  • Colton Haynes Discovers The Woes Of Hair Dye

If there's anything we've learned from dyeing our hair, it's that it's a learning process. You'll rarely get the color you want on your first try. Sometimes it takes three or four trips to the salon or the hair product aisle to get the perfect shade. MTV's "Teen Wolf" star Colton Haynes has learned this the hard way.

You should've consulted us, Colton! Although, he doesn't need to be ashamed of the hair color. Holland Roden is his co-star on the supernatural series and has a gorgeous mane of ginger hair—albeit a little different than what he's used to. We're pretty sure Colton can look down right yummy in any hair color.

If you're a fan of "Teen Wolf" then you may already know the good news. The first 10 minutes of the second season are available now on MTV.com. Get a sneak peek at the premiere before it airs on MTV Sunday, June 3, following the Movie Awards!

  • 'Vampire Diaries,' 'Hunger Games' Nab Teen Choice Award Nominations!

It's almost summer, and you know what that means: time to break out the surf boards! The Teen Choice Awards surf boards, that is. The first wave of nominations are in for the July 22 ceremony, and as expected, many of our favorites will hang ten at the annual ceremony.

"The Vampire Diaries" leads the pack with six nominations, including Choice TV Show: Fantasy/Sci-Fi, Choice TV Actor: Fantasy/Sci-Fi (Ian Somerhalder and Paul Wesley), Choice TV Actress: Fantasy/Sci-Fi (Nina Dobrev and Kat Graham) and Choice Hottie (Ian Somerhalder). Bloody great, huh? Among our other fave T.V. series, "Pretty Little Liars," "Glee," "New Girl" and "True Blood" all were nominated, as well.

Jumping from the small screen to the big screen, our newest obsession "The Hunger Games," was definitely not left wanting. The dystopian drama (and the book it's based on) picked up four nominations: Choice Movie: Sci-Fi/Fantasy, Choice Movie Actor: Sci-Fi Fantasy (Josh Hutcherson), Choice Movie Actress: Sci-Fi Fantasy (Jennifer Lawrence) and Choice Book. They'll compete against our favorite "Twilight" bloodsuckers in a number of categories, so some tough decisions will have to be made come voting time.

And let's not forget the Choice Book category! As we mentioned, Suzanne Collins' "The Hunger Games" trilogy received a nomination as did Lois Lowry's "The Giver," Stephenie Meyer's "The Twilight Saga," Veronica Roth's "Divergent" trilogy and Nicholas Sparks' "The Lucky One."

Be sure to check out the full list of nominees at the Teen Choice Awards website.

  • 'What To Expect' Stars Play A Game Of 'Great Expectations'

When presented with the opportunity to sit down with the star-studded cast of "What To Expect When You're Expecting" recently, I had to go in with my A-game. Literally. I went in with a game, wherein I brought up several mundane-yet-universally-experienced scenarios and had the actors weigh-in as to whether they'd have "high" or "low" expectations in the given situation. So highbrow, I know.

Luckily for all of us, Anna Kendrick, Chace Crawford, Cameron Diaz, Matthew Morrison, Rodrigo Santoro, Jennifer Lopez, Elizabeth Banks and Ben Falcone totally played ball, resulting in the hilarious video above. Be sure to listen for Matthew's baby delivery story, Anna's idea for an appearance on "Gossip Girl," and an amazing Andy Warhol-esque version of "Twilight."

  • Julianne Hough Will Retreat To Nicholas Sparks' 'Safe Haven'

Much as we primarily rely on Nicholas Sparks novels-turned-movies to provide a never-ending supply of unattainable fake boyfriends for us to drool over, you really can't have a too-good-to-be-true romance without somebody for the Fake Boyfriend to fall in love with! So it's a good thing that "Safe Haven," the next Sparks story in line to get the cinematic treatment, and which previously announced the casting of Josh Duhamel as its leading man, has found an appealing young actress to fit the bill!

Variety has the report that Julianne Hough, who we last saw shaking her moneymaker in "Footloose," will take on the role of the mysterious woman whose arrival awakens the interest and suspicion of a small town.

