Justin Bieber will drop his highly anticipated brand-new album Believe on Tuesday, and he's hooking up with MTV to celebrate the big release. The pop sensation will catch up with MTV News the day the album drops for the 30-minute special "Bieber Live."

Bieber will sit down with MTV News' Sway Calloway — not to mention 100 fans who will be in the studio and get treated to performances of his new songs "Boyfriend" and "Die in Your Arms."

It'll all go down at 7:30 p.m. ET/PT on MTV. As if that weren't enough pop awesomeness for you, immediately following all the Bieber antics, Katy Perry's new music video for "Wide Awake" will have its world premiere at 7:53 p.m. ET/PT. She'll also be sitting down with Sway during "MTV First: Katy Perry" to chat about the video and her 3-D movie, "Katy Perry: Part of Me."

During "Bieber Live," in addition to chilling with Sway and performing, the singer will also answer fan questions in studio and via Twitter (tweet @MTVNews with the hashtag #AskBieber).

Bieber's MTV visit Tuesday is just the latest on his worldwide promotional schedule for his album release. He's already caused a stir in Norway, Paris and Mexico City, among other stops, as he spreads the gospel of Believe. He's set to go on an official Believe Tour this September, and the jaunt is already sold-out.

For Believe, Bieber hooked up with a number of A-listers, including Drake, Big Sean, Ludacris and Nicki Minaj. On the production end, he also got some of the finest in the business, including Max Martin, Rodney Jerkins and even '90s ballad master Babyface. He'll talk all about it Tuesday during MTV's "Bieber Live."

Don't miss "Bieber Live" on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. ET/PT on MTV, followed by "MTV First: Katy Perry" at 7:53 p.m., when Katy will debut her "Wide Awake" music video.

  • Drake Wants To 'Bring People Together' With Third Album

Toronto rapper tells MTV News he wants to have 'a real impact on the world' with his follow-up to Take Care.
By Nadeska Alexis, with reporting by Sway Calloway

    Photo:

Every once in a while, Drake will remind us that he "got rich off a mixtape," but now that the YMCMB rapper is coming up on his third album, he's focused on sharing his evolution as an artist. Some of that change is a result of his experiences over the past couple of years, and his headline-making club brawl with Chris Brown this week should certainly factor in.

The two entertainers clashed in a messy fight at a New York City nightclub on Wednesday after exchanging heated words. It seems fair to say that Drake, who tends to address the ups-and-downs of fame in his music, will have plenty of new material when he starts recording this third album.

"I feel like with every project we do there's growth and with every project I do, I become more comfortable with the artist I am," Drake told MTV News' Sway Calloway backstage at a recent stop on his Club Paradise tour. "Take Care solidified a lot of things for me. [It's] a list of things that would probably be too immense to go through, but it solidified a lot of things and let me know what I want to do, and who I want to be."

The Toronto rapper, who has clearly reflected on the scope of his music, added that he's pushed boundaries way past the standards. "The music that I make is bigger than the box people try and put rappers [in]," he said. "People always try to draw me back to just rap. And — nah, I'm good. I like what I do. Period. That's how I feel. Nobody can really do what I do or what we do, including 40 and all the producers that I've worked with."

Drake has already revealed that his third album will be very much influenced by recent events in his life, including his move to Los Angeles, but he also hopes it will have a lasting effect on people.

"[It's interesting] to see artists that have a real impact on the world," he said. "We live in a generation where there is nothing necessarily to fight for politically, whereas in the Marley documentary [for example] he was fighting for peace in Jamaica. [There's] nothing necessarily for me to step up and say I want to fight for, but there is a way for me to give moments to the world, and to bear my emotions and hope that I'm remembered as that guy who was able to bring people together. I want to be that guy. I want to bring people together."

  • Katy Perry Wrote 'Wide Awake' As 'Perfect' End To Teenage Dream Era

'I love this song so much,' Perry says in 'MTV First: Katy Perry' exclusive interview.
By Jocelyn Vena, with reporting by Sway Calloway

    Katy Perry
    Photo:

Katy Perry was on a mission when she sat down to write her new single, the dreamy ballad "Wide Awake." Full of imagery about moving on from a tough situation, according to Perry, the song is the perfect way for her to end her Teenage Dream era. It is also a track she wrote specifically for her July 5 movie release, "Katy Perry: Part of Me."

