Hollie Cavanagh and Skylar Laine in bottom three.
By Adam Graham
Heejun Han on "American Idol" Thursday
Photo: FoxThe laughs are over for Heejun Han, as this season's court jester was voted off "American Idol" on Thursday (March 29).
Han, who with his goofball demeanor and off-center sense of humor was criticized heavily for not taking the competition seriously enough, ended up at the bottom of America's votes following Wednesday's performance episode, despite earning a standing ovation from the judges for his performance of Donny Hathaway's "A Song for You." He reprised the song for the judges in an effort to get them to use their one save for the season on him, but the judges let him go.
"Let the record show that you knew this was coming yourself, you saw it come this week," Steven Tyler told him. "Unfortunately after talking, we're gonna have to let you go, man."
Just 24 hours earlier, Tyler had praised Han for turning himself around in the competition, and Jennifer Lopez reaffirmed his talents, telling him, "You didn't make it this far by mistake." Randy Jackson welcomed him back to the competition, telling him, "Finally, the Heejun that we selected came back to us tonight!"
But the 22-year-old from Flushing, New York's fate may have been sealed following his performance of Billy Joel's "My Life" the week prior, which was met by a stinging critique from "Idol" mentor Jimmy Iovine. "He came out and disrespected the entire process. His performance was more like four minutes of a bad Adam Sandler movie that goes straight to DVD," Iovine said, referring to it as a "stunt gone wrong." "At the end of the day, Interscope has to spend a lot of money on somebody who wins this show, and that's not it."
At the time, Han — who landed in second to last place following the performance — defended himself by saying, "I'm not trying to be a star, I'm just really happy where I am."
Han was in the bottom three Thursday with Hollie Cavanagh and Skylar Laine. Laine was sent back to safety first, and was followed by Cavanagh. It was the first time in the bottom three for both Laine and Cavanagh.
Also on the show, Eric Benet came out to surprise DeAndre Brackensick, who performed his song "Sometimes I Cry" on Wednesday's show.
Meanwhile, last year's "Idol" champ Scotty McCreery performed his latest single, "Water Tower Town," and was presented with a platinum sales plaque by Iovine, signifying 1 million sales of his debut album, Clear as Day.
Nicki Minaj appeared and performed "Starships" and made a pitch to do a guest-judging bid on the show. "J. Lo, can you scoot over a little bit?" she asked, to which Lopez replied, "I don't know if there's enough room for both of us up here!"
What did you think of Thursday's "Idol"? Did Heejun Han go home too soon? Let us know in the comments!
Переслать - 'Hunger Games' Fans Have Spoken: Jennifer Lawrence Isn't Too Curvy
'Jennifer Lawrence is the perfect Katniss Everdeen!' one MTV News commenter writes.
By Elizabeth Lancaster
Jennifer Lawrence in "The Hunger Games"
Photo: LionsgateAfter devouring the books and flooding movie theaters, "Hunger Games" fans have become fiercely loyal to the actors who embodied their favorite characters. And those die-hards are not taking kindly to suggestions that Jennifer Lawrence is too curvy to play Katniss Everdeen.
Much of the backlash stems from New York Times film critic Manohla Dargis' review of the film, in which she wrote: "A few years ago Ms. Lawrence might have looked hungry enough to play Katniss, but now, at 21, her seductive, womanly figure makes a bad fit for a dystopian fantasy about a people starved into submission."
On Wednesday, when MTV News checked in with "Hunger Games" experts for their feelings on the subject, many of you took to our comments section and our Twitter to let us know just how much you disagree with Dargis' take on the lead actress.
MTV.com reader DavidB presented this quote from Suzanne Collins' book, in which Katniss describes her own body: "I stand straight, and while I'm thin, I'm strong. The meat and plants from the woods combined with the exertion it took to get them have given me a healthier body than most of those I see around me."
Another commenter, GrantGibbs1, wrote, "Jennifer Lawrence is the perfect Katniss Everdeen! She's not even fat??? First racist comments now weight issues," the commenter added, in reference to the issues some moviegoers have had over Rue being played by a black actress.
For many fans and readers, it's not about accuracy, but respect and admiration for Jennifer Lawrence as an actress, as well as defending young women from the pressures that create body issues. On Twitter, @PromiseKidrauhl told us Lawrence "was perfectly picked to play Katniss," while @valvdg wrote, "As if young women didn't have enough weight issues."
It's not too late to make your voice heard: What do you think about the controversy over Jennifer Lawrence's body?

'He was killed by a terrorist,' Atlanta MC declares on 'RapFix Live,' while Prodigy adds, '[Zimmerman] murdered that kid for no reason.'
By Rob Markman, with reporting by Sway Calloway
Killer Mike on "RapFix Live"
Photo: Natasha Chandel/ MTV NewsSpeculation over what happened the night of February 26 when 17-year-old Trayvon Martin was tragically shot dead continues to run rampant. On Wednesday, police surveillance video emerged showing the gunman, George Zimmerman, in handcuffs. The fact that he wasn't charged with a crime that night and was release has fueled a public outcry for justice.
Among the outraged are rappers Killer Mike and Mobb Deep's Prodigy, who both appeared on Wednesday's "RapFix Live" to discuss Trayvon's death.
Killer Mike called the shooting "an assassination." "He was killed by a terrorist; there is no other way to put it," Mike said, as he and "RapFix" host Sway wore hooded sweatshirts in a symbolic show of support for the teen, who died wearing a similar article of clothing.
Via Skype, Prodigy said, "It's definitely a murder, that dude just murdered him in cold blood. The dude, Zimmerman, I don't know what he thought he was doing, but he murdered that kid for no reason."
It has been reported that Zimmerman called 911 on the night of February 26 after he saw Trayvon, who was wearing hoodie, walking through the Sanford, Florida, gated community where he lived and served as a neighborhood watchman. The police dispatcher instructed Zimmerman not to pursue the teen, but he reportedly ignored those instructions. What happened then is unclear, but when Sanford police arrived on the scene, Trayvon was dead. Zimmerman claimed Trayvon attacked him and he acted in self-defense, and police didn't charge him with a crime.
Critics who have watched the police-surveillance footage said Zimmerman doesn't appear to have injuries consistent with his beating account, but the footage is grainy.
Prodigy believes Sanford police should have immediately charged Zimmerman. "The burden of proof is on the person that's claiming self-defense," he said.
The case has tremendous racial undertones: Zimmerman is a white man of Hispanic origin, and Trayvon was black. Killer Mike said he's particularly concerned with the "Stand Your Ground" law, Florida legislation that allows a person to kill in cases of self-defense. The Atlanta MC believes that young black men should be armed to protect themselves under the confines of the law. "If you live below the Mason-Dixon line, gun laws allow you to arm yourself; you should be armed," Killer Mike urged. "Because we live in a state where we are hunted, we live in a state that allows the conditions of black men to walk around in fear."
Prodigy believes that if Zimmerman isn't charged, similar incidents might occur. "What the police department out there is doing is they're gonna start a trend of people that's just gonna go out there and think they're neighborhood watch or whatever, and they're just gonna clap whoever they feel like clappin'," he said.

