  • 'Fun Size' Trailer: Victoria Justice Gets In The Halloween Spirit

The new trailer for the October film release "Fun Size" pretty much confirms our expectations for this film: It's gonna be pretty fun-sized indeed.

Picture it: Victoria Justice and her pal (Jane Levy from "Suburgatory") get invited to a Halloween party by the hottest guy (Thomas McDonell) in school. But, instead of just getting dolled up and getting the chance to hang out with said hot guy like everyone else in school, Victoria's mom (Chelsea Handler) forces her to watch her little brother.

And from there—you guessed it—antics ensue!

The film was directed by "The O.C." and "Gossip Girl" mastermind Josh Schwartz, so expect lots of fun, pop-culture-referencing moments to keep you on your toes. It officially hits theaters on October 26, just days before Halloween and also stars Johnny Knoxville, Ana Gasteyer and Thomas Mann.

Victoria previously opened up to us about the film, explaining that, "it's like a coming of age story; kind of like 'Superbad' meets 'Adventures in Babysitting.'"

Well, with a description like that and a trailer that entertaining, we kind of can't wait to buy our tickets. Now, the only question is: What costume should we wear?

  • Miley Cyrus' Midnight Madness: Which Black Is Best?

With Miley Cyrus all grown up and getting hitched soon to fiance Liam Hemsworth, it's no surprise that the one-time tween star's style has undergone an adult transformation as well—and lately, she's been trying on a particularly sexy sort of look: skin-baring ensembles in basic black, with some extra oomph up top.

First came "The Hunger Games" world premiere, where Miley showed up alongside Liam sporting some boho-inspired formalwear: a sheer and sparkly skirt, a cropped bustier top and her recently-shortened hair in soft shoulder-length waves. And yesterday, she made another appearance at the Australians in Film Awards & Benefit Dinner (again on Liam's arm), this time with poker-straight hair and a sleek black dress, with a peekaboo cut-out just under the bra line. Ooh la la!

We're definitely digging Miley's fashion-forward attitude, and it's nice to see her breaking out of the ballgown/mermaid-hair rut that used to be her go-to look. But it's hard to say which version of the new Miley is more fashionable: the chic bohemian, or the sleek sophisticate. What say you, internet?

  • 'Awkward' Returns Tonight With 'Absolutely Shocking' Premiere!

Things are about to get "Awkward"-er on MTV... and we couldn't be more excited. The second season of the network's hit teen series returns tonight, and there's plenty in store now that the identity of Jenna's "carefrontation" letter writer has been revealed and the Matty-Jenna-Jake love triangle heats up!

The "Awkward" cast, including Brett Davern (Jake), Molly Tarlov (Sadie) and Beau Mirchoff (Matty), stopped by the MTV Newsroom this week to give us the inside scoop on tonight's "absolutely shocking" premiere.

"Season two takes place two weeks after the finale of season one, so everything is still very fresh, very prevalent," Beau explained. "The love triangle hasn't been resolved, Sadie is as villainous as ever, all of her colors have shown. Jenna Hamilton has a lot of decisions to be made. I think the fans are going to love it."

Speaking of Sadie, the mean girl's real-life alter ego, Molly, went on to drop the teasiest of teases we've heard in a long while.

"We really start season two in the first episode just full force into it," she said. "The story moves along so quickly in the first episode. There's a lot of stuff that I will not just say surprising, I will say absolutely shocking, and is gonna—if you watch the first episode—is going to be really shocking to you."

Ugh. Seriously. We want to know all of the things. Right now. Sigh.

In the meantime! See if you can suss out any clues in the season two trailer below, and be sure to tune in tonight at 10:30/9:30 C for the premiere!

  • 'Step Up Revolution' Gets All Shook Up In EXCLUSIVE Cinemagraph

Nothing makes us want to shake our moneymakers quite like the upcoming release of a new "Step Up" movie, the cinematic dancing franchise that started with a popping-and-locking Channing Tatum and then just kept. On. DANCING. But with the fourth film, "Step Up Revolution," on its way to theaters next month, our moneymakers are all shook out... so instead, we've got a tiny cinemagraphical man to do all the celebratory dancing for us. EXCLUSIVELY. Yep, he's all ours, and we ain't sharin' him with no one! Oh, except you, 'cause we like you.

