- Emma Watson Returning To Brown University
Emma Watson is ready to go back to school. After taking a break from the world of academia, the actress will once again enroll in classes at Brown University.
According to her rep (via Gossip Cop), "The Perks of Being a Wallflower" starlet will return to campus just in time for the winter 2013 session to kick off. She left the institution in 2011, spending some time studying at Oxford, but will now continue her studies back at Brown.
"My first two years at Brown weren't easy, not because I was bullied or because anyone gave me a particularly hard time, but just because, you know, without the collegiate system... and at Brown everyone does completely different things and very much chooses their own path, which is great, but it's also much more difficult, too. You're not with a group of people all the time at one time," she told T magazine over the summer about her time spent at the famed New England Ivy League.
While she didn't confirm what path she might be taking this time around, we have no doubt the brainy Hollywood heavyweight can choose anything and be successful. But, might we suggest she try her hand at fashion design? She has quite the eye for style.
Переслать - Halloween Costume How-To: Pay Tribute To 'Hunger Games' Effie Trinket
by Jessica Marshall
Want to turn heads this Halloween? Dial up the color and channel your inner Cinna, because a little Capitol Couture is sure to make a splash at this year's costume parties. And who exemplifies the loud-and-proud style as much as the inimitable District 12 escort, Effie Trinket?
Elizabeth Banks brought the color-blocking fashionista to life on screen in "The Hunger Games" earlier this year, and we still can't get enough of her style. She's the height of Capitol Couture, boldly going where no District 12 citizen would ever dare go...unless they were being forced to as a participant of the Hunger Games.
So if you're going to embody Effie this October 31, here are a few helpful hints for assembling your outfit.
Start off with a big, bold, knee-length dress. Go peacock ($24.80, Forever 21) or pink ($22.80, Forever 21)! Complement the dress with a gem-toned, crop-sleeve ruffle shrug ($19.99, Amazon.com), and you'll capture the baseline of Effie's Alexander McQueen-esque flavor for a real bargain.
Next, you'll want to add a little icing on the top—that is, retro-styled bob hair with a light pink hue. If you don't want to dish out for a wig, the same effect can be achieved with a little bit of teasing, a lot of hairspray and a dash of pink hair chalk ($14.50, Hot Topic). Regardless of how you achieve the hairstyle, you absolutely cannot forget to add in Effie's signature "flower-inspired" hair piece ($5.50, Claire's).
You may be dressed like a Capitol resident, but you wouldn't be mistaken for one unless you slap on some makeup. You probably already have most of the makeup you'll need, but if you don't, a quick trip to the drug store can fill in the blanks on the fly (and on the cheap). Start with a foundation at least two shades lighter than your skin tone (if not more), and follow with as bright a pink blush and lipstick as you can find. Then apply the most outrageously bold eyeshadow you've got, preferably in a yellow, green or blue. Don't be afraid to cake it on, and add a little glitter for good measure. Finally, if you want to really recreate Effie's makeup, grab some fake eyelashes ($9.00, Paperself).
Follow up with some bold nail polish. If you're up for it, tack on some nail jewels too. Any bold color will do, and you even can try some Capitol Colors ($18.00, China Glaze), the nail polish inspired by the film.
And finally, we know you have a pair of crazy sexy heels or booties stashed somewhere in the depths of your closet. Time to stop denying it. Add them to your costume. The blisters and sore ankles will be so worth it at the end of the night.
And that's all there is to it. Effie it up, ladies. May the odds be ever in your favor.

Переслать - Get 'Struck By Lightning' With New Trailer For Chris Colfer Film
If you were wondering whether Chris Colfer's particular brand of artistic genius could flow just as beautifully from the tips of his fingers as it does from his precious larynx, then here's your answer: Yup. The new trailer for "Struck by Lightning" hit the web today, and Chris's debut as a screenwriter is just as buoyant, sharp, and painfully funny as his breakout performance on "Glee." Maybe even buoyant-er. Really!
We grinned all the way through this second peek at the film, which Chris both wrote and starred in, and which offers up a brand of delightfully dark humor that'll make you laugh and wince in equal measures. In it, Chris plays a driven young man who will stop at nothing, not even the commission of felonies, in pursuit of his lifelong dream to become the editor of the New Yorker—and who resorts to blackmailing his classmates in order to beef up his college applications.
And with a supporting cast that includes Allison Janney, Christina Hendricks, and best of all, our favorite girlcrush Rebel Wilson, this movie looks seriously promising. Keep your eyes peeled: "Struck by Lightning" should be hitting theaters sometime in December.

