One Direction's Liam Payne And Louis Tomlinson loved Katy Perry's movie (obvs).
For us, there are two ways you know you've really made it in life: 1.) You get VIP treatment at your fave restaurant (Applebee's doesn't just give everyone an extra chicken finger, guys). 2.) Famous boy bands give you a shout out, like One Direction did for Katy Perry's forthcoming concert 3-D movie. Not that Katy really needs the help. We're pretty sure there's going to be a mile-long line at every theater on July 5 ! (And I will be in one of those lines dressed exactly like these kids.)
But just in case the world didn't already know that "Katy Perry: Part Of Me" is going to be the most epic movie of 2012, One Direction's Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson's recent Twitter photo, featuring the guys and a life-sized Katy Perry movie poster, makes it official. And judging by the photo's caption -- "saw the katy perry movie earlier. Wow, what an amazing woman. True talent!" -- it sounds like the guys loved it!
But we're thinking Liam and Louis may have had some ulterior motives when they checked out the film. Perhaps they're doing research for their own possible 3-D movie. Or this whole Katy Perry crush rumor (in addition to Niall Horan's apparent crush on Demi Lovato) is true. Let's be honest: Nothing's sexier than a bro who totally supports your work. Oh, and being a multi-millionaire doesn't hurt either.

Remember the golden days of late '90s/ early aughts girl groups? When Destiny's Child, 3LW, and Blaque ruled the airwaves? The OMG Girlz are bringing that era back -- PRAISES! -- serving up some fresh girl group realness in the new clip for their single, "Where The Boys At?" Although since it's 2012 (or so I've heard), the girls all have neon hair and pastel hi-tops. And we're so not mad. In fact, that bit of choreography where the girls comb through their weaves with their fingers? It's going to be our new signature dance move at, like, every wedding.
The OMG Girlz -- known individually as Miss Star (werque!), Miss Beauty (werque!), and Miss Babydoll (and werque!) -- also get some assistance from T.I. (it helps that he's Star's dad) in the Bryan Barber-directed clip. (We're not at all jealous -- T.I. was a guest at our last beach party, too.) In the final sequence, Tip crashes the girls' beach party to reel in the sunny festivities: "OMG SMH exclamation point exclamation point sad face!" he yells while encouraging the girlz to stop all that gyrating. (S*** dads say!) "Get back in that boat and put on your loose pajamas, onesies, and fuzzy slippers!"
Luckily, the girls, whose Official Miss Guided album drops October 2 -- don't seem to take it too hard -- not even a scolding from T.I. can damper their pretty-girl swag.

When Pharrell co-writes your record, you know you're doing something right. When Big Sean drops a verse on your record and Wyclef produces it, you're doing things doubly right. If you're Cris Cab -- we first put him on your radar when he dropped his infectious cover of Wiz Khalifa's "Black & Yellow" -- you're doing everything right.
Once more, for emphasis, "Good Girls (Don't Grow On Trees)" was co-penned by Pharrell and produced by Wyclef, and the minimalist, reggae-tinged pop track's got Wyclef stamped all over it. Lyrically, Cris uses the feel-good track -- his first debut single on Mercury Records -- as on ode to his one-of-a-kind woman: "Hey man, I've learned my lesson/Got a good girl, count your blessing/Instead of spending them up on sex/And good girls don't grow on trees." Daaaamn. In my experience men usually have to be over the age of 43 (minimum!) to figure that one out. And Cris is only 19. Snatch this kid up quick, ladies!

Demi, that arena won't be empty for long.
Demi Lovato has been so busy being a judge on "X-Factor" -- may I remind you that she gets paid to SIT NEXT TO BRITNEY SPEARS!?!? -- that I nearly forgot that she's on tour with Hot Chelle Rae! Thankfully I keep in touch with the "Give Yourself A Break" singer the best way I know how: by obsessively refreshing her Twitter so frequently you'd think I was getting paid per click. HALLELUJAH, TECHNOLOGY!
Demi just tweeted a photo of herself hitting the stage for a rehearsal in New Jersey, along with the caption, "Here at soundcheck in Holmdel, NJ...who is coming to the show tomorrow night? " If it weren't for technology, I wouldn't have been able to tweet back that we can't come (I'm in Cali, suckas!), but that I LOVE her new pink hair and that I still listen to "Skyscraper" on repeat while weeping into my nightly bubble bath. (Don't ask.)
Oh, and ayo, speaking of technology, GOD BLESS THE ENTIRE INTERNET for availing me of the following importantly information: apparently One Direction's Niall Horan and Demi are just friends and may or may not Skype chat. Hm. Don't know if I'm buying this. Who wouldn't want to date a 1D-er!? Furthermore, doesn't anyone else wonder what their Skype user names are so we can try to get in on that face time?! (There's no way I'm alone in wondering.)

