You'll probably want to withdraw a fistful of dollars from the ATM before tonight's Sneak Peek Week festivities begin, because you're gonna need 'em. We're welcoming to the stage Channing Tatum, Matthew McConaughey and screenwriter Reid Carolin to unveil a brand new clip from their upcoming stripper story "Magic Mike," which hits theaters June 29. In addition to showing us their goods (*wink wink*), the trio will sit down with MTV News' Josh Horowitz to discuss banana hammocks…or, you know, filmmaking. WHATEVER.
If you're a frequent Hollywood Crush reader, "Magic Mike" probably needs no further introduction, but just in case: The flick follows newbie exotic dancer The Kid (Alex Pettyfer) as he learns the ropes from old pro Mike (Channing). Of course, there's plenty more eye candy where that came from, including "White Collar" star Matt Bomer and "True Blood" hunk Joe Manganiello. Is it getting hot in here?
Anyway, gather those Benjamins (or maybe just Washingtons) and park those buns in your seat as we lay "Magic Mike" bare at 11 p.m. ET.!

History was one of the few classes I paid attention to while in school. Algebra? That was taken over by drawing hearts around Justin Timberlake's name in my notebook. Chemistry? Yeah, I happened to have that with a dreamy lab partner. History, however, I absorbed like a sponge, so I was tickled pink when I saw Jessica Biel's latest tweet.
She's of course referring to the quote attributed to Paul Revere, who was said to have shouted the phrase to warn the Americans of an incoming invasion. These Brits were no One Direction. They were out for blood. Anyway, Jessica's cheeky reference had me smiling once I saw the picture that accompanied the tweet. And speaking of her beau Justin Timberlake, did you hear they're working on a new movie together?
Jessica's set to star in "The Devil and the Deep Blue Sea" centering around a widower who attempts to overcome his wife's death by befriending an imaginative young girl. She's also acting as a producer on the film through her production company Iron Ocean Films. Justin's serving as music supervisor and will compose the songs for the movie. Not the 'NSYNC reunion I was hoping for, but I'll take it!
Maybe the flick and one of his songs will be up for the Golden Popcorn in a future MTV Movie Awards. There's still time to head over to MovieAwards.MTV.com to vote for this years nominees! The 2012 MTV Movie Awards air live this Sunday, June 3, at 9 p.m. ET.

The competition is stiff this year in the MTV Movie Awards Best Kiss category, but there's no performance anxiety for "Twilight" producer Wyck Godfrey! When we caught up with the man who's been responsible for heading things up behind the scenes on all four films in "The Twilight Saga"—including the most recent "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1"—he confessed to being all kinds of confident that Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart will be taking home the Golden Popcorn for the fourth consecutive year in a row. Why? Er, let's just say that the shattered furniture and shredded pillows that come later in the film might have something to do with it.
"The Best Kiss is when it's really about a prelude to sex," Wyck grinned. "Sometimes that takes it up a notch, and that could be what might get us over the hump."
...We see what you did there, sir. Over the hump, indeed! But really, the producer may be onto something when he says that the promise of post-kiss, bedroom-destroying, human-on-vampire nookie is what makes the "Breaking Dawn" wedding liplock extra-special—and exciting enough to come out ahead of even the steamy smooch in "The Vow."
"I think the build-up for four movies, and to watch these two finally have sex, is such that when that happens in 'Breaking Dawn,' the audience is fully with it, wants to see every frame of footage," Wyck mused. "I think that kiss is special because we know what it's leading to."
And if the support for Edward and Bella's snogging at Movie Awards past is any indication, this year's MTV Movie Awards voters will agree! Unless this year's voters are also heirloom furniture collectors, in which case they probably found the entire thing very upsetting and not sexy at all.

Waiting for the final installment of the "Twilight" saga to hit theaters in November and reunite our fave celeb couple (Robsten, in case you couldn't figure it out) is no easy task. And though Stephenie Meyer isn't wasting time pining for vampire series past—the writer behind our favorite supernatural romance has moved on, this time to the big, exciting work of bringing her next book, "The Host," to the big screen—Stephenie admitted during our on-set visit that as thrilling as the new project is, she's also kinda missing the dynamic duo who brought Edward and Bella to life.
"It makes it a lot calmer," she laughed, when MTV News' Josh Horowitz asked if this movie felt strange or sad without Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson on board. "I do miss them though, it seems funny not to have Kristen here."
But despite the sad lack of Robsten, Stephenie couldn't be more excited to be working on something new -- and decidedly different from "Twilight" when it comes to the process of filming.
"This one just has beautiful landscape, everywhere we've been," she said of "The Host," adding that the forested environment of Forks stand-in Vancouver made it difficult to appreciate the "Twilight" landscape in the same way. And if anything, Stephenie has been even more involved in the adaptation of her alien-parasite love story (more romantic than it sounds!) for the big screen -- and with the particular support of director Andrew Niccol.
"Andrew and I work pretty well together," she said. "In the scriptwriting process, he really loved to hear what I had to say; we are really in sync."
How in sync are we talking about? Is Andrew Niccol the alien entity living inside Stephenie Meyer's head? Only time will tell! But we'll be first in line to see how Stephenie's literary vision and Andrew's directorial style mesh when "The Host" hits theaters next year.
Are you dying to see the new Stephenie Meyer project make its way into the movies?
We don't know about you, Crushers, but we've already set our DVRs to record the 2012 MTV Movie Awards pre-show so we can watch "The Perks of Being a Wallflower" trailer over and over and over and over again. Logan Lerman and co-stars Emma Watson and Ezra Miller will be on hand to present the clip. We're so excited and we just can't hide it! (No seriously, we're bouncing in our office chairs.)
The film is an adaptation of Stephen Chbosky's coming-of-age novel (published by our buds at MTV Books!), which follows Charlie (Logan) as he navigates high school with the help of Sam (Emma) and Patrick (Ezra). Simply wanting to fit in, Charlie instantly warms to the outgoing duo's friendly advances—maybe a little more than he should. As we (attempt to) wait patiently until this Sunday rolls around, we've created a wish list of what we hope is in store for the trailer's debut!
The eclectic cast While the story focuses primarily on Charlie, we're hoping to see plenty of his talented co-stars too. Alongside Logan is Ezra as Patrick; the actor made a splash last year playing a psychotic teen in "We Need to Talk About Kevin." "Vampire Diaries" actress Nina Dobrev stars as Charlie's sister, and we're looking forward to seeing her outside of Mystic Falls (and not facing mortal danger). Rounding out the young band of players is Emma, who will take on an American accent for the role—color us intrigued! We're hoping we get to hear a bit of it in the first peek of the movie.
The "Perks" production of "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" Set photos, which made their way online last summer, showed the stars in their "Rocky Horror" costumes, and it had us itching to see the scene. In the book, Sam, Patrick and their friends stage their own rendition of the famed musical in their hometown. Sam plays the show's heroine Janet and Patrick plays scientist Dr. Frank-N-Furter. We seriously cannot wait to see Ezra dancing and singing in red lipstick and heels.
Sam and Charlie getting close Freshman Charlie falls for older girl Sam almost immediately. Most of the movie stills have shown the characters hitting the books as they study for finals, but we're hoping the trailer will show the pair's friendlier side. (Those of you who've read the book know what we mean!) It's probably a long shot, but we can dream!
The Christmas party We love everything about Christmas—the season, the music, the holiday decorations. As an early present we're hoping we get to see the characters' gift exchange. A photo, tweeted by Paradiso Films, showed the kids of the cast hanging out on a couch surrounded by wrapped boxes and festive bags. We're excited to see Charlie's eyes light up when he opens his present. Bring on the holiday cheer!
The cast in all their infinite glory The one quote from the novel that was scrawled across every high school notebook: "And in that moment, I swear we were infinite." It became the anthem of teens everywhere, even if they weren't exactly sure what it meant. We're curious how Stephen's going to incorporate the line in the film and we're hoping it makes it into the trailer.

