- Lea Michele Is A Birthday Babe
Well wishes are in order for "Glee" star Lea Michele, who turns the ripe ol' age of 26 today. Happy birthday, Lea! Of course, the actress got plenty of love around the Twittersphere for her big day, including from co-stars like Kevin McHale (who also gave a shout out to the late Michael Jackson, who would have been 54 today).

Pre-production on the highly anticipated "Hunger Games" follow-up, "Catching Fire," is heating up, with a new stylist selected for the Quarter Quell. According to Entertainment Weekly, Trish Summerville, who costumed the 2011 David Fincher thriller and designed a Lisbeth Salander-inspired clothing line for H&M, will be outfitting Katniss Everdeen for her second go-around in the arena.
Trish will take over duties from Oscar-nominated costume designer Judianna Makovsky, who worked with director Gary Ross on the first film. And as EW points out, one of Trish's main costuming concerns will be Katniss' wedding gown, which District 12 stylist Cinna cleverly fashions to burn away, revealing a feathery Mockingjay costume underneath.
From her time on the "Dragon Tattoo" set, we know Trish is a very collaborative designer, having worked with Fincher and actress Rooney Mara to deftly create a punk-hacker look that embodied the protagonist's gritty sensibility. We can't wait to see what she does with The Girl on Fire.
"The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" will light up theaters November 22, 2013.

If we had attended high school with Channing Tatum, we probably never would have wanted to graduate. But graduate we did, and now we're faced with a lifetime of reunions to look forward to (or dread). It's a scenario Channing knows all too well evidenced by his upcoming film "10 Years."
The movie follows a group of late 20-somethings who return to their hometown for a night of hijinks with their high school crew, and stars pretty much every young actor in the Hollywood yearbook, including Jenna Dewan-Tatum, Justin Long, Ari Graynor, Scott Porter, Rosario Dawson, Kate Mara and Chris Pratt.
In honor of the film's September 14 release and our continued week-long preview of all movies fall, we're giving you an EXCLUSIVE look at "10 Years."
In this brand-new clip, Channing acts opposite real-life wife and "Step Up" co-star Jenna in an aww-inducing scene. Though, if you ask us, we think very little acting went into Channing looking lovingly at Jenna in the bathroom mirror. That goofy grin is just too genuine.

We've had a close eye on the darkly funny "Bachelorette" since the trailer dropped last month, promising a sort of Neil-Labute-meets-Judd-Apatow take on the bridesmaid screwball comedy (along with an unusual straight-lady role for perennial favorite Rebel Wilson, yaaaaay!). And if you're wondering whence comes the enthusiasm, this EXCLUSIVE new clip should clear things up—featuring a bizarre little scene in which Lizzy Caplan needs another drink, Isla Fisher needs to be sedated and Kirsten Dunst needs to play an evil, sidewalk-licking hosebeast beyotch all the time because she is really eerily excellent at it.
The clip opens in a bridal shop, where it looks like the three bridesmaids—all of whom appear to be coming into the home stretch of an epic pre-wedding bender—have finally found a solution to the whoopsie little problem (as teased in the trailer) of having torn their friend Becky's wedding dress in half! Except hold on, because the replacement gown has emotional significance to Kirsten's character, and she can't stand to see her frenemy in it, and to prove how serious she is, she's going to french kiss a New York City sidewalk.
...Y'know, like you do.
"Bachelorette" is available now on iTunes and Video On Demand and hits theaters September 7.

