The MTV Movie Awards are officially on, which means that the 2012 Movie Awards live blog is here to keep you covered!
MTV Movies Blog and Splash Page editor Josh Wigler and Hollywood Crush editor Amy Wilkinson will be keeping you up-to-date on everything happening at the Movie Awards red carpet and show. We'll have our illustrious reporters on the scene sending us live updates to give you all the scoop on what's happening backstage. We know you want to know just as badly as we do all the terrible, wonderful things Russell Brand will be doing and saying to the stars in attendance while the cameras aren't rolling.

Переслать - 'Hunger Games' Star Jennifer Lawrence Targeted At Movie Awards
We told Jennifer Lawrence, "If you play with a bow and arrow like that, it's only a matter of time before somebody gets hurt."
Luckily, the star of "The Hunger Games" isn't actually hurt. Lawrence appears in a short film that's going to debut during the 21st annual MTV Movie Awards that plays off of Hollywood's new favorite past time, archery.
In the sketch, Joel McHale plays an archery coach to the stars, but not one that is particularly well-liked. From the look on Lawrence's face and the arrow going through her head, it looks like she may have had an encounter with this guy.
"Archery has really come back in a big way, so it seemed like a good thing to do as a jumping-off point for some comedy," Movie Awards short film producer Jordan Rubin told MTV News. "You have 'The Hunger Games,' Jeremy Renner [as Hawkeye] in 'Avengers,' 'Game of Thrones,' 'Snow White and the Huntsman,' also 'Brave' is coming out. It's good comedy fodder, and Jen totally got it. We were so happy she made time."
If you want to see the whole short film and perhaps see if Lawrence is actually OK (don't worry, she is), you'll have to tune into the MTV Movie Awards tonight live on MTV.

Переслать - 'True Blood,' 'Vampire Diaries' Stars Join After Hours Support Group
In a special MTV Movie Awards edition of After Hours, we brought together some of our favorite stars from "True Blood," "The Vampire Diaries" and "Teen Wolf" for a nice MTV News get together. Unfortunately, we didn't realize how weird things would quickly get.
It turns out that the actors who play some of our most beloved supernatural creatures on the small screen have some weird quirks in their private lives. Like "Vampire Diaries'" Candice Accola, who wore a cape and fangs to an audition for a Zac Efron romantic comedy. Or Joe Manganiello, whose weirdness manifests in him pulling his "monster" (i.e. his penis) out at inappropriate times. And "Teen Wolf" star Tyler Hoechlin doesn't want to shave. Ever.
But it's "True Blood" actress Kristin Bauer who has us the most concerned. "Why can't I drink human blood?" she asked indignantly. "Who says that's so 'wrong'?"
"I love blood," Manganiello agreed.
"It's good with scotch," Hoechlin added.
We're pretty sure these guys either aren't very good at Googling, or they are just reading all of the wrong sites. But at least we got Hoechlin to stop illegally downloading HBO shows. This is progress, people.

Переслать - Russell Brand Breaks Down The MTV Movie Awards Leading Ladies
There are some pretty big stars that are going to be in attendance at the 2012 MTV Movie Awards, and we can't wait for them all to get the Russell Brand treatment. We decided to get a jumpstart on the madness by asking the Movie Awards host what he thinks of some of the leading ladies who will be present at this year's awards show.
Like, say, Kristen Stewart. "That's 'Twilight,' innit?" he asked, clearly having done his Movie Awards research. "I don't watch things like that. I don't know, I just don't know why I would watch it."
That being said, Brand added that he is a big fan of Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner. "They're good-looking boys, Rob Pattinson and him with the tummy. I met him. He was really handsome. ... I suppose, if you're into that," he said.
And what about Emma Stone, who had such a big year that she's getting the first-ever Trailblazer Award?
"It was the same size as everybody's year," Brand said with an indignant laugh. "Time don't expand just because you happen to have a good job where you're getting too much money. Time is the same for Emma Stone!"
Two of the women in attendance are actresses that Brand had been interested in in the past, though he never made a movie. Maybe this is his year, who knows.
Take for instance Mila Kunis. "I done a film with her before. She's gorgeous. But she was going out with 'Home Alone' in them days, so what could I do? You can't turn over 'Home Alone'!" Brand said with regret.
And then there's Charlize Theron, who Brand really botched his first introduction with.
"Whoa, my god, she's amazing, ain't she? Yeah, I really nosed it up. It was embarrassing. I messed it up bad. Well, I met her and I didn't recognize her, and like I was at a party and I was looking at birds and that, and she comes over and goes, 'You look like you're talking about something untoward,' and I went, 'Well,' and showed off like an idiot, not recognizing her," he said. "And then later on, my mate Danny ... goes, 'Saw you talking to that Charlize Theron earlier. Well done, mate.' I went, 'When?' And he went, 'Earlier,' and I was like, 'Oh no, I didn't use none of my moves!'"
Even when Brand found out that she's a mother, he was willing to give their relationship a shot.
"She's got a child! Why's that not in my notes? " he said. "I'll raise him -- Is she single? -- I'll raise the boy -- Is it a boy? -- I'll raise him as an Englishman! This is how you drink tea. This is how you're sexually repressed."

Переслать - 'Rock Of Ages' Exclusive Clip: Julianne Hough Rocks Out
Last night marked the finale of MTV's Movie Awards Sneak Peek Week, and stars Julianne Hough, Diego Boneta, Malin Akerman and director Adam Shankman were on hand to present "Rock of Ages" and host a 30 minute Q&A following the screening.
"Rock of Ages" doesn't hit theaters until June 15, but for now, you can satisfy your fix with this exclusive clip we debuted last night. In it, we see Julianne Hough's Sherrie Christian and Diego Boneta's Drew Boley start rocking out to their "Jukebox Hero" medley with Russell Brand and Alec Baldwin's "I Love Rock 'n' Roll."
Unfortunately we don't get to see Brand and Baldwin sing in this clip, but we do get to see the romance between Sherrie and Drew brewing. Her eyes certainly do light up when he admits that he wants to be the next Stacee Jaxx. That's enough to get us rocking out in the middle of a record store, too.