Julianne is getting busier by the minute, as this is just the most recent in a spate of professional breakthroughs for the young actress—not bad for someone who only just made the crossover from "Dancing With the Stars" to being one herself. And after "Rock of Ages" and the still-untitled project she's just finished with Diablo Cody directing, we can't wait to see how she handles a gooey emotional role in a serious romance. Even if it's inevitably going to make us feel totally inadequate about our own lives in every possible way. YAY.

Do you think Julianne will make a good Sparks heroine?

  • Style Superstar: Marion Cotillard Kills It At Cannes

Much as we love our American style icons, there's just something about European fashionistas that makes haute couture look even haute-er—and when it comes to pulling off bold style, daring dresses and shoes that speak for themselves, nobody puts it together quite like our favorite celebs from across the Atlantic when they're walking the red carpet at the renowned Cannes Film Festival. Whose unconventional combo had just the je ne sais quoi to score Style Superstar honors? Check out this week's contenders!

For effortless, eclectic style, it doesn't get any better than Marion Cotillard; the French beauty was a serious stunner at the Cannes Film Festival, in a dreamy peach chiffon dress with an eye-catching textured bodice. Marion kept her hair and makeup simple and accessorized with a gold belt and finished off with slingbacks in a matte Naples yellow. Not many celebs would have had the fashion intuition to put together such a perfect buffet of color, texture and weight, but our Style Superstar pulled it off like a pro.

Meanwhile, Diane Kruger donned a coral cocktail dress and bright white sandals for an evening at the Cannes Women in Film celebration—but while Diane can usually do no wrong when it comes to dressing herself, this look was smashing in a not-so-great way, if you get our meaning. Which is too bad, because minus the fact that her cleavage looks like it's been strapped into a torture device, the unexpected color pairing and Diane's fresh-faced makeup would have easily been a winner.

  • 'Katy Perry: Part Of Me' Poster Revealed!

Remember when we sent you on a little scavenger hunt to find all the pieces to the "Katy Perry: Part of Me" movie poster? The search went off without a hitch and the "Teenage Dream"-crooning pop star herself revealed the full poster!

As the singer gives her all on stage in the mirror's reflection, we see Katy dressed in a regular tank and cute floral skirt belting into her hairbrush. Sounds like someone we know...oh yeah, us! We've all had our dreams of fame and Hollywood and hearing a crowd of thousands screaming our name. Katy made her dreams a reality when she grabbed that sparkly, jewel-encrusted microphone and showed the world she was a star.

In true KP fashion, the room surrounding both versions of the singer houses a cat, lots of headbands, retro cat-eye sunglasses, perfume, a record player and candy—what would Katy be without her sweets?! The tagline at the bottom of the poster fittingly reads, "Be yourself and you can be anything."

The concert event hits theaters Fourth of July weekend and will give fans a behind-the-scenes look at how Katy rose to superstardom. Movie-goers will go on a journey through her life—on and off the road. The film chronicles rehearsals, her personal life after her marriage to Russell Brand ended and clips from home videos.

But Katy has always been candid with her fans, sharing news on Twitter and hosting meet and greets at every show. When she sat down with MTV News she told us the film is just an extension of that mentality. "Literally, this film is basically like you're seeing it from my best friend-buddy perspective," she said.

Will you be heading out to theaters in July to catch this film? Tell us the comments and on Twitter!

  • New 'Magic Mike' Trailer: The Banana Hammocks Are Here!

What are the differences between the new international trailer for "Magic Mike" and the previously released one we've already written about? It might not be obvious from the get-go—but just wait it out 'til the end, ladies, and all will be revealed.

    LITERALLY. ALMOST.

This new extended look at the hotly anticipated male stripper movie starts out by using its extra time to flesh out the plot rather than...um, plot out the flesh (if you know what we're saying); at first, the extra material mostly seems aimed at answering the question of just how Alex Pettyfer, male ingenue, falls in with Channing Tatum and his group of buff and bawdy exotic dancers that make up the film's central cast of characters. But it doesn't take long for the trailer to deliver some meatier goods—beginning with some rapid-cut dance sequences that leave no question as to the cast's super-slick moves, followed by a pants-off dance-off that showcases some well-muscled thighs, and most importantly, ending with a (brief but it totally happened) shot of the whole "Magic Mike" cabaret tearing their trousers off to reveal everything but the goods.

