  • Robert Pattinson: How Has 'Breaking Dawn' Fatherhood Changed Him?

Edward Cullen has got a big new responsibility in "Breaking Dawn - Part 2." As a father to a newborn child (albeit a supernatural and fast-growing one), he's got to shape up to provide the right parenting for his child. And though he's been around for over a hundred years, that's something he doesn't have any experience with.

MTV News caught up with Robert Pattinson while he was promoting "Part 2" at Comic-Con, and he admitted that going from a love interest to a father was a big change for both his character and himself.

"For Edward, he kind of just started to relax in ['Breaking Dawn - Part 1'], and also, he's a father. I have an 11-year-old kid in this. It's completely different; he's like an adult," RPattz marveled. "It's really strange, and it's kind of hitting me at this period [in my life] when I'm thinking, 'Oh, I'm not a kid anymore,' when I'm playing it. So it's a strange experience, suddenly making that transition to playing fathers of 11-year-olds. I've been playing a 17-year-old for five years."

As this is the last "The Twilight Saga" movie to make an appearance at Comic-Con (or at least the last one any time soon), we figured that now is the best time to look back at how much the cast has changed in the five years since "Twilight" started filming. It turns out that Rob was actually the actor who was the most nervous when he got cast in the adaptation of Stephenie Meyer's beloved vampire novel.

"I was incredibly insecure at the beginning," Pattinson admitted. "I had never done an American movie before, and everyone was more experienced than me pretty much — even the people who hadn't done anything seemed more experienced than me — so, yeah, it felt very foreign to everyone. But it's changed as it's gone on," he said. "These are the people I've known for the longest in L.A."

  • 'Catching Fire' Star Willow Shields Psyched To 'Make Fun Of Katniss'

Is it time to see "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" yet? I feel like we've been talking about it enough recently to warrant an earlier release than November 2013. The problem with that wish is production has yet to begin on "Catching Fire," so that request is a no-go for now.

Luckily for us we have something to fill the "Hunger Games" void: a delightful chat with cast member Willow Shields, who stopped by our headquarters at Comic-Con to tease us with "Catching Fire" details and her thoughts on the future of Prim.

"We heard rumors about fall, but we're not exactly sure when," Willow said when asked for an update on the start date for filming on the sequel. "It's still a secret from me too."

Fair enough. Since we couldn't talk production specifics with Willow, we asked her which scenes from Suzanne Collins' book she was hoping to film for the movie version.

"It's a scene where Haymitch, Peeta and I are sitting around in our new house and we're stuffing our faces with candy and making fun of Katniss, and I just think it would be a really fun scene to do because we're just goofing around and having fun," Willow said. "And although Katniss gets mad at us, we're still having fun, so it would be a fun scene to shoot plus I would be able to shoot a scene with Josh [Hutcherson] and Woody Harrelson, so that would be really fun."

Speaking about her character's arc in the series, Willow went on to say she's very much looking forward to literally growing up with her character, a la the "Harry Potter" cast.

"I'm excited to grow up with Prim's character, because I have basically three more movies, but I'm going to be 15 or 16 by the end, but I started off when I was 10," she said. "So it's going to be really interesting to go start to finish and just to see what a difference my acting has become, and just growing up with that character is going to be really fun."

  • Kristen Stewart: 'Breaking Dawn' Animal Sex Got Us Rated R

If you thought the sex scenes from "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn -- Part 1" were crazy, just wait until you see what's in "Part 2."

Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson's vampire sexy times apparently got so steamy that the filmmakers found out that "Part 2" would be rated R if they kept them in there. Based on the footage we saw at San Diego Comic-Con, Kristen has passionately tackled her newly undead character, so it seems safe to assume she took that fervor to the bedroom as well.

"In ['Part 2'], we just wanted it to be animals, you're not humans anymore," Kristen said during the movie's Comic-Con press conference. "Yeah, how do you do that? We tried, and they told us it was rated R, and we were like [snaps]."

This isn't the first time the sex scenes in the "Twilight" movies have gotten the series in trouble with the MPAA. The sex scenes in "Breaking Dawn - Part 1" nearly got the movie slapped with an R rating until director Bill Condon decided to tone them down. Kristen expressed some frustration with finding the balance between age-appropriate intimate scenes and bringing across the crazy sex that was supposed to occur in the novel.

"The ratings, man. It's a tricky thing," she said. "We're supposed to have mind-boggling, otherworldly sex in 'Breaking Dawn - 1,' and we really — this is weird — tried to keep the first one sweet. It was really just about discovery. Nothing about this series is raunchy."

KStew also took some time out to share her connection with the fans, who have been supporting "The Twilight Saga" for years at Comic-Con.

"I have been obsessed with this thing and it's been such a personal experience and you look over and there are other people that identify with things that I do and that shared energy is the coolest," she said. "It's very igniting, it spreads. You like something and you can share it with your friend. Suddenly you guys love it — do you know what I mean? — because you share it. I don't know why this thing was the one that people became obsessed with, but I think it sort of just lit."

Are you even more excited for "Breaking Dawn: Part 2" now that you know the vampire sex scenes are going to be crazy awesome? Tell us in the comments section below or on Twitter!
