  • Taylor Swift Sparkles On The Cover Of Glamour (PHOTOS)

Taylor Swift is a sparkle goddess on the cover of Glamour.

It's been a great few weeks for Taylor Swift, what with earning five MTV EMA nods and appearing on the cover of Glamour Magazine's November issue (in yet another sparkly dress). But who are we kidding -- that's just any 'ole week for Taylor considering in recent days she's also released her new smash "Begin Again"totally killed it onstage at the 2012 MTV VMAs, and will soon release her brand-new album Red on Oct. 22. We could go on, but we've only got so much room per blog post!

Check out more photos from Taylor Swift's Glamour shoot after the jump.

Inside Glamour's November issue, Taylor not only looks like like chicest traveler we've ever seen, but she opens up about her career, friendships, and the drama surrounding her song "Dear John." When asked if "Dear John" was in fact about John Mayer, Taylor explains: "How presumptuous! I never disclose who my songs are about." We love you Tay, but the jig is up! Writing about your exes is your thing and you know it. On her close pals, Taylor divulges: "I've developed this really close-knit group of girls. Two of my close friends are bandmates. My other close friends are Ashley, Claire, Diana, Emma, and Selena." And in case you weren't convinced that Taylor's life was special enough, "Emma" is actually Emma Stone and "Selena" is actually Selena Gomez. Just some normal old pals from her school days, you know. Except not at ALL.

  • Cher Lloyd, Muse + Miguel Release Albums; Muse Performs On 'Saturday Night Live'

Welcome to Buzzworthy's "The Week In Pop," where we round up new album releases, talk show musical guests, and TV performances by your favorite pop stars and more (so you don't have to).

The week begins and ends with Muse, who drop their sixth studio album and perform on "Saturday Night Live." Meanwhile, MTV PUSH artist Cher Lloyd makes her Stateside debut and also hits "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" today, "Tonight Show With Jay Leno" this evening, and "Live With Kelly and Michael" on Thursday. Miguel mines pop, funk, rock and more on his sophomore R&B effort; check him out on VH1's "Big Morning Buzz Live" on Wednesday. Additionally, Matt & Kim go all DIY for their new effort (catch them tonight on "Late Night With Jimmy Fallon"), plus Cody Simpson, Flying Lotus, The Hood Internet, and Chris Rene release new material as well.

    NEW ALBUM RELEASES

+ Cher LloydSticks + Stones: She wowed on U.K.'s "The X Factor" with her original electro, hip-hop, and pop genre blend. Now the 19-year-old songstress brings her debut album Stateside. Watch a video for "Want U Back," which she told MTV News is a bit ironic: "I'm the kind of girl that would be like, 'I don't want you back. I dumped you for a reason.'" "Grow Up" features Busta Rhymes, and also check out "Beautiful People." The U.S. debut also includes a previously unreleased track, "Behind The Music."

+ MuseThe 2nd Law: Though their first single hints at dubstep (the group said they wrote "Unsustainable" after seeing Skrillex) and "Madness" tips to EDM as well with its bass wobble rhythms, much of the album still champions Muse's trademark soaring, dramatic guitar rock. The album also deals in apocalyptic themes rooted in current events (like the economic and energy crises) and includes "Survival," the theme song for the London 2012 Olympic Games.

+ MiguelKaleidoscope Dream: For the R&B crooner's awesome sophomore album, rich textures with guitars and layers of electronic atmospherics are woven into several genres to pleasing results. At its center is his soulful singing and lyrics, which zero in on matters of the heart. On "Don't Look Back" Miguel nods to a Zombies' hook while "Where's The Fun is Forever" features Alicia Keys. Also check out the title track, "Use Me" and the blush-inducing, humorous "P---- Is Mine."

Check out more new album releases, upcoming TV appearances, and performances after the jump.

+ Cody SimpsonParadise: The Aussie troubadour has been a busy boy, from touring with Big Time Rush and Justin Bieber, to releasing the interactive movie Finding Cody and co-hosting MTV's "10 On Top." For his debut album, Cody gives us a peek into what tour life is like with his "Wish U Were Here" video. Also, check out the happy, vacation-ready title track.