'Bless you, Celine, but it does rather haunt me,' the actress admits to MTV News of 'My Heart Will Go On.'
By Fallon Prinzivalli"Like throwing up." That's how Kate Winslet feels when she hears Celine Dion's "My Heart Will Go On," the once-inescapable theme to "Titanic."
"No, I shouldn't say that," Winslet added, thinking through her response before coming to this conclusion: "No, actually, I do feel like throwing up."
Since its release in 1997, the film has stuck with Winslet wherever she goes. It was the movie that helped her sky-rocket to the A-list, after all, and no one is likely to forget Dion's iconic song from "Titanic," set to be re-released in 3-D on April 4.
"I wish I could say, 'Oh listen, everybody! It's the Celine Dion song!' But I don't," Winslet admitted. "I just have to sit there, you know, kind of straight-faced with a massive internal eye roll."
Winslet went on to explain that every time she walks into a bar or a restaurant with a pianist, they never miss an opportunity to start playing the notes. "It's thrilling for people to surprise me with the Celine Dion song," she laughed.
But they not only play the tune for her, they also encourage the Oscar winner to sing it herself. "I did a talk show recently in Italy and they actually had a live pianist who started gently playing the theme song. I was not even gently, rather severely, urged to go and sing it as though I had in fact sung it myself in the first place. It was like, 'No! I'm not going to do that.' They're like, 'Oh no, come on it will be funny.' No, it won't be funny. At all. And I'm not going to."
Unfortunately for the actress, it's not just the theme song that haunts her. Whenever she boards a boat, she's the butt of jokes.
"Honestly, I actually now get onto boats and say, 'No jokes, OK? No jokes. Can we just move on from that? And if you have any jokes, let's just get them out of the way right now. Thank you. Anyone? Jokes, jokes? OK, moving on.' And then they still tell jokes," Winslet said. The most common joke is asking her to head to the front of the boat with them to reenact the iconic scene between hers and Leonardo DiCaprio's characters on the rail. To that she replies, "Oh, yeah! Oh, that one! Oh, don't worry, it's my party piece. Sure, come on up, bring your granny."
But Winslet is actually an amazing sport about the jokes. She understands how deeply the film touched its audience. And now that it will be on the big screen again, it can reach a whole new generation — including her children who will see it for the very first time.
"What's negative about it? Really, nothing at all," she said of the 3-D treatment. "It's very different and much more present. It's bigger — if you can believe that — but it is and you really do feel like you're in it."
Audiences will be able to relive the tragic love story — or experience for the first time — when "Titanic" it hits theaters in 3-D on April 4.

Greater face time for Robb Stark and Jaime Lannister means bigger departures from George R.R. Martin's source material in season two.
By Josh Wigler
Richard Madden as Robb Stark in "Game of Thrones" season two
Photo: Helen Sloan/ HBOWhile "Game of Thrones" is about as close to a perfect adaptation as it gets, there are some aspects of the Seven Kingdoms of Westeros that remain in the books. Changes between George R.R. Martin's source material and the television series are, like winter, destined to come. Your mileage may vary on whether these differences are a good thing, but the differences exist, like them or not.
As was the case in season one, season two of "Thrones" features entirely new scenes to the "Song of Ice and Fire" saga, while other fan-favorite characters from "A Clash of Kings" — the novel that the show's second season is based upon — have been notably modified or, in some extreme cases, completely cut from the proceedings. Here's a quick rundown of some of the changes you can expect between the books and the show this coming season, but be warned: There are spoilers ahead. No way around them!
More Robb Stark
Despite his status as one of the clashing kings in Westeros, Robb Stark remains largely off the page in the second novel of Martin's series. Not so on "Game of Thrones." Richard Madden, the actor who brings Robb to life, is very much present this season, with his off-page exploits given new live-action life on HBO. It's a divisive choice; so much of Robb's impact hinges on only hearing about him and not actually seeing his legendary acts firsthand. On the other hand, you can't expect Madden to sit out virtually an entire season and remain on retainer for future years. Besides, getting the chance to see what Robb is up to while he's away from the book's narrative is part of the fun of an adaptation, right?More Jaime Lannister
Likewise, the Kingslayer is a figure largely absent from "A Clash of Kings," thanks to his captivity at the hands of the Starks. But just as Madden can't be put on ice, neither can Nikolaj Coster-Waldau; he must remain on fire! But where Robb's off-page actions are the focus of his new onscreen story, Jaime's additional screen time might actually come from a future book. Fans of the novels know that portions of Jaime's last appearance in "Clash" were already used in the "Game of Thrones" season-one finale, and there are whispers that the character will actually dabble in "Storm of Swords" territory before the show's second year draws to a close. We Want Our Reeds, We Want Our Reek
On the flip side, some of the characters heavily present in "Clash" are potentially sitting out of season two entirely. Recent rumors indicate that certain key roles — including Meera and Jojen Reed, critical to Bran's story in the books, and nasty sidekick Reek, who has a very interesting place in Theon's world — have not been cast for the upcoming season. Even if the rumors prove true, show runners D.B. Weiss and David Benioff have said previously that certain aspects of the books might get shifted around from season to season — hence bits of Jaime's book-three story moving into season two, or the Reeds moving from book two into season three. As long as there's a future for these characters, we'll take them whenever we can. What's in a Name?
Asha Greyjoy is dead. Long live Yara! Theon's older sister is not one of the aforementioned casualties of adapting book two for television, but her name is. It's been reported that the character, played by Gemma Whelan, lost her original name due to its similarity to Osha, the wildling girl played by "Harry Potter" veteran Natalia Tena. It's a minor difference in the grand scheme of things, but still the kind of change that could rub "Ice and Fire" purists the wrong way. For me, as long as Yara stays true to the essence of Asha — witty, gritty and incredibly badass — I won't sweat the change too much.Throwing Dragonstones
All right, let's close with a personal gripe/nerd-out, shall we? Here we go: "Clash" begins with a prologue from the perspective of Maester Cressen, a servant of would-be king Stannis Baratheon's at his home on Dragonstone. It's an excellent introduction to Stannis and his surrounding cast, and it also sets the stakes extremely high for Baratheon's future actions. The Cressen prologue is easily one of my favorite chapters in the entire "Ice and Fire" series, but it's not quite as prominent in the upcoming "Thrones" season premiere. Of course, some things are lost in translation by necessity, and where the introduction to Dragonstone falls a bit short for me, the show more than makes up for it with plenty of fantastic scenes in King's Landing and elsewhere. I'm just hoping that, going forward, the Dragonstone story line remains a prominent, powerful one.Tell us what you think about the potential changes in the comments section, or hit me up on Twitter @roundhoward!

