  • Emma Watson's VMA Perk? Meeting Imagine Dragons!

Ever since we heard Imagine Dragons' infectious ditty "It's Time" in "The Perks of Being a Wallflower" trailer, the Las Vegas band has been getting serious play on our Spotify. And, as it turns out, one of the leads of the upcoming adaptation is as equally enamored as we are.

Emma Watson and her "Perks" co-star Ezra Miller were on hand at last night's MTV Video Music Awards to introduce Green Day's performance (and, of course, stir up a little intrigue in their film, which opens September 21).

With that, Crushers, we wish you a wonderful weekend! Talk to you Monday!

  • Spot The Differences: 'Breaking Dawn - Part 2' Trailer

Dawn broke in fantastic fashion at last night's MTV Video Music Awards when stars Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner, Jackson Rathbone, Peter Facinelli and Elizabeth Reaser presented the LAST TRAILER EVER for "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2." And it was good. Real good.

Of course, it wasn't our first look at the concluding chapter of author Stephenie Meyer's vampire romance. An earlier clip debuted in June, giving us the teeniest taste of the big battle to come. But what additional morsels emerged in this latest look? Let's play a round of Spot the Differences! Winner gets a cougar corpse!

    Bella Bags a Mountain Lion
The first "Breaking Dawn - Part 2" trailer gave plenty of play to Bella's brand-new vamp speed, showing her sprinting through the forests of Forks. In the new clip, we see just how much of a transformation the once-clumsy teen has undergone, as she flies through the air with the greatest of ease to take out her much-larger prey. Mmmmm, dinner!

    Renesmee Gives Good Face
Thanks to director Bill Condon's cunning camera work, utilizing plenty of angles and shadows, we never got an unfettered view of little Renesmee's sweet face, which is curious considering the Volturi's belief that she's an immortal child is what precipitates the entire plot line of "Breaking Dawn - Part 2." Well, here, finally, Bella and Edward's spawn reveals herself, in the snowy woods with mom and Grandpa Cullen (around the 45-second mark) and later on the battlefield and in her bedroom (after the 1-minute mark). Welcome to the rest of your career, Mackenzie Foy!

    Dakota Fanning Vamps
Our Volturi vision was also a bit obscured in the previous trailer, with Michael Sheen doing more than his fair share of the scenery chewing. Well, we still aren't awarded with significant peeks at Jamie Campbell Bower, Cameron Bright, Charlie Bewley or Daniel Cudmore, but look! There's a cat-eyed Dakota Fanning ready for her close up. With her intriguing, anguish-inflicting powers, Jane's the one we want to see anyway, right?

    Edward's on Ice
Where the first trailer merely hinted at an epic battle — with the Cullen clan and Co. running toward the Volturi — this latest look doesn't hold back. In one neat effects sequence, we see Edward jump-smash a patch of ice, sending Volturi flailing into the murky depths below. Pretty cool (literally).

    It's Tag-Team Time
What a perfect metaphor for their forever life together: In another action sequence (and perhaps our favorite one thus far), Edward lifts Bella, spinning her around so she can roundhouse kick several of the bloodsucking baddies. With Forks High School behind her, perhaps it's time Bella look into work as a stunt woman?

  • Style Superstar: Miley Cyrus Is Gothic And Gorgeous At VMAs

Call us biased, but after getting a look at last night's MTV Video Music Awards red carpet, we think it's safe to say that the VMAs are the best and boldest awards event ever—at least when it comes to the fashion on display! So many of our favorite stars were out last night, and sporting bold looks that eschewed conservative couture in favor of pushing the envelope in fun and fabulous directions. And indeed, some of them were auto-contenders for this week's Style Superstar. Whose gothic blondness nearly made us black out...with envy?

Miley Cyrus, the honor is all yours. The just-blonded-and-buzzed star gave her new hair its red-carpet debut with a sky-high style—call it Electric Fence Chic!—dressing up the punky look with a long-sleeved Emilio Pucci gown in matte black chiffon. Miley seems determined these days to define her unique style sense with a more grown-up red carpet look, and this one is right in line with the edgy vibe she's sported this summer: a dramatic neckline that showed off her womanly assets, sheer slim-line paneling, long sleeves and a wispy skirt that gives this evening gown a glam, gothic twist. Add in the glittering clutch, some dagger-shaped earrings and light pink lips, and her look is a shoo-in for Style Superstar!