Welcome to the second night of MTV's Sneak Peek Week—our celebration of summer cinema leading up to the 2012 MTV Movie Awards on Sunday, June 3. Yesterday, we were enchanted by Kristen Stewart and Sam Claflin as they talked all things "Snow White and the Huntsman," and tonight, Andy Samberg, Vanilla Ice, Will Forte, Ciara and Eva Amurri are in the house to debut an EXCLUSIVE clip from their flick "That's My Boy," plus answer questions during a 30-minute chat.
In the film, out June 15, Andy plays Todd, the son of accidental (and incredibly hapless) teen parent Donny, played by Adam Sandler. After years of estrangement, Donny reappears in seemingly well-adjusted Todd's life on the eve of his wedding. And let's just say, Donny still isn't earning any Father of the Year coffee mugs.
All the fun starts at 11 p.m. ET, so be sure to click play on the video above to witness the hijinks and follow along on Twitter with the hashtag #MTVSneak.

It's no secret we're pretty big "Twilight" fans here at Hollywood Crush, so you can bet we'll be tuning in to Punk'd tomorrow night when Emmett Cullen himself, Kellan Lutz, takes over. (We may own a Team Emmett shirt though we'd deny it if you told anyone.) On his prank list are "Awkward" star Ashley Rickards and actress Julianne Hough.
Such a sport Ashley Rickards was when I Punk'd her... a true life saver. say.ly/Bhd3qHw
After knocking barrels of a dark liquid over with her car, Ashley sticks her fingers down the throat of a man who swallows a mouthful of the icky stuff, attempting to purge it from his stomach. Talk about taking action in a sticky situation! Julianne then has to try to save her brother from drowning in a lake of mud. Yikes! It's a "Punk'd: Heroes Edition" if you ask us.
Speaking of heroes, you can now vote for your favorite hero in the 2012 MTV Movie Awards! From now until the show airs this Sunday, June 3, at 9 p.m. ET on MTV, tweet the assigned hash tags to cast your vote. For Harry Potter tweet #votepotter, Katniss Everdeen is #votekatniss, Thor is #votethor, Captain America is #votecaptain and Channing Tatum's Jenko in "21 Jump Street" is #votejenko.
Personally we'd #voteemmett, but he's not an option. Bummer. You can, however, vote for Kellan and the rest of the "Breaking Dawn" cast in the Movie of the Year category. Can "Twilight" get a four-peat? It's up to you!

While Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart eye their fourth Best Kiss statuette at this weekend's MTV Movie Awards, "Twilight" author Stephenie Meyer is revealing tidbits about another of her literary couples' on-screen heat.
We recently caught up with the writer/producer on the set of her alien-invasion adaptation, "The Host," and much like her earlier bloodsucking series, there's plenty of messy romantic entanglements here to keep audiences satisfied...and swooning. This time, it's Saoirse Ronan, Max Irons and Jake Abel who must overcome a host (heh) of obstacles to find love.
Saoirse, who plays the dual role of human Melanie and alien Wanderer, was the first to be cast in the film (due March 2013), and Stephenie said one of the big casting challenges was finding worthy leading men to act opposite the talented actress.
"This is the thing with Saoirse: When she's on the screen in a movie, you have a really hard time looking at the other actors," Stephenie explained. "Really good actors, like 'The Lovely Bones' and Stanley Tucci, he can rip your eyes away because he is awesome, totally mesmerizing. So her big thing was finding guys you could look at."
Luckily, Stephenie had at least one actor in mind, who turned out to be just what they were looking for.
"That was one of the ways Jack Abel came into this," Stephenie continued. "I'm a big fan of his, and I've always felt like when he's in a movie, he's playing the bad guy or whatever. He's not the main character, but you're always looking at him because he has that charisma. We brought him in and their chemistry was really, really great."
After finding their Ian, Stephenie and co. were left with the role of Melanie's boyfriend, Jared. "I wasn't familiar with Max Irons, but [director] Andrew [Niccol] was, and Andrew loves him. He said, let's see how he is, and the reads together were pretty wow."
"Wow," huh? We like the sound of that!
Do we smell contenders for 2013's Best Kiss statuette?

If you were looking for another reason to get super-psyched about the upcoming MTV Movie Awards...well, hey, how about we give you several of 'em, and all before the show even starts? Because the Sunday night lineup is in, and it is spectacular.
For starters: the action begins on the pre-show red carpet with singer/songwriter/actress/general-icon-of-fabulousness Kat Graham, who'll be eyeing the fashion parade as MTV's Style Correspondent. And speaking of style, the Panem Capitol's favorite fashionista will be joining us for a very special "Hunger Games" feature, with Elizabeth Banks making a cameo appearance in a brand new After Hours goof-around with MTV News' Josh Horowitz (where she may or may not point out that SOMETHING is MAHOGANY.)
And that's not all: Before this year's award winners get their coveted Golden Popcorn, two unsuspecting celebs are getting pre-show pranked, with a new episode of "Punk'd" coordinated by Ashton Kutcher himself and targeting Kim Kardashian and Drake for a masterful punking—which will debut during the Punk'd Pre-Party at 8 p.m. ET on MTV.
So, in summary: punking, Panem, pretty outfits and our own personal fashion reporter. Could this get any more exciting? Answer: yes. Yes, it can. And if you're wondering what else we've got in store for the earth-shattering extravaganza of Sunday night's MTV Movie Awards prew-show, get busy clicking through for the full roundup of special features and exciting events, which are very exciting indeed.

