- Jennifer Lawrence Is 22 Today; We Look Back On Her Best Looks This Year
Though we haven't received an invitation to an epic birthday bash featuring a black-tie dress code and a caviar-filled piñata (we assume it got lost in the mail), tonight's the night for our girl crush and general favorite lady Jennifer Lawrence to dress up and get down in celebration of another year!
The "Hunger Games" actress turns 22 today, marking just one more milestone in the very big year that's seen her transformed into a bona-fide movie star thanks to her headlining role in the biggest franchise of the decade. And in honor of this banner year for Jennifer, we're celebrating our three favorite looks from her 21st year—which established her not just as a major player in Hollywood, but as the sort of style chameleon we love to watch walk the red carpet even when she's not promoting a movie we're dying to see. What were her greatest hits? Check it:
No. 3: Victor and Rolf at the People's Choice Awards
Shortly after wrapping production on "The Hunger Games," Jennifer showed up in this wild, wave-motif dress in a cool shade of cobalt for the 2012 People's Choice Awards, where she'd scored a Fave Superhero nomination for her role as Mystique. Whether this dress was a tribute to her blue-skinned character or just a whimsical way to have some fun, it caught everyone's attention in a very good way.No. 2: Tom Ford at "The Hunger Games" Paris Premiere
Some people thought that her curvy figure and flexible facial expressions meant that Jennifer could only pull off an all-American girl-next-door sort of style...but those people, as demonstrated by her sophisticated Parisian premiere look, are very dumb. A backless dress, sexy stilettos, sleek hair and bright red lips? Mais oui, she is a star.No. 1: Prabal Gurung at "The Hunger Games" L.A. Premiere
Jennifer may not have decked herself out in flames (a la her "Hunger Games" signature style) for the movie's various premieres, but she was most definitely on fire in this luxurious stunner of a gown that looked like it was made of liquid gold. What were your favorite J-Law looks this year? Переслать - Sterling Sulieman Steals A 'Pretty Little Liars' Kiss As This Week's Hump Day Hottie
Can Rosewood get any hotter? Each week it seems like there's a new babe steaming up the streets of the small town from everyone's favorite small-screen drama. And these days we have to admit we're crushing a bit on new-boy-next-door Sterling Sulieman. As he continues to romance the ladies of Rosewood, we are going to go ahead and name him this week's Hump Day Hottie.
Check out this dreamy photo of Sterling and keep reading for more details about him!
Vital stats: This 28-year-old was born in Oakland, Calif., but raised in Hawaii. He cultivated his acting chops at UCLA where he got his degree in theater, film and television.
Where you might have already seen him: Before his work on "Pretty Little Liars," he appeared on another one of our favorites, "The Vampire Diaries," and he's also clocked some time on "24" and "All My Children." He's also been on "Bones," "Hannah Montana" and "Entourage." But he's not just a TV guy. He acted alongside Justin Timberlake in "In Time."
Why you should take notice of him now: He's stirring up some trouble on "PLL," that's why. As Nate St. Germain, he swooped into town to study Law at Hollis shortly after his cousin and Em's better half, Maya, was killed. And while sometimes we're not quite sure what his deal is, he has tried to make time with several of the town's most eligible bachelorettes. This week he made the ultimate move when he kissed Emily. The St. Germains just can't stay away from that chick.
Until next week, when we choose another Hump Day Hottie, you can salute Sterling by staring at the photo above!

Our literature-loving hearts have been aching—ACHING I TELL YOU—for the September 21 release of "The Perks of Being a Wallflower," the big-screen adaptation of Stephen Chbosky's arresting, coming-of-age novel. And with a little more than a month to wait, well, let's just say we're performing plenty of downward-facing dogs and lighting lots of aromatherapy candles to keep ourselves calm. You know what also soothes our spirit? EXCLUSIVE images straight from our friends at Summit Entertainment.
To wit, a trio of never-before-seen stills, featuring "Perks" stars Logan Lerman, Emma Watson and Ezra Miller, have landed in our laps, and we're in a sharing mood.
For the uninitiated, "The Perks of Being a Wallflower" follows shy loner Charlie (Logan) during his freshman year of high school, as he acclimates to his new environment and eventually befriends step-siblings Sam (Emma) and Patrick (Ezra), who introduce him to a world of sex, drugs, and, yes, rock 'n' roll.