Meanwhile, Miley wasn't the only one who looked to be taking fashion advice from the Addams Family; gothic dresses with lace accents, sheer inlays and burnout velvet embellishments were everywhere last night, including on the leggy Ke$ha. But the pattern on her pretty, delicate dress is getting busted by that over-the-shoulder cascade of hair and the clodhoppers on her feet are too heavy a finishing touch. And so, alas, like Ke$ha's footsteps throughout the evening, this look landed with a thud.

Check in with our gal pals at MTV Style for their full fashion recap from last night's VMAs!

What do you think of our VMAs best and worst dressed?

  • 'Catching Fire' Gets Electrified By Beetee

After weeks of casting famine, we're feasting once again!

Lionsgate announced today that it has reaped yet another tribute for "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire," and this addition is electric. Literally. Meet District 3 representative Beetee (also known as "Volts"), who will be played by actor Jeffrey Wright.

If Jeffrey's name isn't immediately recognizable, his face surely will be. Because he's that guy from some of the biggest films of the past decade, including Daniel Craig's James Bond movies. He also boasts credits in "The Ides of March," "Source Code," "Syriana" and "W."

Jeffrey joins actress Amanda Plummer (who will play Wiress, otherwise known as "Nuts") as the second half of District 3's Quarter Quell contingency. His character Beetee is a whiz with electricity (hence his nickname) and his unique set of skills play a pivotal role in the events of "Catching Fire."

Production is reportedly set to begin on the sequel this month in Atlanta and will hit theaters on November 22, 2013.

  • 5 Things To Do Before Seeing 'Bachelorette'

    by Jessica Marshall

Ahh weddings. The flowers, the aisle, the vows, the bone-crushing hangover from the bachelorette party the night before...

For those of you who have never been to an actual bachelorette party, or those who have but would like to experience one without the nasty day-after side effects, "Bachelorette" hits theaters this week, offering a booze-laden, stripper-tastic night of all the traditional debauchery packed into a 91-minute (nonalcoholic) punch.

In this case, bride-to-be Becky (Rebel Wilson) gets a little more than she bargained for in pre-wedding festivities when she asks three of her old high school chums to serve as bridesmaids. The problem is, those old pals used to make merciless fun of her back in school, and they haven't quite grown up. Kirsten Dunst, Isla Fisher and Lizzy Caplan star as the trio of maladjusted b'maids who attempt to throw a bachelorette party for Becky that starts out as an innocent night of drinking and male strippers, and spirals out control into an experience that even getting blackout drunk can't make them forget.

So, ahead of getting your party on at the theater, here are five things you should do before seeing "Bachelorette":

    Attend a bachelorette party
Whether it's a trip to banana-hammock central, a "guess who brought those panties" party or just a good, old-fashioned girls' night, bachelorette parties are guaranteed fun. And since "Bachelorette" is all about that sacred pre-wedding ritual, it's all the more reason to have one under your belt before seeing it.

    Be in a wedding
You will never know the true meaning of friendship and sacrifice that the ladies in "Bachelorette" know until you've been in a wedding. And if you have no friends getting married, just bribe someone to let you into their wedding party. Promise them 24/7 on-call response in the event of a bridal emergency. Promise to clean up the mess of any meltdowns and take those "lap" dances at the batch party to your grave.

    Try on a heinous dress
Part of the responsibility of being in a wedding involves taking one for the team. That is, you may be required by Bridezilla to wear a dress in public that, let's just say, you'd like to burn in effigy during a post-wedding bonfire. Even though the b'maids in "Bachelorette" end up wearing cute dresses, we should not delude ourselves about the reality here.

    Watch "Bridesmaids"
Much like "Bachelorette," the focus of the hit comedy "Bridesmaids" is on the mishaps and incontinence incompetence of the b'maids. Kristen Wiig, Maya Rudolph and Melissa McCarthy (who got an Oscar nod for her hilarious performance) star, and you're not likely to forget their antics, for better or for worse.

    Watch "Terriers"
"Bachelorette" is the brainchild of writer Leslye Headland, who was previously a staff writer on the short-lived but critically acclaimed FX series, "Terriers," starring Donal Logue and Michael Raymond-James. The show was about an ex-cop and an ex-con who partner to run their own unlicensed private investigation practice. It's a far cry thematically from "Bachelorette," but it will give you an idea of Leslye's comedic style.

    BONUS: Get married
Got get 'em, Bridezilla. And choose your wedding party wisely.

Will you be saying "I do" to "Bachelorette" this weekend? Tell us in the comments and on Twitter!