In this week's Hobnobbing, we take a look at how Gary Ross' sequel can build upon the success of the first.
By Amy Wilkinson
Jennifer Lawrence in "The Hunger Games"
Photo: LionsgateTo no one's surprise, the highly anticipated "Hunger Games" opened last week to boffo box-office numbers, all but guaranteeing the second installment in Suzanne Collins' series, "Catching Fire," will set theaters ablaze come November 22, 2013.
Director Gary Ross, who will also helm the follow-up, has already begun formulating his vision for the 75th annual Hunger Games, telling MTV News, "I have some ideas about how to do 'Catching Fire' slightly differently, but I don't want to share them yet. Not because I'm being evasive, but just because they're not fully baked. But yes, I think it will look and feel slightly different from the first."
With its jungle-like setting, the next arena will be a much different beast than the forested first, so it's no wonder Ross is re-jiggering his approach. We can only speculate that some of his sequel planning will include reviewing "The Hunger Games" in great detail — what worked and what didn't. To that end, we've compiled a list of five "Hunger Games" lessons that can and should inform "Catching Fire."
DO keep the arena underwraps
This one isn't so much for Ross as it is for the Gamemakers at Lionsgate, but we have to recognize the studio's smart decision to use only pre-Games footage in their aggressive marketing campaign for the film. In fact, I'd go so far as to say my favorite parts of the movie were from the arena, largely because they were fresh and unexpected. With the Quarter Quell's intriguing new venue, Lionsgate would be wise to build anticipation by keeping the tropical death trap shrouded in mystery.DON'T skimp on the CGI
If there was a consistent complaint I heard from "Hunger Games" fans following the film's release, it was that the Girl on Fire scene — in which Katniss and Peeta introduce themselves to the Capitol, riding atop a chariot and flaunting flame-licked jumpsuits representative of their coal-mining home — was ... underwhelming. The flame effect just didn't look real enough. With a slew of new sci-fi aspects introduced in "Catching Fire," including mutated monkeys, we hope Ross can invest a bit more in the film's digital technology.DO capitalize on Stanley Tucci
Say what you will about Jennifer Lawrence's gripping, gritty performance as Katniss Everdeen, but if anyone could be categorized as the film's scene-stealer, it was most certainly Stanley Tucci, whose blue-haired, big-teethed Caesar Flickerman was nothing short of mesmerizing (and a handy exposition device to boot!). Heck, I'd pay to watch a Caesar Flickerman spin-off once all three (four?) "Hunger Games" films debut. "Caesar Flickerman: Not So Blue." Think about it, Lionsgate.DON'T downplay the dangers of the arena
Between her 23 fellow tributes, tracker jackers and muttations, Katniss had plenty to contend with in the arena. But, as my roommate so astutely pointed out to me long after I watched the film and didn't notice, we never really see Katniss hungry or thirsty. Limiting the violence for a PG-13 rating is an understandable edit, but why dull down the deadliness of the Games otherwise? In "Catching Fire," we need to see Katniss and her fellow tributes truly struggle, not simply limp along.DO make artful additions (especially if they're directed by Steven Soderbergh)
By shifting the viewpoint of the film from Katniss' first-person perspective, Ross was able to open up the world of Panem in a way we hadn't experienced before. The addition of the control room, Seneca Crane's implied death by berries and, most notably, the District 11 riot only added to the film. What do you think "Catching Fire" can learn from "The Hunger Games"? Sound off in the comments below and tweet me @amymwilk with your thoughts and suggestions for future columns!

Welch says she got a lot of material for 'Breath of Life' from Charlize Theron's beautifully wicked character.
By James Montgomery
Florence Welch
Photo: Samir Hussein/ RedfernsWhen Florence Welch was asked to write a song for the upcoming "Snow White and the Huntsman" soundtrack, she was given the opportunity to watch a select few scenes from the film itself ... and almost automatically, she found herself drawing inspiration from a rather unlikely source: Namely, Charlize Theron's wicked Queen Ravenna.
"The Queen is just this incredible character; so hungry for life but so dead inside. She's sort of eternal, but inside there's nothing. She's kind of like charcoal or something," Welch told MTV News on Thursday (March 29). "[There are] these amazing scenes where she's kind of picking out birds' hearts and eating them. [She has] this thirst for youth and for life, but for what kind of life? This darkness, but she's so beautiful, so it's this kind of juxtaposition between beauty and, ultimately, death."
So, in a bit of a, uh, non-traditional move, Welch ended up writing a song called "Breath of Life," which is sung very much from the perspective of the Queen herself ("I got a lot of material from her!" she laughed. "Beauty, death, life ... it was pushing all of my buttons.") So you can imagine her surprise when, after submitting the song, she found herself sitting in London's Abbey Road studio, watching it all come together under the care of famed composer James Newton Howard.
"We went in and demoed the track, these big, clattering drums, huge bass sounds and everything was very intense ... and then we sent that to the guys in L.A. who composed it. And it was amazing to see the music we played being turned into this amazing orchestral thing," Welch laughed. "You feel in a bit of a way like you're kind of making it up as you go along, and then when you see it done, laid out before you in such a beautiful, orchestral fashion, it's really incredible. And then we all went into Abbey Road and it was one of the best days of my life; I love choirs and I love choral music, and there was a 60-piece choir singing the vocal parts that I had written. When the baritones came in, I nearly wept, it was so emotional."
And thanks to all that, in a still-growing career that's seemingly one highlight after the next, Welch said that writing and recording "Breath" was perhaps her favorite moment to date. Even if the whole 60-member choir thing did give her management team palpitations.
"My manager was looking at me going 'Do not get used to this. We cannot afford this 60-piece choir!' " she laughed. "It was just wonderful. Me and Isa [Summers, Welch's Machine partner, and co-writer of the track] were in there, these young women who made music for love, but with not much money or much reason. ... It was a really proud day for us. And, musically, for the composers at Universal to have understood the song and see it played out so beautifully, it was an amazing day. We felt a bit proper."

