- Star Spotting: Justin Bieber Wears Money-Lined Pants To Subway, Drives Off In $100K Chrome Car
Justin Bieber debuts his Canada Day look: MONEY PANTS, and a foot-long Subway sandwich.
Seriously, how the hell else is Justin Bieber supposed to celebrate the anniversary of the the British North America Act of 1867 which united three colonies into his native Canada other than by rolling into a Subway to pick up a sub and then rolling out in his Chrome Karma Fisker?? 'Cause if expensive whips and Subway sammies don't reek of Canadian patriotism, then we don't know what the hell does.
The "All Around The World" singer was snapped yesterday getting out of his mad-expensive car (sticker price: $100,000, and I gotta believe you're tacking on a least a couple more bills for the all-chrome option) and picking up a delicious foot-long. Oh, and did we mention that Justin Bieber's is wearing MONEY PANTS? As in sweats that literally have (fake) money falling out of them? We'd normally be like UM NO on the money pants thing, but Justin was the winner of our epic Battle Of The Two Justins, which somehow makes them seem totally appropriate.

Переслать - New Songs: Lupe Fiasco 'Around My Way (Freedom Ain't Free)' + 'B**** Bad'
Lupe hangs with cartoon pals and brings a message with "Around My Way (Freedom Isn't Free)" and "B**** Bad."
The last time we checked in with Lupe Fiasco, he was mired in a mini-controversy with Pete Rock over the use of a very familiar sample used on both of their songs. Rock felt dissed that the prominent sax from "They Reminisce Over You (T.R.O.Y.)" was used in a nearly identical way on Lupe's song "Around My Way (Freedom Ain't Free)." Since that has died down a bit (with a little help from The Roots' own Questlove), we finally have a clip for the contentious track.
In addition to "Around My Way," Lupe released another track that deals with a certain word he feels we should think about before throwing around it so casually.
Listen to Lupe Fiasco "Around My Way (Freedom Ain't Free)" and "B**** Bad" after the jump.
Both songs have the music with a message bend that we've come to know from Lupe. "Around My Way" asks us to open our eyes to our ugly past, so we can do better for our future. "Reporting live from the other side what you hear/ A bunch of nonsense all in my ear/ Rich man, poor man, we all gotta pay/ Cause freedom ain't free, especially 'round my way," he says while cleverly using the stereotypical hip-hop imagery of chains and expensive cars with his biting bars (along with pot smoking cartoons for some reason, maybe that was over our heads).
On "B**** Bad," Lupe rhymes about the gender politics that ladies have to deal with and how both sexes are taught to dismiss the weight of their words. "Yeah, I say/ B**** bad, woman good, lady better," he spits on the chorus. If there's one thing to expect from Lupe Fiasco, it's that he will definitely speak his mind. Lupe's fourth album Lupe Fiasco's Food & Liquor II: The Great American Rap Album, Part 1 drops September 25.

Переслать - A Rabbi, A Lion & David Hasselhoff Walk Into A Train Video
Train isn't taking this breakup well.
If there were an award for getting songs stuck in your head, Train would have about a million. "Drops Of Jupiter" alone has been playing on a continuous loop in our brain for over a decade, interrupted only by napping and the occasional R. Kelly jam. The band's latest earworm is "50 Ways To Say Goodbye," an upbeat track that takes both denial and "you're dead to me" to a whole new place.
The theme here is that Pat got dumped, and instead of facing the fact that soul sister's JUST NOT THAT INTO HIM, he tells everyone that she died in a multitude of effed-up and creative ways. To support the darkly humorous track, Train's goofball video begins with singer Pat Monahan hanging at the grocery store with David Hasselhoff (as one does), who apparently has a real eye for ripe tomatoes as well as American talent.
Watch Train's "50 Ways To Say Goodbye" video after the jump.
The dynamic duo's surprised by a mariachi band in the canned goods aisle -- can this happen in real life? -- before switching to rock 'n' roll in time for the chorus. Along the way, Monahan gets advice from the Grim Reaper as a number of possible girlfriend deaths play out, including a beheading by a "crappy purple Scion" (I'm imagining Scion's currently crossing Train off their list of potential artists whose tours they're willing to throw cash behind) and a close encounter with a lion that likes blondes. Of course, she winds up in one piece -- with the ingredients for a delicious salad (as well as an the ENORMOUS cucumber, wink wink).
And so, in summary, Train's new video contains David Hasselhoff, a real lion, a rabbi (did we mention the rabbi and the fact that Train rhymed "love like yours" with Yom Kippur? Because that happened), a mariachi band, and a giant cucumber. I'd say that Train wins, but really, I feel like we all do.

