Переслать - Kristen Stewart Is The Highest Paid Actress In Hollywood
This should come as no surprise, "Twilight" fans: Kristen Stewart made more money than any of her female peers last year.
Forbes has released their annual list of the highest-paid actresses in Hollywood, and Stewart managed to land on top. The magazine estimates an actor's income based on the money they're paid up front for a role as well as any other residuals, endorsements or advertising work they may receive. From May 2011 to May 2012, Forbes calculated that Stewart made $34.5 million thanks to filming both "Breaking Dawn" films back-to-back and her recent hit "Snow White and the Huntsman."
So who else made the cut? Well, the second woman on this list may surprise you. Forbes estimates that Cameron Diaz made $34 million last year thanks to the surprise success of "Bad Teacher" and the back end profits she made from that, plus the money Diaz took in from "What to Expect When You're Expecting" and "The Green Hornet." Diaz might not have been the actress who popped on our radar last year, but she certainly did well enough for herself.
Coming in third place is Sandra Bullock, who Forbes says made around $25 million for the year. She's still taking in profits from "The Blind Side's success three years ago, plus she earned good paydays from "Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close" and "Gravity."
Rounding out the top five are Angelina Jolie with $20 million thanks to her residuals from past movies and endorsement deals with Louis Vuitton and Charlize Theron with $18 million due in a large part to "Young Adult," "Prometheus" and "Snow White and the Huntsman." You can read the full list here.

Переслать - Leonardo DiCaprio Finds His Wife For 'Wolf Of Wall Street'
Now that Martin Scorsese has the family-friendly stuff out of the way, he's delving right back in to the heady dramatic work he's become known and loved for. Casting is picking up for his latest flick, "The Wolf of Wall Street," and it seems like Scorsese might be close to finding an onscreen wife for Leonardo DiCaprio's character.
The Hollywood Reporter has learned that Australian actress Margot Robbie is in talks to play Nadine, the wife of DiCaprio's Jordan Belfort. And she's not the only person new name to be added to the project recently.
If she signs on, Robbie will join an already impressive cast, which recently added Jean Dujardin. He's in talks to play Jean-Jacques Handali, a "suave Swiss banker involved in laundering illicit funds" for Belfort's firm.
Then there's Kyle Chandler and Jonah Hill, who also have big roles to play in the project. Chandler, who we love to see playing a good guy on the big and small screens, will portray the FBI agent who brings Belfort down, while Hill will play Belfort's close friend who later becomes his business partner.
"The Wolf of Wall Street" follows a drug-, sex- and alcohol-addicted brokerage firm operator's rise from a 20-something multi-millionaire in the 1980s to a 30-something federal convict banned from the securities business for life in 1994. This will be Scorsese and DiCaprio's fifth film together.

Переслать - 'Brave' Director Shares Secrets Behind Merida's Hair
Though Pixar's latest film "Brave" is sure to impress with its story and scope when it hits theaters on Friday, there was only one thing that fans could talk about when they saw the movie's first teaser trailer: Princess Merida's hair.
Or, more specifically, just how realistic Merida's hair looks. Apparently that was all created by a new technology that the folks over at Pixar came up with to immerse viewers in "Brave." The Disney subsidiary wanted to make sure that its human characters looked especially realistic in its love letter to Scottish mythology.
"Because it's set in a real place and time, 11th century Scotland, more than any other film we had to figure out how to layer and texture accordingly," Tia Kratter, a Pixar shading art director, tells The Wall Street Journal.
Another big element of that was creating realistic kilts and tartans for the characters to wear. That meant Kratter was treated to two trips to Scotland with screenwriter and co-director Steve Purcell to get what WSJ calls "a crash course in kilt and tartan design." Pixar had to come up with even more new technologies to make sure that the layering of "Brave's" characters' outfits looked as real and true to the time as possible. And from what we've seen, they've succeeded.
Of course, any person with real knowledge of ancient Scotland knows that kilts didn't become a staple in Scottish wardrobes until the 18th century, which is seven hundred years after "Brave" is supposed to take place. Those are only minor details, claims Purcell.
"It's a love letter to Scotland, not a documentary," he said.

