  • Justin Bieber Wishes Beyonce A Happy Birthday

Today, Beyoncé will Run the World (or, at the very least, her besties' evening plans) considering it's her birthday! The songstress turns 31 years old today, and we aren't the only ones blasting 4 on repeat in celebration.

Among the stars wishing Bey glad tidings via Twitter was Justin Bieber, who's been anything but shy regarding his crush on the "Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)" belter. But, seeing as Beyoncé is no single lady, and Justin has his own lady love in the form of fellow pop tart Selena Gomez, we'll assume this is a purely friendly missive. (Though we don't blame him for keeping the date on his calendar just in case.)

We'd like to join Justin in wishing you a very happy birthday, Beyoncé! We hope your 31st year finds you Crazy in Love and, as always, Irreplaceable.

Leave your birthday wishes for Beyoncé in the comments!

  • 'Pitch Perfect' Bellas Take On Nicki Minaj

"Bella" may mean "beautiful" in Italian, but these Bellas don't mind getting down and dirrrrty too.

In the upcoming a capella comedy, "Pitch Perfect," Anna Kendrick plays Becca, a college freshman who reluctantly joins her campus' formerly winning all-female singing group. But it's a restructuring year for the Bellas—headed by Brittany Snow and "True Blood" actress Anna Camp—and they recruit a rag-tag collection of songstresses to win back the title from the rival guy group, the Treblemakers.

The film doesn't hit theaters until October 5, and if you've exhausted the EXCLUSIVE sneak we debuted during last week's Fall Movie Preview, we have a new clip to get you in harmony. Feast your eyes on the "Pitch Perfect" lip dub, in which the film's stars enthusiastically shake and shimmy to Nicki Minaj's "Starships" (one of our personal faves!).

Click play on the clip above to partake in the pitchslap, and be sure to check out the flick when it hits theaters next month.

  • Who's Taylor Swift's Leading Man In 'Never Ever' Vid? Meet Noah Mills

That Taylor Swift sure knows how to write ridiculously catchy tunes. The VMA performer's new record-breaking single, "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together," is nearly impossible to get out of your head, and its corresponding video is equally enthralling.

In addition to being delighted by the clip's lighthearted and whimsical tone, one of the most enjoyable elements is Taylor's tall, dark and hot "ex" in the video, played by model-turned-actor Noah Mills. MTV News was lucky enough to snag a sit-down interview with Noah recently to get lost in his eyes get the goods on his experience shooting the vid.

"When I met her and then [director Declan Whitebloom], they very much have this [shorthand]. They like to keep it light and jokey," he explained. "It's really smart, really witty and really quick. It was one take for the whole video, and then they had the band in those animal outfits which they were stoked about. They pitched the idea, and I understood it. The inspiration is pretty obvious."

When asked for his opinion on the quick costume changes that Swift described, Noah admitted that he had it easier because all he had to do was change shirts. And not only that, but he has plenty of experience with the quick-change trick, thanks to his work in fashion shows.

"Yeah, they kept bringing that up: 'This is like backstage at a runway show, right?' And yeah, there are some similarities," he said.

Noah went on to say that he enjoyed getting into character via Taylor's always-descriptive lyrics. For example, Taylor sings, "And you would hide away and find your peace of mind with some indie record that's much cooler than mine."

"You hear what the lyrics are saying and think, 'Okay, if you're talking about this album you're listening to that's cooler than mine, I know that I'm listening to some album and subliminally sending some messages that I'm not in love with your music,' so you pick that up and as the character you play it," Noah explained.

Seriously, how cute is he? For further proof, check out Noah's tongue-in-cheek plea to Taylor for an invite to be her VMA escort.

