  • Matt Lanter's Dream 'Hunger Games' Role Isn't Finnick

Everyone wants in on the "The Hunger Games" sequel after the first installment completely exceeded box-office expectations last month. Kellan Lutz—a fan favorite for the role of Finnick—recently said he'd love to take part in any of the films. Heck, we're even gunning for roles. We'd be extremely convincing as District 12 citizens buying bread from Peeta and gawking at Gale in the Hob.

Another actor who could see himself in Panem is "90210" hottie Matt Lanter. His dream role? Primrose Everdeen. You can totally see that, right? Us too. That's what immediately came to our minds. Not any of the male tributes, like Finnick or Blight, or even Brutus or Beetee, who find themselves in the Quarter Quell. Nope. We thought of Primrose.

In all seriousness, the tweet made us laugh and we're kind of on Team Matt-For-Some-Role in "Catching Fire." Or better yet, he should grab some other CW stars and make a humorous parody. Ian Somerhalder can play Katniss, Blake Lively can play Peeta and Sophia Bush can play Gale.

All right, it sounded like a good idea in our heads five seconds ago. Don't mind us while we get carried away in our Tweet Dreams!

Could you see Matt Lanter in any of the "Catching Fire" roles? Let us know in the comments and on Twitter!

  • New 'True Blood' Teaser: Sam And Luna Cuddle, Cry

These teeny-tiny behind-the-scenes "True Blood" teasers keep dribbling in, and while the wait for season five's premiere continues, as always, to suck, at least this sneak peek offers some more info than its reticent little cousins. For instance: Sam and Luna are still together! And it looks like somebody is dead! No, wait: two somebodies! Ladies and gentlemen, we have dead people! OOOOOOOH.

In this clip, our favorite shifter couple sits on the couch—in the aftermath of a tragic discovery, apparently, as Luna cries and professes stunned confusion as to how anyone could have hurt...well, whoever. (But still! Dead people!) Sam, always a good dude, asks how he can comfort her...but before any comforting can take place, or any additional info can be leaked out to the slavering audience, there is a NOISE.

    "What was that?" asks Sam.

What, indeed? We can only guess; the teaser comes to an end right about there, leaving us with nothing but questions. But still... Woo hoo! Dead people and a mysterious noise! This is the best "True Blood" pre-season teaser ever! And it's definitely not like we've just grown so desperate for hints about the upcoming plot that we'll gratefully accept everything HBO throws at us. We love your scraps, HBO. Please don't turn off the scrap machine. We might actually die.

  • Ashley Fink Not Returning To 'Glee': Are You Sad To See Lauren Zizes Go?

Well, Gleeks, it looks like Lauren Zizes quitting New Directions and dumping Puck was the beginning of the end for Ashley Fink's character on "Glee." Despite promises from series creator Ryan Murphy that she'd stick around for a new story line with her BFF Chris Colfer, Ashley is not returning to the Fox musical series.

The actress spoke with The Insider saying, "It is what it is. Lauren's somewhere in that school, she's just not on camera or being talked about [laughs]. She's involved in activities that aren't televised."

Even though Ashley's a good sport about her lack of scenes, she misses being on the quirky show. "Of course I miss me on 'Glee,'" she said. "I miss everybody. I miss the fun experience that show is. But 'Glee' is very much a fly by the seat of your pants [operation] in the way that best laid plans never quite come together... I haven't heard anything from Ryan, but I visited [while they were filming] prom, so I got to see everybody, which was great."

Wait—so maybe we'll get a glimpse of Lauren in the background? "No! Are you kidding me?" she laughed. "I didn't have to be wearing a dress so I didn't wear one."

Bummer. We'll admit we loved her relationship with Puck. They were oddly perfect for each other in the way they were cruel, yet loving. It was definitely an over-the-top romance, but it was also fun to watch develop. We were hoping Lauren would have a change of heart and rekindle their romance. Suffice to say, we're really going to miss Ashley on the show (and this mysterious story line they scrapped!). Will you? Vote in our poll below and leave your thoughts in the comments section.

Will you miss Ashley Fink's character, Lauren Zizes, on "Glee"?