Переслать - 'Carrie Diaries' World Premiere: AnnaSophia Robb Sparkles In The City
"The Carrie Diaries" doesn't officially debut on The CW until January, but the '80s-set series arrived fashionably early in Manhattan last night, with its world premiere at the New York Television Festival.
Star AnnaSophia Robb, who plays the titular diarist, was a gilded girl in a dazzling Emilio Pucci dress, which complemented her hair and skin tone oh-so nicely. She was flanked on the pink carpet by executive producer Amy B. Harris (left) and "The Carrie Diaries" author/executive producer Candace Bushnell (right).
Also in attendance? AnnaSophia's love interest on the show, Austin Butler, who plays new bad-boy-in-town Sebastian Kydd. Austin brought arm candy in the form of girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens, who looked every inch the New Yorker in all black. Another fashionista doing the premiere proud was Stefania Owens, who plays Carrie's little sister Dorrit. The 14-year-old was boho chic in a splotchy black-and-white off-the shoulder frock, topped off by an eye-catching headband. (Do we smell another Style Superstar in the making?)

Переслать - The Twi-Fight Saga: 10 Vampires You May Have Forgotten From 'Breaking Dawn'
We have 25 days—yes, only 25 days—until the final "Twilight Saga" film hits theaters.
While we're sure most of you are just thrilled to get to see Bella and Edward again in "Breaking Dawn - Part 2," you're going to get a lot more than that. A whole slew of new vampires are introduced in this movie, and there's a good chance that some of you might need a little help brushing up on your knowledge in anticipation of the release.
Well, what better time to remind you of 10 of our favorite underrated new vampires than during The Twi-Fight Saga! Voting in the competition, which will ultimately determine who the best "Twilight" character of all time is, began yesterday, but you still have a couple more days to vote before round one closes on Thursday. So before you head over to the polls, read up on some of the character's involved first. Maybe these reminders will sway your vote.
Irina
Ah, Irina, the Denali coven vampire who started it all. After mistakenly believing Renesmee was an immortal child (a child turned into a vampire, which is against Volturi law), Irina ran off to Italy to rat out Bella and Edward for their crime. She was misguided in her claim, though, and the former girlfriend of Laurent does get her comeuppance.Garrett
Garrett is an American nomadic vampire who comes to the aid of the Cullens in "Breaking Dawn - Part 2," but we feel it's more important to note that he's played by "Pushing Daisies" star Lee Pace. You shouldn't need to know more than that to give him your vote.Eleazar
Another member of the Denali coven, Eleazar is a longtime friend of the Cullens and one of their go-to-allies. He has the important job of explaining to Bella what her special vampire gift is (but we won't spoil it for you who don't already know).Benjamin
Not only is Benjamin a pretty cool dude—he's a part of the Egyptian coven and can physically influence the four major elements—but the actor who plays him, Rami Malek, is buds with Robert Pattinson. We'd be lying if we said we aren't jealous.Alistair
Yet another vampire with a special ability who's a longtime friend of Carlisle Cullen's, Alistair is not too happy to be a part of the events in "Breaking Dawn - Part 2." He's afraid of what the Volturi will do if they don't believe Bella and Edward's story about Renesmee being a half-human/half-vampire hybrid, so he peaces out before the vampire royalty arrives. We're not a big fan of him.Zafrina
Like many of the other new vampires introduced in "Breaking Dawn - Part 2," Zafrina has a special ability. She can create visual illusions, which could prove quite handy in a showdown like the one at the end of this upcoming movie. Zafrina is also one of the first to befriend Renesmee, so we give her points for that.Vladimir
Vladimir and his ally Stefan are interesting because they're both part of the Romanian vampire coven, a group of vampires who were destroyed by the Volturi over a century ago. Not only are they bitter, but they're out forbloodburned vampires, with Vladimir specifically claiming Alec as his personal opponent.Peter
Peter is yet another ally of the Cullens, but this time he was brought in as witness by Jasper instead of Carlisle. Jasper and Peter were both part of the same Civil War-era newborn army that we learned about way back when in "Eclipse," though he managed to escape before Jasper did.Maggie
Surprise, surprise: Irish coven member Maggie also has a special ability. In her case, it's the ability to act as a vampire lie detector, which actually ends up being really cool.Nahuel
To keep spoilers to a minimum, we'll just say that Nahuel is "Breaking Dawn - Part 2's" game-changer. If you can't remember who he is, well, you're in for one big surprise.Head on over to twilight.mtv.com to cast your vote now!

Переслать - Shay Mitchell Counts Down To 'Pretty Little Liars' Halloween Special
We're not the only ones excited about the upcoming Halloween episode of "Pretty Little Liars"! Star Shay Mitchell took to Twitter today to not only encourage everyone to tune in, but also shared an image that willl likely give us all the nightmares for at least a week. (But, I guess we should expect nothing less from this ABC Family series...)
One more day!!! #PLLHalloween episode! instagr.am/p/RFqn14Qr6N/
— Shay Mitchell (@shaymitch) October 22, 2012
The episode, titled "This Is A Dark Ride," follows the four girls as they attend a Halloween party on a train. But this being Rosewood, the journey is anything but smooth. In fact, when we talked to executive producer Marlene King in anticipation of the episode, she promised it would be "more thrilling and scary" than last year's. If that's even possible...
"Pretty Little Liars" airs tomorrow at 8/7c.