Переслать - Selena Gomez Is Sad, Bored In The First Peek At 'Spring Breakers'
And now, for something completely different! ...Okay, so the bored teen angst on display in this teensy first clip from "Spring Breakers" isn't exactly new territory, per se, but getting a glimpse of Selena Gomez behind bars (and monologuing about the terrible banality of life in a dull monotone that's anything but Disney-issue perky) is definitely one for the record books.
The first peek at the movie, which Selena has warned might be somewhat shocking to fans who've watched her grow up doing more family-friendly fare, is quick, quiet and seriously blue—figuratively and literally.
In this scene, a blonde Vanessa Hudgens takes pretend shots at the floor, her friends, and herself while Selena's disembodied voice echoes off the concrete walls (we can't see much of the setting, but considering that the story kicks off with the female cast getting thrown in the clink for a robbery, it's not a stretch to assume it's a jail cell.)
"I'm so tired of seeing the same thing every single day," she says, as the camera pans over her listless face. "Everything's the same and everyone's just sad."
And... nope, that's all there is. (Hey, we told you it was quick.) But even in this microscopic clip, it's clear that Selena has taken on a challenge way beyond the cutesy roles she usually plays. And with "Spring Breakers" not hitting theaters until 2013, we can likely look forward to seeing a little more buzz—including the appearance of James Franco in his cornrows and pimp shirt—as the release date gets a little closer.

Despite the fact that we're all dying—dying!—to get pitchslapped by Anna Kendrick and Rebel Wilson in the upcoming a cappella flick "Pitch Perfect," it will, alas, be October before this story from the sordid and scandalous world of college a cappella makes its way to the big screen. But as part of our Fall Movie Preview Week, MTV has scored a little vocal warmup to sweeten the wait: an EXCLUSIVE clip that shows just what sort of instrument-free awesomeness you can expect from the movie's many, many musical numbers!
This melodic scene features the movie's all-girl singing group, the Bellas, limbering up their music-makers and doing a little freestyle remixing before the big competition that pits them against their a cappella arch rivals in a battle for vocal supremacy. What happens when a dozen gifted girls start harmonizing to Bruno Mars' "Just the Way You Are" in an empty pool? Pure magic, that's what! (Plus, more evidence of the cast's unmistakable talent for any recalcitrant doubters who didn't think that Anna Kendrick could carry a tune.)

The lead up to last night's "Pretty Little Liars" summer finale may have touted one major BetrAyal, but plenty of characters turned out to be something other than what we thought during the jaw-dropper of an episode.
The action began with a flash-forward. Sirens! Flashing lights! Hanna crying behind police tape! A shrouded body being wheeled into an ambulance! "The deceased was a friend of yours?" an officer asked visibly shaken Emily. Is one liar short a love interest?
Two days earlier, the girls decided they were going to have an intervention for Em. She needed to be convinced that Paige was A and that she was dangerous. Of course, this didn't sit well with Emily, who stormed out of the house and didn't show up for school the next day. But perhaps the girls had it all wrong about Paige, because as she was comforting Emily at home, she got a text from A telling her to be at the cemetery at 10 p.m. The liars got a text of their own shortly after saying to stand down and Emily would stay safe.
In a bizarre little interlude that followed, we witnessed Mona—in a crisp, white nurse's uniform—walking right out the front doors of Radley. Um, it shouldn't be that easy, right? Clearly, it was showtime for the psychopath.
With reporters descending upon Rosewood for Garrett's trial and the continued threat of A's wrath, Emily decided to flee town for a weekend in the woods with Nathan and his family. Which left the other liars holding the bag—Maya's bag, specifically. Another A text ordered them too to make an appearance at the cemetery with tote in tow.
While one character was leaving the city limits, another was entering them once again. Toby made his triumphant return from Bucks County to have sex with Spencer. (Was she really still in possession of her V-card?) If you've ever seen the movie "Scream," perhaps this romp left you wondering and suspecting the same thing I was. More on that to come...
In between all the A intrigue, Aria's cover was nearly blown when
Alex MackMaggie showed up at Ezra's apartment. But the girls decided to keep each others' secrets: Aria wouldn't spill about Ezra's very-real son and Maggie wouldn't reveal Aria's spying.Spencer, Hanna and Aria met later that night at the cemetery, giving a gun-toting Caleb Maya's bag as leverage. But when no one (least of which, Paige) showed up amongst the graves, the girls realize that they'd been sent on a wild goose chase and that Emily might be in danger. Which she totes was. Turns out, Nathan wasn't Nathan at all. His real name was Linden, and he was out for revenge. He had been in love with Maya and, well, Emily messed it all up, so he was going to hurt her the way she'd hurt him: by slitting the throat of a hog-tied Paige.
Not knowing exactly which lodge Emily was at, Caleb headed to Belmar while the girls headed to Bayhead. Caleb found Emily, who had just stabbed Nathan/Linden after a tussle in a nearby lighthouse. But then a shot rang out. Caleb got one in the gut from his own gun! But who pulled the trigger? It looked like he would be all right (hopefully!), but Nathan/Linden wasn't so lucky, hence the shrouded body being wheeled into the ambulance. As the girls waited at the hospital, they simultaneously got a phone call with a disguised voice intoning: "Emily, I owe you one." Shiver. Garrett also owes her one as the revelation about Nathan/Linden cleared him of the charges for Emily's murder.
But let's talk about the biggest reveal last night (and what I alluded to earlier): OMG TOBY IS A! He's the one who's been in cahoots with Mona! Spencer should have thought twice before giving it up to her handyman boyfriend.
This raises so many questions about Toby. Does he truly love Spencer? Is he targeting the girls because of what they did to Jenna? Or does he have other motives? Let the theorizing commence!

