What is Twitter for if not to share adorbs photos of your feisty four-legged friends? "Rock of Ages" starlet Julianne Hough did just that today, Tweeting a pic of her pooches in totally stylin' shades. (I mean, those white frames set off their coats so nicely!)

In between canine style sessions, the actress is keeping busy on the set of her upcoming Nicholas Sparks adaptation, "Safe Haven." She stars alongside Josh Duhamel as a young woman who arrives in a small North Carolina town and stirs suspicion about her past. The actress has been spotted sporting a brunette wig for the role, proving she looks good in basically everything.
We'd hate her if we didn't love her so much. Sigh.

Fox is keeping it in the family with the newest (potential) addition to its primetime line-up. TVLine reports that "American Idol" alumna Jessica Sanchez, who finished in second place during the competition series' 11th season, is in talks to join the cast of "Glee."
The specifics of her role are not known, but the report indicates that Jessica would enroll at McKinley High (or perhaps the New York Academy for the Dramatic Arts) mid-way through season four.
...A season that will be unlike any before it. Fox execs revealed last month that the dramedy will take on a show-within-a-show format, splitting time between Lima, Ohio, and New York City. And despite speculation that some stars (we're looking at you, Amber Riley) wouldn't be returning, series creator Ryan Murphy told Vulture the entire gang will be back.
"It doesn't mean everyone will be doing 22 episodes, but everyone wants to stay in our family and our world," he said. "I wanted to make sure those actors know that if they want to have a home, they have a home. If they want to explore new and different things while also having a home, that is also an option."
If Jessica does indeed sign on, she won't be the only addition to the musical series: Sarah Jessica Parker and Kate Hudson are slated for guest roles during the upcoming season.
"Glee" returns to televisions September 13.

Jemima Kirke, who plays bohemian goddess Jessa on the HBO series "Girls," is expecting her second bundle of joy, according to People! She and her husband, Michael Mosberg, are already the proud parents to a 20-month-old daughter, Rafaella Israel.
Jemima is currently filming the second season of the Lena Dunham-created show.
The actress confirmed the news to the New York Daily News on Wednesday at a screening of Woody Allen's new film, "To Rome With Love." She even joked with the reporter that she might have to use a plant to cover an expanding baby bump as she works on the series.
The lifestyle of Jemima's free-spirited character, Jessa, is a far cry from her own, as a wife and mother, she recently told The Wall Street Journal. "My responsibilities are of an older person because I have the baby and the marriage and those things. So sometimes my problems can be heightened by the things I have to lose. In a way I kind of miss that a little bit, so I have the luxury of being able to be that girl again for an allotted time. I get to drop the whole mom/wife thing and be this confused girl. I get to act that out and I get into it and then I think, 'Thank God I'm not there right now!'"

Mindy Kaling is going into the fall TV season already a winner. The funny lady just took home the accolade of Most Exciting New Series at the 2nd Annual Critics' Choice Television Awards for her much-anticipated Fox comedy, "The Mindy Project."
The show follows Mindy (played by, well, Mindy), a doctor whose dizzy demeanor sometimes gets in the way of her life. And while that seems like it'll likely lead to a lot of silly antics, what we can't wait to see is how the role will differ from her equally dizzy "Office" character Kelly Kapoor.
"I was wondering in the beginning the same thing," she told MTV News. "Like, how is she different [than Kelly], but it became clearer when I watched it. I mean Mindy, she's a doctor. She's hyper-organized in terms of her job and she really cares about patients. She's kind of more grown up. Kelly, even though I think Kelly was the same age, always seemed like a mean 16-year-old girl. She was kind of like a mean girl and had a very high-school mentality about her. And so this character is more grown-up. I mean, this character's immature, but in kind of different ways."
While the series won't make its premiere until September, Mindy admitted that she's not sure she can wait that long for people to see it. "I'm so nervous, but I think, like, I'm more excited than nervous and because I've been with it for such a long time. I'm like, 'Oh man, I have to wait 'til the fall to show people this show!' I'm so impatient about it."
"The Mindy Project" premieres September 25, airing every Tuesday on Fox. By the way, it's being paired with "New Girl." Tuesdays just might become our favorite night of the week.