"I love this song so much," she told MTV News. "It was a song that I hadn't written for Teenage Dream. I was doing this movie and they asked me if I wanted to write an end-title song for the movie and I was like, 'I know exactly what I want to say.' I was really kind of dying to write another song at that point. I didn't want to wait until I did a whole new record, and it's kind of the perfect last word of me at this moment."

Katy will have a lot more to say about the track and its video when she opens up about it all during a special MTV News interview, "MTV First: Katy Perry," airing on Tuesday. Perry said about the clip, "I just wanted to tell a story about myself going through this journey, maybe sometimes trying to get out of the maze. There's good parts, there's bad parts. Of course, there have been a lot of things that went on last year that I had to get through and overcome. I think what probably kept me going is just the purity of my belief in music."

Make sure to tune in to MTV this Tuesday, June 19, at 7:53 p.m. ET, for the world premiere of "Wide Awake," followed by an exclusive 30-minute interview with Katy and MTV's Sway Calloway on MTV.com. Perry will discuss the song as well as her upcoming 3-D concert film, "Katy Perry: Part of Me."

The "Wide Awake" video will also debut on VH1, Logo and TeenNick, in addition to MTV.com, VH1.com and LOGOtv.com. Perry's fans around the globe will be able to stream the video online at KatyPerry.MTV.com.

  • Green Lantern's New Gay Light: Blake Likely Has 'Multicolored' Idea

'Maybe he'll get a multicolored costume and won't be green anymore,' the 'Green Lantern' actress jokes to MTV News.
    By Kara Warner

    Ryan Reynolds in "Green Lantern"
    Photo:

DC Comics broke some very progressive ground earlier this month when they announced that hero Alan Scott, the original Green Lantern, is gay. Naturally, the news made international headlines and was met with a myriad of different reactions, from outpourings of support to those of outrage and misunderstanding.

When MTV News caught up with "Green Lantern" actress Blake Lively recently as she promoted her latest film, "Savages," we asked for her thoughts on the subject, which was news to her.

"Cool!" Lively said, expressing her support for DC's monumental decision. "Maybe he'll get a multicolored costume and won't be green anymore," she added with a smile.

Lively brings up an excellent point: Not that the new writers or artists would ever completely do away with Lantern's signature green suit, but we can hope that they might add a few pieces of flair.

"He's going to be the leader of the team, this dynamic hero, he'll do anything to save people, the bravest man on the planet. Why not just make him gay as well?" said new "Lantern" writer James Robinson in an interview with USA Today. "What I really want to do with this character is make the fact that he's gay to be a part of who he is and not to be the one identifying aspect of him ... and have his humor and his bravery be as much or more a part of him as his sexuality."

Lively pointed out that Alan Scott is different from Ryan Reynolds' Hal Jordan from the 2011 movie and that the heroes come in all shapes and sizes. "There's lots of Green Lanterns," she said.

Robinson said this dynamic reimagining of Scott will eventually cross paths with Jordan, and they'll have very different personalities and abilities. "When they're firing their rings at the same time, you'll be able to tell which energy is which," he said. "That's a very important thing so that it sets them apart."

Check out everything we've got on "Green Lantern."

  • T.I., Rick Ross Hold Court, Lil Wayne Surprises At Birthday Bash

Gucci Mane, Future, Usher and more of Atlanta's finest celebrate at Saturday's Bash.
By Rob Markman, with additional reporting by FLX

T.I. onstage at Atlanta's Birthday Bash on Saturday night
    Photo:

ATLANTA — ATL is an infamous party town, and on Saturday night there was no bigger celebration than Hot 107.9's 17th annual Birthday Bash. Every year, the city's premier hip-hop station brings out rap's finest, and Saturday was no different: Gucci Mane, Rick Ross, Usher, Lil Wayne and T.I. all performed for more than 20,000 fans at A-Town's Philips Arena.

The five-hour bash started as new southern staples like Cash Out, Travis Porter and Future pumped up the crowd alongside beloved veterans Lil Jon, Pastor Troy, Crime Mob, Lil Scrappy, Rocko and Gucci Mane.  Each set seemingly outdid the one that preceded it. After Future built the crowd into a frenzy with his catalog of hits ("Tony Montana," "Same Damn Time" and "Turn on the Lights"), Rick Ross stormed the stage as energetic as ever. The MMG big man bounced up and down and controlled both the entire arena running through power tracks like "I'ma Boss," "9 Piece" and "Bag of Money."