Matt & KimLightning: The indie-pop duo and couple IRL wrote, recorded, and self-produced their latest effort in their Brooklyn apartment. Listen to their infectious, dancey, and handclapped "Let's Go." Also, check out their punchy "Now" lyric video (which comes complete with a warning that it may induce seizures). They are also offering a free download of the track.

+ Flying LotusUntil The Quiet Comes: A tapestry of twinkly, skittery rhythms and beats with an experimental funk jazz vibe flavor, the noted electronic music producer and remixer Steven Ellison (aka Flying Lotus) released his fourth full length album. "See Thru To U" features Erykah Badu and "Electric Candyman" features Radiohead's Thom Yorke. Check out the Until The Quiet Comes album trailer.

+ The Hood InternetFeat: Our friends STV SLV and ABX create excellent mash-ups of hip-hop and rock collages and drop their free creations on their website. Now, the taco-loving duo release their first all-original, sample-free full length album, Feat. 20+ guests populate Feat, including Cadence Weapon ("Critical Captions"), The New Pornographers' A.C. Newman ("One For the Record Books"), Psalm One ("More Fun") and The Rosebuds and Astronautalis ("Our Finest China").

Chris ReneI'm Right Here EP: "You can expect like to hear music that actually is alive and has a soul and is gonna speak to a lot of people," the rapper/singer told MTV Buzzworthy of his major label debut EP. The third place finalist from Season One of the U.S. "The X Factor" includes his hit made popular on the show,"Young Homie," in the eight-song set.

  • Selena Gomez Attends The Global Citizen Festival, Plus Performances By The Black Keys, Foo Fighters, And Neil Young (PHOTO)

Selena Gomez attended Saturday's Global Citizen Fest along with Neil Young, Foo Fighters, and others!

You probably already knew that Selena Gomez was a very, very special person (The Biebs wouldn't settle for anything less than perfect), but in case you'd forgotten just how special, then we'll remind you! Along with other celebs and activists like Katie Couric and Katharine McPhee, Selena Gomez, a UNICEF Ambassador, attended and spoke at the Global Citizen Festival, a five-hour concert on Central Park's Great Lawn devoted to ending extreme poverty around the world.

Neil Young & Crazy Horse headlined the show, which also featured performances by Foo Fighters, The Black Keys, Band Of Horses and Somali rapper K'Naan. (File this one under: times we wished we had a Central Park-view apartment!!) Singer-songwriter John Legend also made a surprise appearance to sing "Imagine" and joined the rest of the performers as they gathered around Neil & Crazy Horse to close the show with a rousing rendition of Neil's smash 1989 hit "Rockin' In The Free World." Awww...we LOVE it when celebrities join forces to do good. (Plus any excuse to party it up in Central Park...yeah!) Way to do it up right, guys!

  • Star Spotting: Christina Aguilera Kept Her 'Your Body' Hair Look And We Think It Was The Best Decision Ever (PHOTO)

Christina Aguilera isn't ready to ditch her "Your Body" hair just yet.

Christina Aguilera werqued some multi-colored hair in her murderous "Your Body" video, and guess what? SHE'S STILL GOT IT! As you might have heard (or deduced from this stunning GIF wall), Xtina played a beauty-obsessed killer in her "Your Body" video, which means that in between killing off her hot model conquests and chatting up her favorite psychic, she managed to make it to the hair salon to get some rainbow-colored locks. #Priorities.

Just because Christina's ditched her desire to whack her boyfriends doesn't mean that she has to ditch her colorful new hair, right? RIGHT. In fact, after an appearance on "The Tonight Show With Jay Leno," Christina (and beau Matt Rutler) hit up trendy L.A. eatery Spago, and rather than going back to her signature blonde locks, Christina sported hair that looked precisely like this ring pop! Maybe rocking a multi-colored "do" is all the rage amongst music-based reality TV show judges? (Yes, we're looking at you, Demi Lovato.) Or, maybe Christina's trying to give every single one of Lady Gaga's hair moments a run for their money? Whatever it is, we dig! Maybe just apply a deep conditioning hair mask like once a month to make sure your hair doesn't get too damaged. Just sayin'.