Hosting the MTV Movie Awards is not an easy job. You have to entertain an audience of the hottest celebrities and their biggest fans, while introducing A-list actors like Christian Bale to present exclusive footage from highly-anticipated films like "The Dark Knight Rises." No pressure. This year comedy king Russell Brand was up for the task.
When Movie Awards hosting veteran Andy Samberg met up with us at Universal's CityWalk to talk "That's My Boy" for Sneak Peek Week, we asked him if he had any advice for Brand.
"It's gonna be a real stretch from the VMA's," Samberg joked, referencing Brand's previous hosting gig. "What's he gonna do? I just wonder in the beginning if he's gonna have some short film about how he needs to make it to the Movie Awards on time before it starts. Is he gonna make it? He's in this film, how's he gonna get there? Every host seems to have this problem."
The "SNL" actor is no stranger to live television so there was little pressure for him as he took to the big stage to introduce presenters and crack jokes when he hosted. In fact, Samberg only had to mention the title of a certain vampire saga to get a great crowd reaction.
"My year was like the first year of 'Twilight' so you couldn't hear anything," he recalled. "It was just a den of screaming girls. At one point I think I walked out, and I had a bet with somebody backstage, and I just walked out and went, 'Twilight.' And everybody went, 'Ahhhhhh!' I'm like, 'I just made five bucks.'"
With "Twilight" reigning at the 2009 MTV Movie Awards, the show was a huge success. What will Brand need for his year to be as good?
"I mean, so many ingredients in a Movie Awards stew—celebs, spoofs," Samberg said.
"Great performances!" Ciara chimed in.
"Great performances—I just thought of that," Samberg joked. On a more serious note, he said: "[It needs] a great host. Russell's gonna kill it. Russell's hilarious."

Based on all the marketing for "The Bourne Legacy" promising "there was never just one," we assumed that Jason Bourne was going to be forgotten about by the time Jeremy Renner's Aaron Cross stepped into center stage. But from what we've seen in the new full-length trailer for the movie, Bourne actually still has a large part to play.
Matt Damon might not have a cameo in "The Bourne Legacy," but we will at least see his face. It seems as though "The Bourne Legacy" is happening at the same time as Damon's previous three "Bourne" movies, and that it's his actions that will influence Cross's decision making. Except while Bourne was the only agent we saw in those films, it seems as though we'll be meeting an array of them in "The Bourne Legacy."
Judging by the trailer, one of them is apparently Oscar Isaac. Cross seemingly turns to his character to find out more about the Outcome program they're involved in, but Isaac doesn't seem like he wants to share much information with the other agent.
We also get a heck of a lot more Rachel Weisz this time around. It looks like she will play a doctor involved in the Outcome program who ends up being Cross's love interest. According to her, whatever experiments they did on him caused two of his chromosomes to mutate, which explains why he is so powerful. It sounds like Isaac was right to caution us to "not screw with him."
"The Bourne Legacy" also stars Edward Norton, Stacy Keach, Albert Finney, Joan Allen, David Strathairn and Scott Glenn. It's due in theaters on August 3.

Charlize Theron is a force of nature. The actress screamed so much on the set of "Snow White and the Huntsman" she tore a stomach muscle. We kid you not. During MTV's second annual Sneak Peek Week, Theron's co-stars Kristen Stewart and Sam Claflin stopped by to bring us an exclusive look at their film and we had to ask what it was like working with such a powerful actress.
"I didn't cross paths with her too much in the film," Claflin said. "However, pretty much everytime that she walked on set she kind of had this presence—the Charlize Theron, I call it now. She's a very strong-willed, independent woman."
Stewart agreed, saying Theron was "super intimidating." "We have such completely opposite energies," she revealed. "I mean, I cannot begin to describe to you. I was very curious initially how that was going to go."
As it turns out, it went really well. Both thespians get along great, Theron told MTV News at the film's England press junket earlier in the month. She credited their great dynamic to the age old phrase "opposites attract." Stewart agrees.
"It's so much fun to find people that you can like really have that push and pull with, especially on a set," she said. "And that's what we needed. I think the most surprising thing is when we started actually working, it was so instantly like, 'You! You totally do this. I do this. We should do this together.' "
Suffice to say, the actresses have serious chemistry—maybe a little more chemistry than they admit. While Theron couldn't make it to Sneak Peek Week, she sent her own question via video: "I want to know if Sam and Kristen realized that when they kiss in the movie that really, Kristen, you're making out with me. Did you guys realize that? And I just wanted to know if Sam lived up to the expectation of how good of a make out I am. And I [also] want to know if you ever want to have the opportunity to see how I really do it."
Sounds like she's making you an offer, KStew.

Vanilla Ice had the pleasure of playing a version of Vanilla Ice in the upcoming Adam Sandler comedy, "That's My Boy." In the film he plays Sandler's childhood buddy, affectionately known to Sandler's son Han Solo Berger (played by Andy Samberg) as Uncle Vanny, who tears up the town with Sandy's now grown, big-screen slacker.
When Uncle Vanny sat down with MTV News for Sneak Peek Week on Wednesday night, ahead of the 2012 MTV Movie Awards on Sunday (June 3), he said he had a blast bringing to life this heightened Vanilla Ice persona.
"Well I had a weekend that lasted a few years and I got to remember now because half my memory is gone. No, I'm kidding. But I enjoyed the hell out of it, man," he explained. "I got to drive an old 5.0 Mustang, it brought back great memories, just like the Ninja Turtles. I was all on it. I even caught myself doing 'Ice, Ice, Baby' for a minute. I was going back. I sloped down in the seat... And I look over and there's Sandler and I'm like 'What do I do, boss?' "
Now that he's starred in this movie, we really wanted to know if he has now caught the acting bug? But, given his answer, we're still not really sure. "I get in where I fit in. We are who we are because of who we were and this is who I am today," he said. "So, wherever tomorrow is that's where I'll be. Yesterday's history, tomorrow's a mystery."

It seems as though Sleeping Beauty has finally found her Prince Charming. New reports peg Aussie Brenton Thwaites as the prince who will break Maleficent's spell on the young princess in Disney's upcoming recreation of the classic "Sleeping Beauty" fairytale, "Maleficent."
Deadline has the news, saying that Thwaites is set in the role. He's largely unknown to American audiences, though he'll be making his breakout role on US television sets in the upcoming Lifetime Channel movie "Blue Lagoon: The Awakening."
Thwaites is joining an already star-studded cast. His love interest Aurora (aka Sleeping Beauty) will be played by Elle Fanning, while Angelina Jolie is still set to play the titular queen who will seek to drive them apart. Juno Temple, Imelda Saunton and Lesley Manville will play the three pixie fairies who take care of Aurora while she is banished from the castle and living in a cabin in the woods.
In a recent interview, Jolie defended "Maleficent" being told from the evil queen's perspective by saying it's "not anti-princess."
"It's the first time they're looking at this epic woman... I hope in the end you see a woman who is capable of being many things, and just because she protects herself and is aggressive, it doesn't mean she can't have other [warmer] qualities," she said. "It sounds really crazy to say that there will be something that's good for young girls in this, because it sounds like you're saying they should be a villain. [Maleficent] is actually a great person. But she's not perfect. She's far from perfect."
"Maleficent" is due in on theaters March 14, 2014. It's set to start filming this June in London.
Do you think Thwaites is a good addition to the cast? Tell us in the comments section below or on Twitter!
In a teacher/student relationship, there's a line you're always told not to cross. Movies, however, can not only cross those lines, but hurdle over them. Such is the case with Adam Sandler's "That's My Boy."
The film centers on Donny (Sandler), who knocked up his teacher (Eva Amurri) when he was just a teenager and raised his son Han Solo Berger (Andy Samberg) as a single parent until Han's 18th birthday. After a financial mishap, Donny reemerges in Han's life right before his wedding and must face the consequences of his appalling parenting skills.
During MTV's second annual Sneak Peek Week leading up to the 2012 MTV Movie Awards, Samberg and his co-stars hit Universal's CityWalk to premiere an exclusive clip from the film. The never-before-seen footage takes you back to Donny's school days and reveals that the whole affair started with his teacher.

