- Star Spotting: Lady Gaga Announces Her Melbourne Arrival By Tweeting Dominatrix-y GPOY
Lady Gaga's latest GPOY shows off her dominatrix-like lingerie!
We're not that surprised that Lady Gaga announced her arrival in Melbourne by tweeting a photo of herself wearing a dominatrix-with-a-heart-of-gold lingerie ensemble (maybe a little something she picked up while hanging with ex-boyfriend Taylor Kinney?). We're more surprised that Mother Monster goes to bed wearing seminormal clothes (while looking like Bridget Bardot) and not, you know, a nightgown made of slimy yet sexy Oscar Mayer bologna.
While most Australians probably would have just appreciated a thoughtful "G'day Monsters" from the "Marry The Night" singer, our fave meat dress enthusiast took it about a million steps further and tweeted a pic of herself rocking some seriously sexy underwear along with the caption, "Hey Melbourne we're here! We can hear you downstairs! Is that church bell ringing for us? The devil of pop is here." There's NEVER a dull moment with you, GAGALOO!
Oh, also, we're glad that Gaga's MRI is looking good after her head injury, but is Gaga thinking clearly?! Doesn't she know that sending half-naked pics to the rest of the world is asking for trouble? (To be fair, Gaga does A LOT of stuff most peeps shouldn't do). But kids, don't try this at home -- you have moms and employers who don't need to see you in your skivvies. Meanwhile, Gaga and all other celebs, please continue tweeting questionably appropriate GPOYs in various states of undress. It gives us clothed commoners something to share on the internet!!

Lana Del Rey pledges her allegiance to you in the trailer for 'National Anthem.'It seems like whenever Lana Del Rey makes a move on the internet, there are 20 billion reactions. With the trailer for her new video "National Anthem" (which is the whole song, so confused why it's called a trailer), we are treated to all the Lana-isms we've become accustomed to. Major style: Check. Big hair: Check. Bad boys (in this case played by rapper A$AP Rocky): Check. But is there something more here than the usual? We think there might be.
Watch the trailer for Lana Del Rey's "National Anthem" after the jump.
In "National Anthem," we see Lana let her patriot flag fly, as her style mimics the classic and chic former first lady Jackie Onassis. A$AP, who spends most of the video smoking, is looking rather presidential himself as a mockup JFK perhaps? Though the lyrics of the song tell a story that's probably not fitting of the office of the presidency: "Tell me I'm your National Anthem/ Red, white, blue's in the skies/ Summer's in the air and baby/ Heaven's in your eyes." Just sayin', I don't think I've ever heard President Obama say anything like that.

Переслать - Katy Perry Wigs Out Before Her 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' Appearance (PHOTO)
Guess which one's Katy Perry, guys!
Katy Perry is the reigning queen of the hair color revolution. She went from black to blue to pink to rainbow-swirly-sorbet something to purple, and I'm sure I'm missing a few, and oh, you're very welcome for the Katy Perry hair color timeline, by the way! We're pretty sure she's made it a personal goal to turn her hair every color in the Pantone palette. And we love the fact that her hair color history is more diverse than our sock collection. We just hope she goes "Tangarine Tango" at some point.
So that's why, when we first saw this photo on the "Wide Awake" singer's Twitter, we thought it was finally happening: The Official Katy Perry Wig Collection! But, alas, it was just a sneak peek of Katy Perry on "Jimmy Kimmel Live."
But now we have two really important things we want to ask Katy directly when she answers fans at tonight's special performance at the L.A. premiere of "Part Of Me." 1.) CAN YOU PLEASE put out a wig collection? And, 2. Can we PLEASE have Louis and Liam's phone numbers if you're not going to use them?

Переслать - New Song: Flo Rida Featuring Jennifer Lopez, 'Sweet Spot'
Flo Rida and Jennifer Lopez hit their 'Sweet Spot.'
If there's one thing Flo Rida loves -- besides bicep curls and panoramic back tattoos -- it's a collaboration. There's his "Wild Ones" team-up with Sia, "Low" with T-Pain, and even his old-school Lady Gaga collaboration. And now, after pairing up with her on "Goin' In," Flo Rida got together with Jennifer Lopez again, this time for "Sweet Spot," which is the sweetest song involving candy since 50 Cent's "Candy Shop," featuring Olivia, of recent "Love And Hip-Hop" fame.
Listen to Flo Rida's "Sweet Spot" featuring Jennifer Lopez after the jump.
Set to a thumping club beat, the record begins softly with Jennifer's whispery, Britney-style coo: "Let's hit the sweet spot/Oh I, I'm ready to go/Oh, I want candy tonight." (Uhhh, so remember when we reminded you Jennifer Lopez currently looks like this? She's clearly not eating any damn candy, but we'll let that lyric slide in the spirit of creative license.) After her midtempo hook, the song explodes into a shimmery, sugary banger rife with Flo Rida's signature rhymes. Unfortunately, Flo's verse kinda sorta
definitelysounds a little indistinguishable from other verses, but that doesn't mean we don't give him props for his commitment to treating his gal to five-star living: "Yeah, I wanna take you back to my spot/You can be the candy girl in my shop/We both know what we craving, why not?/Make tonight first class with no stops." Add this to your summer BBQ playlist immediately before it drops on Flo Rida's Wild Ones LP July 3.+ Listen to Flo Rida's "Sweet Spot," featuring Jennifer Lopez.

