  • 'Secret Circle' Star Chris Zylka Keeps Things Creepy With 'American Horror Story' Role

We were pretty bummed when The CW didn't renew our favorite witchy drama, "The Secret Circle," for a second season. But it looks like at least one star will cast his spell in a brand-new role.

Chris Zylka, whom "TSC" fans will surely recognize as Cassie's neighbor Jake Armstrong, has joined the cast of "American Horror Story" for its second season. An achievement, girlfriend Lucy Hale couldn't help but celebrate on Twitter today.

We caught up with the actor at last night's "The Amazing Spider-Man" premiere (he plays bully Flash Thompson in the film), where Chris himself was breaking the news. "My dear friend and someone who has recently become a boss of mine, Ryan Murphy, is letting me announce tonight that I'm joining the cast of 'American Horror Story' next season, which I was so stoked about 'cause I'm a huge fan of the show," he told us.

Chris couldn't divulge much about his role but did say this: "It could get pretty creepy." We would expect nothing less, Chris. Congrats!

Until next time, Crushers, have a lovely weekend and Tweet Dreams!

  • Kristen Stewart Drops Deets About New Florabotanica Perfume

We told you back in January that Kristen Stewart signed on to be the face of Balenciaga's new scent. Today, we bring you all the delicious details about the new fragrance and how the non-perfume-wearing KStew ended up as spokeswoman for a luxury fashion house.

Women's Wear Daily reports that the fragrance, named Florabotanica, will be released in September. Kristen describes Florabotanica as "natural" and "alive." "I think that as a young person wearing it, it kind of puts you on this level of, like, 'Whoa, check me out,'" she told the trade magazine.

Balenciaga is trying to attract younger buyers with this scent, so in that respect, it makes sense to use "Twilight" star Kristen Stewart in the advertisements. Still, it seems a bit odd to have an actress who openly admits that she doesn't wear fragrance representing a fragrance. "I was never the one wearing my mom's perfume and trying to be sexy," Kristen admitted. "I was like hanging out with my brothers and doing the opposite of that." Ultimately, it was her close relationship with Balenciaga designer Nicholas Ghesquière that convinced her to sign on. "I would have done anything with him," she explained. "I want to be part of this art project." For his part, Nicholas picked the actress to front his new product because she's the "perfect beauty" and "perfect personality" to walk through a garden of "nice and nasty" flowers. We, er, totally agree?

In the perfume's new print ads, Kristen strikes a strong pose in a floral-print architectural dress. She's so pale in the image that we're reminded of another reason why KStew should front a perfume: If Bella's scent was so powerful that it drew Edward to her, we'd shell out plenty to wear what she's wearing!

  • Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes Divorcing

Another Hollywood couple is calling it quits.

People reports that Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, who have been married for five years and have one daughter together—six-year-old Suri—are getting a divorce.

"This is a personal and private matter for Katie and her family," Katie's attorney, Jonathan Wolfe, told the magazine. "Katie's primary concern remains, as it always has been, her daughter's best interest."

The pair began dating in 2005 after Katie's engagement to actor Chris Klein ended. TomKat made their first appearance as a couple a few weeks later at a film awards ceremony in Rome. Tom proposed to Katie atop the Eiffel Tower after only two months of dating—and after famously jumping on Oprah Winfrey's couch to express his complete adoration for the actress. The two married the following year in Rome. It was the third marriage for Tom and Katie's first.

The actor most recently appeared as rocker Stacee Jaxx in the film "Rock of Ages," while Katie played opposite Adam Sandler in last year's "Jack and Jill."

  • Let's Celebrate Canada Day With 7 Pop-Culture Things We Love A-boot The Country!

Carly Rae JepsenWe've already started planning our Fourth of July celebrations next week. Burgers? Check. Fireworks? Check. Red, white and blue cookies? Check, check, check. However, some of our friends from Canada get to celebrate their country's birthday a few days earlier than ours, on July 1. In honor of Canada's 145th birthday this weekend, we give you Hollywood Crush's Seven Pop-Culture Things We Love A-boot Canada.