If you've ever dreamed of a day when Rocky would face off against Jake La Motta, your wish may be coming true. A new report is saying that Sylvester Stallone and Robert De Niro are in talks to star in "Grudge Match," a boxing comedy being set up at Warner Bros.
The Wrap has the news, saying that the movie is about two retired boxers who plan one last match against one another. Stallone is famous for writing and starring in the movie "Rocky," while De Niro also portrayed a boxer in Martin Scorsese's classic, "Raging Bull."
There's no official confirmation on the casting yet, and the movie isn't even officially greenlit, but this seems like it would be a match made in heaven if it did happen.
"Tommy Boy" and "Anger Management" helmer Peter Segal is set to direct the film, while "Entourage" creator Doug Ellin is working on the latest draft of the script. Those two seem to be a strong backbone for this movie, though we will admit that we weren't too enamored with the tone of Segal's latest, "Get Smart."
It's nice to know that Stallone and De Niro are not taking themselves too seriously, though. Stallone seems to be on a stint teaming up with old rivals, currently working alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger in "The Tomb" and everyone from Bruce Willis to Chuck Norris in "The Expendables 2." De Niro is similarly taking things with a grain of salt, as evidenced by his hilarious performances in "Stardust" and "Machete."

In case you haven't heard, 2012 is the year of Channing Tatum. He kicked ass in "Haywire," broke hearts in "The Vow," busted guts in "21 Jump Street," all in one year. For his latest trick, Tatum will get naked… and you can get your first taste of his strip tease tonight thanks to our MTV Sneak Peek Week presentation of "Magic Mike."
Like "Snow White and the Huntsman" and "That's My Boy" the last two nights, Sneak Peek Week continues tonight with "Magic Mike." Our very own Josh Horowitz will be live on MTV at 11 p.m. ET with Tatum, his co-star Matthew McConaughey and producer/screenwriter Reid Carolin to premiere an exclusive clip from the Steven Soderbergh stripper flick, and they'll take the conversation online for a 30-minute Q&A right after. You can follow all the action on Twitter using the hash-tag #MTVSneak.
If that's not enough "Magic Mike" goodness for you, make sure to tune into the MTV Movie Awards on Sunday night (June 3). You won't be disappointed.

Channing Tatum, along with co-stars Matt Bomer and Alex Pettyfer, get their groove on to "It's Raining Men" in a brand-new, exclusive clip from "Magic Mike," which we premiered Thursday night (May 31) as part of Movie Awards Sneak Peek Week.
Tatum not only debuted the teaser, he also sat down with MTV News' own Josh Horowitz and dished on playing the title character. The Steven Soderbergh-directed flick opens June 29 and goes inside the world of hard-bodied male strippers.
In the clip, the guys are decked out in raincoats as they dance with umbrellas. The fellas shake, shimmy and, of course, strip — actually they tear off their clothes — to the iconic disco tune. But the highlight of the scene is probably when Tatum gets his dirty dancing on and humps the stage while the club's female patrons swoon and scream.
But that's not it for Sneak Peek Week: On Friday night, Julianne Hough and Diego Boneta will join us for a chat about the big-screen adaptation of "Rock of Ages," which also stars Tom Cruise, Mary J. Blige, Alec Baldwin, Catherine Zeta-Jones and more. Check back in at 11 p.m. ET Friday for our live Q&A with the actors. Fans can get in on the action on Twitter using the hash tag #MTVSneak or by tweeting your favorite movie-related drawings from OMGPOP's "Draw Something" app to @MTVNews.