Переслать - Wynter Gordon, Spice Girls, Cassadee Pope + More: Top 5 Must-Hear Pop Songs Of The Week
It's Tuesday! Time for another round of "5 Must-Hear Pop Songs of the Week"!
I know that my pop roundups are usually all about girl power, but this week, we've ACTUALLY got girl power--the Almighty Spice are back with a new musical! Plus, killer cuts from a dance floor diva taking a dive into new territory, a Swedish producer carving out essential sad disco and a major solo attempt from an emo-rock frontwoman on hiatus. Zig-a-zig-HA!
1.) Wynter Gordon, "Stimela"
Wynter Gordon might be best known for her colossal club cuts like "Dirty Talk" and "Til Death," but beginning on July 9, the immensely talented NYC-based songstress is about to take a breather from the dance floor and dive into some deeper tunes and unexpected genres with four brand-new EPs, beginning with Doleo (That's Latin for "pain.") And if "Stimela," the first song from Doleo is any indication, she's about to, as we in the industry like to say, snatch all wigs.
Floating above spooky, ambient electronica, the chanteuse evokes shades of Phil Collins' "In The Air Tonight," The Weeknd and Florence + The Machine's witchy whimsy. "Save me with your powers/ shower me with your wisdom and truth," Gordon begs on the track. Featuring a chorus sung entirely in Zulu and some almighty tribal drums, "Stimela" is one massive out-of-body experience, and one of the best, most jaw-droppingly amazing songs I've heard this year. Consider me thoroughly slayed.

2.) Spice Girls, "Wannabe"
In case you haven't already seen us shaking and crying about it forever, the almighty five of the Spice Girls reunited in London today, on the steps of the very same hotel where "Wannabe" was shot, to announce their upcoming musical, Viva Forever. WHAT?! Obviously then, some much-needed reverence was due in this week's roundup. Aside from the fact that "Wannabe" is like one of the most important songs of our generation -- it ushered in girl power, platform boots, Union Jack minidresses, pigtails and the bubblegum-pop frenzy of the '90s -- it's still one hell of a perfect pop song, 16 years and counting. Viva forever, indeed!

3.) Orion, "In The End"
OK, so I don't mean to stereotype or anything, but there's something that must be said about the people of Sweden: They sure know how to cut some sad disco. Like Robyn, Lykke Li and all great Swede-pop legends, up-and-coming producer Orion is paving the way for himself with a sparkling, somber electronic debut. With vocal assistance by Swede-pop chanteuse, Marylin, "In The End" plays like a sequel to Kleerup's global smash with Robyn, "With Every Heartbeat." "In the end, there is only us/ and baby there is time for us," she mournfully cries above the blaring beats. Yep, you might want to go ahead and stuff a few tissues in your back pocket before you hit the dance floor.

4.) Marina And The Diamonds, "Power & Control (Michael Woods Remix)"
Right, OK--so I've already written about this song, but here's the thing. One, "Power & Control" is one of the best songs of the year, and two -- it's remixed! Therefore, it's like a whole new song and it counts! The newly debuted Michael Woods remix of Marina And The Diamonds' unbelievably major second single off of Electra Heart (out July 23), smooths the song's damning vocals across a slow-building, dramatic build, and lets it slowly climb until a most killer payoff in the form of an EDM breakdown that'll send the heart sticker flying straight off of your cheek. It's a must, as with all things Marina.

5.) Cassadee Pope, "Secondhand"
After announcing a hiatus late last year, Hey Monday lead vocalist Cassadee Pope has opted to go the solo route in the first half of 2012, signaled by the release of her debut self-titled EP, a four-track collection of deliriously catchy pop-rock tunes. "Secondhand," my personal favorite from the release, blends dramatic string sections and gorgeous, singalong-ready pop riffs, somewhere in between the singer-songwriter spunk of Cady Groves and the hook-heavy quality of Taylor Swift. "Don't worry baby, 'cause it's all my fault/ I'll take the part that she doesn't want," Pope cries. From there, the song only gets infinitely catchier. The next radio earworm? Watch your back, Carly Rae. Just saying.

Bradley Stern is a writer from Connecticut. In his spare time, he enjoys organizing his Britney Spears CD collection in reverse chronological order and plotting the various ways in which he will bring down Katy Perry to become Rihanna's best friend. But most of all, he spends his time tweeting musing daily about pop music on his blog, MuuMuse.