    Carly Rae Jepsen
We just met her, and this is crazy, but Canadian crooner Carly Rae Jepsen brought us the song of the summer, "Call Me Maybe." Her new duet with Owl City, "Good Time," dropped this week and it's just as catchy and dance-inducing as her breakout hit. Before she came into our lives we missed her so bad; thank you, Canada, for Carly Rae Jepsen!

    Sh-- Girls Say
You know him as The Girl who, er, says that sh--. Canadian Graydon Sheppard and his boyfriend, Kyle Humphrey, launched one of the years' best memes with their hilarious Twitter account and YouTube videos. Canadian comedians are nothing new—funnymen Jim Carrey, Mike Myers, Will Arnett and Michael Cera all hail from the Great White North—but these boys invaded the social media-sphere and made us all laugh at ourselves.

    Taylor Kitsch
This is supposed to be the year that transitions Taylor Kitsch from Tim Riggins to blockbuster movie star. Well, "John Carter" fell short of expectations and "Battleship" has been sinking at the box office. Perhaps the third time will be a charm for Taylor, whose new movie, "Savages," hits theaters next weekend. And even if it's not? He's so easy on the eyes that we'll keep going to see this Canadian cutie's movies regardless.

    "The L.A. Complex"
This sexy, drama-filled Canadian soap was picked up by The CW this spring. If you haven't watched the first six episodes yet, you are seriously missing out on all the stripping, sex tapes, casting room couches, secret gay romances, unrequited love and backstabbing beyotches. Need we say more?

    Justin Bieber
You already know the amazing story: small-town boy from Stratford, Ontario, makes it big after being discovered on YouTube. His newest album, Believe, has received rave reviews, cementing our belief that the Biebs is a true pop star rather than simply a passing tween heartthrob. Despite all his fame, fortune and that famous girlfriend, Justin still makes time to go home and visit his family and friends in Canada.

    Shay Mitchell
August's Seventeen cover girl is Pretty Little Liar Shay Mitchell. The ABC Family star and former model is enviable not just for her talent, looks and fashion sense, but also her support of anti-bullying causes "Be a Star" and "Delete Digital Drama." Basically, like a true Canadian, she's just so gosh darn nice, eh?

    Ryan Gosling
Hey girl. Ryan Gosling will always be Hollywood Crush's No. 1 Canadian. End of story.

Who's your favourite Canadian? (See what we did there?) Let us know in the comments and on Twitter!

  • The Evolution Of Channing Tatum: A Look Back At The 'Magic Mike' Star's Career In Photos

We did it guys! "Magic Mike" premiere day is finally here, and we didn't once anxiety-eat an entire pint of Phish Food in anticipation of this titillater. (Yeah, we're just that self-actualized.) Don't get us wrong, though, we've been totes sweating this blockbuster of booty-shaking proportions for months. I mean, Channing Tatum in a thong? This is Hollywood Crush's Christmas! And birthday! And Arbor Day! All wrapped into one giant package...if you know what we mean.

As the Chan Man takes center stage at the cinema this weekend, let's look back at his increasingly impressive career through photos.

Born April 26, 1980, in Cullman, Alabama, Channing moved with his family to rural Mississippi at the age of six, later attending high school in Florida. It was while living in the Sunshine State that Channing picked up his now signature dance moves.

"When you grow up in Florida, there's a lot of beautiful Spanish women out there, and they have this amazing thing called Quinceañeras," Channing recalled during MTV's Movie Awards Sneak Peek Week. "After about a year of that, I just got really tired of being the the tall, skinny white kid who couldn't dance and couldn't get any of the beautiful girls to dance with me, so you just grab an abuela and get her to show you what's going on."

Those early lessons would come in handy for Channing, when in his late teens, he embarked on a short-lived career as a male stripper. (And, if you're wondering, his routine to Usher's "You Make Me Wanna" earned him the most $1 bills.) In addition to stripping, the star also made a meager living modeling for Abercrombie & Fitch.