Photo: Getty Images"Calling (Lose My Mind)" — the vocal version of "Calling" by rising star Alesso and Swedish House Mafia's Sebastian Ingrosso — was released weeks before Miami Music Week and has become one of the most popular anthems from the annual EDM get-together in Florida.
It serves as a prelude to a collection of new material fans can expect soon courtesy of the Swedish gents. What makes "Calling (Lose My Mind)" extra special is the addition of an A-list vocal by songwriter to the stars and OneRepublic frontman Ryan Tedder. Tedder wrote and sent over a hook intended for another artist to sing, but what Seb and Alesso heard was too good to replace.
Ingrosso leaned on his friends in the business to arrange some one-on-one Tedder time.
"I called a friend of mine who works for Interscope, Dave Rene," Sebastian told MTV News. "He is Mr. Magic when it comes to those kinds of things. I'm like, 'It's going to be a long shot. Do you think that Ryan Tedder could do it?' We sent the track. [Ryan] was like, 'OK. I have 45 minutes in between the American Music Awards.' We ran to the studio, because I live around the corner. Boom. Recorded. Boom. Done."
Having arguably the most sought-after songwriter in the business — Tedder has worked with Beyoncé, B.o.B and Kelly Clarkson, to name just a few — has proven quite successful. This week, the song sits at #2 on Beatport's top 10.
"Ryan Tedder has that voice that everybody likes," Sebastian continued. "You can have his voice in your home, and he's a very nice guy. I think he's one of the most talented songwriters in the world. He does stuff for Adele, so for us, it's a huge honor even to be working with him."
The release of Alesso's next single, the melodious and summery "Years" (Interscope artist Matthew Koma is on the vocal version) is on the way, as well as a banger cut from the cloth of his more sinister hit from last year, "Nillionaire." "He hasn't named it yet," Seb revealed. "I'm dying to release it. I play it all the time. It's one of my favorite tracks at the moment. It's really edgy."
Fans can also expect a Sebastian Ingrosso collab with Tommy Trash, a new solo original, and an Alesso, Steve Angello and Seb team-up on "Why Am I Doing This?" all dropping in the coming months.

Photo: Tim Mosenfelder/ Jason Merritt/ Getty ImagesEarlier this week, Madonna and EDM star deadmau5 were in a war of words after a comment the Queen of Pop made at Miami's Ultra Music Festival.
For those who haven't been following along at home, when Madonna took the stage to introduce Avicii, she asked the room, "How many people in this crowd have seen Molly?" Molly is another term for the illegal drug MDMA (ecstasy). That reference angered 'mau5, who took to his Facebook to call out Madonna for seemingly linking dance music and drug use, a persistent stereotype.
Eventually, the two settled the argument when Madonna took to Twitter, explaining that she was actually referring to the song "Have You Seen Molly" by Cedric Gervais, not the drug. deadmau5 seemed fine with her clarification, and all was cool between the once-beefing twosome.
When MTV News caught up with one of Madge's MDNA producers, fellow EDM DJ Martin Solveig, he weighed in on the short-lived, yet headline-making, tiff.
"She's a lot more ironical than a lot of people think, and ... she has this dry sense of humor, which sometimes makes her say or do things that are a little bit shocking, which is also the reason why everyone loves her," he said of Madge.
Solveig also showed support to 'mau5 (real name Joel Zimmerman).
"Joel probably read the whole thing a bit more first-degree and was a little bit angry, and there's nothing wrong with that," he continued. "And about him saying the things that he wants to say, I mean, I'm totally with him on that. No one here is promoting drug use, and maybe it was important to say this. I know Madonna enough to know that she is, like, completely at the opposite of supporting drug use, but it's a little bit of a chitchat."

'Jack still dies,' director says of the 3-D re-release which he says 'reinvents' the 1997 flick.
By Kevin P. SullivanWhen "Titanic" hits the big screen again on April 4, the ship will be changing course and heading directly into the audience. Director James Cameron has been one of 3-D's biggest proponents for years now and has suggested in the past that any film is open for a three-dimensional makeover. It only makes sense, then, that he put his money where his mouth is and converted his own "Titanic."
Cameron spoke with MTV UK about the process and why the real reward of the re-release is the chance to see his blockbuster on the silver screen again after 15 years.
The director insisted that the movie remains as it was back in 1997, except for the added dimension. "It ends the same way. The ship still sinks. Jack still dies. Oops, I hope I didn't spoil it," he said.
As Cameron has said before, he believes that the 3-D element of the re-release plays a supporting role. He simply wants people to see "Titanic" as it was meant to be seen: in a theater. "I think the first thing you should think of, the most important thing, is that you're going to see it in a movie theater, which is really fundamentally different for anyone who is under a certain age. It hasn't been in a theater for 15 years, so people know it from video. But they haven't taken that ride where you commit to the three hours, and you're going to go on that emotional rollercoaster, and you're going to come out of the end of the movie in a certain mental, emotional state. It's very different."
That isn't the say that the 3-D doesn't add anything. Cameron sees the conversion as a way to reinterpret the experience. "The 3-D is a kind of way of doing that, a way of reinventing the film, and the 3-D does add something to the experience that was never there before, an immediacy, even an intimacy, which is interesting."
Luckily for Cameron, he had originally shot "Titanic" in a way that was conducive to a 3-D conversion. "Even though I wasn't shooting it as a 3-D movie 15 years ago, my particular style is to use wider lenses and to wrap the actors in the scenery," Cameron said. "Because the ship — I don't like to use the term that it was a character — but the environment was constantly informing what was happening, the elegance, the beauty of the ship, the gilt-edged luxury juxtaposed with steerage third class. All those themes are really manifested in the physicality of the ship. The style of seeing all of that when you convert it to 3-D, it just has this lucidity. You just feel like you're there."