'I'd be all over that,' the rapper told MTV News about the upcoming 'Turtles' reboot. By Josh Wigler, with reporting by Jim Cantiello
Vanilla Ice Photo: MTV News
There's a lot happening within the "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" universe that's rubbed fans the wrong way. Chief among their grievances is a change to the Turtles' origin: These heroes in a half-shell are no longer simply the mutated product of an ooze spill on some unwitting turtles — they're now creatures from a different planet.
But there's at least one carryover from the original film trilogy that should put a smile on fans' faces: Vanilla Ice is back, back, baby ... maybe.
MTV News caught up with the rapper during his Sneak Peek Week appearance for "That's My Boy" ahead of Sunday night's MTV Movie Awards, and he teased that he may very well be involved with the Michael Bay-produced "Ninja Turtles" reboot.
"I can't say anything," Ice grinned when asked if he would be involved with the return of the Turtles. "I know that they're not from the sewers now. They're aliens now or something."
Ice, who famously performed "Ninja Rap" in "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze," is a committed fan of Splinter's reptilian warriors. Like, seriously committed, to the extent that he's tattooed their likeness to his own shin.
"I don't mess around," he said of his "TMNT" pride. "I'm still a Ninja Turtles fan."
And to that end, Ice said he's very much interested in continuing his relationship with the fan-favorite franchise. Whether or not he's actually involved with Bay's planned reboot remains a mystery for now, but the rapper is wide open to the possibility at the very least.
"Absolutely," he said when asked if he'd want to join in on the new-age "Turtles" fun. "I'd get a tattoo of it. I'd be all over that. Aliens, sewers, whatever: They're still Ninja Turtles, and I'm a ninja, so I get in where I fit in."
Charlize Theron and Kristen Stewart are definitely on our newly single host's radar for Sunday's show. By Kara Warner, with reporting by Josh Horowitz
Russell Brand Photo: MTV News
When it was announced that all-around funnyman Russell Brand was hand-selected to host the 2012 MTV Movie Awards, no one was more excited about the news than Brand himself — particularly when we presented him with a list of the lovely leading ladies who would also be present at Sunday's show.
When we let him know that Kristen Stewart, Emma Stone, Mila Kunis and Charlize Theron would all be on hand, there was a lot of whistling on his part.
"I don't watch things like ['Twilight']," Brand said when Stewart was mentioned, but he did offer up a nice whistle. "I don't know, I don't know why I would watch it. But for the people, I like the good-looking boys. Robert Pattinson and him with the tummy," he said, speaking of Taylor Lautner's storied abs. "I met him. He was really handsome."
Brand's tales of celebrity run-ins did not end there: It turns out the "Rock of Ages" star had a very memorable encounter with Stewart's "Snow White and the Huntsman" co-star, Charlize Theron.
"Oh my God. She's amazing, isn't she? [I met her], and it was embarrassing," Brand revealed. "I messed it up bad. I met her and didn't recognize her. I was at a party, and I was looking at birds. She came over and [said] something untoward. And I showed off like an idiot, not recognizing her."
Once Brand realized his mistake, he was distraught.
"I thought, 'Oh no! I didn't use any of my moves!' " he recalled, before adding that Sunday's awards show might present him with the perfect opportunity to reintroduce himself. "It's a new day, it's a new dawn, it's a new life," he said, wondering, "Is she single?"
'That's My Boy' stars bust into spontaneous rhymes during MTV Sneak Peek Week interview. By Jocelyn Vena, with reporting Josh Horowitz
Vanilla Ice at MTV Sneak Peek Week on Wednesday Photo: Brian Dowling/Picture Group/MTV
Will Forte and Vanilla Ice both displayed their smooth rap skills when they sat down with MTV News during MTV Sneak Peek Week. The "That's My Boy" co-stars decided to use the interview as a place to spit some rhymes. Why? Well, it was a more creative way to answer the questions they were asked about their respective parts in the flick.
In the film, Ice plays an exaggerated version of his real-life persona. When asked about his return to the big screen, he decided not to respond with a spoken answer but rather with a rhyme specially designed for the occasion.
He spit, "Been a long time since you seen me on the TV/ V Ice here for sheezy/ Taking what's mine 'cause it's my time/ To hit you all with a new style of rhyme."
So, when it came time for Will Forte to talk about going nude for the flick, he took a page out of Vanilla Ice's book and rapped his answer.
"My name is Will Forte and I know how to move/ My name's Will Forte and I know how to groove/ I know how to move, I know how to groove/ It looks like this homeboy is batting two for two," he rhymed.
'Twilight' producer says Pattinson would be 'fantastic' in the big-screen adaptation of 'The Professionals.' By Kara Warner
Robert Pattinson Photo: Getty Images
When it comes to knowing the comings and goings of Robert Pattinson, we'd like to consider ourselves experts, or very much in the know with regard to what movies we can expect to see the "Twilight" superstar make next.
When MTV News caught up with "Twilight" producer Wyck Godfrey recently to discuss Pattinson and Kristen Stewart's chances of another Best Kiss win at the 2012 MTV Movie Awards on Sunday (June 3), he revealed that he and Pattinson might be cooking up some post-"Breaking Dawn - Part 2" work plans, in the form of a big-screen adaptation of a crime thriller.
"There's a book called "The Professionals," which is a new crime thriller that Rob has read and really likes," Godfrey said of Owen Laukkanen's well-received debut novel. "We're just starting to look at a writer [to adapt it]. It's kind of a 'Bonnie and Clyde' for today, and he would be fantastic in the role. It's in the early days; we'll see."
A modern-day version of "Bonnie and Clyde" sounds gritty and violent no matter which way you look at it. We asked Godfrey if he sees this potential big-screen crime thriller as a PG-13- or R-rated film for Pattinson.
Colin Ferrell, Amanda Seyfried and Aziz Ansari join Bey in the film, due in theaters May 2013. By James Montgomery
Beyoncé Photo: Kevin Mazur/ WireImage
For a while now, folks have been referring to Beyoncé as a queen ... but now, she's going to make it official. On the big screen.
According to Deadline.com, Beyoncé has been cast as Queen Tara in the upcoming 3-D, CGI-animated film "Epic," a 20th Century Fox film from the makers of the hits "Ice Age" and "Rio."
The film reportedly tells the tale of a teenage girl transported to a secret universe, where she finds herself dropped square in the middle of a battle between the forces of good and evil. She joins forces with "a rag-tag team of fun and whimsical characters" to save the world. "Epic" is slated to hit theaters on May 24, 2013.
It's the first confirmed role for Beyoncé since she took time off for maternity leave, though she's also slated to star in the Clint Eastwood-directed remake of "A Star Is Born."
Starring alongside Bey in the movie are the likes of Colin Farrell, Amanda Seyfried, Aziz Ansari and a pair of her fellow musicians, Pitbull and Aerosmith frontman/"American Idol" judge Steven Tyler. Johnny Knoxville, Jason Sudeikis and Judah Friedlander round out the cast.
Josh Hutcherson is also set to appear alongside Beyoncé in the film. He's currently riding high off the massive success of "Hunger Games," which is tied with "Bridesmaids" for the most nominations at the 2012 MTV Movie Awards, which will air Sunday, June 3, at 9 p.m. ET/PT from the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, California.
Five cringe-worthy scenes vie for the Best Gut-Wrenching Performance at the MTV Movie Awards. Vote for your pick on MTV.com! By Kara Warner
Ryan Gosling in "Drive" Photo: FilmDistrict
Of all the unique and outlandish categories that the MTV Movie Awards have been known for each year, 2012's new addition, Best Gut-Wrenching Performance, might be the most unique, outlandish and downright cringe-worthy of all.
So what is a gut-wrenching moment? For our purposes, it is that one unforgettable scene in a recent movie that was so outrageous, disturbing or just plain gross that you had a physical reaction whilst watching it. A literal wrenching of your guts.
No matter your reaction to this year's very diverse nominees, be it the poo pies, head stomping or group food poisoning, we can almost guarantee the nominated moments in this new category left an impression on you. Here's a closer look at those five gut-wrenching movie moments:
Bryce Dallas-Howard, "The Help" For those who've seen "The Help," there's not much to say about this other than revenge is best served cold, in the form of a poo-laced pie. In the scene, Dallas-Howard — a double nominee this year — who plays the cringe-worthy and hateful villain Hilly Holbrook, scarfs down what looks to be a delicious chocolate pie. Hilly and the audience soon find out that the pie has an extra "special" ingredient: poop.
Jonah Hill and Rob Riggle, "21 Jump Street" Moving on to our next nominee, from poop to a detached penis. (Did we mention these moments are gut-wrenching?) In the final few minutes of one of the year's funniest comedies, "21 Jump Street," Jonah Hill accidentally shoots off Rob Riggle's penis, after which the handcuffed and injured party is forced to retrieve his dismembered man parts with his mouth. Bonus fact about this scene: Riggle improvised the mouth pick-up.
Kristen Wiig, Maya Rudolph, Rose Byrne, Melissa McCarthy, Wendi McLendon-Covey and Ellie Kemper, "Bridesmaids" While there are multiple memorable scenes in "Bridesmaids," one of them stands out as the messiest. While shopping at a swanky boutique for their dresses, the bride and her five bridesmaids are simultaneously hit with a tidal wave of food poisoning that causes them to lose their lunch in every conceivable way.