Переслать - Get 'Fun Size' In EXCLUSIVE Set Visit With Victoria Justice
Halloween comes early this year—October 26, to be exact—when Victoria Justice's feature film debut, "Fun Size," will haunt theaters. The flick centers around Victoria's character, Wren, who's forced to babysit her brother on the spookiest night of the year instead of going to the big monster mash. But things get even scarier when her brother wanders off, running rampant through town and alluding Wren every step of the way.
MTV News caught up with Victoria on the Cleveland, Ohio, set last year, where she gave us a preview of what to expect from the comedy. "There's such a great cast in this film—from Johnny Knoxville to Chelsea Handler—everyone is so talented. And ['Gossip Girl' creator] Josh Schwartz is directing it and is great, and it's a great cast, a great crew," she said. "There's going to be lots of action, a lot of romance, comedy for sure and a lot of surprises."
Sounds more like Jumbo Size hilarity to us! Click play on the clip above to go even further behind-the-scenes of "Fun Size," which includes some smooth dance moves from little star Jackson Nicoll.

Переслать - Halloween Costume How-To: Slay Demons As A 'Mortal Instruments' Shadowhunter
You know what's truly scary? Waking up October 31 without a Halloween costume and—gasp!— having to settle for a five-sizes-too-large sexy hedgehog outfit from Spooky Central. Which is why we're getting an early start at Hollywood Crush prepping the perfect pop-culture costumes.
"The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones" film may not hit theaters until August 2013, but why wait until next year—when everyone else will be dressing as a demon-destroying Shadowhunter—to break out your black? Be a trendsetter! Here's how you can slay as the fierce Nephilim from Cassandra Clare's best-selling novels.
"Looking Better in Black" isn't just a slogan for the Shadowhunters—they wear the midnight hue with aplomb while fighting the world's foes. Even better? All of these black basics can be purchased at Forever 21 (and for relatively little green!). Start off with a pair of Pintucked Moto Jeggings (complete with awesome ribbing detail) for only $19.80, then top with a flesh-flashing basic tank (revealing plenty of surface area to display your runes). Add a pair of Isabelle-approved booties (we like this pair of lace-ups) or, if you prefer comfort over couture, combat boots sans heel will also do the trick. Finish with a slick jacket (like this Faux Leather Peplum one for $34.80).
A Shadowhunter is nothing without her runes though! Buy a kohl eye pencil or black lipstick to draw the protective markings on your arms and other visible areas of skin. Cassie's website has a full array of designs for you to crib, or you can always make up your own.
The final touch is your stele—that magical tool used to draw Shadowhunter runes. For an easy, homemade solution, grab a twig off the ground or bunch together a couple of pipe cleaners and wrap in aluminum foil. And—voila!—you're ready for any

Переслать - James Franco Getting Cozy With Pretty Little Liar Ashley Benson?
Despite being relatively expert predictors of which on-screen collaborations will result in real-life romantic entanglements (we called Rachel McAdams and Ryan Gosling like a boss, y'all), this one caught us by surprise: According to the gossip hounds at Page Six, "Spring Breakers" co-stars Ashley Benson and James Franco are an item.
The pair were seen holding hands at the Los Angeles Haunted Hayride last week, and an unnamed friend of one or the other celeb confirmed that they are, indeed, dating. It's an interesting matchup—he's 12 years older and a lot more eccentric than the "Pretty Little Liars" star—and somehow, we never saw it coming! Are we losing our touch?!
...Okay, probably not: the first suspiciously schmoopy sighting of the two was only in September, and Ashley was still going strong with producer Ryan Good as recently as two months ago. But to make up for having completely failed to predict this on-set relationship turned off-screen coupling, we will be watching extra hard for signs that the two are getting serious. Watching like hawks! Who, among all the large-sized North American birds of prey, are the best at keeping track of Hollywood gossip.
What do you think of this match...or mismatch?
Переслать - Robert Pattinson Is Soulful In Sydney
Robert Pattinson was in Sydney, Australia, this weekend to promote "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2," posing pretty in the harbor before the big red-carpet to-do. And if you were wondering whether Rob might have lost his ability to make the Edward Cullen Emo Sadface in the long months since filming wrapped on the last chapter of "The Twilight Saga," you will be delighted to see that his tortured pout makes a very distinctive appearance in this gallery of shots from Down Under.
The actor looked downright tortured as he perched on a mooring by the water—hand thrust into his hair, brows knit together, gazing soulfully into the distance. But the sad face was fleeting; Rob's grin was front-and-center by the time he hit the carpet, where he was typically charming and gracious whilst interacting with fans.
