  • Justin Timberlake Gets In Friday The 13th Spirit

    by Meg Malone

Did you happen to notice today's date? Happy Friday the 13th, Crushers! A number of our favorite celebs took to Twitter today to make note of the spooky occasion, including Justin Timberlake who proved to be a bit of a jokester here with a tweeted reference to a famous scary movie villain.

Can you guess the movie reference (BIG HINT: What is today's date again?) Oh Justin—we obviously love your songs, but we also appreciate that you can make us laugh, rather than stress out over silly superstitions. However, does that mean we'll be walking under ladders or opening umbrellas in our house later? Ummm, probably not—better safe than sorry!

  • 'Twilight' Stars Cop To Taking Set Souvenirs

You'd be hard pressed to find an employee who's never pilfered a pen or roll of TP from the office supply closet, and the same goes for movie stars... Though their workplace wonders are infinitely more interesting. Take the stars of "The Twilight Saga," for instance, who stopped by for a chat during our two-hour Comic-Con livestream on Thursday. When a fan tweet asked whether they'd taken anything from set, it inspired some interesting answers.

"I'm such a rule follower, and I couldn't possibly steal anything even if I wanted to," Nikki Reed said. But that's not the end of the story. Stay tuned...

"I stole socks," Elizabeth Reaser admitted. "I actually feel kind of guilty for it. I ran out of socks. But I feel bad. I don't think it's good to steal from sets or anywhere."

Well, I mean, that's pretty utilitarian so maybe not so bad? But it was co-star Peter who probably had the most egregious get.

"I took Carlisle's ring, but then someone asked for it back," he said. "I took it, and I was like, couldn't get it off my finger. And then someone actually asked for it back, for some reason they didn't have one. But then I think I took the last one from the last movie. Now I don't know where it is. I'll find it somewhere."

And remember what we said about Nikki's multi-layered tale? Well, here's the rest:

"I have my shoes from the baseball scene in the first movie, but that's because Kristen stole them for me," Nikki revealed. "She knew that they were doubles, and I really wanted to take them and it was a constant internal battle, so she took them for me. I still haven't touched them. It was great that she did it because I couldn't do it."

We're not sure that defense would hold up in a court of law, but thankfully, it doesn't sound like anyone's missing the shoes in question, so no vampers in jail tonight!

Click play on the video above to hear more from Elizabeth, Nikki and Peter, including their own ideas for some steamy "Twilight" fanfic.

  • Taylor Swift, 'Twilight' Trio Make Forbes Highest-Paid Under 30 List

    by Meg Malone

Forbes magazine recently released their list of the highest-paid celebrities under 30—or as I call it, a list of people whose bank accounts I'd like to pilfer.

There's a few Crush favorites (hi, "Twilight" leads!) among the music stars and actors who've made this year's countdown. No. 1 on the list right now? It's none other than songstress Taylor Swift, who Forbes estimates made $57 million over the last year from her albums, concerts and spokesperson gigs (such as CoverGirl). Even if I actually knew how to sing and play instruments and write songs like Taylor, I can't ever imagine ever receiving a paycheck of that magnitude.

Keep reading after the jump for the rest of Forbes' list:

    2. Justin Bieber ($55 million)
    3. Rihanna ($53 million)
    4. Lady Gaga ($52 million)
    5. Katy Perry ($45 million)
    6. Adele ($35 million)
    7. Kristen Stewart ($34.5 million)
    8. Lil Wayne ($27 million)
    9. It's a "Twilight" tie! Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner ($26.5 million)

I also took the liberty of adding up all of the money that Forbes calculated for each of these 10 young celebs: $411.5 million. Yeah, there's basically not much to say after that.

Did one of your favorite celebrities make the list? Let us know in the comments and on Twitter!

  • Michelle Williams Would Return To 'Dawson's Creek'

Back in 2010, James Van Der Beek told Hollywood Crush that former co-star Michelle Williams would totally be down for a "Dawson's Creek" reunion. We were a bit surprised that she'd want to reprise her role on the soapy series after finding so much success on the big screen.

Well, it seems that she's still really into the idea.

"I would very happily do a reunion show, I don't know what it would be," Michelle told reporters at Comic-Con (via Us Weekly) about returning to Capeside one more time. However, she did note that her return would be particularly unusual given Jen's fate on the show. "My character died in the end, so there are certain limitations for me. It's either I come back as a ghost or I'm shot through a lot of gauzy, hazy light as my 19-year-old self.

