- Kristen Stewart Is Red Hot At 'Cosmopolis' Premiere
Perhaps a bit of vampire Bella has rubbed off on "Twilight" starlet Kristen Stewart because the actress was all about the blood reds at the Cannes Film Festival today for the premiere of Robert Pattinson's "Cosmopolis."
The brunette stunned (literally, our jaws dropped!) in a plunging Reem Acra gown with peek-a-boo lace back. Kristen complemented the frock with sparse accessories—a simple gold bracelet and ring—scarlet lips and a messy up-do. It's probably safe to say this is the most daring style statement the 22-year-old has made to date, and we love it. (We're betting a certain well-coiffed Brit did too!)
Kristen walked the carpet with her "On the Road" co-star (and Rob BFF) Tom Sturridge. The pair, along with co-stars Kirsten Dunst and Garrett Hedlund, debuted their Jack Kerouac adaptation at the festival earlier in the week.
Though the November release of "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2" marks the final time we'll see Rob and Kristen as vampire loves, it's clear from Cannes that we haven't seen the last of these two together. Swoon.

Переслать - Style Superstar: Taylor Swift Kills It In Crimson At The Billboard Music Awards
We've been bestowing our Style Superstar honors for a while now, so for this week's edition, we decided to switch it up a bit. Yes, we'll still fill you in on Young Hollywood's best and worst dressed, but since both ladies are two of our biggest crushes, we wanted to pen them letters of love as we break the big news. Read on to see who showed off some mean style and whose outfit was a little less than what we were expecting.
Dear Taylor,
You're awesome. In the last few months alone, you sang on Ellen with Zac Efron, wrote some of "The Hunger Games" soundtrack and won two Grammys. We'd wish we could just be jealous and hate you, but when you wear an oh-so-sexy yet remarkably sweet showstopper like this red Elie Saab gown, we simply fall in love with you all over again. You always stay true to who you are even as you're growing up, and we know that underneath that slicked straight coif is the same old small-town girl we've gotten to know through song over the last few years. Congrats on winning Style Superstar, yet again. We can't wait until your next red carpet event!
XOXO,
Hollywood CrushDear Anna,
We love you. You stole the show in every "Twilight" flick, impressed us with your acting chops in "Up in the Air" and won us over again in "50/50." We'll even go see that pregnancy flick because you're in it. Speaking of which, your recent outfit at the UK premiere of "What to Expect When You're Expecting" was, well, questionable. We've come to expect more from you. During the 2010 awards season, you consistently topped our best dressed lists. Why, oh why did you choose an unflattering, grandma-esque muumuu? We know, we know, it's Christian Dior and your stylist probably convinced you it would look fab, but honey, you know better and we know better. Those gorgeous Louboutin pumps and that awesome Mulberry clutch deserve a much better dress to match. And so do you.
XOXO,

Переслать - 'Snow White' Star Charlize Theron Prefers 'Side Nudity'
Most thespians have a special skill or two in their actorly toolbox, be it athletic ability, a pitch-perfect English accent or a blatant disregard for washing their hair. But few are as specific as "Snow White and the Huntsman" star Charlize Theron's.
"I am very good with side nudity," the actress enthused when asked about a few of her sans-shirt scenes in the June 1 release. "I tend to find that's probably my best nudity. Back is a little too back on. I need an angle. I like angular nudity."
The scenes in question depict vain Queen Ravenna dipping into various beauty-enhancing concoctions, which in real life, were mysterious white and black goos.
"I preferred the white because it was heated and the black was not, and it was really really f---ing cold," Charlize said with a grin. "It stained. It actually stained. It was so late, I was like 'Just get it,' and I'm probably going to now die a very slow death because I got into stuff that I don't even know what it was."
But there was an upside, according to Charlize: "I can bend metal with my breath."