  • How I Met My Hollywood Crush: Ed Westwick

Let's be honest, we all have a Hollywood Crush—a cutie whose sheer existence inspires countless fever dreams and inestimable hours of Google Image gawking. For a lucky few, those fantasies become reality when faced with said star...in real life. Welcome to How I Met My Hollywood Crush, in which readers recall the time they rubbed elbows with their special celebrity someone!

Ryan Koleda tells us about the time she went to meet the cast of "Saturday Night Live" and ended up bumping into her ultimate celeb crush—"Gossip Girl" star and British bad boy Ed Westwick!

One Saturday, while visiting a friend and her sister in New York City, we decided to try to meet the cast of "Saturday Night Live." It was a cold, January night, so once it was time to go, we bundled up and left for our adventure.

In order to make the time pass, my friend's sister and I played a little game. We kept pretending to see Drake, whom my friend absolutely adores. She was not so easily fooled and kept ignoring us. Subsequently, when I randomly exclaimed, "Ed Westwick??!!" my friend did not believe me. As I recall, her reply was, "Oh, Ryan, shut up." Because why would Ed Westwick be at "Saturday Night Live"? But much to her surprise when she turned around he was really there, walking out of the studio.

Other girls waiting on the opposite side of the door, also noticed when he walked out. While they screamed, "Chuck Bass!!!" we sought to get his attention by calling out his real name. Whether it was because we said his actual name or because he was exiting in our direction, Ed Westwick came over to us.

I was absolutely thrilled. Going to school in Massachusetts and only being able to visit the city on weekends or when I was home for an extended break, I never thought I would get the chance to see anyone from the "Gossip Girl" cast, let alone my favorite cast member.

As he approached, we asked him for a picture. He said yes, as long as it was quick. We obliged and thanked him for his time. I was absolutely dying. I had no words. (In fact, I think my friend did most of the talking to him, because I was so taken aback.) But that is How I Met My Hollywood Crush, in a completely random and unexpected manner!

  • 'Girls' Recap: 'Vagina Panic'

Show of hands: Who else's roommate walked in on them watching the opening moments of last night's "Girls" and assumed they were indulging in some secret porn obsession? Just me?

With little foreplay or forewarning, "Vagina Panic" opened on Hannah and her hook-up going at it. Like, really going at it. Vigorously. And let's just say I'll never look at my old Cabbage Patch lunchbox the same way after Adam's fantasy of finding 11-year-old Hannah on the side of the street. But, hey, at least he offered her a post-coital Gatorade! Gotta keep up those electrolyte levels!

Meanwhile, in another Brooklyn bedroom, Marnie and Charlie were also having the sex, but with much less enthusiasm. In fact, Marnie was so disgusted by the sight of Charlie that she kept her eyes closed much of the time. A clearly frustrated Charlie complained that he no longer knew how to make love to her, which only seemed to enrage Marnie more. "He's so busy respecting me, he looks right past me," she lamented to Hannah.

Hannah got her own rude awakening the following morning: namely that Adam rarely uses condoms. Thinking she may have contracted something, Hannah did the only logical thing and spent the morning googling "diseases that come from no condom for one second" and "stuff that gets up around the sides of condoms." With no satisfying search results, Hannah decided to make an appointment for an STD test at the clinic where Jessa was going to have her abortion.

Speaking of Jessa's abortion, the whole situation had—rightfully—left her very out of sorts. So much so, that Shoshanna's attempt at advice sharing from "Listen Ladies! A Tough Love Approach to the Tough Game of Love" (a total poor woman's "He's Just Not That Into You") left Jessa enraged and wandering the streets of Manhattan until her appointment.

Hannah left to go to a job interview, and as awkward as the episode's opening sex scene was, this was the moment that I had to mute upon repeat viewings. Hannah seemed to be hitting it off with her interviewer, talking up their favorite local bars and alma maters... until she went about 20 steps too far and jokingly accused him of date rape. Yikes. But really, is that ever anything someone would say during a job interview? I'm not sure that moment rang completely true for me.