Переслать - Green Day's Reign On Shaky Ground In Musical March Madness
Evanescence and Paramore battle it out in the first #1 vs. #2 matchup in MMM history; Elite Eight voting ends tonight at midnight ET!
By James Montgomery
Green Day's Billie Joe Armstrong
Photo: Getty ImagesThere are still a few hours left before polls close in the Elite Eight of MTV's Musical March Madness, and it looks like every second — and vote — is going to count. Because, as we predicted on Wednesday, we've got more than a few epic encounters on our hands, as the remaining eight bands slug it out for a spot in the Final Four.
And, really, with matchups that include Paramore vs. Evanescence, Green Day vs. Adam Lambert and the MMM grudge match to end all MMM grudge matches (that would be Coheed and Cambria vs. Tokio Hotel), well, we'd expect nothing less. Things have been wild, to say the very least.
And so, with Elite Eight polls closing tonight at midnight ET, we figured we'd bring you up to date on all the back-and-forth battles. And they're basically all back-and-forth battles at this point. Shoot, even the My Chemical Romance/Metallica tilt seems destined to come right down to the wire. So here's where we stand with just a few precious hours left.
East
We thought the MCR/Metallica matchup had the potential to be a blowout, and for a while, it looked like those predictions would be correct: MMM heavyweights My Chem surged to a huge lead over road-weary Metallica, though, as the hours wore on, Hetfield and company dug deep, and have been staging a furious comeback ever since. As of this afternoon, they still trail MCR by a fairly sizable amount (something like 12,000 votes), but the gap is closing by the minute. Do they have enough left in the tank to overtake My Chem, or will Gerard and the boys make MMM history and advance to their third-straight Final Four? We'll just have to wait and see.West
There's a huge upset brewing out West, as #11 Adam Lambert has got defending MMM champs Green Day on the ropes. Somewhat surprisingly, this matchup has seen more votes cast than any other in the Elite 8, as the Glambert Nation has shown up in full to support their man. Barring a tremendous rally, it looks like Green Day are going to have to relinquish the trophy, which, given the fact they never bothered to pick it up in the first place, should actually be quite easy. Sort of like Lambert's dominance up to this point.East
The biggest MMM rematch in years — 2010 champs Coheed and Cambria once again facing off against eternal MMM bridesmaids Tokio Hotel, in a battle wrought with historical tension — has, instead, turned into a massacre. Though fans of both bands have been lobbing accusations of cheating (as much a MMM tradition as the trophy itself, it would seem), we've been monitoring this one closely ... and, Tokio fans, you're seemingly home free. With hours left, Tokio are pasting Coheed (to the tune of some 440,000 votes) and seem destined to return to the Final Four. Then again, as we've learned in the past, you can't count Coheed's Children of the Fence out — but sufficed to say, they've got their work cut out for them if they want to help their favorite band advance. Just keep it clean, folks.

The first #1 vs. #2 matchup in Musical March Madness history has most definitely lived up to the advance billing, as top-seeded Evanescence and #2 Paramore have been slugging it out since polls opened. Early on, this one was as close as double digits though, as it stands now — with nearly 2 million votes cast — it's Ev who hold the lead (we see you, Amy Lee!) Does the Para-clan have one more rally left in them, or will Evanescence run the table and become the first-ever #1 seed to make the Final Four? The hour is growing late, though we suspect this one isn't over just yet. There are just hours remaining in the Musical March Madness Elite Eight! Can you lift your favorite band to the Final Four? MC serves up hip-hop and pop on the bipolar Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded, which leaked online Wednesday.
By Rob Markman
Nicki Minaj
Photo: Frank Micelotta/Getty ImagesSearch for Nicki Minaj's Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded in iTunes, and you'll find that it's tucked tight in the hip-hop/rap section, but putting Nick's sophomore album in the confines of a single genre only tells half the story. The album was illegally leaked onto the Internet on Wednesday night, but when Barbs officially unwrap Roman's new LP on April 3, they'll find a culmination of her musical growth neatly sequenced in a symmetrical pop/rap package.
The first half of Roman Reloaded recalls Nicki the Ninja's mixtape days, where she spewed nothing but venom on tracks like "I Get Crazy" and "Itty Bitty Piggy." The album opener, "Roman Holiday," isn't unfamiliar, but the theatrical track which Nicki brought to life at the 2012 Grammys makes more sense in the context of the LP. The vaudevillian hook gives way to some pretty clever rhymes that many may have missed during the much-panned televised performance. "Anyway stylists go get Bulgari/ I am the ultimate Svengali/ You bitches can't even spell that/ You hoes buggin' repel that," she spits before getting schizophrenic, switching up to a flow that has hints of the late Ol' Dirty Bastard.
Sure, Nicki is a pop icon, but these days, so are Jay-Z and Lil Wayne. The Young Money superstar refuses to give up any rap ground, however, and the first seven tracks from Roman Reloaded are unapologetically street. The Hit-Boy-produced "Come On a Cone" and "I Am Your Leader" are both anchored by bass-rattling beats and both find Nicki (as Roman) inviting haters to her figurative male genitalia. On the latter, the Female Weezy pounds her chest alongside Rick Ross and Cam'ron, baiting her competition with lines like: "Nunchuck her, no time to duck her/ Sign of the cross 'cause this is her last supper." Roman Reloaded has more rap features than her 2010 debut: 2 Chainz shows up for "Beez in the Trap" and Wayne appears twice, once on the title track and then again on "Sex in the Lounge." Nicki then gives the hood some inspiration with Nas, Drake and Young Jeezy in tow on the uplifting "Champion," but shortly after that, the bipolar LP takes a sharp turn.
Rather than mix hip-hop with her ever-growing pop sensibilities, Nicki presents Roman Reloaded as a two-parter. If cassettes were still the music medium of choice, there'd be a stark contrast between the A and B sides.
RedOne's pulsating sound dominates on the Harajuku Barbie's current top 10 single "Starships" and continues for five songs straight — the sequencing is not coincidental. "Pound the Alarm" is an adrenaline-laced fist-pumper, and "Whip It" proves that the reigning rap queen picked up quite a few tricks touring alongside Britney Spears last year. "Automatic" is another sweat-inducing dance anthem that should keep Minaj on the charts while her rap fare will keep her in the conversation amongst the hottest MCs.
Over the course of 19 tracks, the Barbs should find a song to suit their every mood. "Fire Burns" for when they're nursing heartbreak, "Marilyn Monroe" for when the world seems to be just too much and "Hov Lane" when they want to celebrate their relative victories.
Since her come-up days, Nick has refused to be put in a box. With her cocksure rap demeanor, it's hard to ignore her hip-hop roots, but when you factor in her ability to craft a popular tune, the possibilities become endless. Roman Reloaded is a further realization of those infinite possibilities, so instead of defining Nicki Minaj by category, maybe it's time to give her own genre.