While all opening acts were appreciated, none were greeted quite like the King of the South. At 10:15 p.m., T.I. took the stage while his live band riffed the opening chords to his 2010 single "I'm Back." It was all very fitting considering it's been a few years since Tip graced the stage which has made him royalty in his native city. "A-Town what's happenin'? I'd like to welcome y'all to my Birthday Bash," T.I. said.

Tip dug deep into his discography reciting tracks like "Rubberband Man" and "24s." The Trap Muzik MC set the tone with street bangers before catering to the ladies with "Love This Life" and "Whatever You Like." Immediately after, T.I. began to parade out his long list of multiplatinum friends. "It was a good 30 mil, maybe 50; maybe 50 mil," Tip told MTV News after the show trying to estimate the amount of collective records sold between all of his specially invited guests.

First there was Usher, who sang his current smash "Climax" and then came Nelly, who along with Kelly Rowland performed his 2002 single "Dilemma." Nelly exited the stage and left Kelly to rock her #1 single "Motivation." Halfway through her tune, Lil Wayne skated out onto the stage rapping his guest verse. The Destiny's Child singer then turned the stage over to the YMCMB boss, who rocked a number of his own hits like "Bill Gates" and "John."

T.I. could've stopped there but then took his stage back proving that he could've easily performed without any help. Tip went solo for a few, spitting "Swagga Like Us" and "Bring 'em Out" and then once again played the gracious host inviting out newcomer Chief Keef and ATL veteran Young Jeezy."All these people I called, these are personal acquaintances of mine, these are not people I call just because they have hit records," T.I. told us.

At the end of T.I.'s set, which ran over an hour, there was only one song left to sing. As the opening chords for "Live Your Life" rang through Philips Arena, fireworks shot through the air and gold confetti fell from the rafters.

What's your favorite Birthday Bash memory? Tell us in the comments!

  • Rodney King Dead at 47

King's brutal beating by LAPD officers and the outcome of the trial triggered the Los Angeles riots in 1992.
    By Nadeska Alexis

    Rodney King in April, 2012
    Photo:

Rodney King, the man who became the catalyst for the 1992 Los Angeles riots, was found dead Sunday (June 17) in his California home at the age of 47.

King was brutally beaten during a 1991 traffic stop in Los Angeles, during which he was struck more than 50 times by four white officers, who were later accused of using racial slurs during the attack. Footage of the incident eventually made its way to TV, sparking public outcry. The controversial outcome of the trial (all four were acquitted) led to a series of deadly riots and looting in the city that claimed 50 lives and cost approximately $1 billion in damages.

According to CNN, King was found on Sunday morning, after his fiancée Cynthia Kelly placed a 911 call to the Rialto, California, police at approximately 5:25 a.m. When officers arrived at the scene, King's body was at the bottom of a pool; he was confirmed dead at a nearby hospital.

Captain Randy DeAnda told reporters that police would investigate the crime as a drowning, and added that there were no obvious signs of foul play at the scene or suspicious injuries to the victim's body. "His fiancée heard him in the rear yard," DeAnda said describing the events before Kelly placed the 911 call. (Kelly met King while serving as a juror in his 1994 lawsuit against the city of Los Angeles.)

Even after the L.A. riots had ended, King's beating continued to send shockwaves across the nation, thanks to the clear picture of the racially motivated police brutality that was captured in the taped footage. In 1993, the accused officers stood trial, this time in federal court, and two were sentenced to 30 months in prison, while two others were acquitted. King, who brought his own lawsuit against the city, received $3.8 million in damages.

Strangely enough, in 2011 was King was ticketed for a minor traffic violation on the 20th anniversary of the beating. Besides that, the Californian also attempted to pursue a career in music, using some of his settlement money to launch it. Four years ago, King appeared on VH1's "Celebrity Rehab," where he was open about his battle with alcohol.

The impact of King's beating on the state of race in America can be heard across classic hip-hop albums like Ice Cube's The Predator and Dr. Dre's The Chronic, which captured the racial tension in Los Angeles at the time. On his single, "Who Got the Camera?" Cube made direct reference to the beating, by telling a realistic story of being assaulted by the police after being pulled over.

Share your condolences with the King family in the comments below.

  • 'True Blood' Episode Two: How Gory Will It Get?

We review the big questions left over from the premiere before tonight's new show.
    By Kara Warner

Stephen Moyer, Alexander Skarsgard and Lucy Griffiths in "True Blood"
    Photo:

Last week's kickoff to the fifth season of "True Blood" was as bloody of a good time as we expected. As creator Alan Ball and company are wont to do with their vampire soap, the first episode of this new season ended in cliffhanger territory; plenty of people were up to no good and best friends were turned into vampires.

