- Star Spotting: Louis Tomlinson Totally Missed His Calling As A Male Model (PHOTO)
One Direction's Louis Tomlinson gives his best GQ-worthy pose while meeting fans in London.
We're just putting it out there that we think One Direction's Louis Tomlinson could've had a VERY lucrative career in the modeling industry. The guy NEVER takes a bad photo! (But let's be honest: Not one bro in 1D has ever taken a bad photo. Remember THIS?) Instead, Louis will just have to settle for being a member of one of the world's most famous boy bands with a slew of record-breaking sales, awards, serious bank, and basically owning the entire world. Oh well, c'est la vie!
The "Live Like We're Young" singer was recently snapped giving his best "hands in pockets looking casual, yet brooding at the same time" pose while greeting fans after an appearance on London's "Daybreak." And while we're officially DYING to hear new music from the boys' Take Me Home album (that drops Nov. 13!) ever since the band released the official track list, at the moment we're feeling pretty fixated on discovering the secret to Louis' flawless model-esque skin. We're willing to guess that it's either some unicorn-like serum that only boy band members have access to OR that the band members really are perfect and magical mannequins. Don't worry, we're just gonna keep staring longingly at this photo until we get some solid answers.

Переслать - New Song: Calvin Harris Featuring Ellie Goulding, 'I Need Your Love'
Calvin Harris and Ellie Goulding team up for the infectious dance anthem "I Need Your Love."
Calvin Harris has already proven he's a valuable collab partner to any female pop star (please see: Rihanna's "We Found Love"), and now he's teaming up with UK songstress Ellie Goulding on the new track "I Need Your Love." (Hmmm...what a strikingly similar title to Rihanna's jam. Just saying!) And as luck would have it (ie a brilliant move by the record labels), Goulding and Harris each have brand-new albums coming out this month -- Ellie's Halcyon will be released in the U.S. on Oct. 9, and Calvin's 18 Months drops on Oct. 29. Needless to say, "I Need Your Love" is the ideal jam to get us appropriately revved about both upcoming releases.
Listen to Calvin Harris' "I Need Your Love," featuring Ellie Goulding after the jump.
As one might expect from a Calvin Harris tune, "I Need Your Love" is set to an infectious, futuristic, synth-laden track that'll sound great both up in da club as well as with Ellie Goulding's slightly more indie fanbase. Ellie's ethereal vocals are layered, making them sound loud enough to rise above Calvin's track and deliver the song's universally significant lyrics (because everyone's got a crush, right?): "I need your love, I need your time/ When everything's wrong, you make it right/ I feel so high, I come alive/ I need to be free with you tonight." Not quite "We Found Love," but we're 100 percent down with it anyway. You know we need some indie tracks to even out all the Rihanna. Balance, guys!

Переслать - Christina Aguilera's 'Lotus' Album Cover Is Exactly What We Expected: STUNNING (PHOTO)
Christina Aguilera unveils her new "Lotus" album cover. We're not worthy!
We love Christina Aguilera for keeping us in the loop on everything Lotus-related. She built us up with all those photos and teasers for her "Your Body" video, and now she's released the ultimate treat: THE ACTUAL COVER TO HER LOTUS ALBUM. It just "Keeps Gettin' Better," guys!
The "X Factor" judge tweeted the official album cover along with the caption, "#LOTUS album cover. Here it is! Album out Nov 13. XoXtina." We're SO happy Xtina stayed with her pastel pink/glowing "bow-down-to-me-because-I'm-the-queen" look from her "Your Body" single cover, but we're losing it over the rest of all this new gorgeousness! Girl pretty much packed everything beautiful in the world into just one pic: a sunrise, a blooming flower, and the most impeccably conditioned hair we've ever seen.
Based on this album cover's perfection, we think it's pretty much a done deal that every song within will be set to the tune of PURE EPICNESS. (We're not exactly sure what "epicness" sounds like either, but go with it -- it's effing Christina Aguilera.)

Переслать - The Wanted Get Mobbed By Fans, Now They Know How Justin Bieber Felt That Time (PHOTO)
The Wanted get mobbed by fans. Um, why didn't anyone invite us to this up-close-and-personal moment?!
It's got to be tough being a hunky superstar and having like, a bazillion admirers. Justin Bieber knows what we're talking about (he even has to dodge unsolicited kisses!). And now The Wanted got a taste of mob mayhem while being bombarded by fans! While most of the guys looked totally fine being felt up by random strangers in a VERY tight place, we're LOL-ing at Nathan Sykes' fearful expression that totally screams, "SAVE ME!" (Um, not sure what kind of fan reaction these guys expected after they took their pants off and went shirtless.)
The "I Found You" singers recently shared a photo on Facebook of themselves being mobbed by fans... Wait, you say you can't find each of the Brits in the photo? That's part of the fun, guys! It's like playing "Where's Waldo" with boy bands (which we'd prefer so much over the original BTW. Waldo's SO not our type). But we do have further observations to make like, where are the guys' bodyguards?! Does some sort of room exist where they dump the cute Brits for a fan feeding frenzy!? Most importantly, HOW CAN WE GET OURSELVES IN TO THIS ROOM!?