  • Kristen Stewart Explains Her Mountain Lion Rage

Kristen Stewart took a "Twilight" timeout last night to support her other upcoming film, "On the Road," alongside co-stars Garrett Hedlund and Kirsten Dunst at the Toronto International Film Festival. It was her first public appearance since the cheating scandal, and the 22-year-old looked chic in a floral Zuhair Murad dress as she enthused about the premiere's robust turnout.

"Dude, I'm really happy that they're here for 'On the Road,' " she told MTV News. "I think most of them were fans before I had anything to do with it, which is why they're here anyways, so it's awesome."

Be sure to check out Film.com's review of Kristen Stewart's "On the Road"!

Meanwhile, back in the states at the MTV Video Music Awards, Kristen's bloodsucking and shape-shifting cohorts (including Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner, Jackson Rathbone, Peter Facinelli and Elizabeth Reaser) were on hand to present the final trailer for "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2." And after having gotten a sneak peek at the clip, our own Josh Horowitz had just one question for the starlet: What do you have against mountain lions?

"I don't like cats. I'm a dog person," she joked. "You know what I'm saying?"

Yeah, sure we do, Kristen. And we'll be sure not to tell Max.

  • Miley Cyrus Isn't Planning Her Wedding...Yet

Wedding planning can wait for Miley Cyrus. Though the songstress and fiance Liam Hemsworth have been engaged for three months, Miley is in no hurry to walk down the aisle, especially when there's new music to make, y'all!

MTV News caught up with the 19-year-old during last night's MTV Video Music Awards pre-show, where the starlet reminisced about her busy year and looked forward to her upcoming single.

"This year has been awesome," she enthused. "I told everyone 2012 was going to be my year, and it's been really good."

The obvious highlight is her betrothal to "Last Song" co-star Liam, who popped the question on May 31 with a 3.5-carat antique diamond, set in an 18-karat gold band by celebrity jeweler Neil Lane. But Miley won't be tamed just yet.

"I'm so focused on my record right now that I don't really have time for anything else," she said when asked how the wedding planning was progressing. "I feel married enough. I feel like I don't need the paper to tell us that, so I'm focusing hard on this record and once this record is the biggest record I've ever had, then I'll do the wedding planning."

You hear that guys? We're just going to have to wait a little bit longer to Party in the USA.

  • Kristen Stewart Sports A Daring Dress At The 'On The Road' Premiere

Every day a multitude of stars wander through the halls of MTV News to talk about their latest projects and goof around with staff members. But sometimes we catch stars elsewhere, and that's why we put together Spotted!, a daily compendium of stars in the wild.

What's the best way to reemerge from low-profile seclusion after a shocking, highly-publicized, much-debated breakup? ...We don't know! (Which is why we're not celebrities and/or dating one, thankyouverymuch.) But it's safe to say that Kristen Stewart nailed it when she made her first public appearance in a month at the Toronto International Film Festival premiere of "On the Road," where she showed up looking perfectly put-together and spent lots of time happily posing for photos with her co-stars.

Kristen looked seductive and sophisticated with a sleek ponytail, black pumps and an autumnal-feeling floral dress from the Zuhair Murad fall collection—and despite her notorious dislike of the spotlight, she spent more than 40 minutes working the red carpet, schmoozing with fans and photographers like a champ.

  • New 'Breaking Dawn - Part 2' Trailer: Bella Is A Badass

Stars Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner, Jackson Rathbone, Elizabeth Reaser and Peter Facinelli may have done the honors at the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards, presenting the final trailer for "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2," but Kristen Stewart's Bella Swan-Cullen is arguably the biggest butt-kicker in this clip.

The 90-second teaser opens much like the one that preceded it, with a newly turned Bella sprinting through the forests of Forks. But what we didn't see before was the bloodsucker bagging herself a big cat, in grand fashion. Later on, Bella's new-found strength is utilized in a WWE-worthy maneuver in which Edward lifts and swings her into a bunch of waiting baddies.

Bella's brand-new badass-ness aside, there are plenty of other fresh morsels to chew on from the trailer. We finally get our first unfettered look at little Renesmee on celluloid (not that we don't like the back of her head, but still...), several nice seconds of Dakota Fanning and her liner-rimmed red peepers and lots of vampire-on-vampire action in the form of an epic, snow-laced battle.

Now if only the movie could come out before November 16.

What do you think about this final "Breaking Dawn - Part 2" trailer? Tell us in the comments and on Twitter!