The soon-to-be star landed his first feature film role in 2005, playing Jason Lyle in the basketball drama "Coach Carter." Parts in "Supercross," "Havoc" and "A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints" followed, but it was a pair of 2006 teen movies that launched Tatum into pop-culture consciousness. In "She's the Man," the actor played a soccer-star stud opposite Amanda Byne's cross-dressing Viola, while "Step Up" landed Channing and his smooth stylings on stage opposite Jenna Dewan. We weren't the only ones who got hot and bothered by his turn as a down-on-his-luck dancer: Channing and co-star Jenna began dating shortly after filming wrapped, marrying in 2009. They continue to be one of our fave Hollywood couples.

Channing shed a bit of his teen dream image in the late aughts by tackling a number of action roles in films like "Battle Seattle," "Fighting" and "G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra." But, he'll always know what women want, as he tapped into his softer side for the Nicholas Sparks' adaptation "Dear John," and more recently, "The Vow."

And if it feels like you've seen Channing everywhere over the past two years, it's probably because you have. The hottie starred in no fewer than five movies in 2011, and has a full 2012 line-up. He started off the year making us swoon with the aforementioned "The Vow," co-starring cutie Rachel McAdams. He made us pee our pants with laughter alongside Jonah Hill in "21 Jump Street," continueing to put his comedic chops to good use with a hosting gig on "Saturday Night Live." And—praise be to the inventor of Spandex—Channing returns this week, shimmying into theaters with "Magic Mike," which is loosely based on his time as an exotic dancer.

With upcoming projects like "G.I. Joe: Retaliation" and the latest Wachowskis film, "Jupiter Ascending" lined up, you'll be seeing a lot of Channing in the coming years. Even if he doesn't don a thong.

  • Style Superstar: Blake Lively Is A Savage Beauty

Forget the cheeky intro and opening tease, we're just going to come out and say it: fashionably speaking, Blake Lively has been killing it all week long at the premieres and media appearances for her new movie, "Savages." Our spidey style sense has been tingling off the hook as she debuted one amazing look after another, from a custom Lanvin cocktail dress to a vibrant Michael Kors suit. But it was her outfit at the film's L.A. premiere that hit it out of the park, and made her today's Style Superstar.

Blake was channeling old Hollywood glamour in a big way when she donned this skin-tight Zuhair Murad gown with a nude underslip and a dizzying pattern of intricate beadwork. The sideswept cascade of curls, the red-red lips, the simple gold jewelry; it's all very Veronica Lake, and an interesting choice for the actress who usually favors a more fresh-faced and modern look. She looked confident and classic—and where most ladies, even ones with flawless figures, would risk being overwhelmed by the bold design, Blake was the boss of this daring dress from top to bottom.

And speaking of daring, Blake wasn't the only star to step out in a dress with some serious character; Selena Gomez was pretty in pink at the premiere of the new Katy Perry movie. This Emilio Pucci number is definitely fun, but the ragged edges and random flyaway bits make it look like it's made from confetti and/or Muppet hair...and if she weren't at the premiere of a movie celebrating the woman who made it normal to wear cupcakes as a brassiere, that would be a bad thing. But y'know, under the circumstances, it's actually kind of perfect. Carry on!

  • Channing Tatum Teases Possibility Of Extra Sexiness On 'Magic Mike' DVD

Considering the content of "Magic Mike" (which, in case you didn't hear us squealing about it the first 500 times, is about hot naked men, dancing naked onstage, and hey, did we mention they're naked?!), it would be downright irresponsible of us not to ask the cast of fine, foxy gentlemen who star in the film whether there's any, er, previously unseen footage from inside the club that didn't make the theatrical cut but just might be on the DVD. And we're not talking about blooper reels, either.

So, is there anything exciting that was left on the cutting room floor? According to Channing Tatum, yes. Yes, there is.