Ryan Gosling, "Drive" While Ryan Gosling made many women swoon with his wooing of Emma Stone in "Crazy, Stupid, Love," his turn as the cold, calculated and deadly driver in "Drive" had the opposite effect. Gosling's most gut-wrenching scene is a furious display of skull stomping never before seen on film. Talk about cringe-worthy, that elevator stomp is off the charts.
Tom Cruise, "Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol" This last nominated moment is the least gross of the bunch and also the most impressive given the physical feat achieved to produce it. In "Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol," Tom Cruise's super spy Ethan Hunt scales the planet's tallest building, Dubai's Burj Khalifa, in a race against a nuclear clock. Cruise actually performed the stunt, which required him to dangle a mere 2,700 feet from the ground.
'This is almost like a journal,' she tells MTV News of next album during Movie Awards Sneak Peek Week. By John Mitchell, with reporting by Jim Cantiello
Ciara Photo: MTV News
Before she took the stage Wednesday night during Movie Awards Sneak Peek Week with her "That's My Boy" co-stars, R&B-pop princess Ciara hit the pre-show red carpet and revealed details of her much-anticipated new single and album.
"I'm so excited about this new record. I'll tell you guys because I love you guys so much, and what would it be without MTV?" Ciara told MTV News on the carpet. "My new album, I'm almost finished with it, and the album title is called One Woman Army."
Army will be the "Goodies" singer's first album at her new label home of Epic Records.
Ciara parted ways with Jive Records in early 2011 following a falling-out over the promotion and support of her last effort, 2010's Basic Instinct, which peaked at #44 on the Billboard albums chart after her first three LPs all enjoyed top-three debuts. She was not without a label for long, signing up to join L.A. Reid's Epic just a few months later. It was Reid who signed Ciara to her first record deal in 2003.
For her part, the pop star seems to be moving in a new direction with Army, calling the album "very, very personal" and saying she "darn near cried" while writing many of the songs.
"This is the most vulnerable I've ever been in my life and career. And I'm so confident with being vulnerable. At one point in time, I was very afraid to be as vulnerable as I am," Ciara said. "This is almost like a journal, my own personal journal when you get this record."
But fans of Ciara's dance-heavy catalog shouldn't fear: The singer assured us there will be plenty of uptempo tracks, including the lead single, "Sweat."
"It's only right that I let you know this too, another bean, that my new single, my first single, is coming. It could be coming anytime soon, and it's called 'Sweat,' " Ciara continued. "I just love to make you sweat in all kinds of ways."
"That's My Boy," which hits theaters June 15, followed a never-before-seen clip from "Snow White and the Huntsman" as part of MTV's Sneak Peek Week festivities, which will also include exclusive first looks at "Magic Mike" tonight (May 31) and "Rock of Ages" on Friday (June 1), as well as live nightly chats with the casts of each film. Tune in to MTV at 11 p.m. ET each night as the casts introduce the clips from their films, and join us at MTV.com after for a live Q&A with the actors. You can also get in on the conversation yourself on Twitter using the hashtag #MTVSneak.
'Something will get decided over the summer,' Samberg tells MTV News during Movie Awards Sneak Peek Week. By Jocelyn Vena, with reporting by Jim Cantiello and Josh Horowitz
Andy Samberg Photo: MTV News
Now that Kristen Wiig has officially left "Saturday Night Live," many fans are wondering what the deal is with Andy Samberg and Jason Sudeikis, who are both rumored to be leaving the show ahead of its fall season premiere.
It seems that fans will have to wait a bit longer to find out. When MTV News caught up with Samberg during MTV Sneak Peek Week, where he sat down to chat about his new film, "That's My Boy," he explained that he's got some time before he needs to give boss Lorne Michaels his two weeks' notice.
"You know, I've just been focusing on the movie and all this stuff," he explained to MTV News. "I haven't talked to Lorne about it yet. Something will get decided over the summer. We'll see. No matter what, it's been a dream come true working there for me."
"I don't know yet. But it was a fun season," he later added during his Sneak Peek chat. "It was a crazy finale. Mick Jagger and Arcade Fire and Foo Fighters. It's open-ended at this time."
Samberg, who hosted the MTV Movie Awards in 2009, sat down with MTV News ahead of this year's show. The 2012 show will be hosted by Russell Brand and feature performances by Fun., the Black Keys, Martin Solveig and Wiz Khalifa. It all goes down from the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, California, live on Sunday at 9 p.m. ET.
Spy series continues without leading man Matt Damon, and from the looks of the most recent trailer, it might actually pull it off. By Kevin P. Sullivan
Jeremy Renner in "Bourne Legacy" Photo: Universal Pictures
Of all the summer's potential blockbusters, "The Bourne Legacy," the Matt Damon-less continuation of the spy series, has the most to prove. Series tend not to fare well once the star exits, but the latest trailer for "The Bourne Legacy" is making us believe that it could buck the trend.
Here are our five key scenes from the new "Bourne Legacy" trailer.
Weisz's Role Revealed Until now, most of the promo material has focused squarely on Jeremy Renner's Aaron Cross and how there was "never just one." One of the first things this full trailer does is formally introduce us to Marta, the doctor Rachel Weisz plays in the film. (Her hand appeared briefly in the first trailer.) When Edward Norton's Agent Byer decided to liquidate the operation, both Marta and Cross find themselves in harm's way. That's the set-up that eventually brings them together to go on the run.
Connections to the Past Perhaps the most intriguing element of the new trailer besides how badass Renner is has to be the clear connections to the previous film, "The Bourne Ultimatum." Both Corey Johnson, who plays the government crony, and Paddy Considine, who didn't survive the events of "Ultimatum," show up in the trailer. It appears that the events of "Ultimatum" and Bourne's appearance in Manhattan spur the events of "Legacy."
Jason Bourne Again Speaking of Jason Bourne, there's Matt Damon's face right there in the trailer. The actor has made it clear that he himself won't appear in the newest addition to the series he led through three films, but his headshot does briefly appear on a newscast in the trailer. Director Tony Gilroy told us during our Summer Movie Preview that Bourne's presence would be felt in the early parts of the "Legacy." "What happens in 'Ultimatum' is really the spark that's blowing open the door to this movie because the Jason Bourne story is exploding out into the public," he said. "Being impossible to conceal any further is causing problems for this much larger conspiracy. 'Ultimatum' plays in the background of the very beginning of this film."
Agent Aaron "Moto" Cross As with the teaser trailer, a good portion of the full trailer focuses on the chromosomal enhancements that have been made to Aaron Cross. He heals quickly, and he can grind a railing with a freakin' motocross bike. Was one of the "inconsistencies" within Treadstone that the characters talk about in the trailer the inability to grind a railing with a freakin' motocross bike?
Matt Who? If this trailer does one thing particularly well, it silences all of Renner's doubters. His action on display here is definitely on par with the kung-fu antics of Matt Damon. Whether he's on the bike or sliding between buildings or emerging from freezing water with a full beard, Renner looks poised to take the reins in style.
Be sure to see how Renner's "Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol" co-star, Tom Cruise, fares when he goes up for two MTV Movie Awards, Best Gut-Wrenching Performance and Best Fight, this Sunday, June 3, at 9 p.m. ET live on MTV.
'I would still have to be someone who could wisecrack,' Clark Gregg tells MTV News about his future at Marvel. By Josh Wigler, with reporting by Kara Warner
Clark Gregg Photo: MTV News
Alas, poor Coulson — we knew him well.
"Avengers" director Joss Whedon is known for killing off fan-favorite characters to heighten the stakes of his stories — we're still pouring one out for Serenity flyboy Wash all these years later. In the Marvel superhero flick, it wasn't one of Earth's mightiest heroes who bit the bullet, but the much beloved S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Phil Coulson who lost his life at the hands of Asgardian bad boy Loki.
Of course, this is a comic book property we're talking about, and in comics, no one stays dead for long. That idea has kept Coulson fans feeling optimistic about the possible return of actor Clark Gregg to the Marvel movie universe at some point down the line, with his resurrection as popular character Vision the current leading theory.
"Vision is cool," he said. "But I would hate to be any AI life form. If I got to come back, I would need to still be somebody who could wisecrack, because my favorite part of the job was that if anybody was going to tease anybody about their diva superhero outfit or whatever, it would be me."
Indeed, while Gregg has "seen a lot of theories" about Coulson's return — "I love what people are doing with that," he said — he's just as happy to let his character rest in peace.
"I really love what Joss did with Agent Coulson in 'The Avengers,' " he said. "It seems like an idea that was in the cards, not only from Joss but from Marvel, in that you needed to ground the movie in some real emotion and stakes. I loved playing that guy, and I'll miss playing him, but I was glad to have that job."
Coulson's fate will remain a hotly debated topic for many weeks to come, we're sure. But even if the hard-nosed S.H.I.E.L.D. agent is gone for good, that doesn't mean Gregg can't visit the set of "Avengers 2," right?
"That might be hard. I might be sad," he said. Then again ...
"I guess I would [visit the set] if I was dressed up as a sentient android," he teased.