"I've always said that I would really love to and I think independently, we've all been saying that," she continued. "So at some point I hope that it does happen [as]... a way to honor the past and what a big deal it was for the four or five of us and what a big deal it was for the people who watched it."

And, she's not wrong. While gossip had it that before she divorced Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes wasn't allowed to do a "DC" reunion, she is now free to do whatever it is she wants. "It would be fun," Katie said on "Good Morning America" about the prospects of reunion. "I had so much fun working on that show, and I loved everyone so much and I think about it with such fond memories."

Back to Dawson himself, he admitted in that same 2010 interview that he'd be "open" to it, if they could find the right way to do it. And Joshua Jackson said he'd do it, if they could track down all those bowling shirts that Pacey used to wear.

"Dawson's Creek" ended in 2003 after six seasons on the WB. With the 10-year mark coming up around the bend, now just might be the perfect time to turn up the Paula Cole and climb through Joey's window one more time.

  • 'Hunger Games' DVD Extra: How NOT To Catch Fire

    by Meg Malone

"Catching Fire" may be the hotly anticipated sequel to "The Hunger Games," but as this new behind-the-scenes clip shows, a lot of careful planning went into making sure nobody was catching on fire on the first movie's set.

As you may remember, in one of the film's (many) intense sequences, Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) finds herself trying to outrun a blaze overtaking the forest around her. This new clip, which premiered at Comic-Con ahead of the DVD/Blu-ray release on August 18, explores what went into filming that terrifying fire-following scene.

"My memories are, everybody going 'Get back! Get back! Stay away! and me, being like, standing right there where nobody else is allowed to stand," Jennifer said in the clip. "I'm like, what about me?"

Stunt coordinator Chad Stahelski said that director Gary Ross had expressed an interest in using some real fire so that it wouldn't be only CG flames chasing after the heroine in the final product. Additionally, Gary elaborated on the safety precautions that were taken, including setting out a specific path for Jennifer to run ahead of time.

Chad explains the details about turning the concept into a reality much better than we can in the clip, but we will say that "propane blasts" sound like something we hope to never be around.

Is there another scene you'd love to see them break down on the "The Hunger Games" DVD/Blu-ray special features? Let us know in the comments and on Twitter!

  • 'Breaking Dawn' EXCLUSIVE: Cullen Character Art!

Seeing as this will be our last Comic-Con hurrah with the entire cast of "The Twilight Saga," we're going out with a bloody bang (no whimpering here!). Yesterday, MTV News was lucky enough to snag the holy trinity (Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner) along with author Stephenie Meyer and the rest of the Cullen coven for our two-hour livestream straight from San Diego. Expect many more "Twilight" goodies during our today's show (which airs shortly at 1 p.m. ET), but in the meantime, we have something else for you to sink your teeth into: EXCLUSIVE "Breaking Dawn - Part 2" character art featuring the Cullens!

The images are being used on trading cards at the Con, but we have your first online look at the art! And the gang is pretty much all here: Alice (Ashley Greene), Emmett (Kellan Lutz), Rosalie (Nikki Reed), Jasper (Jackson Rathbone), Carlisle (Peter Facinelli) and Esme (Elizabeth Reaser). Just look at how fierce they all are! If the Volturi had laid eyes on these steely gazes before leaving for Forks, we have a feeling they would just hunkered down in Volterra. Forever.

Want to see even more character art? Be sure to click over to Fandango and Yahoo! who are also debuting first looks today.

And if you missed any of our "Twilight" Comic-Con Takeover from yesterday, be sure to watch all the goodness!

  • Stephenie Meyer Could See 'Twilight' Reboot Happening In 15 Years

As part of yesterday's "Twilight" Takeover of our Comic-Con coverage, MTV News' Josh Horowitz got a rare treat: sitting down for a chat with Stephenie Meyer, a.k.a. the woman without whom our favorite vampire saga would never have existed. And since Stephenie has already seen a rough cut of "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn: Part 2," we had to ask: What's her totally unbiased, impartial opinion of how it looks? Because, y'know, she obviously has a lot of distance.

"Oh yeah, I have no emotional ties to this movie," she joked. But it turns out that Stephenie feels the same as the film's cast when it comes to what makes "Breaking Dawn: Part 2" most interesting: "In this, the standout is Kristen [Stewart] as a vampire," she said. "It's awesome."

And part of what makes it awesome, according to the author, is Kristen's amazing performance in the role of Bella.