So what's in store for tonight?

How Will Tara Take to Being Undead?
Given all we know about Tara's stubborn and incendiary personality, along with what we know about newborn vampires, we expect Tara's transition to be a particularly messy one. She won't go killing off Sookie and Lafayette, of course; they're main characters. But we do expect her to do some damage via draining. Will she even take to the idea at all? How will the maker/makee bond play out between Tara and Pam?

When Will Chris Meloni Make His Appearance?
We've been waiting to see Chris Meloni and his fangs ever since it was announced that the HBO alum would be joining the cast for season five. His fellow castmembers have been singing his praises, and Meloni himself promised us "a lot of staking." So where is he? Seems to us he should be making his appearance very soon, since Bill and Eric are still tied up with the Authority and all.

Can Jason and Jessica Get It Together Already?
It is very sweet that Jason misses his best buddy Hoyt and is trying to smooth things over. However, Jason can't keep away from Jessica, so he might as well give up on repairing that friendship for now, which should leave the door open for him and Jess to actually formulate a relationship. Jason could use a strong-willed, independent lady in his life, despite the fact that Jessica wants to sow her wild oats.

Why Won't Alcide Embrace His New Pack Master Status?
Yes, that group-eating of fallen pack master and all-around bad guy Marcus was super gross. But weird cannibalistic rituals be damned, Alcide would make a great pack master! He's perfectly authoritative and assertive when he needs to be and so sweet and kind! From what we know about Alcide, which isn't that much, he has always seemed resistant to joining up with wolf packs. Perhaps we'll find out the reason behind his lone-wolf mind-set soon.

    What's up with Steve Newlin?
We are definitely intrigued by this new twist to Steve Newlin's character. As a "gay vampire American," he should definitely provide for some lighthearted distractions this season. But now that his recently declared love for Jason has been spurned, what is he going to do? Newlin was not at all pleased to see Jessica claim Jason for herself and we don't think he'll soon move on or go quietly into the woods. We're betting it's just a matter of time before he makes some mischief.

  • Nas' Father's Day Brunch Salutes All Dads

'Mother's Day is #1, but every once in a while, let's remember the fathers too,' Nas tells MTV News.
    By Rob Markman

    Nas
    Photo:

Nas takes being a dad seriously. On his debut 1994 album, Illmatic, God's Son lightly touched on his first forays into fatherhood, and as his catalog grew, so did his subject matter. In 2004, he saluted his own pop, Olu Dara, and even collaborated with his old man on his "Bridging the Gap" single. But this year on Father's Day, the Queensbridge rap great plans to toss a nod to all dads with a special brunch in his native New York City.

"I'm doing a Father's Day brunch to just celebrate the fathers out there," Nas told MTV News on Tuesday. "It's important that we acknowledge that, because family is a very important thing, and Mother's Day is #1, but every once in a while, let's remember the fathers too."

For the brunch, Nasir hooked up with New York radio station Hot 97 to hold a contest. Fans wrote in and explained what makes their dad great, and the writers of the best entries get to spend the day with the rap star.

It all falls in line with Nas' latest single, "Daughters." Rather than romanticize the role that dads play in their children's lives, Esco tells a story of real-life mistakes that both he and his teenage daughter Destiny Jones have made throughout the years.

"When I cut the record, it was like my daughter was on Twitter and tweeting crazy stuff, and I'm like, 'Yo, what are you doin'?' " Nas recalled.

The rapper soon realized that his girl had a public persona online much like a rapper would through his music and videos. By tweeting pictures of condoms and sending other suggestive messages, Destiny came off as a wild child when various blog sites picked up on her activities.

"She was creating this image on Twitter, this raunchy kinda style that was more for the Internet world, but not realizing people pick up these sorta things and put it on their websites," he explained. "I think my record is me being angry at her, angry at myself and just really shouting out to fathers out there."

While "Daughters" is new, the type of self-reflection the Illmatic MC displays on the record is not dissimilar from other records in his catalog. On his 2002 LP God's Son, Nas opened up about his mother's death from cancer on the song "Dance." It's his introspection that truly makes Nas great. "I understand people might not get it, but this is how I express myself," he said.

What are your plans for Father's Day? Let us know in the comments!