Переслать - 'Dreamless' Is A Gift From The Gods
Remember how much fun we had with Josephine Angelini's highly entertaining page-turner of a debut, "Starcrossed?" A lot of fun! I wasn't at all shy about my love for the modern twist on the Helen of Troy myth from Greek mythology. Josie's book deftly combined two of my favorite reading subjects: Greek mythology and teenage angst! Anyway, my fellow readers will agree with the fact that no matter when you discovered and likely devoured "Starcrossed," it has been a painful wait for its sequel "Dreamless" to arrive in bookstores.
Luckily for everyone, the wait is nearly over! "Dreamless" will be unleashed upon the masses on May 29. I was very fortunate to receive an early read of Ms. Angelini's sequel, so I'm going to share with you a few of my favorite things about it, without giving away any major spoilers.
The Underworld
Let's be honest, "Starcrossed" ended with all the characters in a pretty depressing place. The Delos family lost a loved one, Hector had to be sent into exile, and Helen and Lucas thought they were related. "Dreamless" picks up just a few days after the end of that sad conclusion, and the most compelling aspect of the book's first act, as it were, is what we get to find out about the Underworld and Helen's role as the Descender. And despite what we all know about the Underworld, it's not all dark, desolate and depressing. There are a lot of mysterious and mythological forces at work that involve our heroine trying to figure out how to use her powers to release the Scions from the Furies' twisted revenge-y type curse. The appearance of Hades and Persephone is an especially enjoyable addition.Family Matters
The idea of "family" is a big theme at play; in the way Helen must keep her true identity and abilities a secret from her father, the problem with different families of Scions basically at war with one another due to the Fury curse, the impossible heartbreak, confusion and teenage angst from which Helen and Lucas suffer, the Delos family having to deal with banished Hector and the eventual loss of Cassandra. There is also the mention of an ancient prophecy that directly involves Helen, Lucas and the series' most welcome addition, Orion. Basically we're talking about love, duty and honor, and what happens when all three of those elements are in conflict. If you're thinking that it always makes for good storytelling, then you'd be correct!Orion, Orion, Orion, Orion
I was this close to making this entire post a love letter to my new favorite character. But then I realized that would not only be selfish, but a disservice to all the other gems Ms. Angelini has hidden in her sequel. Anyway, I won't say too much about the wonderfully entertaining descendant from Aphrodite except that he is impossibly likable. He's witty, sarcastic, charming, brave, strong, gorgeous and possesses several killer powers/talents. Also he's sort of an orphan, with some major emotional baggage, an affliction I call "the broken sparrow," which is like catnip to some ladies. You will want to love and fix all that ails young Orion. But I digress. How does he figure into the plot? Orion is chummy with Helen's mom, Daphne, sent to try and assist Helen with her quest in the Underworld to conquer the Fury curse. The conquering of said curse sets a bunch of things into motion that tie into the aforementioned ancient (and slightly confusing) prophecy, some Scion-on-God action and the strong hints of an all-out war in the next book. And now begins the seemingly endless wait for book three. Sigh.

Переслать - Lauren Conrad Will Explore 'Rock Bottom' In 'Fame Games' Series
With the first book in Lauren Conrad's "Fame Game" trilogy out, her bad girl leading lady, Madison Parker, is already exploring the murky waters of celebrity. And, if you thought things couldn't get more scandalous for Madison, LC shared with us that it's only going to get juicier as the series progresses.
"The third one is roughly outlined. I know where Madison's going to end up, and I am in the very early stages of the second one right now," she told MTV News about the series, a follow-up to her bestselling "L.A. Candy." And while her spotlight-hungry protagonist may seem hard to love, LC said that she's making sure readers can find redeeming qualities as the story progresses.
"I think that the biggest challenge is to take a love-to-hate character and really humanize her," she explained. "So I knew where I wanted her to start, and I knew where I wanted her to end up and along the way I kind of wanted her to hit rock bottom. So that's where I'm at right now, sort of taking her along her own journey."
Given that LC's never had time to hit rock bottom herself, what with her empire building and all, we wondered if it was hard for her to explore those lows.
"I think there's definitely times, I think, especially when you're younger and you're working in the entertainment industry, it feels very much like high stakes," she said likening her experience on "The Hills" to Madison's experience in La La Land. "So, I think it's hard and a lot of people—it's something that happens a lot in Hollywood is that people hit rock bottom."
The second book in the trilogy, "Starstruck," will hit stores in November.