The next chapter in the "Step Up" story finds us in steamy, sexy Miami Beach, where newcomer Emily falls hard for the leader of an elite flash mob dance crew called, appropriately, The Mob. But their nascent relationship is threatened when it turns out that Emily is the daughter of an eeeevil developer who plans to raze the Mob's stomping grounds and turn it into...well, something hideous, no doubt.

Which is probably why our exclusive cinemagraph for the film features such a revolutionary setting for Adam G. Sevani, who is busting some seriously Michael Jackson-esque moves in front of an angry team of hell-no-we-won't-goers. Will there be a showdown between real estate tycoon and old-guard youngsters? Will there be romance and intrigue and rumbles at the beach? We don't know! But we do know this: There will be DANCING.

  • Lucy Hale's Going Country With First Album

    by Tiffany Taylor

If Lucy Hale wasn't busy enough this summer taping her hit series, "Pretty Little Liars," the young starlet is also now splitting her focus between acting and working on her music. Lucy was just signed to Hollywood Records and plans to spend time writing and recording during breaks from "PLL."

Lucy is no stranger to the mic. In 2003, she appeared on the "American Idol" spinoff "American Juniors," and was one of the top five winners put into a vocal group. Although the teen singing quintet broke up two years later to pursue solo efforts, things worked out well for Miss Hale as she booked her first television guest spot on a Nickelodeon show that year.

"I grew up performing, I grew up singing," Lucy told MTV News. "I never really knew which route I was going to take, but acting sort of took off for a while."

Lucy's acting and music worlds collided last year when she starred as a singer in "A Cinderella Story: Once Upon a Song." Lucy's killer vocals in the film caught the ears of Hollywood Records execs, who offered Lucy a record deal. However, Lucy isn't taking the classic actress-turned-pop star route—she wants to stay true to her Tennessee roots and pursue a career in country music.

"It just really speaks to me. I think country music has so much soul and is so heartfelt," Lucy said. "I think it's the perfect fit for me."

When it comes to her unique pop-country sound, Lucy says she wants it to be a mix between that of Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood.

We think Lucy is just as adorable as Taylor and, as we've seen onscreen in "PLL" has a strong, sassy side like Carrie. No doubt she can pull it off!

"It's new for me, it's a new kind of release," she said of her foray into songwriting. "It's completely different from what I do at work on 'Pretty Little Liars.' Not a lot of people know Lucy, they know 'Aria' or the other characters I've played," she said. "It's sort of like introducing me to everyone."

  • Joe Manganiello, Matt Bomer Have No Problem With Feeling Like Meat

Even though Hollywood starlets are no stranger to playing hookers and strippers as a matter of course (all with hearts of gold, naturally), the spectacle of men bumping and grinding and shedding their clothes is much more of an anomaly on the cinematic scene. So when "Magic Mike" actors Joe Manganiello and Matt Bomer joined us to chat about their roles in this year's biggest big-screen beefcake funfest, it had to be asked: Did either of them feel, y'know, objectified?

"There's no such thing as male objectification," Joe replied matter-of-factly, proving once and for all that he's got quite the brain to go with that beautiful torso and perfectly chiseled chin. And he continued, "I think that's what we're exposing with this movie. It doesn't exist.
We really don't care, I think, for the most part."

Meanwhile, Matt chimed in with the point that their experience making the movie might not necessarily align with our experience viewing it—and that that's okay.

"It's an interesting story to be a part of," he said. "And how that's going to be marketed and perceived is out of our hands, we just had fun telling the story."

Well, okay. But guys, come on, now: teeny-tiny thongs, a club-full of shrieking lady extras, dancing onstage whilst dollar bills got stuffed in unmentionable places...was there even one moment when these schmexy men felt objectified in spite of it all?

"Well, yeah," Joe admitted, but Matt offered the final word on the subject, saying, "But it's high time that those tables were turned."

AGREE. Now dance for us, sex monkeys!