  • Drake Moves Past Bar Brawl With Help From The Weeknd, Dipset

Drake brushes off Chris Brown drama at New York show with all-star lineup including A$AP Rocky, Busta Rhymes and 2 Chainz.
    By Nadeska Alexis

The Weeknd and Drake perform at New York's Jones Beach on Saturday
    Photo:

WANTAGH, New YorkDrake hit the stage at the Nikon Theater in Jones Beach on Saturday night for his first public appearance since the now-infamous club brawl with Chris Brown, and except for a passing reference to the incident, the show went on with extra fuel from special guests like the Weeknd and Dipset.

After opening sets from French Montana, 2 Chainz, Meek Mill, Waka Flocka Flame and J. Cole, Drake kicked things off with his Take Care tracks "Lord Knows" and "Underground Kings." He formally introduced his crowd to the "greatest club in the world," and assured them that no afterparty could measure up to what he had in store for the night, since he'd brought out "every single n---a that you wanna hear."

Cue "Crew Love" and an appearance from Drizzy's Toronto pal the Weeknd, who momentarily sent the crowd into a frenzy, as the first in a chain of surprise guests. In addition to summoning Waka, Meek, 2 Chainz and French Montana back to the stage for features, Drake also brought out his Cash Money labelmate Busta Rhymes to perform the throwback "Put Your Hands Where My Eyes Can See," while A$AP Rocky and his mob dropped in as well.

It wasn't until Drake performed his soul-baring single "Marvin's Room" that he finally made a blatant reference to the controversy surrounding the Chris Brown incident. He told the audience that he was in a great mood, despite the last few nights being difficult. Once he got that off his chest, he continued the show with an appearance from Jamaican dancehall star Mavado, who performed his own single "I'm So Special."

Despite earlier rumors that Drake might be arrested before the end of the night,  the YMCMB rapper was calm and cool, focused only on delivering a night to remember. He saved his biggest stunt for the final minutes of the show, bringing Jim Jones onstage to perform his hit "We Fly High," followed by Juelz Santana with "Dipset (Santana's Town)" and finally, Cam'ron. If having A$AP's crew on the bill wasn't enough shine for Harlem, Drake managed to get all three members of Dipset on stage with him for a memorable moment as they performed "Salute."

While details are still being revealed about the club altercation Wednesday night, Drake did his best to brush off the drama and stay focused on the music. This weekend, MTV News caught up with Cash Money CEO Birdman in Atlanta, where he threw his full support behind Drake. "To me, Drizzy ain't did nothin' wrong, he ain't done nothin' wrong to nobody," Birdman said.  "He just doin' great music. He's not a reckless guy out there just wildin' out; he's a humble kid makin' great music."

  • Father's Day: Top Five Worst Movie Dads And Why We Love Them

In honor of Father's Day, we name our favorite 'worst' dads in film, from Mrs. Doubtfire to Darth Vader.
    By Kevin P. Sullivan

    Robin Williams in "Mrs. Doubtfire"
    Photo:

The movies have given us some of the best and worst fathers in the history of pop culture. A deadbeat dad can spark the action for an entire film, and a good one can inspire the lesson you're supposed to take home from a movie.

But some dads are just so wonderfully misguided, so hilariously unfit for their role that we can't help but love them. So in honor of Father's Day, here is our rundown of some of our favorite best worst dads in film history.

    Odin - "Thor"
Sure, he's the All Father, dad to Thor, and pretty terrible stepfather to Loki, but when he's really needed, what does he do? He goes into his "Odinsleep." Earth was on the brink of destruction thanks to Loki's treacherous ways, and Odin's solution is to take a nap? Granted he wakes up just in time to save Thor from falling off of the destroyed Bifröst, but we could have avoided a lot of this if he had just stayed awake a little longer.

    Mrs. Doubtfire - "Mrs. Doubtfire"
There are few things that prove a man's dedication to his children like disguising himself as an elderly English woman and posing as their nanny. Also, there are fewer things that are as creepy. Robin Williams helped sell the whole notion as something that is sweet and endearing rather than a serious case of child endangerment, but the second you take a step back to think about it, the scenario seems less cutesy.

    Darth Vader - "Star Wars"
Anakin Skywalker is ultimately a victim of the dark side, but you still kind of have to blame him for how long it took him to realize that he was the bad guy. The Emperor literally had to electrocute Vader's own son in front of him to get him to snap out of it. He does get some bonus points for tossing the dude down the bottomless pit.