Переслать - New Video: Zak Waters, 'Skinny Dipping In The Deep End'
Despite wearing a blazer and pants in the photo above, Zak Waters throws a clothing-optional pool party.
Summer is a time for pool parties, hot nights and sweet jams -- lucky for us, Zak Waters' "Skinny Dipping in the Deep End" video has that combo on lock. The L.A. musician's new jam sounds like Foster The People getting pumped with Maroon 5, all high-energy Saturday-night synths and soulful, Adam Levine-y vocals.
The video's a feel-good story, capturing a shy guy finding a friend and losing his inhibitions -- and his pants! -- on his way into the water. And the music's not too damn loud for the older couple next door, who opt to dive right in instead of calling the cops. Only in a music video, you guys. Then again… Siri, where can we find cool neighbors? (Maybe Zooey Deschanel can tell us!)
Expect to hear a whole lot more from Zak Waters in the coming months: he's got guest vocals coming on tracks by producers Madeon and DCUP as well as an album of his own. In the meantime, your summer playlist just got one jam longer.

Переслать - Pink's 'Blow Me (One Last Kiss)' Demo Surfaces... And It's EVERYTHING!
Pink's "Blow Me (One Last Kiss)" makes it clear that she does the dumping.
Miraculously, in between being the most amazing mom ever, Pink's found time to head back to the studio, and today a demo of her new break-up anthem,"Blow Me (One Last Kiss)" surfaced, and it's SO good it almost makes us wanna start a relationship and then quickly end it just so we can celebrate with this song.
"Blow Me (One Last Kiss)" will serve as a single off Pink's still-untitled sixth studio album. Vaguely reminiscent of "Raise Your Glass," (also, hat tip to that little guitar riff that sounds like Modest Mouse's "Float On") Pink's new jam is a high-energy, get-over-him, one-woman revolution that showcases her gritty pipes and reminds us of her no-BS policy: "You'll be calling a trick/'Cause you no longer sleep/ I'll dress nice, I'll look good/I'll go dancing alone/I will laugh, I'll get drunk/I'll take somebody home." Served.

Переслать - New Video: Midnight Red 'Hell Yeah'
Meet Midnight Red, your new favorite boy band.
Imagine what would happen if you assembled a boy band out of the spare parts of Far East Movement, Taio Cruz and LMFAO. Aside from really intense hair and party pants, you'd also get Los Angeles pop group Midnight Red. We're not sure if it's cool to call them a "boy band" per se, but that's precisely what they are -- a hard-partying, and blatantly attractive band of boys who sing!
Watch Midnight Red's "Hell Yeah" video after the jump.
"Hell Yeah," a RedOne-produced jam, is an homage to wilding out, and if it hasn't already, it'll become your new favorite "getting ready" song from now until you're too old to party. In the video, the bros gather up some chicks (as you do), spray everyone with Silly String (no innuendo there!), and there are also some dance breaks in an abandoned skate park before the the party moves to a blow-up bouncy house. Silly String, bouncy house and dudes with perfectly gelled hair engaging in lock-step choreo? This is basically my definition of a dream date.

NEW ALBUM RELEASES
Tuesday, July 3
+ Chris Brown, Fortune: Lately he's been making more news from controversy (from the recent reported scuffle with Drake to the Rihanna remix to Twitter beefs and feuds) than for his music, but we'll guess Team Breezy's happy to put the focus on a new album. On the 14-song set he teams up with Big Sean and Wiz Khalifa for "Till I Die," and "Mirage" features Nas. The Deluxe Edition includes five additional tunes.
+ Flo Rida, Wild Ones: On his new record the Miami rapper's trading some sugar with Jennifer Lopez on "Sweet Spot," which is about candy...or not (double entendre much? Also see "Whistle"). He also asks comic Keith Apicary to hilariously dance in the video for "Let It Roll," enlists Sia for an awesome chorus assist on "Wild Ones" and pairs with LMFAO's RedFoo on the club-ready "Run."
+ Various Artists American Idol Season 11 Top 10 Highlights: Relive American Idol's Season 11 with songs covered by several of the contestants. Joshua Ledet takes on James Brown's "It's A Man's Man's Man's World," runner-up Jessica Sanchez sings Whitney Houston's "I Will Always Love You," and check out Season 11 winner Phillip Phillips' rendition of Damien Rice's "Volcano."
Check out more new album releases and upcoming TV appearances and performances after the jump.
+ ASIA, XXX: Composed of prog rock titans from Yes, King Crimson, Emerson Lake & Palmer and Uriah Heap, these guys stormed the world with the best selling album of 1982. Thirty years after that chart-topping debut, the British group returns with the aptly named XXX. Their single "Face On The Bridge" is vintage ASIA, which is to say classic classic rock.
+ Tha Dogg Pound, Doggy Bag: Despite having only released one studio album (until now) on Death Row Records, the duo were a big part of the label's fabric. Kurupt and Dat N---- Daz guested on Dr. Dre's groundbreaking The Chronic and Snoop Dogg's solo debut, their self-titled debut hit #1 on the charts and solo projects ensued. Almost two decades later they return with Doggy Bag. Check out "Big Pimpin" featuring Snoop Dogg and Snoop also assists with the late Nate Dogg on "Every Single Day."