Переслать - New Video: The Royalty, 'I Want You'
The Royalty's Nicole Boudreau is stunning in a cool cutout dress in the new video for "I Want You."
We've heard a plenty girl-fronted indie rock groups in our day, but we've stopped dead in our tracks over The Royalty. The El Paso, Texas-based band is a fascinating find for a number of reasons, a big one being that they're probably the least punky of all of the bands on their label, Victory Records (way to take a chance on something a little different, guys!), and are best known for their subtle combination of vintage dream pop (say, Dusty Springfield meets Debbie Harry) and early aughts back-to-basics rock (see: The Strokes).
Having released their second studio album, Lovers, in May of this year, The Royalty have just unveiled the video for their new track "I Want You," and now that we've seen it, we can decidedly say that we WANT THEM TOO.
Watch The Royalty's "I Want You" video after the jump.
Playing with eye-catching multicolored lighting and D.I.Y. camera techniques, "I Want You" throws lead singer Nicole Boudreau in front of a number of background sequences, including (but not limited to) "American Bandstand"-type scenes of dancing baby boomers, black-and-white filmed trips to the beach, and even her own band (as though they themselves were the "Bandstand" performers). Pictured in a sex-ay short, tight, black cutout dress, Nicole shakes and shimmies to the beat singing, "Die tomorrow die today/ Either way we could say/ Nothing could go wrong when you are with me/ In the sky or on the ground/ as long as I have you around." Oh god, we love a good throwback video. Especially one that's created so unpretentiously! Well done, guys -- we cannot WAIT to see what you'll produce next. But till then, Nicole, can you teach us how to look that unassuming in a cutout dress? 'Cause it's working!

Переслать - Watch The Lyric Video For Christina Perri's 'Something About December' (VIDEO)
Christina Perri brings Christmas 'round early with her holiday-themed song "Something About December."
It's hard to believe we're already thinking about Christmas songs when the high today is oh, 78 degrees. But we'll do just about anything for Christina Perri, and that includes thinking about snow and Xmas lights on a borderline sweaty day. Which brings us to our next question: WHERE IS FALL? But we suppose that's a question for another time. ::Cough::Global Warming::Cough::
Watch Christina Perri's "Something About December" lyric video after the jump.
Cowritten by Christina and her brother Nick (cute!), "Something About December" is not your typical Christmas song, which is precisely why we like it so much. There's no mention of jingle bells or sounds of Rudolph's hoofs trekking through the snow -- rather, the song is a lilting piano-driven ballad (P.S. does anyone else think Christina sounds a lot like Karen Carpenter?!) that speaks not about snowmen and stockings (though there is a mention of mistletoe and a tree), but mostly about December's nostalgic feelings. "Lights around the tree/ Mama's whistling/ Take me back again/ There's something about December," Christina croons. In her own words, the "Distance" singer explains that the song "is about finding Christmas wherever you are in the world, because it lives in your heart." Look for Perri's forthcoming EP, A Very Merry Perri Christmas, when it drops Oct. 16. Now if only it would start to feel more Oct. 16 outside and not say, sweltering August.

Переслать - New Video: Miguel, 'The Thrill'
Miguel parties hard in his new "The Thrill" video.
Judging by his video for "The Thrill," the only thing Miguel likes to do as much as create dope albums (see: Kaleidoscope Dream) is party. But that's cool -- we don't blame him one bit. You know we'd be doing the same thing if we could! And if you'll remember, we recently showed you Miguel's "Do You" video, which had him at a different kind of party (heh, a make-out party) with IRL ladyfriend Nazanin Mandi. Now in "The Thrill," Miguel and Nazanin are shown attending a (slightly) more typical rager.
Watch Miguel's "Do You" video after the jump.
Even though it's hard to believe that actual humans can party that hard, "The Thrill" actually consists of real footage from Nazanin's birthday soiree. In his own words, the"Adorn" singer explains, "I wanted to capture that unmistakable, unavoidable, unapologetic energy behind epic nights. This video is a wild montage of my favorite moments within a single day of celebration. Real memories created amongst real friends and real family." All that happened in a single day? I'd be fully tapped out within the hour and back up in my bed watching Ina Garten on The Food Network. Then again, that's probably why I'm not Miguel, ya know?

