  • Demi Lovato Joins Britney Spears As New 'X Factor' Judge

It's official, Lovatics! Our beloved Demi Lovato is going to be a judge on the next season of "The X Factor"! She's rounding out the judges table of series creator Simon Cowell, music executive L.A. Reid and pop music sensation Britney Spears. Whew, these contestants are going to have one hell of a group to impress.

MTV News asked a few experts their thoughts on the show's two newbies, and Celebuzz editor Amber James predicted Demi's "bubbly personality" will break Britney out of her shell. "They seem like they'd bounce off each other well and provide a nurturing and safe atmosphere, where Britney can really get into her role, without fear of saying the wrong thing and truly be herself," she said.

The two pop divas have definitely had their share of trials and tribulations growing up in the spotlight, but they're currently focusing on their careers and "X Factor" is just another step in the right direction.

Before Demi begins the show this fall, fans can catch her as she headlines a summer tour with Hot Chelle Rae as her opening act. (Fun fact about HCR, the lead guitarist is Chord Overstreet's brother.)

    Until next time, Tweet Dreams!

  • How I Met My Hollywood Crush: Chaske Spencer

Let's be honest, we all have a Hollywood Crush—a cutie whose sheer existence inspires countless fever dreams and inestimable hours of Google Image gawking. For a lucky few, those fantasies become reality when faced with said star...in real life. Welcome to How I Met My Hollywood Crush, in which readers recall the time they rubbed elbows with their special celebrity someone!

This week Sarah Sands recounts her run-in with the actor who plays Quileute pack leader Sam in "The Twilight Saga": Chaske Spencer!

Just like any other person out there I am obsessed with "Twilight." The only thing different about me is that I am not Team Edward or Team Jacob. I am Team Sam Uley (a.k.a. Chaske Spencer). So when I found out that a Twilight Convention was going to be just a mile away from my apartment, and Chaske was going to be there, I had to go.

Meeting him was an awesome experience, and I had a great time. Fast forward to one year later, I was at the Mall of America shopping with my mom and I happen to look over to my left and see none other than Chaske himself! I couldn't believe it.

He was just randomly at the mall in Minnesota. I went over and said hi and he was as gracious as ever. We talked for a few minutes and was more than happy to take a picture with me. After we finished talking I couldn't believe I just ran into my favorite actor in "Twilight"! Talk about being at the right place at the right time! I will always be Team Sam Uley.

  • Kristen Stewart, Charlize Theron Are Beauties In Black At 'Snow White' Premiere

Mirror be damned! If you ask us, Snow White and the Evil Queen are the fairest of them all.

"Snow White and the Huntsman" co-stars Kristen Stewart and Charlize Theron walked the green carpet in London today, flaunting their figures in a pair of form-fitting black dresses as they celebrated the world premiere of their fairytale flick. Kristen opted for a lacy, long-sleeved Marchesa gown, while Charlize choose a haltered Christian Dior. Both showed off plenty of leg in sheer, flowing skirts.

Also on hand for the premiere was new dad Chris Hemsworth, looking as handsome as ever in a gray suit and black button-down (with no spit-up in sight!). And the only adjective to describe cast mate Sam Claflin's look would have to be debonaire, as he cut a fine form in a navy suit with a light blue pocket square. (It's all in the details, gents.)

The only unfashionable thing about this premiere? The fact that we still have to wait two weeks for the film to hit theaters stateside on June 1. Hmph.

  • Sarah Jessica Parker, Kate Hudson Sign On For 'Glee' Season 4 Guest Roles

"Glee" is known for its array of glitzy guest stars. Some stay for a multi-episode arc, like Gwyneth Paltrow or Kristin Chenoweth, and some have a brief episode stint, like Neil Patrick Harris or Whoopi Goldberg, but all the actors make a splash shaking up the glee club and singing fun musical numbers.

As Fox announced a fourth season for its popular musical series, TVLine reported that Sarah Jessica Parker and Kate Hudson will make cameos in the upcoming season! The "Sex and the City" actress returns to the small screen to play Chris Colfer's mentor, and while Kate's character is hush-hush, we do know she'll join the cast for six episodes.

TVLine also noted that next season will take on a "show-within-a-show" format. It will continue the storylines back at McKinley High while likely following Rachel Berry and Kurt Hummel as they begin their new lives in New York. It's a lot to juggle for one series, but since the show isn't a stranger to taking on challenging plots and covering daring topics, hopefully the show won't flounder with all the changes afoot. We're keeping our fingers crossed!

But before we get ahead of ourselves, Gleeks, we haven't even finished this season yet. Tomorrow night's "Glee" is sure to bring the laughs and the drama in a special two-hour episode. When Tina falls in a fountain and suffers a concussion, she awakes as Rachel to find the whole gang, including Mr. Schue and Cheerios coach Sue Sylvester, have swapped bodies. Yikes! When the fever dream subsides and New Directions returns to normal, they'll head out to Chicago for Nationals to perform in front of celebrity judge Lindsay Lohan. It's shaping up to be the episode of the season.

  • 'Girls' Recap: 'Hard Being Easy'

A flashback, an almost sex scandal and a breakup: just another Sunday night on "Girls."

Hannah was still dealing with fallout from the journal incident. Excuse me, notebook incident. "I feel like journal applies to a 13-year-old girl who rides horses and is obsessed with her mom, and that's just not what I'm about," Hannah huffed as Charlie and Marnie debated the authenticity of Hannah's notebook musings. Marnie said Hannah didn't know anything, but Charlie seemed to disagree, storming out and taking with him the Restoration Hardware-esque table he crafted for his sweetheart. Marnie vowed to win him back.