Переслать - Watch Jaden Smith's 'Gonzoes' Video And Willow Smith's 'I Am Me' Video
It's all love between Jaden and Willow Smith as they pose together at the 2012 BET Awards
OOOOh snap! Someone's getting sent to bed without dinner! There's a mini fued brewin' in the Smith Family home, and it may be time for some parental intervention. Here's why: Jaden Smith released a new rap video and it basically cut down his little sister Willow! Um, RUDE. Meanwhile, Willow released a new video, and she's taking the high road (on a bike, because she's old enough to drive or even, like see a PG-13 movie) because she didn't even mention Jaden. ICED!
+ Watch Jaden Smith's "Gonzoes" video, and watch Willow Smith's "I Am Me" video after the jump.
Jaden's already collaborated with Justin Bieber, but he's rolling solo in his "Gonzoes" clip. Set to a menacing beat, Jaden shows off his rapping prowess and fires a few shots at Willow: "Now Willow is the star, man, how weak is that? Pink hair, high socks, can't compete with that." Way harsh, Tai! Though, Jaden's a sweet kid at heart and takes a second to apologize at the end of the track: "Sorry if I'm coming off a bit hostile, Gonzoes." OK cool, but don't tell us, tell Willow!
We don't have to remind you that Willow Smith is the biggest l'il baller -- please see HERE and HERE and HERE -- and clearly the best way to get back at her bro is by upstaging him in her own video, and in this case it's "I Am Me," a moving ballad that's surprisingly poignant for an 11-year old. Once again, Willow proves to be wise beyond her years as she hangs out in New York City (also sweetie, where are your parents?!) singing about self-worth and respect: "I am me/I am me/Here's my vulnerability/I'm free/And you can't stop me/I am me/And that's all I can be." Dammmn, it usually takes years of
therapyexperience to come to that realization, yet Willow's done it in a mere 11 years. Props to Will and Jada for raising a little Yoda.+ Watch Jaden Smith's "Gonzoes" video, and watch Willow Smith's "I Am Me" video.

Переслать - Star Spotting: Jay-Z, Beyonce, Kanye West And Kim Kardashian Go On The Best Double Date Ever
Just a casual double date with ma besties. No biggie.
HOLY EVERYTHING! Is this even on? Because there's absolutely no way the
worldinternet is still functioning after seeing this much star power in one singular image. The 2012 BET Awards aired last night, and though there were a ton of great performances (shouts to Usher's impeccable falsetto in "Climax" and the return of D'Angelo!!!), perhaps the most important moment of the evening occurred when American Royalty, also known Kim Kardashian + Kanye West (Kimye) and Jay-Z + Beyoncé (the King and Queen of perfection), all sat next to each other and clearly HAD THE BEST TIME!See more photos and a performance from Kanye West after the jump
This group gives good face.
We ask you: Is there anything cuter than seeing The Throne laughing and joking together while sipping on some bubbly? Actually, why yes! Yes there is, and it would be Kim and Kanye wearing color-coordinated outfits. Then, of course there's Beyoncé, the lady who recently pushed a live being through her womb yet still looks like a poised and flawless queen in a yellow ballgown. And let's not forget Solange, who seems totally chill and undoubtedly all like "Hi, this is my life!!!" KAY, so whom do I speak to about licensing this image for my next Hanukkah card/future wedding invitation?