Turns out, those steamy stripteases aren't necessarily shown in their start-to-finish entirety in the version of the movie you'll see in theaters and, said Channing, "We fought so hard to try to figure out how much of the dances can you actually show. The thing about male stripping is, they all end the exact same way. You start clothed and you end naked. So the interesting stuff is up front, and the redundant stuff is toward the end."

To which we say: When it comes to hot naked men, sometimes a little redundancy can be just fine. But between keeping things from getting too explicit and trying to keep it interesting, when it came time to edit the dance scenes, Channing said that a lot got cut.

"We had the pieces of them tell the story, we couldn't show the whole thing," he explained. "There's some of them that are going to blow your mind when you see the entire thing."

And by "the entire thing," we really, really hope he means, y'know, the ENTIRE THING. You know what we're talking about. Yeeeah.

Are you excited to maybe see the ENTIRE THING on the "Magic Mike" DVD? Do you plan to see the movie this weekend? Spill it in the comments and on Twitter!

  • 'Ted' Star Mila Kunis: 'I've Never Dated'

Mila KunisIt's hard to say what we love most about Mila Kunis as Glamour magazine's August cover girl: the interview, where she talked about OkCupid-perusing wine parties and being happily free of her emaciated "Black Swan" body? The cute and colorful photo shoot showing off the star's gorgeous casual style? The amazing burgundy-colored Annie Hall hat? ...Okay, no contest: It's definitely the hat. But Mila's conversation with her interviewer on everything from online dating to having her girlfriends' backs to having a baby is a close second; it's impossible to read without wanting to be her friend.

For starters: Mila is pretty much the best internet dating wingwoman ever. And in addition to picking out hunky men for her lady friends, she also provides valuable editorial input on her pals' profiles.

"I'm really good at 'About Me,'" she said. "I feel like I could never write anything about myself, because that's like a therapy session. But about your girlfriends? You just write what you love about your friends."

But as much as Mila loves to shop the online man selection for others, she's not about to try it herself. "Because, ultimately, what's going to happen? I show up to coffee..."

...Yeah, we can see how that might be weird. (Although we will continue to hold out hope that every blind interdate we go on will turn out to be Ryan Gosling.) But, she said, "I'm OK in my personal life. I've never dated. I can say this honestly: I don't know what it's like to date. But also, how am I going to date? I'm not in one state long enough."

And if you're looking for the inside dirt on who Mila is romantically entangled with, don't get your hopes up; the famously private star doesn't give up anything on that front, and she's got some choice words for those who obsess over and pry into her personal life.

"Ninety-nine percent of it is bulls--t. That is the biggest form of bullying ever, the paparazzi. Printing lies, making accusations, it's just bullying."

Want to read more from Mila? Click over to Glamour.com for a sneak peek at the interview that will appear in the August issue!

  • Zoe Aggeliki Reportedly Out Front For Johanna In 'Catching Fire'

Zoe AggelikiThe "Catching Fire" casting rumors about who'll play Johanna Mason are flying so fast and furious that we're starting to get whiplash, but like so many Hollywood gossip go-rounds, it looks like the original dish might've been the most accurate: Deadline reports that Zoe Aggeliki, who was previously said to be right on the verge of being offered the role of Johanna, has surpassed Jena Malone as the favorite and is in talks to come on board.

Zoe, to recap, is a model-actress who's a relative newcomer to the movie biz; we'll be seeing her in the upcoming Percy Jackson movie and "R.I.P.D." Considering the success of the group of newbies who rounded out the Tribute cast in the first film (including the wonderful Willow Shields and Amandla Stenberg), there's no law that says a prolific actress would be a better choice—and getting a fresh face in this pivotal role would add a nice layer of "Who's that girl?!" intrigue to the ongoing buzz about the movie. Especially since she's so fierce-looking!

So, in summary, Zoe Aggeliki is on the verge of being cast as Johanna Mason! For real this time! Probably! Although under the circumstances, we also wouldn't be entirely surprised if they came out tomorrow and told us that no, actually, the role of Johanna will be played by Justin Bieber in a bear suit. Because hey, why not.