'Rock of Ages' star Hough will sit down with MTV News on Friday at 11 p.m. ET for Movie Awards Sneak Peek Week. By Jocelyn Vena

Julianne Hough and Josh Duhamel are looking for a "Safe Haven" in the latest big-screen adaptation of a Nicholas Sparks book.
According to the studio, Relativity Media, production will begin next month in Southport, North Carolina, with "The Cider House Rules" helmer Lasse Hallström set to direct. The studio is eyeing a February 8, 2013, release date.
"I'm thrilled that Josh and Julianne have agreed to come aboard 'Safe Haven' — it's hard to think of an actor better-suited to play the character of Alex than Josh, and Julianne will bring a combination of vulnerability and strength to the role of Katie," Sparks said in a statement. "They are both such talented and charismatic individuals — and best of all, they have tremendous personal chemistry, which is essential for this film."
The film follows a young woman with a mysterious history who moves to a small North Carolina town. After an initial reluctance to form bonds in the town, she falls for Alex, a widow with two kids. However, her past comes back to haunt her and she must use love to deal with her personal struggles.
Hough will sit down with MTV News on Friday for Movie Awards Sneak Peek Week, along with "Rock of Ages" castmate Diego Boneta and director Adam Shankman. Not only will she chat about her lead role in the film, but she'll also debut an exclusive clip from the June 15 release.

The show will be hosted by Russell Brand and feature performances by Fun., the Black Keys, Martin Solveig and Wiz Khalifa. It all goes down from the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, California, live on Sunday at 9 p.m. ET.

A Hilariously Good Time If you haven't noticed, we like to have fun with celebrities who visit MTV headquarters. Last night we took the liberty of mashing up the faces of the actors in "That's My Boy" to see what their children would look like. (Horowitz and Ventimiglia made a surprisingly attractive child.) With Tatum revealing his knack for comedy in "21 Jump Street" — his talent proven by the film's ability to nab six Movie Award nominations — our time with the actor will be nothing short of entertaining.
Channing Tatum + Stripper Movie = Impromptu Dance Party? Hey, it's MTV Movie Awards week. We're known for having some seriously outrageous moments and Tatum just so happens to be known for — aside from being an incredibly successful actor — his impressive dancing skill. So who knows, maybe Horowitz will get a lap dance. Anything can happen. Don't miss it!
Critics agree 'brutal imagery' makes 'Snow White and the Huntsman' the fairest adaptation of them all. By Fallon Prinzivalli

"Snow White and the Huntsman" is not your average fairy tale. The princess is quite capable of saving herself, the prince is vying for Snow's love with the handsome Huntsman, and the Dark Forest is ever more present than any furry woodland creatures.
Director Rupert Sanders created a darker version of the classic story where Snow White gears up for battle against Queen Ravenna, and the evil witch actually has an emotional reason for why she's killing females to remain young. Kristen Stewart leads the film as the title character, with stunning performances by Charlize Theron, Chris Hemsworth and Sam Claflin.
Stewart will be one of the many stars in attendance at the 2012 MTV Movie Awards this Sunday, June 3, where she'll act as a presenter and compete for the Golden Popcorn in the Best Kiss and Movie of the Year categories. Until then, audiences can catch her in action beginning Friday when "Snow White" hits theaters. Read on to find out why critics are calling this the fairest adaptation of all.
The Story "Astonishingly beautiful and breathtaking in its brutal imagery, 'Snow White & the Huntsman' is thrilling and frightening in equal measure, yet as bereft of satisfying substance as a poisoned apple. Rupert Sanders' revisionist take on the classic Brothers Grimm fable, the first feature from the respected British commercial director, upends expectations of traditional gender roles while simultaneously embracing what a fairy tale should be. It's dark and dangerous, vicious and violent. Yes, there are dwarves and adorable, furry woodland creatures but more often, death is a constant threat." — Christy Lemire, Associated Press
The Special Effects "Director Rupert Sanders, with his first feature, has come up with some jaw droppingly beautiful shots, almost tactile in their richness, and uses special effects to enhance that look, rather than just showing off." — Bill Goodykoontz, Arizona Republic
Kristen Stewart "Kristen Stewart is not an obvious choice for Snow White, given her habitual expression of discomfort while striking conventional feminine poses — both in movies and on red carpets. That's why, of course, she's right for this Snow White, imprisoned in a tower during puberty and with no regard for her looks: She has integrity, inner beauty. 'How do I inspire? How do I lead men?' she asks the Huntsman (Chris Hemsworth), a grief-stricken drunk who teaches Snow White how to stab her opponents by using the weight of their onrushing bodies against them. She's not a barrel of laughs, but then, unlike recent fractured fairy tales such as 'Tangled' and the campy 'Mirror Mirror,' 'Snow White and the Huntsman' doesn't have a single (intentional) laugh." — David Edelstein, New York Magazine
The Dwarves "For a while the movie chugs along serviceably. ... But then things pick up. How? Three words, as Hemsworth's character puts it: 'Oh no. Dwarves.' Yes, this version does have dwarves, and they're played by non-dwarf actors who've been reduced by special effects, and at least one of those actors hasn't been in a really big picture in some time. And they are feisty and different and delightful, and their ruminations on their loyalties to the kingdom and the young woman they acknowledge as their rightful queen help shift the picture into high gear, as does a shift from a dark forest to an enchanted wood that packs some of the movie's most magical visuals." — Glenn Kenny, MSN Movies
The Final Word "Ravenna's delivery of the poisoned apple to Snow White is brilliantly done, perhaps the movie's best revisionist moment, but after that the momentum declines sharply. Snow White 'dies' and is revived — more mysteriously, and with less emotional impact, than in the Disney film — and then she must lead her rebel troops into battle, delivering a knockoff version of the St. Crispin's Day inspirational speech from 'Henry V' ... I'm inclined to conclude that 'Snow White and the Huntsman' is a vigorous simulacrum of classic fantasy, rather than the real thing. But keep your expectations reasonable, and that's enough to make it one of the summer's unexpected delights." — Andrew O'Hehir, Salon.
Singer shares his fond memories of the Movie Awards, which always have him 'laughing and having a great time.' By Jocelyn Vena, with reporting by Kara Warner

