Jared Leto (kinda) flashes us... we want more.
There's one serious bromance going on between Jared Leto and famous photographer Terry Richardson. From what we can tell, the guys have photo shoots like, on the daily. See this faux fur stole photo and the photo of Jared sleeping on some steps, for starters. We can't blame Terry for wanting to photograph the picture-perfect star all the time. (And we'd also like to thank him b0th for the "Death By Flash" photo that the 30 Seconds to Mars singer just posted on Facebook and for the fantasies that have ensued.) If we were friends with Jared (a life goal we hope to achieve by using the powers of "The Secret"), we'd be snapping shots of that gorgeous face all the time. And also probably having them blown up into life-sized cardboard cut-outs that we'd carry around with us to dinner and to the movies... What? It's called DATING!

This guy really loves his cat. And Seal.
A very special video has been somersaulting around the internet this week, and it consists of our two most favorite things in the universe: cats (any and all!) and Seal's "Kiss From A Rose." In the video, a guy who is admittedly under alcohol's influence sings Seal's emo-est song to his cat! WHO HASN'T BEEN THERE?
We could try to describe this brilliant masterpiece, but most human words won't ever do it the justice it so deserves. While we anxiously await Seal's reaction video, we suggest you sit back, grab your kitten, and watch one of the best cat videos ever made. Well, maybe with the exception of Taylor Swift's cat video masterpiece.

Marianas Trench get even more cinematic in their new "Desperate Measures" video.
We've been obsessed with Marianas Trench and their unabashed flair for dramatics, multi-part harmonies and power chords, their Canadian-ness and their LOLs even before they were our January 2012 PUSH artist (HAIRFLIP!). They released their third studio album, Ever After, in late 2011, featuring the outrageously anthemic single (seriously, when we become super wealthy and rich from blogging, we're going to travel everywhere by helicopter and demand that that song play every time we land), "Fallout." And while that video led us into some terribly troubled relationship territory, their new "Desperate Measures" video reveals that while Marianas Trench can't learn from their mistakes, at least they have a sense of humor about it.

In their new "Desperate Measures" video, the power-pop foursome fall victim to a crazed (yet hot) chick who happens to have magical powers (as hot chicks so often do). Said chick creates voodoo dolls and ultimate control of the boys, forcing them into key pop culture moments including the underwear scene from Tom Cruise's "Risky Business," a scene from the movie "Toy Story" that includes language we do not remember from the film, and an amalgam of every '90s boy band. While we're not quite sure what "Risky Business" has to do with voodoo, we're pleased to note that Josh Ramsay rises to the occasion and GOES IN where not wearing pants is concerned, and we're positive there's a larger lesson hidden somewhere and it's probably that grown-ups really shouldn't be playing with dolls.

We're starting to think there's some sorta cute kitty conspiracy going on in Hollywood. Seriously, all our favorite lady celebs must belong to this secret society where you adopt cats and then take the WORLD'S MOST ADORBZ PHOTOS EVER with them. Don't believe us? Just check out Taylor Swift's furry friend, Katy Perry's kitty, and now Ke$ha. But is anyone else even slightly surprised that the Ke$ha isn't wearing her Siamese kitty as a beard... just sayin'.
The "Blow" singer may be busy working on her new record (we've been listening to her "Supernatural" snippet on repeat), but that doesn't mean she can't squeeze in some snuggle time with her favorite feline and share the photo on Twitter. We're just wondering if the photo's caption, "me + kitty gonna go write dem hits," holds any truth. Does that mean we have a potential Meow Mix commercial/"Animal" mash-up in our near future?! Because honestly, I'd bump that. We have our eyes on you, kitties of the world.

Mac Miller teams with Casey Veggies and Joey Bada$$ on "America."
Mac Miller released his new "America" video just in time for the Fourth. And he's not alone -- Miller's laid-back ode to the 50 states features Casey Veggies (whom we recently spotted on DWHY's new jam "Kill Me Now") and Brooklyn's own Joey Bada$$. We'd be remiss if we didn't mention that some folks might not approve of a patriotic anthem that has almost too many instances of profanity to keep track of. But this is Mac Miller's America, and we're just renting land from him.

"America," which appears on his Macadelic mixtape, features a retro-tinged Hannibal King-produced track over which the three MC's join forces. The Mike Waxx- and Mike Carson-directed clip was shot entirely in New York City on April 25 as a way to commemorate the day that Mac sold out Roseland Ballroom. (Awesome job, bro). In the video, Mac and his buddies have a serious chill sesh somewhere backstage. They drink, they rhyme, and occasionally wave the American flag around like Matadors -- as one does! -- as sick post-production animation provides the clip with cool line drawings, and animated spliffs. Because AMERICA!