It's kind of hard not to get a crush on a multi-talented performer like Carlos Pena. He can sing, dance and act, not only as a member of Big Time Rush, but also in this week's indie feature, "Little Birds." In honor of his breakout role in the flick, we are naming him this week's Hump Day Hottie.

Vital stats: This 23-year-old was raised in Florida, where at a young age he began to explore his love for the arts, appearing in local productions of musicals and, yes, even getting his groove on as a cheerleader at his high school. He perfected his craft at both the American Heritage School and the Boston Conservatory before moving to Los Angeles.
Where you might have already seen him: Well, aside from making us swoon week after week on Nick's "Big Time Rush," he's also appeared on "Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide," "ER," "Judging Amy" and "Summerland."
Why you should take notice of him now: The guys will be back for another season of "BTR." The fourth season kicks off in 2013. But, this week, fans can check out Carlos in the flick, "Little Birds," a coming-of-age film about two girls who fall victim to the charms of some young men who take them to L.A. where things go terribly wrong pretty quickly.

Is Garrett "The Lady Killer"? Here's hoping all will be illuminated during tonight's "Pretty Little Liars" summer finale as the officer goes on trial for Maya's murder. However, knowing writer and executive producer I. Marlene King, we're preparing ourselves for few answers and even more questions. Especially given this Tweet star Troian Bellisario posted earlier today.

It all goes down at 8/7 C. Following the summer finale, catch the online spin-off series, "Pretty Dirty Secrets," which will take place inside Rosewood's Halloween store and include appearances by Noel (Brant Daugherty), Garrett (Yani Gellman), CeCe (Vanessa Ray), Lucas (Brendan Robinson) and Jason (Drew Van Acker), and introduce new character Aerial Miranda.

No pop-cultural territory is sacred to Hilly and Hannah Hindi, the
slightly derangedwildly creative duo behind The Hillywood Show—not even the final, epic battle between the bespectacled, blood-spattered Harry Potter and his arch-nemesis, Lord Voldemort. (Whoops! We're not supposed to say that name!) And after giving their goofy musical parody treatment to previous Potter flicks, Hillywood has given birth to a brand new take on the wizarding world......in which the final showdown from "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" takes the form of a DANCE OFF. Featuring the quivering ginger Ron Weasley as emcee, Harry and the Wizard Formerly Known As Tom Riddle take their grievances to the stage, as competitors in the live performance competition "So You Think You're a Wizard" (video via RyanSeacrest.com).
The result: a battle much like the one that takes place in the film, except with a lot more popping and locking! At least up until the point where Harry wakes up in the train station of his unconsciousness to see Voldemort all dressed up in Dumble-drag. Which...I mean, is that supposed to be deeply disturbing and yet peculiarly sexy? Because...um. Nothing. Nevermind.