Переслать - Justin Bieber Conducts An Entire Interview Wearing Tie-Dye On A Segway (PHOTO)
Justin Bieber looks hot in tie-dye. This is a MIRACLE!
We've aways been of the belief that even if Justin Bieber wore an outfit made up of used lobster shells (Gaga, don't steal our idea!) we'd still be a Belieber. However, a tie-dye shirt? That's tough considering tie-dye may in fact be the most terrifying thing you could do to fabric that doesn't involve an Ed Hardy logo. Yet somehow, Justin Bieber managed to wear tie-dye and make it a bawse move when he visited Radio Disney early this week for a Take Over, during which he not only wore tie-dye, but he conducted an entire interview... on a Segway. So let's focus on the fact that he pulled that off without falling. Because if tie-dye becomes a thing, I may have to resort to... I don't know. Wearing lobster shells, probably.

Переслать - New Video: Bei Maejor, 'Pillz'
Bei Maejor gets trippy in his new 'Pillz' video.
DISCLAIMER: Bei Maejor is not taking pills. He just knows what it feels like. Apparently. The last time we checked in with the R&B/hip-hop upstart, he was hanging with Waka Flocka Flame on "Lights Down Low." Now, after partying with the Brick Squad star -- and producing songs for Justin Bieber's new Believe album -- Bei Maejor is rolling stag to the club in his new video, "Pillz."
Watch Bei Maejor's "Pillz" video after the jump.
In the hypnotic clip, Bei gets psychedelic singing about his girl: "I ain't never popped no pillz/ but I bet this how it feels." The song samples the equally freaky Neon Indian's song "Polish Girl," as we see Bei drive around, play some ball, get in a fight and go to the club, all under the influence of this potent chick. So basically, love to Bei Maejor is weird colors and slow-mo. We don't think we've ever fallen that hard, but we sure are looking. Anyone? (PLZ TXT US THX!)

Переслать - 9 Extremely '90s Photos Of The Spice Girls!
The Spice Girls' new musical means it's OK to start crimping your hair again!
As far as we're concerned, every day should be Spice Girls Appreciation Day. However, we're particularly grateful on this day since our prayers were answered -- no, not that Pokemon nails prayer, though we're thankful for that too. We're specifically referring to the news that the Spice Girls are working on a musical called "Viva Forever!"
The show, which premieres this December in London, will include songs from the Spice Girls' catalog and follow the journey of a young girl who goes from obscurity to celebrity overnight. A DREAM PLOT! And so to honor the Spice Girls and their new venture, we scoured our own personal Spice Girls photo archives (meaning Getty) and found the most '90s-est photos of the Spice Girls that exist. So please, dust off your most inappropriate camouflage apparel made of the most synthetic materials available for human use and enjoy these vintage Spice Girls pics! Hopefully, these images will inspire you to spice up your life and start reincorporating "ZIG A ZIG AH" into your daily lexicon again. (As if you stopped using it.)

Переслать - Watch Adam Lambert Wild Out During His Tribute To Donna Summer (VIDEO)
Adam Lambert's 'Hot Stuff' tribute to Donna Summer is, well, hot.Adam Lambert was put on planet Earth for two reasons. Well, a million reasons, but here are the two most important reasons for the purposes of this post: 1.) To put out albums like Trespassing, which trounce the competition and debut at No. 1, and 2.) To slay a disco track. And that's precisely what he did when he covered the late Donna Summer's seminal disco song, "Hot Stuff."
Donna passed away last month at the age of 63, and while all the musical tributes dedicated to her legacy have been beautiful and meaningful, if we had to pick a favorite, it'd be Adam Lambert's tribute to Donna Summer from the Alice Radio Summerthing in San Francisco. Maybe it's because he infused the song with utter furse-ness and electric guitars or because he totally slayed the vocals, but suffice it to say that Adam was born to sing "Hot Stuff." And that's not just because he is well, hot stuff. (Sorry, had to.)
Adam parlayed his "Hot Stuff" cover into a "Cuckoo" mashup during his Golden Gate Park gig, where he told his fans, "I love Donna Summer so much! Do you love Donna Summer?" (Is that even a real question?) Way to make the Queen Of Disco (and us!) proud, bro.

Переслать - New Video: Kreayshawn, 'Summertime,' Featuring V-Nasty
Kreayshawn and V-Nasty are ready to snatch your chick in their 'Summertime' video.
Every time the sun gets a little hotter and the days get a little longer, the competition starts getting fiercer for the song of the summer. We've already had a few songs enter this race, but now Kreayshawn's throwing her hat in the ring with "Summertime." Now, yes, there's already a classic song called "Summertime" dedicated to the sunniest season, but you know that the White Girl Mob is going to bring their own special swag -- and more swearing -- to the track.
Watch Kreayshawn's "Summertime" video featuring V-Nasty after the jump.
Over a fuzzed-out almost chillwave beat (shouts to our bros at Weird Vibes!), Kreay takes it right to the point: "It's summertime/ and your b**** is on my mind/ It's summertime/ and your b**** is all mine." Kreay wants a summer hookup, and she wants it now. Can't blame her! It's hotter than Lana Del Rey in a tanning bed, and clothes be coming OFF.
The song's lo-fi feel dovetails nicely with a VHS (or some similar postmodern facsimile) video that followis the two girls hiking in the California woods and stuntin' around Hollywood. (Also, shouts to Kreayshawn's SICK eyelashes.) Something tells us this song'll be blasted out of convertibles (or affordable compacts like mine) for the next few months.