  • 'Vampire Diaries' Season 4 Trailer: 'Your Fangs Come In Yet?'

    by Ryan J. Downey

We've been squeezing "The Vampire Diaries" folks for information about season four at every available opportunity, and we're happy to report that they haven't steered us wrong! Nina Dobrev, Ian Somerhalder, Paul Wesley and executive producer Julie Plec told us that things will kick off with Elena struggling through the (spoiler alert, if you haven't seen season three!) human-to-vampire tradition and this brand new official trailer gives us a nice taste of exactly that.

It's amazing how much a minute and ten seconds can reveal. We get to see Elena asking the Salvatore brothers, "Am I dead?" We see that Stefan wants to explore every possibility imaginable to prevent Elena from transitioning to full-on fanger. Damon is more accepting of the situation, emphasizing to both his brother and the girl they both love that she has to feed pronto or she'll die for real. Bonnie, meanwhile, is working on a somewhat sketchy plan that may or may not involve killing Elena and bringing her back to life. Sheriff Forbes is dealing with some new bad guys (one of whom is sporting a priest collar—shout-out to the final season of "Buffy"?) while her daughter, Caroline, is getting down with some steamy hybrid make out action. As in, Tyler possessed by Klaus, we think!

Damon definitely blames Matt for Elena's situation (again, if you haven't watched the season three finale, what are you waiting for? And why are you still reading?) and we see him taking out some of that anger in this trailer. There's also a car crash involving Rebekah and another blonde vamp.

Perhaps our favorite moment is when a clearly emotionally exhausted Jeremy asks his big sister, with an excellent dryness, "Your fangs come in yet?"

On October 11, we'll get to see those fangs!

What do you think of this first look at season four of "The Vampire Diaries"? Tell us in the comments and on Twitter!

  • Nina Dobrev In Seventeen: 'I Didn't Want To Be Dating One Of My Costars'

Today's most enviable back-to-school look that we'd never be actually brave enough to wear in a classroom? It belongs to Nina Dobrev, who's on the cover of Seventeen's October issue—and, in the accompanying photo shoot, out in a sunny field wearing some seriously daring fall fashions. Nina sports soft knits, structured leather and super-high stiletto heels in her playful pics and offers up some gossip-worthy insights on her fashion sense and her relationships with her "Vampire Diaries" co-stars... yes, including that one.

Among the interesting tidbits from Nina's interview: a confession that our favorite fashionista doesn't keep up with the online commentary about her outfits.

"I try not to read best-dressed lists or anything like that. For every good thing, there will often be a not-so-nice thing people would say," she explained. But if she did happen to get her feelings hurt by someone throwing shade at her style sense? She's got a ready-made support group!

"Girls weekend with the' Vampire Diaries' girls has become a big deal!" she said. "It's our quality time. It's so much fun to unload and not feel guilty complaining or talking about your insecurities or bonding over things that you thought you were on your own about."

And speaking of "Vampire Diaries," no conversation with Nina would be complete without a question or two about the blue-eyed hottie who went from her co-star to boyfriend...especially since, two years ago, she told Seventeen that she'd never ever want to date a co-star. Oops.

"It's funny that I said that," Nina admitted. "But you know what? It was honestly what I believed at the time. I didn't want to be dating one of my costars—my goal on the show was to be professional. But sometimes you can't help who you have a connection with, and you can only fight it for so long—which I did for a really, really long time."

What do you think of Nina's about-face on co-star dating? (Yeah, we like it too.) Tell us in the comments!

  • Emma Watson On 'Perks' And Pixie Cuts

Emma Watson has gone from Hogwarts student to all-out style icon since we all said avada kedavra to the "Harry Potter" franchise last summer—and though it seemed up in the air at first whether the artist formerly known as Hermione would keep up her acting career, it looks like she's officially committed to keeping herself on the Hollywood radar... starting with next month's cover of Glamour! Emma is sporting a sleek bob and a Mona Lisa smile on the front of the magazine, where she's appearing to promote her upcoming role in "The Perks of Being a Wallflower." And inside, she's opening up about her future plans, her current haircut and her prickly past issues with keeping things private.