Переслать - 'Perks Of Being A Wallflower' Gets A Release Date
Remember how we were ready to scream when we found out that "The Perks of Being a Wallflower" trailer will debut during the 2012 MTV Movie Awards pre-show? Well, get ready for another yelp because the film now has an official release date! That's right, Crushers, the "Perks" will open in limited release on September 14! Only four months away—but we're totally keeping it cool and not counting down or anything.
Okay, we totally are. But in our defense, Emma Watson probably is too! When MTV News caught up with her on the Pittsburgh set while she was still filming, she told us all about her anticipation for the project.
"I feel incredible about it. I feel like I've been waiting for 'Perks,'" the "Harry Potter" actress said. "I was waiting for this story, for this script, for this moment, for these people to do it with me. I'm so glad I didn't do anything that I didn't care about."
The film is adapted from Stephen Chbosky's coming-of-age tale, which follows Charlie (Logan Lerman) as he navigates the trials of high school with the help of his new upperclassmen friends, Sam (Emma) and Patrick (Ezra Miller). They bring Charlie out of his shell and make him feel like he's part of something bigger than himself. But as he begins to fall for Sam, things get complicated—such is the life of a teenager.
Emma, Ezra and Logan will be on hand to premiere the first official trailer during the Movie Awards pre-show, so make sure to tune in next Sunday, June 3, for the big reveal!

Переслать - 3 New 'Breaking Dawn - Part 2' Posters Debut!
Seek and you shall find. Following an online scavenger hunt, in which Twilighters followed clues to unscramble and unlock a series of 22 links, the saga's Facebook page revealed three new character posters featuring Bella (Kristen Stewart), Edward (Robert Pattinson) and Jacob (Taylor Lautner).
Bella, unsurprisingly, is in full vamp mode with piercing scarlet eyes, soft waves and...is that a leather jacket we spy? Hot! Per usual, Edward and Jacob look their usual dreamy selves in their own close-cropped images. Each one-sheet boasts the tagline "Forever," likely a reference to the final sentence of author Stephenie Meyer's best-selling source material: "And then we continued blissfully into this small but perfect piece of our forever."
Bella and Edward will continue into their perfect piece of forever on November 16 when "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2" debuts in theaters. And while this marks the franchise's final theatrical bow, you can bet plenty of "Twilight"-themed swag will continue to make its way to store shelves. Case in point: Entertainment Weekly has the cover for "The Twilight Saga: The Complete Film Archive," which debuts October 9.

Переслать - 'Fifty Shades' Of Parody: 9 Spin-Off Novels We'd Read
Fine, fine. We'll come clean (but only if you sign a non-disclosure agreement). We're pretty enamored with the erotic tale of Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele chronicled in E.L. James' best-selling novel "50 Shades of Grey." Obviously we're not the only ones as the trilogy (which also includes "Fifty Shades Darker" and "Fifty Shades Freed") has sold more than 10 million copies in the U.S. since it went on sale six weeks ago. That's a whole lot of kinky sex, you guys.
As the series continues to whip its competition at the bookstore, we couldn't help but ponder a few spin-offs we'd clamor to read. After all, why should Christian and Ana have all the fun? Why not 50 Cent or Sade (whose names are ripe for eye-roll-inducing puns)? So without further ado, please allow us to present our gallery of nine "Fifty Shades of Grey"-inspired novels that should totally happen. (You're welcome, E.L. And we'll only take 25 percent.)