MTV News brings you a timeline of all the obstacles that once stood in the way of the now-greenlit sequel.
By Fallon Prinzivalli
Will Ferrell in "Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy"
Photo: DreamWorks PicturesMovie fans were overjoyed by Will Ferrell's announcement Wednesday night that "Anchorman 2" is finally happening.
The long journey since the release of the first film left us doubting whether a sequel would ever happen. With our doubts cast aside and our excitement on the rise, we've compiled a timeline of all the obstacles the team overcame to arrive at the ultimate destination.
August 14, 2008: Paul Rudd tells us he thinks "Anchorman" director Adam McKay and actor Will Ferrell were interested in doing a sequel. "Last I heard they were starting to write ['Anchorman 2']," Rudd says. The setting? Possibly the '80s or the moon.
May 27, 2009: Ferrell tells Aussie radio DJs Jono & Dana that he'll be meeting with the "Anchorman" creators to "figure out when and how" to get a sequel in the works.
August 28, 2009: In an interview with Empire magazine, "Anchorman" producer Judd Apatow suggests that in "Anchorman 2," Ron Burgundy, Brick Tamland and Brian Fantana will return as elderly men. "Those anchormen sometimes have their jobs until they're 75 years old," Apatow says.
September 1, 2009: Director McKay says that, due to the cast and crew's busy schedules, the sequel won't be available for another two years. He adds, "But we are definitely doing it." Whew.
April 6, 2010: Steve Carell confirms to our very own Josh Horowitz that the "Anchorman" cast "want[s] to do another one," but there is no script. "I don't think they've [even] decided on a story line yet," Carell says.
April 8, 2010: On the red carpet for his movie "Date Night," Carell lies about everything. He says "Anchorman 2" has already been shot in "just two days" while the cast was drunk. When asked if it was any good he says, "It's fantastic!" Honestly, with the talent in these comedians, we wouldn't be surprised if it was.
April 27, 2010: Adam McKay reveals that, aside from the actor's schedules, another holdup in the sequel is payment. Since the cast went on to become even more famous after the first movie, "Everybody's prices went up." Graciously, the cast agreed to take a pay cut, which is almost unheard of in Hollywood.
April 29, 2010: McKay dashes all our hopes and dreams in a single tweet: "So bummed. Paramount basically passed on Anchorman 2. Even after we cut our budget down. We tried."
May 3, 2010: Hope is restored! As it turns out, Paramount is eager to film the sequel. Deadline reports, however, the "Anchorman" team is forced to regroup as they have a budget gap of $30 million to overcome.
June 6, 2010: With financial issues in the way, Paul Rudd jokes that if "Anchorman 2" doesn't happen, "We'll look to do 'Anchorman 3.' "
July 19, 2010: Yet again, it seems as if "Anchorman 2" is never going to happen. The saddest part? Neither is the proposed "Anchorman" musical. A few days later, Christina Applegate says she feels let down by the news.
May 2, 2011: All hope is officially lost when Ferrell tells Collider that the sequel "is a brick wall right now" and they're "playing around with the idea" of a "Step Brothers" sequel instead.
And suddenly...
March 28, 2012: Ferrell announces on "Conan" that "Anchorman 2" is officially happening with the original director, Adam McKay, and most of the principal castmembers, including Steve Carell and Paul Rudd. The stars have aligned. It's finally happening. Cue celebration!

Переслать - Madonna And Lionel Richie To Reunite On Billboard Charts?
The singers are expected to return to the top five next week, the first time they've been chart mates in 26 years.
By Gil Kaufman
Madonna on cover of True Blue and Lionel Richie on cover of Dancing on the Ceiling
Photo: Sire/ MotownAmerica was still four years away from the first of three wars in the Middle East, Lady Gaga was a newborn, and the Internet was just a twinkle in the eye of some academic nerds' coke-bottle glasses.
That's how long it's been since Madonna and Lionel Richie were both in the top five of the Billboard 200 chart at the same time. The year was 1986, and Richie was riding high with his smash #1 album, Dancing on the Ceiling, while Madge was at #5 with her former #1, True Blue.
Next week the pair will be chart mates again, as Madonna's dance-tastic MDNA is predicted to sell between 300,000 and 350,000 copies to take the top spot, while Richie's album of country re-workings of his biggest hits, Tuskegee, should land at #2 on sales of 125,000 to 150,000.
Back in the day, both were celebrating the release of their third album. Madonna dedicated her "girliest" work to date to her then-husband, actor Sean Penn, even as she began delving into more topical songs ("Papa Don't Preach") and Latin rhythms ("La Isla Bonita"). For an artist who'd already ascended to pop stardom with her first two discs, True Blue was a chance for Madonna to expand her fanbase, and though it debuted at #28, it eventually reached #1, where it stayed for five weeks. Among the singles released from the album are "Live to Tell," the title track and "Open Your Heart." It went on to sell more than 25 million copies worldwide.
For Richie, it was also a time of transition. The former Commodores singer — who was born in Tuskegee, Alabama — had scored some hits on his first two solo albums, including "My Love," the Caribbean-spiced "All Night Long," "Hello" and "Running With the Night."
While Madonna continues to be one of the biggest live draws in the world and a global superstar, Dancing on the Ceiling marked the beginning of the end of Richie's mass popularity. But, the famously well-coiffed singer went out with a huge bang. Not only was the title cut a #1 single and hugely popular video, but the album also spawned the moving ballad "Say You, Say Me," as well as "Love Will Conquer All" and "Ballerina Girl."
While Madonna continued to crank out hit albums such as Like a Prayer, Erotica and Bedtime Stories, it would be 10 years before Richie was back on the charts. His Louder Than Words came out in April 1996, debuting at #33 and not spawning any memorable hits. Against the usual pop music odds, Madonna is still launching singles onto the charts, recently played the most coveted gig in music — the Super Bowl halftime show — and has collaborated with modern stars like Nicki Minaj. Richie has been lower-profile, but served a well-received stint as a guest mentor on the second-biggest reality music competition on TV, "The Voice," and he roped in such big-name country stars as Kenny Chesney, Shania Twain, Jason Aldean, Darius Rucker, Rascal Flatts, Sugarland's Jennifer Nettles, Blake Shelton, Willie Nelson and old pal Kenny Rogers.