The film also stars Nina Dobrev, Mae Whitman, Johnny Simmons, Paul Rudd, Kate Walsh and Dylan McDermott.
After you've perused these awesome images, head on over to "The Perks of Being a Wallflower" Facebook page for their Wallflower Wednesdays feature, in which an iconic quote and image from the book and film will be posted each Wednesday. And you can participate by creating your own original artwork, which may be featured on the film's Tumblr!

Переслать - 'Pretty Little Liars' Recap: 'What Lies Beneath'
Much like Ali before her, Maya continued to communicate from the grave during last night's episode of "Pretty Little Liars." As you'll recall, the girls finally hacked into Maya's website (MayaSpace, rather), but the dearly departed's poetry recitations didn't really aid their investigation too much. But the latest clue might! Hanna found a note on her porch from Maya to Emily, dated the night of the murder. It asked Emily to meet Maya...well, the where was a little smudged, so it remained a mystery. But not for long...
Hanna pulled a total "CSI," enlarging and printing the photos from MayaSpace, hoping to pick up details the liars had previously missed. And she did! Several of the selfies Maya took were in front of the Kahn cabin. What was she doing there? And in her pajamas!?
The liars decided to do a little reKAHNizance (get it!?), so they split up to snoop while Noel was at football practice. Spencer took the boys' locker room (we knew she was a smart girl!), and grabbed Noel's phone from his locker to search for any trace of Maya. She came up empty-handed but was caught red-handed when Noel walked in and saw her at his locker. Yet she somehow slipped out while Noel was distracted.
Hanna and Emily took the Kahn cabin, where they found a hidden room that Maya had been staying. They knew because her bag was still there, and inside they found a bus ticket to San Francisco. Maya apparently never left Rosewood. But just as they started to think about the implications of their new-found clue, all the doors and windows slammed shut like something out of a horror flick. They were stuck! Emily began smashing the windows to escape—which they eventually did, but not before Hanna cut her leg, and bad. When they emerged, the message, "I'm saving you for later. -A" was spray-painted on the side of the cabin.
Paging Dr. Wren! Hanna's flirtation with the physician paid off as he made a house call to sew up her leg. And though she had told him earlier nothing would happen between them because of Spencer and Toby, he seemed all kinds of into her as he made her dinner and helped her prop up her injured leg. This isn't over yet.
Back at home, fresh off her locker room shenanigans, Spencer got a blocked email, apparently from Noel, with his cabin's surveillance footage attached. Surveillance footage from the night of Maya's murder, which showed her arriving at the cabin at 10 p.m. (after she was spotted with Garrett) and being dragged off by a mysterious figure minutes later, all while Noel and Jenna were inside. What does it all mean? Well, supposedly, it means neither Garrett, Noel nor Jenna committed the murder, but it seems a bit tenuous to me.
Maya's murder is still a big mystery, but one thing came into clear relief this episode: Young buck Zack is totally into Aria's mom, Ella, and the feelings are mutual. Also on the romance beat, Nate finally kissed Emily (which we knew he'd been wanting to do forever), and Paige—unbeknownst to Emily—saw them. Whoops! Also, Ezra tracked down his baby mama, Maggie, in Delaware. Will she return to mess things up with Ezria? We have no idea, but this being Rosewood, we think it's probably safe to say, most likely.
What did you think of last night's episode of "Pretty Little Liars"? Do you think Garrett, Noel and Jenna are off the hook for Maya's murder? How will Maggie play into Ezra and Aria's relationship? Are you shipping Wren and Hanna, or do you only have eyes for Caleb? Sound off in the comments and on Twitter!
Переслать - Watch 'Cosmopolis' Cast Try To Summarize Film In 10 Seconds Or Less
What can you expect when Robert Pattinson stops by our studios this Thursday for an interview about his new film, "Cosmopolis"? Actually, nobody knows! Partly because we can never predict the madness that will ensue, and partly because the renowned surrealist weirdness of the story means that any number of things could go down. (What sort of things? Without revealing too much, let's just say that we wouldn't be surprised if there was a potato gun and a bear suit involved. AND THAT'S ALL WE'LL SAY.) But here's what you probably won't get: a concise-yet-illuminating summary from the lead actor of just what happens in this mindjob of a movie. Because as evidenced by Josh Horowitz's attempts to elicit one from various folks on the premiere red carpet, it is really hard to do.