Meanwhile, back at the women's clinic, everyone was dealing with their vagina panic differently. Shoshanna brought snacks, Marnie was sure she was barren and Jessa didn't show up at all. Instead, she was imbibing in drinks and bathroom sex in a bar around the corner. But good news! As her paramour discovered, Jessa had started her period, meaning no baby on board. Hannah did go through with her STD test (we'll learn the results next week), but perhaps the biggest revelation came from naive Shoshanna who admitted to Marnie that she was a virgin. Unsure of what to say to comfort her, Marnie reached: "I hit a puppy once with my car. I only had my learner's permit."

Fine, you win, Marnie! You're having sex and you have the better cringe-worthy horror story.

What did you think of last night's "Girls"? When will Marnie finally break up with Charlie? Should Hannah move on from Adam? Were you surprised by Shoshanna's admission? Leave your thoughts in the comments and on Twitter!

  • Francis Lawrence As 'Catching Fire' Director? Experts React

While most "Hunger Games" fans were extremely sad to see Gary Ross leave the franchise, it looks like they're ready to give director Francis Lawrence a warm welcome to Panem—should he accept Lionsgate's offer (we're hoping he does, as his music video directing history bodes well for the dystopian drama).

When we spoke to a few "Hunger Games" fansite experts recently, they largely agreed that Lawrence was a good choice for the job.

Hunger Games Examiner Sara Gundell said she was "really excited" that Lionsgate extended the offer to the "I Am Legend" director. "I had been really disappointed when Gary Ross left," she said. "And knowing that Francis Lawrence was going to take over, it got me excited again about the franchise. I think he's going to do really amazing things. And I think of all of the other directors that Lionsgate was considering, or that we know they were considering, he brought kind of everything to the table in my opinion."

Enjoying his previous work as a director, Arianna Ruiz from Down With The Capitol has full faith that Lawrence can give fans the "Catching Fire" flick they're waiting for. "I loved 'I Am Legend.' I loved 'Water for Elephants,' especially. So, when I found out that he was chosen to direct 'Catching Fire' I'm like, 'He can totally bring a movie that the fans want to see,'" she said.

Meanwhile, Amanda Belcher from The Hob is putting her trust in Lionsgate.

"I'm hoping that Lionsgate chose him because they really thought that he could do the 'Catching Fire' that fans really want to see, and that we deserve," she said. "I'm hoping that he can really come through and become a fan of the material, and take what screenplay is there and work with Suzanne [Collins] and [producer] Nina [Jacobson] and really pull this together for us."

What do you think of Francis Lawrence directing "Catching Fire"? Do you wish it went to someone else? Let us know in the comments and on Twitter!

  • We Put 'Lucky One' Stars Zac Efron, Tayor Schilling To The Nicholas Sparks Test

In addition to discussing the very serious subjects of pre-production training regimens and real-life Nicholas Sparks-inspired romantic moments with the stars and author of the recently released drama "The Lucky One," we thought we should have a little fun with Zac Efron and Taylor Schilling and test their Sparks movie knowledge, along with Sparks himself.

The first hard-hitting question,"Can you name three movies based on Nicholas Sparks books?" turned out to be a bit too easy for our quiz-ees because they knocked it out of the park.

Sparks chose to answer by naming the first three of his book-to-movie adaptations in order, but backwards. Zac and Taylor managed to name more than three titles, thanks to Zac's impressive-yet-random recall of "Nights in Rodanthe." I had to provide an assist with "A Walk To Remember" though.

The second half of the quiz was a little more challenging in that we gave them Sparks movie taglines and they had to match it with the film in question. Sparks knew each answer instantly, of course (I thought a few of those would trip him up, but they didn't), but I had to provide multiple choice answers and some serious hints to Zac and Taylor.

    1. "Behind every great love is a great story"
    2. "Is duty enough reason to live a lie?"
    3. "Find out who you are and do it on purpose"

To be fair, I had to look up each and every one of these. Answers below for those who are curious.

It should also be noted that when I presented this quiz, Zac and Taylor playfully asked what they were playing for, and I had to admit that I did not bring any "prizes," for their expertise. If any of you have any ideas for what they should "win," let me know!

Answers to the tagline question: 1. "The Notebook" 2. "Dear John" 3. "A Walk To Remember"

Would you ace a Nicholas Sparks adaptation quiz? Tell us in the comments and on Twitter!