    Randy Marsh - "South Park"
There aren't many redeeming qualities to Stan's dad, Randy. He drinks, frequently ends up in his underwear and is terrible at playing "Wheel of Fortune." But there is no other fictional father that has worked his way into our hearts by being so thoroughly terrible. If you think that Randy has no right to be as bad of a dad as he is, we have this to say to you: "I thought this was America."

    Engineers - "Prometheus"
    (Spoilers Ahead ...)
The ripped pale guys from "Prometheus" may have created all of us by drinking the black goo and falling into a waterfall, but then what? They tried to destroy us, and they didn't even have the decency to explain why. We'll hold out more definitive judgments for a second viewing or maybe a sequel, but for now, they're kind of deadbeats.

Who's your favorite "worst" dad? Tell us in the comments! For breaking news, celebrity columns, humor and more — updated around the clock — visit MTVMoviesBlog.com.

  • Radiohead Stage Collapse Kills One

Accident in Toronto left two others injured. All three men were likely members of Radiohead's tour crew.
    By Jonathan Goldner

The collapsed section of stage at Toronto's Downsview Park
    Photo:

A massive section of ironwork collapsed at Toronto's Downsview Park Saturday afternoon prior to Radiohead's planned show there, leaving one dead and three injured.

According to Toronto Police, the deceased man was in his thirties. Given that the show was not yet open to the audience, he was likely a member of Radiohead's tour crew. The man's name is not yet being released until such time as police are able to notify his family. Two of the injured were treated and released with minor injuries. The third, 45 years old, sustained a serious, but not life-threatening injury to his head.

It's not clear if the victims were working on the elevated metalwork or on the stage level when the collapse occurred.

So far Radiohead's only comment has been via their Twitter, which posted what appears to be a hastily written message just after 5 pm ET. "Due to unforeseen circumstances tonight's at downsview park tonight has been cancelled. Fans are advised not to make their way to the venue."

The CBC spoke to several concessionaires who were on scene at the time of the accident. Alexandra Mihan reported a sound like fireworks, then hearing screaming and gasping. "We turned around, and the entire top of the stage has just collapsed. All of the metalwork and all of the screens had just kind of folded over on top of each other." Photos and videos making their way across the Internet on Saturday painted a similarly grim picture.

Beer vendor Jeff Cole added, "It's very, very fortunate that the gates weren't open, because it would have been pandemonium."

  • No Drake Arrest Planned For Tonight, NYPD Confirm

But authorities are reportedly calling for extra security at the NY show following Drizzy's nightclub brawl with Chris Brown.
    By Rob Markman

    Drake
    Photo:

Despite numerous reports to the contrary, the NYPD confirmed to MTV News there are no plans to arrest Drake before his show in Long Island, New York, tonight and the investigation into the YMCMB star's nightclub brawl with Chris Brown is still ongoing.

But that doesn't mean authorities are taking things lightly before tonight's concert: TMZ is reporting that New York State Police are calling for extra security at the Nikon at Jones Beach Theatre following the Thursday morning scuffle between Brown's and Drizzy's entourages in a New York City club.

Reps for Drake have maintained that the Toronto MC did nothing wrong. On Friday night, Cash Money CEO Birdman weighed in on the incident. "To me, Drizzy ain't did nothin' wrong, he ain't done nothin' wrong to nobody. He's just doin' great music," he told MTV News exclusively. "He's not a reckless guy out there just wildin' out; he's a humble kid makin' great music."

There has been a ton of finger-pointing following the brawl, which reportedly involved members of both Drake's and Breezy's respective crews. Brown's lawyer Mark Geragos has been very vocal in implicating Drake as the main culprit in the incident. "I have turned over evidence that it was Drake who instigated this," he told the New York Post. "The evidence makes it clear that Chris is the victim of all this.

"I believe the police are building a case against Drake and his thugs," he continued.

The police did confirm with MTV News that the case was ongoing but would not confirm that they were ready to arrest the Take Care MC or anyone in connection to the brawl. Coincidently, the manager of the W.I.P. nightclub (where the incident occurred) was arrested Friday due to existing warrants unrelated to the incident.

Drake has big plans for tonight's concert, which is a scheduled part of his critically acclaimed Club Paradise Tour. During an interview with DJ Scoob Doo's BreadOverBed.com, Drizzy said he plans to outdo Hot 97's Summer Jam concert. After a radio DJ insulted Nicki Minaj just hours before she was scheduled to perform at the June 3 concert in New Jersey, YMCMB boss Lil Wayne pulled the plug on his label's all-star performance.