  • Buzz Bites (10/1/12): Rick Ross/Maybach Music Group Beef With Young Jeezy And G-Unit At BET Hip-Hop Awards Taping

Rick Ross and others were reportedly in a scuffle during Saturday's BET Hip-Hop Awards taping.

+ Fights reportedly broke out at the BET Hip-Hop Awards taping in Atlanta on Saturday. Apparently Rick Ross and Young Jeezy scuffled backstage, and later outside, shots were fired. Another fight reportedly broke out between MMG's Gunplay and 50-Cent's G-Unit members. The show airs Oct. 9. (MTV News)

+ Saturday's full harvest moon must've been stirring stuff up. Jack White cut his set short at NYC's Radio City Music Hall, which angered several fans who reportedly gathered by the backstage exit and banged on parked cars. (Rolling Stone)

+ Justin Bieber had a bit of a rough go on Saturday too at his opening tour date in Glendale, AZ. The singer vomited onstage during "Out of Town Girl." "Getting better for tomorrow's show!!!," he tweeted afterwards. "And .... Milk was a bad choice. Lol." (Just Jared)

+ Fortunately a few good things occurred on Saturday, like Kings of Leon's Jared Followill and Martha Patterson's wedding! The couple married in Charlotte, TN. (E!)

+ It looks like Jay-Z's Barclays Center christening was a major success. Check out the MTV News review of the first of his two sold-out stints in the new space. "Tonight is a celebration, a celebration of where I'm from," Hova said before launching into "Where I'm From." (MTV News)

+ We just got Cruel Summer and we may be getting a Cruel Winter. Q-Tip hinted there could be another G.O.O.D. Music compilation in the works. "If there's a Cruel Summer then there's got to be a Cruel Winter, right?" he said. (MTV News)

+ There are birthday gifts and there are birthday gifts. Nicki Minaj gave Lil Wayne a $70,000 T-Rex cycle-car for his 30th birthday. Watch the video from the exchange. (Rap-Up)

  • PUSH Artist Of The Week: Cris Cab

Cris Cab knows how to ride a groove.

The calendar says it's fall, but Miami-based musician Cris Cab seems intent on making summer last a little longer. With a voice like Sting and upbeat, beachy grooves influenced by Marvin Gaye and Bob Marley, (those childhood summers spent in the Bahamas didn't hurt either), Cris is ready to make it rain soul-n-B with songs such as "Face to Face" and "Echo Boom."

Some serious stars have also joined the Cris Cab movement: Big Sean dropped by on Chris' laid-back "Good Girls (Don't Grow on Trees)," a track produced by Wyclef Jean and written by Pharrell Williams, because why work with one all-star when you could get with three? And Cris even teamed up with Wyclef to perform at New York Fashion Week earlier this month.

Find out more about Cris Cab after the jump!

Cris isn't just hanging out with the pop kids either -- he recently performed in an an indie-centric lineup including Tanlines, Action Bronson, and Spaceghostpurrp at Mad Decent's Chicago Block Party in August. Not bad for a 19-year-old who hasn't even released his debut yet -- but Cris has got a career coach in Pharrell, who told him to practice, practice, practice -- advice that paid off once Cris began releasing videos, starting with a YouTube cover of Wiz Khalifa's "Black and Yellow." Cris has now scored nearly 8 million views on YouTube, almost as many as Justin Bieber -- juuuust 400 million or so to go. He'll get there. Cris Cab's debut EP, Rise, soars onto iTunes on Oct. 9.

  • Star Spotting: Rihanna Hits The Club Looking FLAWLESS In Her Pajamas (PHOTO)

Rihanna heads to Jay-Z's 40/40 Club in the Barclays Center rocking her pajamas because she can.