Are you down with objectifying these hot pieces of meat...er, men?

  • Victoria Justice Hearts Premiere Of Katy Perry's Movie

Pink was the new red at last night's "Katy Perry: Part of Me" premiere, where the chanteuse walked the bubble-gum-hued carpet outside Hollywood's iconic Grauman's Chinese Theatre and performed a number of her hits (including "Firework" and "Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)") for gathered fans. There were plenty of famous faces in attendance too, including "Victorious" star Victoria Justice, who got in on the fun with the cute 3-D specs. Adorbs!

The concert flick follows Katy during her most recent tour, chronicling both the highs and lows, including her recent divorce from comic Russell Brand.

"I guess some of it is just hopefully an inspiration for people," she told MTV News. "When they see it, they are like, 'Oh, yeah, she goes through some sh-- too. I can't dodge life's curve balls if Katy Perry can't dodge life's curve balls.' "

"Katy Perry: Part of Me" hits theaters July 5.

Until next time, Crushers, we wish you super Tweet Dreams.

  • 'True Blood' Actress Anna Paquin Packin' Twins

For those taking bets on what kind of little one Anna Paquin is incubating in that baby bump, the odds just got more complicated...by a factor of two. (...Right? Whatever. Math is hard.) Point is: the Us Weekly has the news that the "True Blood" actress and her husband, the charming Stephen Moyer, are expecting twins!

This is a surprise outcome for the couple, who are reportedly getting lots of advice on doubling their fun in the baby department from twin-experienced co-star Sam Trammell (his girlfriend gave birth to a couple of bouncing babes last summer, so he's a pro at this stuff.) And while this is Anna's first pregnancy, Stephen has a couple of kids from a prior relationship, so he should be ready and able to baby-wrangle with the best of 'em when his wife needs another set of hands.

Of course, given Anna's leading lady status on what's pretty much the naked-est show on television (with possible exception for "Game of Thrones"), there's also plenty of pontificating within the blogosphere about how able she'll be to bare all for her role as Sookie Stackhouse now that there's 100 percent more kid on the way. Todd Lowe reportedly confirmed that her stunt double was getting some extra use during the last weeks of shooting the current season, and although she's due before filming is set to start on season six... I mean, girlfriend is eating for three now. Here's hoping the writers come up with a post-pregnancy-friendly plotline to give her a break on the nude scenes. Or maybe every time the script calls for a naked Sookie, they could just change it up so it's naked Eric instead? Just a suggestion! We wouldn't mind!

How do you think "True Blood" will work around Anna's pregnancy?

  • Beau Mirchoff, Brett Davern Get 'Awkward' As This Week's Hump Day Hotties

Much like "Awkward" leading lady, Jenna, we too have a hard time picking between Matty and Jake. Both guys are super attractive and bring their own je ne sais quoi to the table, which keeps us tuning into the hilarious MTV comedy week after week. So, in honor of the antics set to go down in season two—many of which are Matty and Jake related—we are naming Beau Mirchoff and Brett Davern this week's Hump Day Hotties.

Check out this dreamy video of Beau and Brett talking pick-up lines, and keep reading for more details about them!

Vital stats: Well, Beau was born in Seattle but grew up in Canada. He went into acting at the urging of his sister. Meanwhile, Brett is a fellow Washington native who studied acting at Stagedoor Manor Performing Arts Training Center and the American Musical and Dramatic Academy.

And in case you're wondering if they have any game when it comes to picking up ladies, you might want to check out their hysterical, albeit not-all-that-convincing pick-up lines they used when they stopped by the MTV Newsroom ahead recently. It was, um, awkward.

Where you might have already seen them: Beau has appeared in a number of films and TV shows, including "I Am Number Four," "Heartland" and "Desperate Housewives." Brett has also grown a lovely little resume himself, which includes appearances on "Medium," "Cold Case" and "In Plain Sight."

Why you should take notice of them now: Well this week, Matty and Jake will continue to bromance it up while also trying to romance Jenna when "Awkward." How will it end? Well, only time will tell.

Until next week, when we choose another Hump Day Hottie, you can salute the guys by watching the video!