We asked Emily Hampshire, Paul Giammati, Sarah Gadon, and even director David Cronenberg to describe "Cosmopolis" in 10 seconds or less—with some of them doing better than others. Some gave us too little; some gave too much (yes, Paul, we're talking about you); and two of them delivered single-sentence summaries that we're pretty sure they stole from the movie poster, so no fair and it doesn't count. (Personal favorite: Emily's prolonged "UHHHHHHHHHH?"... which, let's be real, probably tells you more about the film than any of the more articulate responses we got.)
The takeaway: Some questions are best left unanswered. But if you want to see Rob give his own summary a shot, you can request one! Just mark your calendar for MTV First: Robert Pattinson this Thursday on MTV at 7:49 p.m. ET, when RPatTz will premiere a brand-new clip from "Cosmopolis" and then take fan-submitted questions for a 30-minute interview on MTV.com. Переслать - 'Pretty Little Liars' Star Ian Harding Teases Summer Finale Cliffhanger
How about a little "Pretty Little Liars"-related eye candy to get your day started off on the right track? Ian Harding has us covered, thanks to a recent conversation we had with the crushworthy gentleman during which he delighted us with info about the summer finale teasery and on-set antics.
"There's going to be some nutty secrets on the show," Ian said. "At first I found out that something happened and I thought, 'Oh, that's cool.' But then something immediately happens after and you go, 'Ohhh, wow. That's something real.' Things just got real, the ante has been upped."
We then told him that if he's saying the ante has been upped, for a show that's already cray-cray and full of drama all the time, that's sayin' something for the upcoming finale.
"Truly. Especially for the relationship that's already taboo. It's going to be a little bit more colorful," he said.
Speaking of taboo, Ian's co-star Lucy Hale recently revealed to us that her onscreen boyfriend and her onscreen mother (played by Holly Marie Combs) share in some overly flirty exchanges during table reads, a fact that we had to ask Ian to confirm or deny.
"Oh, nice. Overly flirtatious as in incredibly mean to each other, I suppose that's flirtation," he said. "Like outright verbal violence, yeah sure, I guess that's the case. We like jabbing at each other. I'll make a joke like 'Oh, are you going to curse me now?' because she did 'Charmed' for so many years and then she'll call me a child because I'm very new to this industry, so yeah."
When asked about the likelihood that we'll be seeing yet another cliffhanger on the upcoming summer finale, Ian said the odds are in our favor.
"Probably," he said. "Naturally, it would really be terrible if we were like, 'Oh everything is neat and tidy,' or 'This relationship is really cool,' that would be boring."
Finally we asked Ian to reveal which characters' storylines he most enjoys watching outside of his own, which had mixed results in revealing pure enjoyment and pure mischief on Ian's part.
"I hate watching myself so that's not a hard feat to undo. I really love watching Keegan [Allen], and I love the whole Troian [Bellisario]/ Keegan thing," he said. "I love making fun of Shay [Mitchell] as much as humanly possible. Shay and Paige's scenes are fantastic. Like I try to be on set for those even though I'm not called."
What do you think is in store for the liars in the upcoming finale?
Переслать - 'Glee' Guest Kate Hudson Takes To The Dance Floor
When "Glee" creator Ryan Murphy joined Twitter last month, he promised plenty of scoops straight from the sets of some of our favorite TV shows. And, boy, is he delivering! Today's first look may very well be our favorite thus far: Take a gander at Kate Hudson getting down (and dirty!) on the dance floor!
From FOX: Kate Hudson in action. GLEE S4 premieres Thurs., Sept. 13 at 9p! twitter.com/MrRPMurphy/sta…
— Ryan Murphy (@MrRPMurphy) August 14, 2012
We know from earlier reports that Ms. Hudson will play Rachel Berry's New York City mentor when the series returns for its fourth season. Lea Michele tweeted her excitement over the guest star back in July, writing, "Getting ready now to work with the AMAZING Kate Hudson! First scene in the dance studio at NYADA!"