Chances are the club cannot handle Keith Apicary in Flo Rida's new video.
There are heroes like firefighters and Spider-Man, and then there's Nathan Barnatt, better known on the internet as Keith Apicary, whom you may remember from that time he infamously rolled into Kimberly Cole's dance audition. Well, he's back with a starring role in Flo Rida's "Let It Roll" video, which sees the L.A. comedian and video game aficionado hitting the club like a pro.
Rocking a sweatshirt that hasn't been in style since the Reagan administration and jeans he may have stolen from a California gold rush museum, he breaks new ground for dorky balding-guy dancing. The man's popping, locking and going nuts on the dance floor, the poolside bar, the private jet, and anywhere his magic feet can take him. Apicary makes Thom Yorke look like Usher -- and Usher look like Mikhail Baryshnikov, pre-"Sex and the City."
Apicary is as inspirational as he is funny, which Flo Rida clearly gets. Kinda like how The Black Keys left the dancing to Derrick T. Tuggle in their "Lonely Boy" video, Flo doesn't appear at all in the video, instead giving his pal the chance to shine, delivering an upbeat club track that should get you moving with or without grampaw jeans.
Flo Rida's Wild Ones album will bring the good times on July 3. The rapper's heading out on a month-long tour with Cee Lo Green and B.o.B that week -- better start practicing your moves.
Oh, and this certainly isn't the last you've heard from Keith Apicary -- you'll be seeing even more of him in Kimberly Cole and Eddie Amador's upcoming "U Make Me Wanna" video, featuring Garza, as evidenced in the photos after the jump.

Watch "Runnin," Jake Miller's version of Romeo and Juliet.
It's Miller time, guys! Not as in the beer (this is a family blog!). As in Jake Miller, the fresh-faced 19-year-old rapper whom we're pretty sure will be a household name like, five minutes ago.
We've already brought you his "What I Wouldn't Give" video and premiered (hairflip!) his socially conscious video, "I'm Alright." Today, let's get into "Runnin," Jake's brand-new video that's a take on "Romeo and Juliet," if Romeo and Juliet had access to YouTube. And running water and cars and stuff.

In the video, Jake (let's call him Romeo) falls in love with a pretty girl (and let's call her Juliet.) The young couple is totally obsessed with each other, but they're stopped at every turn by feuding families. The couple is distraught over being torn apart a la Diggy in his "Four Letter Word" video, and, well, we'll just let Jake himself tell it:
"I can honestly say that 'Runnin' is my favorite song I've made, and the video was my favorite to shoot," he told us. "I fall in love with a girl, but her dad doesn't approve of our relationship and keeps getting in between the two of us. But you'll have to watch the video yourself to see how it ends."

Watch New Cassettes perform a handsome live version of 'Bite Your Lip.'
If New Cassettes ever give up on this whole rock star thing, dudes might have a serious future on the runway. In their "PUSH Live" performance of "Bite Your Lip," singer Tom Stubbs rocks the chunky glasses, a skinny suit and mewelry he-bracelets. But their perfect style is second only to their pitch-perfect post-punk anthems.
The jagged "Bite Your Lip" gets an equally choppy video treatment in this live take on the song, with the band commanding a graffiti'd old building like it's the Staples Center and Bono's watching from backstage, questioning whether he should upgrade his frames. The British act's sharp songwriting chops are thanks to seven years together, though they're only on their sophomore album; Winterhead was released on April 3. And if the album sounds especially sparkly, it's thanks to production by pop guru Adam Schlesinger of Fountains of Wayne.
But for their "PUSH Live" performance, the quintet doesn't need any special treatment, only stacks of amps and your full attention. And maybe those sicks glasses -- next season's trends aren't gonna set themselves, after all. Grab your Warby Parkers and dig in below.

+ Radiohead has postponed several European shows after their stage collapsed in Toronto, which killed drum tech Scott Johnson and injured three crew members.