'She would give me that pop I need,' last season's fourth-place finisher tells MTV News of rumored addition to judges' table.
By Christina GaribaldiDuring his final appearance on "The X Factor," Marcus Canty promised his fans it was "not over" for him yet, and he was right. The fourth-place finisher, who wowed viewers with his energetic stage presence and smooth R&B style, recently signed to Epic Records and has released his debut single, "Won't Make a Fool Out of You."
Yet at one time it seemed like we might never have heard his music at all. Before "X Factor" Canty tried but failed to get through the audition rounds for "American Idol."
"I tried 'American Idol.' I got in front of the judges, I sang my little heart out, but I guess I didn't make it," Canty revealed to MTV News. "I guess they didn't want me."
"Idol" may not have wanted Canty, but "The X Factor" did. With help from his mother, Canty reluctantly decided to step in front of the judges, hoping to get his chance to go to Hollywood.
"The funny thing is that I didn't want to do 'X Factor' at first. I was just like, 'Man, I'm gonna do it myself,' then I look on the bill and I see L.A. Reid, and I'm like, 'Wait a minute, that's L.A. Reid!' " Canty said. "For so long I've been trying to get music to him. When it came that time, my mom was like, 'Look, you should just try it."
With Reid as his mentor, Canty battled his way to a fourth-place finish with some show-stopping performances that gained him comparisons to Al Green and Bobby Brown.
Canty also developed relationships with the other judges on the show, including former mentors Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger.
"I actually was kind of surprised," Canty said of the departures of Abdul and Scherzinger. "I thought it was a lot of drama on the show with Paula and Nicole, but they were so nice."
Canty was no stranger to drama himself. The R&B crooner found himself in the bottom two during several episodes, most notably edging out Rachel Crow in an emotional and controversial finish.
"I feel like Paula was honest. I feel like Nicole was honest — even in certain situations on the show that they got into, with me and Rachel and at one point, me and Drew," Canty said. "If I was in that situation I probably wouldn't know what to do."
With Scherzinger and Abdul out of the judges' seats, rumors have been swirling that pop star Britney Spears may fill one of the vacant spots.
"Oh wow, I haven't heard that one. Britney Spears, wow. That should be interesting," Canty said in response to the news. "Britney Spears can be my mentor because, first of all, I was the entertainer. I know she would give me that pop I need. That's definitely a great fit."

Переслать - Aerosmith Nearly Done With Album Due This Summer
Singer Steven Tyler promises to bring 'a little bit of 1975 back.'
By Gil Kaufman
Aerosmith's Steven Tyler
Photo: Getty ImagesAs if guitarist Joe Perry's surprise "Happy Birthday" serenade to singer and judge Steven Tyler on "American Idol" last week weren't proof enough that all is good in Aerosmith land, on Wednesday, the veteran rockers confirmed they're releasing their long-awaited studio album this summer.
They didn't reveal the title of the album, their first featuring new material since 2001's Just Push Play, but singer Tyler told Reuters that after a few years of turmoil and tension things are (relatively) back to normal.
"The camaraderie's there, there's some songs that are new rock, and old rock and middle-of-the-road rock, and blues, piano," he said. "Joe Perry singing a couple of songs, I'm playing the drums, Joey sings, just all kinds of stuff." Tyler, 64, added that they have re-teamed with longtime producer Jack Douglas in order to bring "a little bit of 1975 back."
Rolling Stone reported that Tyler said the band is two songs from the finish line and some of the titles completed so far include "Legendary Child," "Beautiful" and "Out Go the Lights."
The release date was not announced, but the band — who arrived at the press conference via motorcycle, a white Lamborghini, taxi and rickshaw — promised to have the disc ready around the time of the kickoff of their recently announced North American "Global Warming" tour, which begins June 16 in Minneapolis. "You're going to get some new songs from the new album and some old songs from the old albums and you're going to get new us and old us, and we're just going to go out and rock your world," Tyler said.
The Boston-bred icons have been trying to get together to record their 15th studio album for several years, but their efforts were interrupted by a variety of ailments, stage accidents involving Tyler (as well as his rehab stint in 2009) and enmity that was stirred up by the singer's decision to sign on as a judge for "Idol."
But despite the grumbling from Perry when Tyler announced his decision to take a seat next to Jennifer Lopez and Randy Jackson in 2010, the motor-mouthed vocalist said the exposure has helped the group reach a whole new audience.
"The music that we write, fortunately it's been seductive to all genres of people," he said. "There's going to be kids who are going to get introduced to Aerosmith all over again, and there's a bunch of new music that we're taking a risk and putting out. It's kind of futuristic rock, all the way across the board, we're just good for that."