But first, about that hair: We loved Emma's daring pixie cut, and it's nice to hear that we're not the only ones! Turns out, the actress is also sad not to have her short hair anymore, and not just 'cause of the awkwardness of growing it out.

"I have to [have longer hair] for roles," she explained. "But if I had it my way, I would have just kept it short forever. Of course, men like long hair. There's no two ways about it. The majority of the boys around me were like, 'Why did you do that? That's such an error.' And I was like, 'Well, honestly, I don't really care what you think!' I've never felt so confident as I did with short hair—I felt really good in my own skin."

Of course, Emma could always take a cue from Michelle Williams and make a cute crop the turning point of her signature style...but hey, there's plenty of time for that. Especially since her role in "The Perks of Being a Wallflower" has (yaaay!) officially decided her in favor of keeping up with the acting.

"Making this movie was so pivotal for me because I realized I do really want to be an actress, which wasn't something I fully knew, since 'Harry Potter' was such a singular experience," she said. "Obviously I'm nervous to see what other people think, but it kind of doesn't matter to me. It's so cheesy to say this, but it's the journey, not the end goal, that's important."

Well said. And considering how much we lurve Emma around here, we're psyched to be along for the ride.

  • Kristen Stewart Is Cover Crushworthy In British Vogue

If you're wondering where to next catch a glimpse of Kristen Stewart in print, try checking out one of your higher-end newsstands next month: The actress has snagged the coveted role of cover girl for British Vogue, where she's getting the full glamour treatment (those lips! that dress!) and offering up some timely insights on how much she doesn't have it together for a life in the public eye. (Among the statements that ring especially true in light of the field day the media had with her breakup last month: "I'm not that smooth.")

But while we're psyched to see Kristen in the spotlight across the pond—and her sultry cover look is definitely a new favorite—we can't help waxing a little nostalgic for some of her previous stints as a cover girl. Our favorites?

    Interview, November 2009
Still rocking her punk haircut for "The Runaways," Kristen was fierce and unfazed for this moody magazine appearance in which she smiled not even once.

    W, September 2011
Move over, Brigitte Bardot: Kristen was a serious beauty with big hair, full lips and mod makeup for a shoot with a distinctly '60s style.

    Vanity Fair, July 2012
Sequins, satin and a puffy little fur friend were the perfect complements to KStew's Vanity Fair appearance, in which she referred to her more rabid haters as "voracious, starving s--- eaters."

  • Meet The Couples Of '10 Years'

We *may* have attended our 10-year high-school reunion with our best gal pal from the sixth grade, but, then, not everyone is as sophisticated as we are. I mean, eat your hearts out married people, amiright!? Thankfully, nearly every relationship status Facebook could dream up gets its due in the upcoming comedy "10 Years."

The film boasts a jam-packed ensemble cast of Hollywood's hottest, including Channing Tatum, Jenna Dewan-Tatum, Rosario Dawson, Ari Graynor, Justin Long and Chris Pratt. And if this post's lead and the film's title didn't already give it away, we follow the group as they return for their decade-in-the-making high school reunion and find out their classmates' fates.

While many of the couplings are fairly straightforward, there are a few that earn a check mark in the "It's Complicated" box. Take, for example, the relationship between Channing and Jenna's characters. They've been dating for years, and Channing's about ready to pop the question, but he can't help but wonder what's become of his high school love (i.e. the one who may have gotten away) played by Rosario.

You'll have to check out "10 Years" when it hits theaters September 14 to find out how this love story concludes, but in the meantime, be sure to check out our gallery of the couples of "10 Years" by clicking on the image above!

Haven't gotten your fill of ooey-gooey love candy yet? Watch our Fall Movie Preview Week EXCLUSIVE clip in which Channing just can't take his eyes of Jenna. (The only thing that could make this snippet more romantic is if they broke out into choreographed dance...)