Rihanna is the queen of "IDGAF" style. She can rock ANYTHING SHE WANTS and still look like a bombshell beauty. Need reminders? Gigantic goddess tattoo? Check. Gold grill? Check. Hand-rolled sweatshirts? Check. So it's only natural that RiRi would go out in New York wearing some chic pajamas. Also, WHY CAN'T WE LOOK THAT FLAWLESS IN OUR JAMMIES!?

The "Diamonds" singer was snapped looking bed-ready GORG heading to Jay-Z's grand opening of his 40/40 Club in Brooklyn. And while we'd basically spend an eternity flipping out in our closet trying to find the perfect ensemble we'd want a boss like Jay-Z to see us wearing, Rihanna went with the latest trend (and her apparent favorite): wearing your pajamas in public. Sleep chic is SO in, guys!

We actually think Rihanna's onto something. How many times have you stayed out waaay past your bedtime to only wake up the next morning wearing the same clothes you went out in (no judgment). Girl's just skipping a step! RiRi can't help but innovate, guys.

  • 2 Reasons To See 'Hotel Transylvania': Selena Gomez And Becky G

Becky G's taken over the "Hotel Transylvania" soundtrack with her "Problem (The Monster Remix)."

As if you needed another reason to see "Hotel Transylvania" (hello CARTOONS), we've got two: Selena Gomez and Becky G! Selena voices the lead character in the animated film, and Becky G just released "Problem (The Monster Remix)" feat. will.i.am, which appears on the film's soundtrack. And, bonus round! Not only does "Hotel Transylvania" come out today, but we've also got Becky G's "Problem (The Monster Remix) video ready for you to watch RIGHT THIS VERY SECOND.

Watch Becky G's "Problem (The Monster Remix)" video featuring will.i.am after the jump.

If you don't know much about the 15-year-old Becky G -- and seriously, she is a G -- singing prodigy, then we'll remind you that she costarred in Cody Simpson's "Wish You Were Here" video and plans to share the stage with him and, ahem, Justin Bieber and Carly Rae Jepsen, in October at the Staples Center. (Oddly, she kinda looks like she could be Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez's sister if the three were related, which would be SO MAJOR!) Also, if you're wondering where this li'l powerhouse came from, you can send your thanks to the state of California (Becky was and raised in the Inglewood section of Los Angeles) as well as veteran hitmaker Dr. Luke, who signed the spunky rapper to his Kemosabe label last year.

As you might expect (because why would you ever not put cartoons in stuff if given the option?) the "Problem (The Monster Remix)" video features actual footage from "Hotel Transylvania" interlaced with shots of Becky and will.i.am chilling in an abandoned mansion (obvs.) We know this is a bold statement, but "Problem (The Monster Remix)" could easily go up against a Nicki Minaj track. Seriously, L'il G's about to take over the lady rap game.

  • New Video: Aubrey O'Day, 'Wrecking Ball'

Aubrey O'Day surveys the "damage" (get it?) in her new "Wrecking Ball" video.

Never one to let the faithful Aubtorage down, former "Making The Band" pop princess Aubrey O'Day has at long last premiered the video for her Pia Toscano-penned power ballad, "Wrecking Ball," which first debuted back in April.

Taking a breather from the sweat-heavy choreo from the blessed days of Danity Kane (RIP forever and ever and ever), Aubsies spends the bulk of her newest video serving up some glam rock in front of a full band -- lovin' that "I Love Rock 'N' Roll" realness, Aub! -- and canoodling on a beach with a well-built mystery man. Basically, if Britney's "Don't Let Me Be The Last To Know" and Pussycat Dolls' "I Hate This Part" had a baby, it would be born with very blonde extensions and looking exactly like this video.

Watch Aubrey O'Day's "Wrecking Ball" video after the jump.

But all's not what it seems: Despite all the face-sucking and smoldering pre-sex glances happening between the two, there's something amiss in the air. Cue pensive stares into the distance and some rather tense bickering. Ouch... someone's feeling salty!

But as always, Aubrey rises above. And by the end, the "Celebrity Apprentice" grad is putting her emancipated body on "Automatic" once again and striding triumphantly across the sand. Why? Because it's a brand-new O'Day, of course!