Top nine take on their idols, with surprising results. Who soared? Who sunk? Here are our grades!
By James Montgomery
Joshua Ledet and Heejun Han
Photo: Getty ImagesWe can all probably agree that the highlight of Wednesday night's "American Idol" was Jason Derülo's bedazzled neck brace, which shone brighter than a dozen Jessica Sanchezes and had more charisma than an army of Hollie Cavanaghs.
But alas, we can't give out grades based on style alone, which means that once again, we're forced to focus on the singing. And luckily, said singing was actually pretty spot-on this week, as the top nine took on the songs of their idols, leading to some genuine "goosies" moments (thanks, J.Lo) and more standing ovations than the State of the Union address.
Sure, there were the usual assortment of middling performances, too ... but for one night at least, "Idol" was back to its old compelling self. Sort of. Look, it's Season 11; I'm trying as hard as I can. So who soared? Who scored redemption? And who should probably start packing their bags right now? Read on for our report card!
Joshua Ledet: Oh sh--, he's doing Harry Nilsson! Oh, wait — he's doing the Mariah version of "Without You." Still, this was a total powerhouse of a performance. Subtle in some spots, big (big!) in others, perfect throughout, he put genuine emotion into the tune, got raw and vulnerable and, as a result, stole the show. Of course, it's entirely possible some folks might think this one was too weird or something, but there are still people out there who think Rick Santorum would make a good president, too. After a few weeks in the wilderness, Mantasia officially roared back tonight. And Google "Harry Nilsson" please. A
Jessica Sanchez: Totally called she'd be doing Beyoncé. She slowed down "Sweet Dreams," which was a bit of an odd choice, and yet also a supremely confident one. For once, she pulled things back, and maybe suffered a bit for doing so, but there were still plenty of subtly great moments, particularly in the verses. Might not have been her best — it definitely lacked in vocal fireworks — but who says she has to blow it out of the box every week? And really, it was good enough on this night. Can't wait until she loses to Phillip Phillips or Colton Dixon in the finals, and I never have to watch this show again. B
Heejun Han: Newly humble Heejun ditched the shtick and instead focused on the singing and, in the process, totally reinvigorated his "Idol" campaign. His breathy, confident take on Donny Hathaway's "A Song for You" had everyone going nuts, and understandably so: It was a perfect song for him and a nearly perfect performance. I've taken a few potshots at him in these report cards, but I'll be the first to admit that when Heejun is on, well, Heejun is on. Seemed willing to atone for last week's debacle, too, until he did a knock-knock joke. Dammit, dude. B
Phillip Phillips: Growled and shouted ("growted"?) his way through Jonny Lang's "Still Rainin'," and I would bring up the point that in previous years, competitors like him would've been criticized for doing the same thing every week, but since this season everyone just does the same thing every week, well, never mind. The vein in his forehead was the most compelling part of this, by far. "I feel like we're standing up too much tonight," J.Lo declared. You're not the only one, sister. C+
Colton Dixon: Did Lifehouse's "Everything," which he'll have you know is his "favorite worship song." And just to reinforce that point, he ended it on his knees. Now we know who Tim Tebow's voting for. Sorta pitchy — bordering on bleating — and a bit meandering, but it's not like any of that really matters, since the girls liked it. Randy doubled up the praise, first saying he could see him "doing Switchfoot" (a compliment?) and then proclaiming, "I could be looking at a contender for the title!" Of course, dawg ... he is a toothsome white guy, after all. C
Skylar Laine: No way, she did Miranda Lambert! Way to step outside the comfort ... oh, why does it even matter? For those keeping score at home, she took on "Gunpowder and Lead," and it was basically the same thing we've seen every single week from her: bounding, energetic, twangy, a bit of 'tude, a few high spots thrown in for good measure. "Unbridled," J.Lo said. "Over the top," Steven added. "Mississippi!" Randy piled on. Yep. Surely she needs to do something different eventually, right? C
DeAndre Brackensick: Ryan introduced him by yelling, "Just think, you could be driving to work tomorrow jamming to DeAndre!" perhaps because vehicular manslaughter has been trending down in recent years. Did Eric Benet's "Sometimes I Cry," since "Eric Benet is exactly what I want to be" (a sex addict?), then he took the stage wearing a leather duster and vest that made him look like Dr. Sexx, Frontier Loverman. Despite all that — and his warbly falsetto (which bordered on torturous) — it was still sorta bland. Of course, he got a standing ovation from the judges. And then Steven declared, "You gave Prince a run for his money." I officially give up. C-
Hollie Cavanagh: The biggest problem with Cavanagh isn't her voice, which is probably the second-best in the competiton, but rather the sub-robotic level of emotion she brings to the stage. And the latter was definitely on display tonight. After bonding with Stevie Nicks (Stevie Nicks!) during rehearsals, she pledged to bring genuine spirit to her version of Carrie Underwood's "Jesus, Take the Wheel." What we got instead was a flat, by-the-numbers ballad, the kind of thing she's been doing for weeks now. Almost instantly forgettable, she may be in trouble. But, hey, at least there was snow! C-
Elise Testone: Did Zeppelin's "Whole Lotta Love," thus proving that she'd be a totally fun chick to hang out with. Also seemed to have borrowed Steven Tyler's bellbottoms to do so (Seacrest totally noticed, which is why he's the best live-man in the business). Look, this was fun, and it sorta rocked, but it was also really shouty, and no matter what the judges said, this is usually the kind of performance that sends female singers packing. She'll get voted off on Thursday (March 29). As a performance? B As a tactical decision? D

'We got pulled over by the police ...,' the Wanted's Tom Parker tells MTV News about group's appearance on the show.
By Jocelyn Vena, with additional reporting by Sway CallowayThe new season of "Punk'd," which kicks off Thursday (March 29) at 10 p.m. ET/PT, might be the most star-studded to date. Justin Bieber punks the likes of Taylor Swift and Rob Dyrdek, and Miley Cyrus had some fun at the expense of her beau, Liam Hemsworth, and Khloe Kardashian, just to name a few.
Those celebs aren't the only ones getting the wool pulled over their eyes. When MTV News caught up with boy band The Wanted in Las Vegas during spring break, they opened up about getting Punk'd by someone in their band. And while they kept the details of the practical joke slim, the excitement for it was clear.
"So we were outside 'Chelsea Lately' and there was a kid that came up to us, and then when we came out [after going in], she went missing," group member Tom Parker recalled. "And then we got pulled over by the police."
His bandmate Jay McGuiness was the man behind the prank and he knew exactly what would scare his buddies. "Your police in the U.S. are notoriously aggressive, so we were all 'Yes sir, yes sir, OK, whatever you say.' I was involved. I knew for about a week before and I was talking to their team — who were amazing — trying to work out what would scare them. And we know your police are much scarier than ours," he said. "I thought it was hilarious."
Much like the Wanted's internal prank, Demi Lovato got hers from her close friends in the group All Time Low. "My two friends, Jack [Gaskarth] and Alex [Barakat], they Punk'd me," she said. The guys got some help from Nick Cannon, and while she kept the details vague, she did share this with us: "I'm a sucker for, like, ghosts and aliens and stuff like that, so they got me pretty good."
Cannon, Lucy Hale, Mac Miller, Heather Morris, Bieber, Cyrus, Kellan Lutz, Bam Margera, Hayden Panettiere, "Punk'd" alumnus Dax Shepard and Tyler, the Creator have all been tapped as celebrity hosts for the new season of "Punk'd."
Don't miss the premiere of "Punk'd" tonight at 10 p.m. ET/PT on MTV, followed by the series premiere of "The Pauly D Project"! For continuing "Punk'd" and "Pauly" coverage, be sure to check in with MTV's Remote Control blog.