And Kate isn't the only famous face making an appearance. Kurt Hummel (a.k.a. Chris Colfer) is getting his own mentor in the form of "Sex and the City" star Sarah Jessica Parker. (Not too shabby, huh?)

Переслать - Lily Collins Is Lovely For Glamour
When a woman once known the world over simply as "Posh" handpicks you to pose for Glamour magazine, you don't say no. Such is the plum position actress Lily Collins finds herself in, thanks to former Spice Girl (and Glamour guest editor) Victoria Beckham.
We declared the 23-year-old part of our New Class of on-the-rise young actors last year, and with performances in "Abduction" and "Mirror Mirror," Hollywood is definitely taking note. Next week, the beauty will begin filming on one of our most-anticipated adaptations: Cassandra Clare's "Mortal Instruments" novel "City of Bones," which also stars Jamie Campbell Bower and Jonathan Rhys Meyers, but in the meantime, we'll just gawk at this beautiful spread of Lily in the September issue.
"I was so honored!" Lily said of being selected by Victoria. "I grew up adoring the Spice Girls. And you can't touch her when it comes to fashion. She owns every outfit she wears. I don't know how she handles all of those kids—and in heels!"
Being surrounded by beautiful women is nothing new for the actress. She does work in Hollywood, after all!
"With Sandra Bullock, Julia Roberts, Julianne Moore, and Jennifer Connelly, they weren't fussy with hair and makeup," Lily recalled. "They all exude this inner and outer beauty. I learned that no matter how big you get, it's still important not to let anything go to your head."

Переслать - Ryan Gosling Coloring Book. That Is All.
Hey girl, we heard you needed more Ryan Gosling in your life. That's why we knew we had to bring the most insanely wonderful baby goose-related product to your attention as soon as we heard about it.
Meet "Colour Me Good Ryan Gosling," the
world's most brilliant ideaRyan Gosling coloring book. Created by artist Mel Simone Elliott over at I LOVE MEL, the 15-page-long stroke of genius is only £7.50 (or around $11.75) and could potentially change your life forever. Or just save you from a few hours of boredom. The coloring book features sketches Mel did based on Ryan's performances in "Drive," "The Notebook" and "Lars and the Real Girl" and (according to the book's cover) is "for good colourer-inners (as well as beginners)." The hilarity doesn't stop there, as the back cover promises you can "use your felt tips to colour in Ryan Gosling driving, eating, kissing, sitting, standing, walking and all manner of handsome activities."
Don't worry about that sound you just heard, it was just Hollywood Crush editor Amy Wilkinson dying of pure joy.
Special thanks to Jen Yamato over at Movieline for bringing this to our attention. We already have the Bill Murray coloring book bought and paid for, so it only makes sense that we add this dream boat to our collection as well. Maybe we should skip asking Robert Pattinson about "Cosmopolis" during this week's MTV First and instead ask him about the likelihood of an RPattz coloring book? It only seems like the logical next step in the coloring-between-the-lines world.
Are you as into this coloring book craze as we are? Do you think Eva Mendes would approve? Tell us in the comments section below or on Twitter!
Переслать - Ryan Lochte Diving Into '90210' Cameo
All together now: Jeah!
Rumors had been swirling like a band of synchronized swimmers that Olympic heartthrob Ryan Lochte was eyeing TV appearances on "The Bachelor" and "Dancing With the Stars," but it looks like the athlete's first television deal is coming by way of a very different zip code.
According to CBS Television Studios, Ryan (who earned five medals at this summer's Games) will make a cameo on "90210" as a guest at a resort where Naomi (AnnaLynne McCord) and Max (Josh Zuckerman) are staying to strengthen their relationship. While details are mostly scarce at this point, the episode is slated to air Monday, October 29, on The CW.
This is all great news for the guy with the grill, but we're more interested to hear when teammate Nathan Adrian will be making his appearance on an episode of "The Vampire Diaries." Let's make this happen, Julie Plec!
(Sidenote: Is anyone around these parts aged enough to remember gymnast Kerri Strug's slightly awkward cameo on the original "Beverly Hills, 90210"? Just me? OK, I'll go back to my Old Person Corner now.)