Hannah headed off to work with Jessa in tow, discussing her boss' sexually harassing ways. Jessa suggested Hannah have sex with him—mostly for the story potential—but Hannah insisted she couldn't because she has a boyfriend. Or at least she thought she had a boyfriend in Adam. But something must have changed her mind because once at work, Hannah propositioned her boss: "You're gross, I'm gross." Clearly sound logic as to why two people should do it. When boss balked ("I'm a married man!"), she threatened to go all Erin Brockovich on him and initiate a class-action lawsuit. "There's no suing app on your phone," he countered. Spinning her wheels, Hannah then tried to extort $1,000 out of him for her silence. Despite all of her crazy rants, boss was incredulously willing to give her another chance: "You're great. You don't know how to do anything, but you have so much potential," he said. Hannah quit anyway.

Meanwhile, Marnie went about winning Charlie back. First order of business: finding out where he lived. Yep, in the five years they'd been dating, Marnie had never been to Charlie's apartment, yet somehow she knew where to find his friend/bandmate Ray to ask him for the address. And let me just say Charlie's apartment looks nothing like any 20-something guy's apartment I've seen. To quote Marnie, "It's like a Target ad," what with its general tidiness and hand-crafted, blond-wood furnishings. Charlie insisted history was the only thing keeping them together, which provided the first flashback opportunity for the series:

It was Oberlin College's 2007 Galactic Safe Sex Ball, and a head-banded Marnie refused to leave her spot leaning against a poll because she was scared after scarfing down pot-laced, Jell-O-shot-topped brownies. Hannah promised she'd stay by her...until her now-gay boyfriend bounced over wanting to dance to Scissor Sisters. BF asked then-stranger Charlie to watch over Marnie, and as they say, the rest is history.

This whole Marnie-Charlie exchange reminded me of that episode of "Friends," in which Ross tries to win Rachel back after sleeping with the copy girl ("We were on a break!"). But unlike that episode, Charlie decided to take Marnie back. The two proceeded to have sex in Charlie's cramped loft bed, but midway through, Marnie just couldn't do it and declared their relationship was over.

For the second episode this season, Jessa was tied down with a non-starter plotline in which she hooked up with an old boyfriend. (Can we get a forward-moving story for this girl soon?) Anyway, the highpoint of the dalliance was watching virginal Shoshanna spy on them from behind a curtain. Little perv, indeed.

As she's wont to do following one of her many crises, Hannah went to Adam's apartment to find solace. Except, he didn't understand why she was there considering she'd said she wanted to end things with him when last they saw each other. But that was before the sex. Confused, Hannah retreated to the bathroom to gather her thoughts. When she came out to leave, she found Adam getting busy with himself. He encouraged her to stay and watch, which was a bit strange. Add dirty talk and Hannah pilfering $100 for cab fare from his dresser, and the whole thing was incredibly bizarre and uncomfortable. Like we said, just another Sunday night for "Girls."

What did you think of last night's "Girls"? Do you think Marnie and Charlie are broken up for good? Will Hannah find another job in time to pay rent? And what's up with her and Adam? Sound off in the comments and on Twitter!

  • Birthday Boy Robert Pattinson Celebrates In Style

Every day a multitude of stars wander through the halls of MTV News to talk about their latest projects and goof around with staff members. But sometimes we catch stars elsewhere, and that's why we put together Spotted!, a daily compendium of stars in the wild.

Robert Pattinson celebrated his birthday in London last night, and from the looks of this pic, he might've been late to his own party! The actor was caught mid-stride and on the run outside Claridge's, where he rushed to join some celebrity friends and celebrate his 26th in style. (Although despite the classy venue, Rob opted for a distinctly casual look.)

Kristen Stewart, Rob's BFF Tom Sturridge and Sturridge's fiancee Sienna Miller all joined the birthday boy for a low-key evening, and actor Hugh Jackman was spotted entering the building as well—though whether it was for the party or just because he had a hankering for fine food, nobody seems to know. (We can only hope an impromptu sing-a-long ensued...)

[Editor's Note: An earlier version of this story reported Kristen Stewart was not in attendance, but a few eagle-eyed readers pointed out that she was. We regret the error.]

  • 'True Blood' Season 5 Trailer Hemorrhages Awesomeness

For those who remained unsatisfied with those itty-bitty behind-the-scenes teasers for season five of "True Blood" that we've been seeing all month, here's some delightful news: The official full-length trailer for the upcoming season debuted last night, and where the previous clips were mere trickles of the "True Blood" we're so thirsty for, this one is a full-on gusher.

So, what's in store when the series returns on June 10? Among other things: an extended look at new addition to the cast Christopher Meloni (Yay!), who is wearing a suit (Boo! We wanted nudity!) and issuing dire warnings about the consequences should the resident vampires fail to locate Russell Edgington and stop him from ripping out anybody else's spinal column on national television. And yep, that's Russell himself in that final shot (and also, we think, laughing evilly in voice-over during the title screen)—leading us to believe that the glorious Mr. Edgington is not only back in a big way, but that his nascent movement to bring about vampire supremacy is going to be the primary problem for the Bon Temps crew this season.

And if that wasn't reason enough to get seriously psyched for season five, these things also appear in the trailer: the be-fanged Reverend Newlin (now channeling his evangelism in quite the opposite direction), the absolutely rabid Jessica (so much hotter with her fangs out!), and the not-so-subtle suggestion that this might be the season in which Sookie and Alcide quit tiptoeing through the platonic tulips and get their werewolf-faerie freak on. FINALLY.

Are you sick of the sucky waiting for "True Blood" to return?