Переслать - 'V/H/S' Trailer Brings Back Anthology Horror
Is it possible to be excited for a movie that you're not entirely sure you want to see? Because that's where we currently stand with "V/H/S" the found footage horror anthology that made huge, terrifying waves at this year's Sundance Film Festival.
The first trailer debuted today over at Yahoo! Movies, and it doesn't help us with our dilemma. The more we see from "V/H/S," the better it looks and the less we actually want to sit through it.
Check out the full NSFW trailer for "V/H/S" after the jump!
"V/H/S" tells five separate stories of sheer found footage horror from six of the best up-and-coming directors working in the genre today. The arc connecting these stories explains the retro-fitted title.
When a group of burglars is tasked with breaking into a house to find a VHS tape, they stumble into much more trouble than they were ever expecting. The house is filled with tapes, so they start looking through each horrifying segment to locate the one they're looking for.
"V/H/S" will be available OnDemand starting August 31 and in theaters October 5.

Переслать - Bryan Cranston Calls 'Breaking Bad' Movie Talk 'Not Far-Fetched'
In a new interview with the LA Times, "Breaking Bad" star and supporting player in every movie of the last two years, Bryan Cranston spoke about the possibility that 16 hour-long episodes might not be enough for Vince Gilligan to wrap up the story of Walter White and his little meth business.
Previously, the show runner openly talked about fearing that he wouldn't have enough story to fill out the rest of the order, but now it seems the opposite may be true.
Interestingly, talk of extending the life of "Breaking Bad" has led Cranston to admit that he's open to the possibility of a movie.
Click past the jump to read more.
"It's not far-fetched," Cranston told the LA Times. "I wouldn't mind visiting that possibility. And this is coming from a guy who doesn't know anything of how the show's going to end. If it doesn't end up in a total apocalypse, who knows? Maybe we could revisit Walter White a year down the road and see where his life has gone. If he's still alive, that is."
Cranston is a clever guy, and you can see that in his quote. If he went on the record saying, "Yes, a 'Breaking Bad' movie is a possibility," people would begin to assume that A) he knows how the series end, and B) Walter White walks away.
If this talk ensures anything, it's that there is a far bigger world than what we knew before, which more or less ended with Gus Fring. What is this new threat that could extend the narrative beyond the remaining 16 episodes?
We will begin to find out when "Breaking Bad" returns on July 15.

Переслать - 'Master' Trailer Reveals Philip Seymour Hoffman's Character
"The Master," Paul Thomas Anderson's follow-up to "There Will Be Blood," has almost always been described as his "Scientology film." Those involved with the movie have denied any basis in the life of L. Ron Hubbard, the controversial religion's founder, and the director even screened it for his one-time collaborator and famed church member, Tom Cruise.
But a new preview for the highly anticipated film reveals Philip Seymour Hoffman's character for the first time, and Lancaster Dodd certainly shares a few stripes with Hubbard.
Check out the new preview for Paul Thomas Anderson's "The Master."
Like the previous clip, this new look at the film focuses primarily on Joaquin Phoenix's character, Freddie Sutton, a wayward vet who eventually becomes a protégé to Dodd.
Sutton answers several questions put to him by Dodd, and when asked what it is that he does, Dodd answers "I am a writer, a doctor, a nuclear physicist, a theoretical philosopher, but above all, I am a man."
"The Master" is scheduled to hit theaters on October 12.

Переслать - Jennifer Connelly Is On A Boat, In Talks For 'Noah'
The final role left to be cast in Darren Aronofsky's biblical epic, "Noah," looks like it has gone to longtime front runner Jennifer Connelly.
Connelly has long been discussed as the most likely choice for the role of Noah's wife, and according to the Variety report, producers had sought her for weeks, before offering a deal to Connolly yesterday (June 18).
The actress will star opposite Russell Crowe in the story of the flood that ended the world and a single ship that saved humanity.
Connolly has a history with both Aronofsky and Crowe. She won an Academy Award for her role in Ron Howard's "A Beautiful Mind," where she also starred as Crowe's wife. Connolly also had a harrowing role in Aronofsky's breakout film, "Requiem for a Dream."
The actress joins an already impressive cast that includes Crowe, Ray Winstone, Emma Watson, Logan Lerman, and Douglas Booth. Filming is expected to begin shortly.
"Noah" is scheduled for release on March 28, 2014.