Oh, who will play Ana and Christian in the highly anticipated "Fifty Shades of Grey" film currently in the works? Sure, some people are far too willing to disrobe and get it on in the film based on E.L. James' novel about the kinky romance between a naïve young woman and her hottie billionaire beau. (And, yes, we're looking at you Ian Somerhalder!)
So, instead of giving "The Vampire Diaries" star anymore ink as a potential candidate to play Christian, I'm going to throw another actor's name in the Red Room of Pain. And, in the process try and find him a lady love to call his own.
Without further ado, I nominate "Thor" star Chris Hemsworth and Ian's co-star/girlfriend Nina Dobrev!

Um, well, have you seen him without his shirt on? We'd like to see more of him without his shirt on as he seduces Ana into doing all the things she never thought were on the relationship menu. Plus, everything sounds a bit more convincing with an Australian accent suggesting it (even if it's not 100 percent in keeping with the source material...).Nina Dobrev as Ana
She already said she'd rather see He Who Will Not Be Named tie up and titillate his way through the film, but there's something about Nina's wide-eyed stare that gives us the impression she might actually be kind of perfect. She's already endured tough love as Elena on "Vampire Diaries," so it wouldn't be too much of a stretch. (And speaking of Warner: Don't miss the digital novella, "Destroy Me," (out in October) that offers a scary-sexy peek inside the mind of the man who tried to claim Juliette for his own...and that might just have you rethinking how you want this story to end.)

Justin Bieber sings about wanting to be your "Boyfriend" on his brand-new album, Believe, out this week, but as it turns out he wants you to smell like his Girlfriend.
In addition to dropping a whole set of new tunes, Justin is also releasing his new perfume named, well, Girlfriend. And when the singer stopped by the MTV studios on Tuesday night for "Bieber Live," he revealed the inspiration behind the scent and the oh-so-special secret ingredient that is sure to drive girls everywhere wild.
"Well, you know, I told [the perfume creators] they got to smell like all my fans all around the world," he said. "Just a beautiful smell, something not too fruity, but nice and flowery...got a nice little maybe cherry scent in there."
In addition to touches of the berry, there are also hints of Bieber floating around in those bottles. Or, so he joked during the show: "There's actually in each bottle of Girlfriend, it's a little bit of my sweat. It's a secret ingredient."
This is Justin's second perfume on the market. In June 2011, he released Someday. "I just think that what we decided to do—making the fragrance for females, not getting a cologne for males—I said it before and I'll say it again, I'm more concerned about how girls smell 'cause I'm a guy, and I know what smells good, and I know what I like, so girls should know, if [I like] it, then other guys are going to like it," he shared about his desire to make girls smell nice.

It's day three of our Casting Christian and Ana feature, in which MTV News staffers reveal their actor picks for the steamy, blush-worthy flick "Fifty Shades of Grey." So far, we've picked a bloodsucking babe and some thesps with serious Oscar credentials, but today I am choosing two actors who've already expressed great interest in taking on these S&M roles.
My picks are none other than teen TV favorites Ian Somerhalder and Lucy Hale!
Ian as Christian
Ian Somerhalder screams Christian Grey—with his dark hair, smoldering stare and mysterious look, Ian embodies all that is the Seattle-based billionaire. Ian has been actively campaigning for the role, saying that playing Damon in "The Vampire Diaries" has been perfect training to take on the tycoon. He recently told us that because he plays a 170-year-old vampire he has "a lot of experience in seducing younger women." SOLD! Also, Ian isn't afraid to take it off—before "Vampire Diaries" he starred in the HBO show "Tell Me You Love Me," and even though it was short lived, Ian bared all. We suggest you check it out.Lucy as Ana
Lucy Hale has many of the qualities that make up Anastasia. Not only does she have the dark hair, but at 23, she is just one year older than Ana. On "Pretty Little Liars," Lucy plays Aria, a girl that starts a relationship with her English teacher (scandal!), so she already knows a little bit about falling in love with an older guy who has some flaws, and we know Christian has a long list of them. Lucy can definitely pull off the innocence that Ana portrays, but we have a feeling that she also can't wait to let out her inner bad girl.Don't agree with my picks for Christian and Ana?