Rihanna is a clothed vision in white on the August cover of Harper's Bazaar.
The best part about Rihanna is that one minute she can totally forget to wear all her clothes (please see here and here and here), and the next, she can wear lots of them and look equally as bangin'. Rihanna is Harper's Bazaar's August 2012 cover girl, and not only is she fully clothed (it's cool, but don't make a habit of it) but she is STUN-NING! Decked in a revealing white dress in one shot and then a sparkly gold ONESIE with knee-high snakeskin boots (that outfit is my spirit animal, BTW) in the other, Rihanna worked her best I DGAF face as she confidently posed for the spread.

Inside the issue, Rihanna opens up and admits she's fearful of love: "When I was in love, I fell so hard. I was really, really, really in love. The way it made me feel was priceless. And in a blink of an eye my whole life changed. Everything that I knew was different. I never thought I'd feel that pain in my life. I'm afraid of feeling that again." We totally feel you on that one sister, but please, don't forget, any woman who can successfully pull off a sparkly gold onsesie deserves only the best in life! So don't settle.

FIDLAR can probably surf and definitely rock.
In the grand tradition of power chord heroes from Social Distortion to blink-182, L.A. rockers FIDLAR play silly, catchy SoCal punk. Their "PUSH Live" performance of "Max Can't Surf" captures the quartet in all their youthful, grungy glory: It's a summer anthem whether or not you're planning on hitting the waves. "Max Can't Surf" is a teenage ode to a hipster dude who's having trouble finding his away around a longboard: "Stop wearing tight jeans/put on some board shorts," the lyrics go, and that's good advice for anyone, especially after all that Fourth of July grilling/drinking/pie-eating.
FIDLAR pours out the track from a unique circular setup that finds them smashing up a colorful piñata, which is somehow cooler than an expensive light show. We're almost surprised Katy Perry didn't think of it first. Guitars, breaking stuff, delicious candy: Even Henry Rollins would be proud. Then he would go to the gym and drink a protein shake. In the meantime, you'll find FIDLAR scarfing at Del Taco, working on the full-length follow-up to last year's breakthrough EP, "DIYDUI," and striking fear into the hearts of piñatas everywhere.

Lady Gaga wore a bra to the airport guys, but it's totally chill. Here's why... BECAUSE SHE'S LADY GAGA. As if anyone would question her! Please. Decked in only a black bra, a black cape, and what seem like black cargo pants (that probably cost as much as a Smart Car), Mother Monster was snapped at Melbourne Airport yesterday as she prepared to board a private jet to continue her tour through Australia.
And yes, we know what you're thinking -- if Lady Gaga is baller enough to fly on a private jet then she's also allowed to wear anything she wants on board. And truthfully, we agree. We're just wondering why if she's flying private, The Lady wouldn't just wanna chill out in something a little less binding? Obviously we don't have to remind Gaga how bloating traveling can be! Then again, this is the chick who wore lipstick even while holed up in bed with a concussion, so the rules of fashion, comfort and, most likely the rules of the Federal Aviation Administration do not apply.

Miley Cyrus BROUGHT IT with her super festive Fourth of July outfit.
While that sixth hot dog you shoved in your mouth oozed a nasty ketchup stain on your American flag swimsuit during a backyard BBQ (just us?), Miley Cyrus spent her Independence Day a little differently. Basically, she reminded us that she's THE ULTIMATE All-American girl with her extremely festive Fourth of July getup. Um, obvs -- If anyone knows how to "Party in the U.S.A.," it's Miley, ya'll!
The recently engaged singer shared the photo on Twitter along with the caption wishing everyone a "Happy 4th." But can we just take a second to dissect the AH-MAZINGNESS of this picture? The whole outfit is flawlessly patriotic: the flags, the fun "U.S.A." headband, and the denim dress girl is wearing screams "born to be an American!" She even took it to the next level and matched her lipstick shade to the flag's red!
In between Katy Perry's sparkly Parade cover, Kevin Jonas' chic Uncle Sam look (bet you didn't even know that was a "look") and now Miley's flashy addition, we just couldn't be prouder seeing how some of our most famous Americans celebrated the birth of our nation. (We're pretty sure our founding forefathers would totally agree.)