Adele's "Skyfall" is perfect. Nothing more to say here.
Remember when we were only allowed to hear 90 seconds of Adele's James Bond theme song "Skyfall," and you were like, "how could they do this to us?!!" Yeah, those were some tough times. But things are looking up -- the song's finally been released in full! Cowritten by Adele's "Rolling in the Deep" cohort, Paul Epworth, the full version of "Skyfall" is basically, well, a longer version of the 90-second-snippet. (Yeah, yeah.) But thank god for that, because we were practically dying over here!
Listen to Adele's "Skyfall" after the jump.
Thanks to a giant 77-piece orchestra, the full version of "Skyfall" is even more dramatic and lush than we could have ever hoped or imagined. Adele's vocals are subtle, yet laser sharp enough to deliver the foreboding lyrics: "Let this sky fall/ When it crumbles/ We will stand tall/ And face it all together." After the clip was released, Adele made a statement via the James Bond Facebook page (props to that, BTW): "I was a little hesitant at first to be involved with the theme song for Skyfall. There's a lot of instant spotlight and pressure when it comes to a Bond song." Yah gurl, no worries! You smashed this, and then some. Now all we need you to do is pop out that mini-Adele and start writing a brand-new album! See? So easy. (Please?)

Переслать - Video Premiere: Walk The Moon, 'Tightrope'
Watch Walk The Moon's jubilant new video for "Tightrope."
We think it's safe to say that Cincinnati-based indie-pop outfit Walk The Moon have solidified their place as the happy-hook masters (see the rager-ready, sun-soaked video for "Anna Sun"). In fact, just this summer the boys beat out The Wanted, Wiz Khalifa, Rihanna, AND Rita Ora in our "Song Of The Summer" contest. I mean, it had to be said! That ish ain't easy. And in just the last few months, the boys have released their self-titled debut via RCA Records and played MTV's famed Unplugged stage. I guess at this point we can't help but be obsessed. Now the Posted AND Push players' new video for their song "Tightrope" is out -- and guys, we thought we knew these boys well after "Anna Sun," but clearly we haven't seen anything yet. (Though we are seeing more face paint...)
Watch Walk The Moon's "Tightrope" video after the jump.
Miming the movable walls motif of, say, Taylor Swift's "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together," "Tightrope" appears to delve into the imagination of lead singer Nicholas Petricca, which is basically a chaotic, D.I.Y. stage set of face-painted humans pretending to be animals. Arriving on stage with the rest of the band, Nicholas & Co. sing-stare into the camera, each with a flash of their own face paint (we really wanna know -- what is it with the face paint?) as their imagined humans/animals join in here and there -- sometimes in the form of red-painted spirit fingers. As the track explodes into the "woah-oh-oh-oh" chorus, "Tightrope" veers into sped-up Grizzly Bear "Two Weeks" territory as the boys contort their faces into spastic expressions at the camera, but where Grizzly Bear's video was somber at best, Walk The Moon's is downright determined to be pure, unadulterated sunshine. And we are NOT complaining -- we'll take any excuse to dance our way from summer to fall.

Переслать - Star Spotting: Taylor Swift Has Mastered The Art Of Self-Photo Taking (PHOTO)
It's just Taylor Swift, nailing every self portrait she attempts. NBD.
There are many things in life that are considered insanely difficult: winning "The X Factor," climbing Mount Everest, trying to ween yourself off of refined carbs, etc. However, there actually might be nothing more taxing than actually taking a decent photo of yourself... by yourself! If you guys are confused by what we're saying, let's try a little experiment. Pick up your iPhone, extend your arm all the way out from your body, and try to snap a photo where you don't look like you have 12 chins. We'll wait... couldn't do it? Don't worry, we understand.
See more photos of Taylor Swift taking photos after the jump!
But, if there's one person who can master this impossible skill, it's Taylor Swift. Wanna know why? Because her life is already so on point (please see HERE and HERE and HERE and HERE and HERE, and most importantly HERE for proof) that she's not about to let a pesky skill like the self-portrait ruin her perfection streak! Yesterday afternoon, Taylor was snapped in London hanging out with fans, and nailing every single self-taken photo she attempted. Then again, the girl is 5 feet 11 inches tall and has extra-long arms, which might pose an unfair advantage? Nahhh, she's just good at everything because she's Taylor Swift.