"She's completely changed," she explained. "It's subtle, it's not this huge shift, but if you watch everything she does, it's a little bit different. And it isn't—in a very good way, it's not how I saw it in my head. It's new, and I love that. It makes it way more fun for me."

Oh, and speaking of new things: There are certain things in the film, including the much-discussed showdown between Cullen loyalists and the deadly Volturi, that aren't necessarily true-blue to the source material. How does Stephenie feel about that? Totally fine, actually!

"I think it works really well with the book, in its own way," she said. "When the movie's out I can [discuss] in more detail, but it fits really well."

Okay, and last question: Believe it or not, people are already discussing a reboot of "The Twilight Saga"—even before the final film has hit theaters. (See what you've unleashed, "The Amazing Spider-Man"? Madness!) And though she isn't exactly enthused about an immediate remake of her vampire romance, Stephenie admits that she's not opposed to the idea sometime in the future.

"I think that obviously that could happen, and in the right scenario it might be something I'd be excited about, I mean, 15 years down the line," she mused. "It would be cool to revisit it in 15 years. It would be fun."

Stick with MTV as we bring San Diego Comic-Con to you with wall-to-wall convention coverage from the panels to the streets. Hosts Josh Horowitz and Steven Smith are onboard for live broadcasts on fan-favorite movies, comic creators, TV shows, cosplay, gaming and more!

What do you think of the idea of a "Twilight" reboot? Too soon?

  • Style Superstar: Maria Sharapova Aces The Competition

The ESPY Awards, in which athletes and actors alike come together to honor this year's most outstanding feats of physicality, were this week—and much as we all love a good, tearjerking "Best Comeback" acceptance speech, the real thrill for your local fashion gossips is seeing our favorite lady athletes decked out in something other than sweat-drenched sports bras and grass-stained kneecaps. And this week, it was a star of a different sort who scored our Style Superstar honors! Who's this week's winner?

No doubt about it: Maria Sharapova was absolutely blazing in this crinkly slate blue J. Mendel dress with a keyhole detail, slightly dropped waist, and strategically placed paneling that showed off her amazing legs. Not that we haven't seen Maria look fierce before—particularly when she's schooling one of her opponents in competition—but this is a whole new level of blazing for the tennis star. And with a simple gold cuff and high-styled hair, Maria proved that she's as much a champion on the red carpet as she is on the court.

Meanwhile, it was a non-athlete who caught our nitpicky eye at the same event; Olivia Munn was stunning in a leave-nothing-to-the-imagination Giorgio Armani gown, the sort of dress that would ordinarily merit consideration for Superstar honors! But as any athlete knows, form is everything...and alas, we've gotta take points off for her insistence on pulling a twee pose while wearing a dress that's anything but. This crossed-at-the-ankles baby deer stance is fine in a cocktail dress (especially since, as every camera-savvy star knows, it makes your legs appear longer), but in a long and fitted gown, it just looks weird—and, worst of all, ruins the glamorous puddling effect where the skirt hits the floor. Here's hoping she brings better game to the next event.

  • 'Twilight' Never Ends For Kristen, Rob And Taylor

Yesterday, for a few short hours, our Comic-Con coverage went All "Twilight," All the Time, as cast members from "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2" joined us between fan greeting and panel participation for exclusive interviews about the big, bloody finale to the saga. And what happened when we gathered together with Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner for a final Comic-Con livestream dedicated to the movie franchise that made them famous? Well, for one, they all seemed a little confused.

"Coming into this day, it's a little strange for me," said Taylor. Because it did all start here...uh, four? Years ago?"

And even though shooting wrapped ages ago, the cast continues to have "Twilight" errands to do.

"We never really stopped doing Twilight stuff throughout the year," Rob said.

"Yeah," Kristen added, "me and Bill [Condon] were just doing voiceover. I'm not finished yet, it's very strange."

And when the movie is officially complete, what are its stars most looking forward to? It's a unanimous vote: Vampire Bella.

"Yes! I have arrived!" Kristen exclaimed, going on to say that she's especially psyched to see one particular scene on the big screen: "The first hunt, being able to physically [gestures]—it's like breaking a car in, I think it's going to be so cool," she said. "I think people are going to really dig it."

What does Kristen think about starting up a "Fifty Shades of Grey" book club with her castmates? How does Rob feel about their fourth-year-in-a-row "Best Kiss" win at the Movie Awards? Watch the whole thing to find out!