Justin Bieber's fondness for the MTV Movie Awards dates back to a time way before his 2011 nomination for Best Jaw-Dropping Moment.
"My first memory?" he pondered to MTV News. "I remember just watching it from a young age and always laughing and having a great time."
While he didn't nab any noms this year, he is hoping that "Bridesmaids" walks home with a Golden Popcorn trophy when the 2012 MTV Movie Awards go live this Sunday. "I liked 'Bridesmaids.' I need to see 'Hunger Games' again. I need to see it because I went there the first night it came out and I feel asleep because it was like super-late. But I need to see it again," he explained, before breaking down why he loved the raunchy female comedy so much.
"I just think it was funny. It's kind of like the female version of 'The Hangover,' " he said. "I thought it was funny."
Expect more memories to be made and lots of Golden Popcorn statues to be handed out (maybe even to "Bridesmaids") when the 2012 MTV Movie Awards take place this weekend. The show will be hosted by Russell Brand and feature performances by Fun., the Black Keys, Martin Solveig and Wiz Khalifa. It all goes down from the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, California, on Sunday.
Jon Hamm, Jennifer Aniston among the deliciously despicable characters up for Best On-Screen Dirtbag award. By Kevin P. Sullivan

While the MTV Movie Awards are all about celebrating the best from the past year in film, they're also about shining a light on the very worst. This year, we're introducing a brand-new category for all the deliciously despicable characters: Best On-Screen Dirtbag.
We've broken down all the nominees in the category below, but it's up to you to vote one member of this detestable quintet to the podium to collect his or her Golden Popcorn. We will all find out who the worst of the worst is this Sunday, June 3, at 9 p.m. ET live on MTV.
Bryce Dallas Howard - "" If an on-screen dirtbag does his or her job properly, naturally the audience will beg for some comeuppance. Without a doubt, none of this year's love-to-hate-'em nominees got it worse than Bryce Dallas Howard's horribly racist Miss Hilly. Apparently, revenge is a dish best served in the form of a chocolate pie made out of human feces.
Colin Farrell - "Horrible Bosses" Even if it weren't for the cocaine addiction and his propensity for firing those that "creep him out," Colin Farrell's character in last summer's hit comedy "Horrible Bosses" may have ended up on the short list for On-Screen Dirtbag for that comb-over alone. Sometimes a poor choice of hairstyle can be just as bad as a person's behavior.
Jennifer Aniston - "Horrible Bosses" There's nothing wrong with a small workplace crush as long as human resources has been notified, you keep your conversations work-appropriate, and you don't spray your co-worker's pants with water in order to see the outline of his junk. Jennifer Aniston's character in "Horrible Bosses" did not heed any of these rules as she aggressively tried to seduce her dental hygienist, played by Charlie Day.
Jon Hamm - "Bridesmaids" Sure, he might seem like a great guy. He's rich, and hell, he looks like Jon Hamm, but Ted is not a man you want to be around. He does that thing that can only be described by Kristen Wiig as she drags that back of her limp hand across her face. It's not pretty.
Oliver Cooper - "Project X" Sometimes dirtbags are funny. One of our nominees this year, Oliver Cooper of "Project X," has the distinct honor of earning nominations for both Best Comedic Performance and Best On-Screen Dirtbag. And that's the beautiful balance that Costa strikes. Yes, he's going to turn up the speed on the treadmill that you're running on, but you'll probably laugh about it later.
'Things change so much from week to week,' the author tells MTV News of returning to the vampire franchise in the future. By Fallon Prinzivalli, with reporting by Josh Horowitz
Stephenie Meyer Photo: MTV News
The final installment of Stephenie Meyer's vampire saga, "Breaking Dawn - Part 2," hits theaters this fall, showing newlywed Bella Cullen in all her red-eyed, ice-cold-skin glory. It's been a long journey since "Twilight" released in 2008 and many fans are sad to say goodbye to their beloved franchise. But when the credits roll on November 16, it may not be the end of Edward and Bella's story.
When MTV News flew out to Albuquerque, New Mexico, to visit Meyer on the set of "The Host," the author revealed she has a few more story lines in mind for the couple.
"Things change so much from week to week, let alone year to year. I mean, there are other stories, obviously," she said. "I have a really hard time putting down characters and so I know what would happen. It's just a matter of, 'Are we tired of vampires?' I kind of feel like maybe we are as a general group."
Us, tired of vampires? Never! But Meyer did admit — even if we're still up for more bloodsucking tales — she's a little worn out on the creatures.
"It might take some time to want to go back there. And of course, for me it's easier 'cause I know exactly what happens so there's not as much suspense and stress for myself."
Fans of the "Twilight" series may recall Meyer's venture back to Forks when she wrote the first novel from Edward Cullen's perspective, "Midnight Sun." The story was leaked online, causing the writer to put its release on hold. For those of us who are itching to get our hands on a copy, we may have to wait a few years.
"You know, I'm trying to stay away from the vampire stuff because I do think if I can focus on other things, I'll recharge a little bit there. I haven't really looked at anything vampirish for a little while," she said. "Someday, like on my deathbed or whatever, if I never get around to writing it, I'll tell everyone what happens. I'll just narrate for a little bit."
"Breaking Dawn - Part 1" is up for two MTV Movie Awards this year under the categories Best Kiss and Movie of the Year. Voting is still open, so make your voice heard! Then, this Sunday, June 3, at 9 p.m. ET you can catch the results on MTV, along with appearances by your favorite castmembers — including Kristen Stewart.