Yep, that's right: the thongs are here, and they are spectacular. And if this teensy peek at the film is any indication of what's in store for audiences, the final cut is going to be an eyeful of beef in the best possible way.

  • 'Vampire Diaries' Star Nina Dobrev: Elena's 'Going To Be A Terrible Vampire'

Change is a constant in the not-so-sleepy town of Mystic Falls, but the big reveal during last week's season finale of "The Vampire Diaries" was gamechanger in the truest sense of the word: Elena is a vampire!

How will she fare as a bloodsucker? And what will her transformation mean for season four? These are the questions we posed to the series' stars when we caught up with them at this week's CW upfront.

"I think she's going to be a terrible vampire because she doesn't want to be a vampire, so she's gonna kinda be like a Stefan vampire," Nina Dobrev said of her character. "I don't know—she's going to probably try to eat bunnies instead of people. It's going to be no fun. But it's going to be fun for me. Then Katherine will be eating people and Elena will try to save the people."

Co-star Candice Accola wasn't sure about Elena's vampiric abilities, but she did wonder at what point all of these supernatural shenanigans will be too much for the town's residents to take.

"I don't know," Candice admitted. "That's going to be the thing. I feel like all these characters—it's getting to the point, what's going to be the straw that breaks the camel's back? What's going to be the breaking point? You know Elena's already had a lot of loss in her life, and even for her brother, Jeremy: What's going to be his breaking point?"

Speaking of Jeremy, his real-life doppelganger, Steven R. McQueen, also hinted that Elena's change may spell bad things for our favorite mortal.

"I think it gives us a lot of interesting places to go and see what happens next season," Steven said. "Jeremy's tried to—his main objective is to keep the people he loves safe, and he's failed doing that with his parents and some people he's loved and now his sister. So I think at the end of the day, through these three seasons, he's grown really callous, and it's just going to add to that."

Wondering how this season of "Degrassi" will end? Well, we can't give it all away, but we can offer you an EXCLUSIVE sneak peek at what is in store for the kids of the hit show.

In the clip Hollywood Crush got its pretty little hands on, Fiona is in full freak-out mode as she's dealing with the stress of her family's financial troubles. Oh, but that's not all. In true "Degrassi" fashion, there's even more drama. As she's packing up her clothes, she confesses, "There is no bright side. I came back to Degrassi to prove myself, but I got bullied out of student council, my marks are mediocre, the carnival's a bust. I failed."

And the trouble doesn't end there. Per a summary that leaves us only wanting to know more, there's a bunch of other crazy biz-nazz expected to go down. Like what?

With no money to pay for the winter carnival, Fiona realizes it's time to call it off and move home. Imogen is angry and upset when she hears the news, so Fiona makes one last attempt to raise the funds. Clare almost has the newspaper back on track, but the arts section is still a mess. • Alexa Vega Ponders Peeta's Love For Katniss

Not too long ago there was an e-card floating around our Facebook newsfeed that read, "I work out because I know I would've been the first to die in 'The Hunger Games.'" And while we laughed and nodded at the joke, one of our very own trained like a tribute and survived to tell the tale! But we often wonder if the reason Peeta fell in love with Katniss was because of her survival instincts.

Alexa Vega read our minds today when she tweeted about her time at the gym. The first thought that came to us was, "Well, no, because if she couldn't survive she would've died a long time ago." After all, with her father's passing causing her mother to go into shock and her sister Prim being too young to help with hunting, their survival was left up to Katniss. But that's just our rational side talking.

Our Team Peeta side screams, "Of course Peeta would love Katniss regardless! They are made for each other after all!" (We're sorry if we offended any of you Team Gale fans. Kind of.) But really, who are we kidding? Katniss wouldn't be Katniss if she didn't kick ass and take names. What would "Hunger Games" be without bows and arrows and snares and love triangles?

Do you think Peeta would love Katniss if she wasn't so badass? Spill your thoughts in the comments and on Twitter!
